It's important to reconcile the scopes of perception here, considering that most of these scopes cannot see the other:

Peace out folks, and don't forget to set your bitcoinreminders (.com).

Nice that price is not crashed by 10k dumps. Big fellows starting to understand that BTC @ $1,000 will attract a bigger public. So, let's start that rocket then....

BTW: new USD arrived on stamp, Bitfinex users can buy again on stamp :-) Let the rally begin Wink

About time to get this over the $400 bump.
4644  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will You Sell when BTC Hits $1,000? on: November 14, 2013, 08:11:38 AM
The higher the price, the less the necessity to cash out large amount of coins, so the coin supply on the market will continuously shrink, thus create more upside potential

The deflationary melt-up.

I suspect more people still frame btc value to fiat value instead of the other way around. The fight for $1,000 will be monumental.
4645  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2013, 10:02:39 PM
Should I buy now or wait until the weekend for a fix or crash??
Just hold your horses for a month or so, major crash is incoming. Right now, is absolutely not a good time to buy, its on lifetime high !

Your message confirms that there is at least still $50 to go.
4646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2013, 09:58:52 PM

4649  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's getting frothy, and I'm dumping 75% of my coins on: November 13, 2013, 07:06:30 PM

Nobody knows what the top is... bitcoin investors are becoming so starry eyed now that some are believing it's an almost certainty that bitcoin is going to reach a 100x market cap (or more). Bitcoin is nowhere close to large scale adoption, there are far too many security and safekeeping issues involved for the average user. There are still many things that could happen between now and then that could cause bitcoin to fall to zero (or close).

The crash will be epic.
4650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Great New Crash (fulfilled) on: November 13, 2013, 05:02:16 PM
When this crashes, it will crash hardcore. It's insane!
That's why I sold my whole "temporal stash" today. Everyone went crazy with the prices today while China still is below the point of last correction.

China still is below the point of last correction?
On the 9th bid prices were above 2600 CNY, today it just passed 2500. Gox had $350 tops and its $390, it's a fake hype IMO.

The more excuberance, the better the crash.
4651  Economy / Speculation / Re: how high will BTC go by next weekend - 11/15/13 on: November 13, 2013, 07:29:51 AM
Bitcoin is still extremely expensive for a dream. I love a free market.
4652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GLX Galaxy or GLD Gold which one would I buy, an Analysis. on: November 12, 2013, 09:06:26 PM
Goldcoin, it's simply a name that people can relate to (Internet's gold).

Great. Will install it once it has matured some more (add your donation address as QR code to start post).

Edit: why does it need access to secured storage?
4654  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 12, 2013, 08:21:58 PM
If this holds, next days are going to be epic.
4655  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitCoin to Correct? Your Comments on: November 12, 2013, 04:24:01 PM
The thing that pushes us forwards is more and more business adopting Bitcoin as payment.

It won't become a real currency when it swings +/-10% in the time it takes to confirm a transaction. Bitcoin is completely useless for commerce as long as it's having days like this, it's a purely speculative instrument, nothing else.

The chance that a micro bitcoin payment is made twice is so remote, that any commercial party will accept the payment merely by it being registered in the network. That happens literally in seconds.

You don't understand or you don't want to understand.

A currency has to be stable enough to be effective. Bitcoin is volatile and it's a bad thing for businesses who sell goods and services.

The volatility is doing a lot of harm to bitcoin adoption by vendors.

The transactions have dropped off significantly:

You dont read or do not want to read.

My post only relates to the point of confirmation time. Nothing said about volatility. The volatility will vanish once more people adopt Bitcoin.

Next two hours decision time for todays rally.

You are missing the best part of bitcoin.

I sent 23 coins to each of the people who haven't received generation devcoins before to ensure that their address is correct:

Backa18,1A7mEa8zufBg2ajkQU8uezFKVvaxEqXr3g
Ninthaxis,1Hcx2ZWSA1nrp3HgAq8CFu4vyUzo1WAQCc
Wekkel,1MzbVj9PwcRCBK8thNTPg7x5R4BbsQgWAz

If you're on that list, please check that you received the coins. The receiver files will be made in several hours, and once made they can't be changed.

I hope I am not too late. My Devcoin Windows wallet has a problem with connecting. Switched to a Linux client but that necessarily comes with another address: 1NtbgQ61TH579orJQEpAZ4zGvgyzLX4L39

Updated my profile at Devtome as well.
