Record updated, check the OP -  current winning rate is 66.66%

Tomorrow's game  Magic -3 vs  Hornets +3

On the 3 games available tomorrow, I'm choosing this one because I feel it's the easiest among the 3.
Magic has been playing really good in the last 4 games, winning in double digit win, they are perfect in their 3 road games  and I think
they can do better now since they are playing at their home. If they can continue their dominating performance, it should be an easy double digit win.

Pick - Magic -3

Wonderful call mate too bad I hadnt seen this play earlier.
Going forward I will be checking this here thread a least 1 hour before the tip off.
4622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SOLUTION TO KNOW IF SATOSHI NAKAMOTO IS REALLY DEAD.... on: February 15, 2019, 04:48:25 PM
This idea has been done in the past and thought up as well.
Even if Mr. Satoshi is still alive, its only fair to leave the man alone and give him his space.
Can you only imagine the outcry and demand in public interest from this person who already chooses to live a life away from the public.
He would be praised by a few while being tar and feathered by the masses.

Apple Hints at Behind-the-Scenes Blockchain Work in New SEC Filing
https://www.coindesk.com/apple-sec-filing-hints-at-tech-giants-blockchain-interest?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=coindesk&utm_term=&utm_content=&utm_campaign=Organic%20

Apple has submitted what might seem like an arcane filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) – but the document contains tantalizing details about the computing giant’s interest in blockchain tech.

The document – entitled “Summary of Apple’s Commitment to Responsible Sourcing” – details the company’s commitment “to upholding human rights across its global network of suppliers that support the manufacturing of its mobile communication and media devices, personal computers, and related accessories.” Making note of both its internal work on this front as well as its relations with supply chain providers, the document is largely a description of Apple’s efforts to ethically source materials for its popular products like the iPhone.

Notably, however, the Feb. 15 filing makes mention of Apple’s involvement in the drafting of “Blockchain Guidelines” for the Responsible Business Alliance’s Responsible Minerals Initiative. According to an RBA press release, those “voluntary guidelines” were published in mid-December of last year and “represent a first industry effort to define a common set of principles, attributes and definitions for the application of blockchain technology to support mineral supply chain due diligence.” The press release makes no mention of Apple’s involvement, but the tech firm is listed as a “Company Member” on the effort’s official web page.

The SEC filing also notes that in 2018, Apple chaired the board of the RBA and participated in a number of its internal committees and working groups, including “the blockchain team.”

When iChain?

These details aside, the filing doesn’t touch on what Apple-watchers might most want to know: whether the Cupertino colossus is on the cusp of joining the growing ranks of tech giants that are offering some form of blockchain-related service. Specifically, if Apple is working on some kind of supply chain-focused solution, it hasn’t (yet) shown its cards.

A request for further information about Apple’s work with the RBA was not returned by press time.

As Fortune’s Jeff John Roberts wrote in December, the question of whether Apple will take the proverbial plunge is an active one, with many in the industry contending that “it’s going to take a tech giant like Apple to make blockchain payments work at scale.”

There is demonstrable interest internally, to say the least. The crypto space has seen Apple veterans join industry startups, and in December 2017, as CoinDesk reported at the time, a published patent filing from Apple detailed a proposed program to certify timestamps by combining aspects of blockchain technology with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
4624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T. Woodley vs K. Usman – 02/03/2019 on: February 14, 2019, 11:45:29 PM
Woodley will handle Marty Usman with no threat.
I predict victories for both Woodley and Funky Askren come time to fight.

Last day before the All star match.
I reckon the home field teams will take advantage of this situation.
ORL -4 or ATL-8 which is a better pick?   Want some nBA action before the day is over

The Future Of Blockchain: Fintech 50 2019

https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeldelcastillo/2019/02/04/top-crypto-blockchain-fintech-companies/?utm_source=twitter&utm_source=social&utm_medium=social&utm_medium=Hootsuite&utm_campaign=content_swap_coindesk&utm_campaign=#341c96ae6a9c

As the price of bitcoin collapsed last year from a high of $19,000 to less than $4,000, skepticism fell over many other applications of blockchain, the technology that powers most cryptocurrencies by recording transactions without a central authority.

