4641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 23, 2020, 12:10:41 PM
For me, breaking below $11, 000 can be the trigger for fall upto $9 000 or below.
That is really scary, any FUD later this month could be a reason, especially we are about to close on monthly candle.
But whatever happens, either we see $17,000 or $9,000 first, we still lot of time to accumulate more.
4642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: August 23, 2020, 03:58:26 AM
I also know some small traders who started to trade for years in stocks or forex but when they tried to trade in cryptocurrency, jeez, they are like WTF? But what I am amazed on them, they are positive and still believe that they will get back their losses in the future and also their emotion are the best and well controlled.

4644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: August 22, 2020, 12:31:33 AM
Additional, since we are in a Bitcoin/cryptocurrency forum.

"The first ever involvement of cryptocurrency in online gambling was in August 2011. It was a poker gambling website where all payments were made in Bitcoin." - Source

So, if this is true, then the last August 2011 is the first included Bitcoin in some gambling, especially it is on a poker.
It's kinda amazing, isn't it? Up until now, using Bitcoin in online gambling is continue to grow and for us gamblers who use Bitcoin, it's more become convienent and more comfortable.
4645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin on: August 22, 2020, 12:26:02 AM
We must bet on the reliable boxer, because analysis has a huge error once real fight will come. Meanwhile, most feedback are in favor to a fighter with famous record without even knowing what's the capability of the opponent. Much better if you could try watching their abilities before deciding which of the two would be a best choice.
Agree that analysis/predictions sometimes won't come true but disagree with you saying that it will have a huge error once fight time comes. If we are to talk about the abilities/capabilities of each boxers then their records will give you the fact and you may watch youtube videos if you want to verify.
That's why it's called prediction, it is only a prediction, not 100%. And that's why there is analysis, so it will help us GAMBLERS or add up also some points on how we select our boxer to bet on.
Especially in boxing, lot of unexpected things may happen, even the odds are really far, there are still posiblity for the boxer that odds does not matter or experiences, height or reach. Especially now, I am surprised why the odds is favor on Whyte, since Povetkin got more experiences and bouts compare to Whyte.
4646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 reasons I see $100k in next 2 years on: August 22, 2020, 12:06:50 AM
1. The 2020 Economic Crisis + Money Printing
2. Institutional investors continue to tip-toe into the market
3. The recent Halving plus just normal market cycle dynamics (meaning we're naturally in the upswing part of the cycle now)
4. Companies switching to BTC as their reserve currency (just saw the first instance of it this month, I would guess more will follow with at least a few percent of their cash reserves)
5. DeFi (raising the whole market but also locking away Bitcoin for use in DeFi)
The 5th one here is only a unique for me now.
We all know that the first one, we really experienced this for past few years but a little less. The DeFi thing is kinda new and I am excited and curious how it can be trigger the Bitcoin price, well, it's still not 100% sure for now.
For me, the most common and have more posibility is the block halvings of Bitcoin, since this is one of the important event on Bitcoin for me.
4647  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bounce Back is coming? on: August 22, 2020, 12:04:42 AM
(....)
Every of possibilities said here are likely to happen and in this moment it's quite hard to say which one is more likely. Although it seems to me that some further corrections are possible. I also don't trade at the moment and I think it's quite wise decision. Anyway, some patience is needed except for this one who really want to risk big
Yep, I think you made a wise decision there.
Trading on these price levels is like catching a falling knives. There are more better trade entries soon, patience is must.
The chart in the first post really said it all, and as of the moment, we are still creating more lower lows, and testing multiple supports.
4648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin on: August 21, 2020, 01:24:20 PM
Whyte Dillian only got the advantage of height and reach, while Alexander Povetkin got the record's advantage so, Alexander Povetkin is more experienced here.
So the odds kinda favor on Whyte Dillian.
As you also check on stake.com, odds are : Whyte Dillian 1.25 - 3.85 Alexander Povetkin.
I am surprised on the odds for Whyte Dillian, it is also kinda scary to bet on these kind of odds, kinda difficult.
4649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be best a new altcoin pegged to fiat money or to precious metals? on: August 21, 2020, 01:04:55 PM
For me, a new altcoin that will is unique and a problem solver.
Even what kind of altcoin you have, as long as it will become useful for other people or become a problem solver, it will become no problem.
Especially these days, people are just into cryptocurrency because of an easy money thoughts or just for investment. But they don't know what cryptocurrencies can really do and how it will help our lives.
4650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a good shape? on: August 21, 2020, 12:53:18 PM
If you check 2 years ago Bitcoin has indeed decreased, but if you ask about the current Bitcoin price, the current bitcoin price has always gone up very well, then what will you do after you know the current price of bitcoin, want to buy Bitcoin for your future investment or just want to ask about Bitcoin? because I do not know your purpose and purpose for asking about Bitcoin.