Much of the hype surrounding promises that sounded too good to be true is dissipating as reality and regulations set in. What remains however, are proven teams, flush with cash from mainstream investors, and increasingly, actual revenue.

Going forward, the blockchain selections from this year’s Forbes Fintech 50 2019 picks will undoubtedly form some unusual alliances as they evolve past competing against other blockchain startups, to competing in mainstream finance against long-established players.
4627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in Sports Betting on: February 14, 2019, 11:00:47 PM
Forget about it mate there is no winning strategy for sports punting.
The wise guy casino bosses and line makers are always ahead of the general public.
Heck even professional punters know this strategy wont work and they need to create their own.
This is why you dont see very many pro punters and most of them are selling their plays as the only real way they make an income.

4630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are you playing Poker? on: February 14, 2019, 04:54:39 PM
I only play at fiat casinos because I do not trust people behind a computer and all of the bots.
Last year I was big fan of playing BTC poker until some weird things began to happen.
Cards coming up on the river that had a 20-1, 30-1 chances started hitting.
After I caught 2 horrible bad beats on the river card, I knew it was a fix and it was time to only play with fiat.

This has happened to me many times before and I was confused at first just like you are.
Not saying its something to not be concerned about but I wouldnt worry too much.
Often I have found ERC-20 tokens in my wallet as well and thought the same thing.
Sometimes random air drops occur that you forget you signed up for or people send to the wrong address.

4633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Deep Web on: February 14, 2019, 04:35:59 PM
BTC & Deep Web will always coincide and one can not survive without the other.
I have only visited the Deep Web one time and it was to purchase a licensing software not available in my country for a reasonable price.
I was a little scared that my transaction was not completely anonymous and for that reason I have chosen to avoid the Deep Web going forward.

Do people really think this tweet will start the next bull run?
Its been a positive week so far so maybe there is a correlation between the tweet and bull run we are in.

Barclays, Ripple Back $1.7 Million Round for Remittance Firm Using XRP

Ripple, Barclays and other investors have backed a $1.7 million round for SendFriend, a new remittance startup that will use the XRP cryptocurrency to move funds internationally.

Announcing the news on Monday, the New York-based firm said the Mastercard Foundation, MIT Media Lab, Techstars, Mahindra Finance, 2020 Ventures and 8 Decimal Capital also participated in the round. Barclays took part via its “Barclays powered by TechStars” accelerator program, into which SendFriend was accepted last September.

The money raised will go toward hiring staff, as well as focusing on community engagement and marketing, said SendFriend’s co-founder and chief executive officer David Lighton.

SendFriend, which said it was founded at MIT, aims to serve overseas workers from the Philippines, using XRP and Ripple’s xRapid product for cross-border settlements.

The firm explained how it will work, saying:

“XRP is used as a liquidity vehicle for cross-border payments, enabling SendFriend to circumvent the corresponding banking system and convert USD to XRP to PHP [Philippine peso] in a matter of seconds.”

Not yet live, SendFriend said it plans to launch in New Jersey soon, but will also be available in other U.S. states via desktop and mobile apps.

Ripple confirmed that SendFriend will leverage the XRP token in a release last week. Lighton said at the time: “The existing correspondent banking system is slow, inefficient and costly.”

In its funding announcement, SendFriend claimed that it will offer 65 percent lower fees compared to the industry average for international money transfers, as blockchain “replaces the frictions and fees of the banking system.”

Last week, the Philippines’ House of Representatives reportedly approved a bill that seeks to grant overseas Filipino workers a 10–50 percent remittance fee discount depending on the amount being remitted.

The Philippines is one of the largest Asian markets for remittances. Last year, the country’s diaspora sent back home $34 billion, according to a World Bank report from December.

4639  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: February 12, 2019, 07:48:22 PM
We really dont know if the GOVs will forbid cryptocurrency.
There are so many GOVs that are ok with crypto that its not safe to assume that GOVs will eventually not be ok with them.
If my GOV was to forbid crypto, I would just use a vpn service to get around their orders.

Well first of all congrads to the founder of Tweeter to give BTC a endorsement like this.
I am not sure how honest this man is since I do not know him personally but maybe he is just a BTC shill.
How do we know he does not have other coins?   I thought it is that if you have a lot of money you own more then just BTC.