Well, we should also talk about the hashrate of Bitcoin for these past few years, especially on last 2 years.
We really soar high since 2 years ago, and this 2020 year is still the year of all-time-high of hash rate of Bitcoin, even we still not breaking the all-time-high. But this is so positive for Bitcoin, and I really admit that Bitcoin is in an extremely good shape.
4651  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: August 21, 2020, 12:47:36 PM
There's a whole speculation that stocks and bitcoin are somewhat correlate, in which as you have describe. But probably that's one part of the equation, investors are constantly shifting funds around and putting where it can grow.
(....)
On this part, what can I say is it is really difference on how the stocks and Bitcoin are correlate to each other. But it's right, only pure SPECULATION. This is also what I noticed before and keep asking about the correlate part of these two but as time goes by, I started to understand somehow they don't really correlate (for my own opinion).
For now, for what I am experiencing on Bitcoin, Bitcoin is just being a Bitcoin, a huge volatility, and parabolic run is always possible, just like what happened last 2017 end of the month to 2018.
4652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bounce Back is coming? on: August 21, 2020, 12:40:45 PM
If that trendline below will continue to act as a support of Bitcoin, a big possibility we can again see $12,000 or above.
Especially we are about again to see the monthly close candle for sure we can see huge volatility from here, either it will push again to $12,000 or a dump below $10,000.
Well, it's really difficult for now, that's why on current's price level of Bitcoin is not my trading zone as of the moment.
4653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Something unexpected needs to happen? on: August 21, 2020, 12:38:18 PM
Still difficult to accept we are about to explode above again.
I am a little bit afraid of another negative attack on Bitcoin, or any events that will affect Bitcoin, and it will cause another dumps.
What I noticed these days, a lot of panic sellers, even just a small negative news about Bitcoin, we can see some huge wick red candles.
What I am positive now is we are already above $10,000. We are already less than 50% before all-time-high again.
So if ever we will see an unexpected to happen, it's either a parabolic run again upto Bitcoin's all-time-high or a dump on below $10,000 again.
4654  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having loss is part of experience as a Trader on: August 21, 2020, 12:30:33 PM
Being a trader is really difficult, especially if you are just starting.
For sure, traders started to learn, especially online, watching videos or reading some articles online/offline.
But for me, having an experience on trading is really important, losing and winning experience. Because for sure there are some people out there quit trading after on how many losses they encountered and didn't try to trade again.
4655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Asset Insurance on: August 21, 2020, 12:17:44 PM
This is very useful for all the exchanges.
But the problem here is the transparency, especially it can be used for some corruption.
But we already saw some example like this before, especially in Binance before when there are some hacked happens or breach on Binance exchange, and Binance got Safe Asset Fund for Users (SAFU).
4656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For losing active traders, Indexing is for you on: August 21, 2020, 12:08:19 PM
~snip~
Though long term holding ain't easy as everybody thinks since you need to have atleast basic market knowledge and a good find of exit and entry point, but in contrary to your statement, holding is indeed the safest form of trading than short and day trading. Because you're just basically holding Btc for example, and wait for the price to go up to your satisfactory range.
Day trading is very risky, so does short trading.
(....)
I think, there are also lot of different between day trading or any kind of tradings that is on short term only compare to buying a specific coin and hold it for a long time, like years, decades or more.
Yes, you are right here that holding is much safe compare to day trading but the holding of a coin for a long time is also a risky, especially if you don't have a plan when you will sell or take profits, or take a loss, like on which levels or price will you sell your coins if a certain price is reached.
4657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about Aave (LEND) on: August 20, 2020, 05:57:08 AM
This LEND is really outstanding, especially after their ICO before. I thought this altcoin will join to some altcoins that lost after the ICO fever before the 2017 - 2018 bull run.
I remember, I also bought some LEND before, before it was become Aave, it's still LEND before, but I sold it immediately.
4658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: August 20, 2020, 05:20:39 AM
The 0.035 btc price will act now as strong horizontal support for now.
As you can see last August 3-4, the level was tested there, but after a week, it was broken and now it is acting as support.
Ascending pattern is really good continuation pattern. But if you will check the higher timeframe, and look the RSI, it's kinda oversold for now.

4660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 18, 2020, 10:41:34 PM
depending on how you look at it and individual strength. your strength, skills and knowledge will determine if holding works better or day trading gives you more profit. generally everyone will hold in one way or the orther.
This is kinda wrong mindset for sure. As OP said "more about".
Sad but reality, but for sure I believe that as time goes by, this will be change, cryptocurrency is very helpful for our daily lives, since we are still early, lot of people will not value this, but they will treat cryptocurrency as investment or a way to earn easy money.
