4641  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲ETTA Games🚀 | ettagames.io | Provably Fair | Dice Games | Free Faucet on: December 20, 2021, 04:37:38 PM
What do you mean by ETTA is back? Did your casino already exist before and you are re-launching it now? If that is the case, could you say why the casino was closed, coming back online now?

Thanks.
4642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUDS started against Bitcoin as asusual on: December 20, 2021, 05:03:44 AM
Don't worry too much about FUD and people falling for it. Let them learn by themselves through the hardest way they shouldn't trust any news attempting to weak bitcoin in front of investors' eyes.

Try to see this as an opportunity for yourself to buy the dip, always making sure you are in the exactly opposite direction FUDsters are going to.

This way you can't be harmed by their bad actions.
4643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is getting more bearish, what is the trigger? on: December 19, 2021, 07:27:05 PM
But what about now? is there another plan as the market continues to show resistance at 49k?

I seems to understand that the trend will be like this in the next couple of months more .

and we will be gaining support again in middle of 2022 or at least last quarter next year.
The best plan is to hold. We never know when a market tendency is going to change, so we must be prepared for that all the time.

And we have to be even more careful about our holdings, because there is a constant pressure from the market and from the news to make us sell everything. That is a big mistake whales want us to commit, so they can buy our coins cheaper and pump bitcoin price right after.
4644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing with dices on: December 19, 2021, 06:06:55 PM
See I remember watching video of a YouTuber who already did all of that, he made the arguments as well at least and he did not really gain anything and did loose a lot as well, therefore I do think you should have tried to look at the videos before tho.

Understanding mathematics and being good at gambling is quite different, counting cards is one of the thing that you can compare to it but here in the dice using the martingale which does not work and we all know that, that's why I think it would be futile making analysis regarding that.

I think most people associate gambling with mathematics due to the probability of winning on a certain round. Though some may be arguably accurate, I still doubt that there may be an application or solution that would give you absolute results.

Playing dice, on the other hand, totally relies on luck due to its nature being primarily random. Unlike card games where you can at least minimize the risks or somehow predict the cards, in dice the only factor that you can derive such is from the moment you throw it on the table.
Mathematics can only show gamblers they aren't going to win on long run when playing dice and for the smartest ones math can be useful when managing the bankroll in a more efficient way, and that is all.

Actually dice game use mathematics against gamblers to have a small advantage over them, through the house edge and that is an immutable fact.

Usually when gamblers are newbies they really think they can defeat the house by using methods like the one presented in OP. Once they acquire some experience these thoughts and beliefs disappear.
4645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the Ponzi Narrative on: December 18, 2021, 10:59:55 PM
Obviously late investors won't be benefited by bitcoin price fluctuations like early ones were, but it doesn't mean once this day comes bitcoin will become useless and disappear, like any ponzi schemes around.

Bitcoin will keep being used as virtual currency and as a method to protect our patrimony against inflation and abusive regulations from local governments over our money and properties.

However mutual trust from adopters is a must, otherwise what I said above won't work...
4646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing with dices on: December 18, 2021, 06:47:59 PM
I'm betting 0.0005 dogecoin as a basebet, so as you can imagine it doesn't make an awful lot of money short-term, but 150-200 dogecoin a day isn't that bad. I'm building up the bankroll so I can bet more and more with time.

I'm not a genious when it comes to math, but I'm using 150 dogecoin as "the bankroll" every day. Meaning if it does go bust I have to make up for it with some of my earnings vaulted.
You have set a loss daily limit (150 doge) and that is a responsible move that should be done by every gamblers, congratulations for this. However, it's not going to prevent you from losing money on long run. That is inevitable and will happen as the days go by while you use this method. By executing your strategy you will see your total bankroll decreasing slowly, due to the house edge of the casino, and at some point you won't be able to cover the 150 doge losses from some days with the profit made during another days.
4647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc hodlers vs short time traders on: December 18, 2021, 04:48:07 AM
DCA is a strategy that works for bitcoin, because the currency is getting more valuable on long run, but it's risky anyway for short-medium term investors, because they may buy some coins during an ATH followed by a bearish market which might last some years.

So in my opinion, a DCA strategy must be followed by a passive income from the bought bitcoins as well. This way, even though the investment in bitcoin stays negative for a while, it will keep generating extra income in a daily basis, as many sites offer us this possibility.
4648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: December 18, 2021, 01:36:28 AM
If we think about this issue widely and consider even the qualifiers phases, almost every countries already participate the world cup, but most of them are eliminated in the first stages.

It's hard to change the currently model, because the more teams you add to the main phases, the more expensive the event becomes, without any guarantees the performance of the participants or enjoyment of the public will improve.

I also believe that opening up the opportunity for more teams to qualify wouldn't change the end result much.
What needs to be done is to ensure that each continent's qualifiers are as fair as possible to give opportunities to all teams.
However, like the last Olympics, we've seen several teams and little-known athletes win medals, who knows and who doesn't have a similar surprise at the World Cup Footbal!?.
Fairest results as possible look a good idea. To ensure that I believe every team should play against every other teams (at least inside a same continent) and only then their performance could be rated.

Because what happens is that some teams are just lucky to enter weak groups where they outstand every adversaries, while there are superior teams in stronger tier A groups which end their participation in the competition faster than they should without winning any merit for their effort.

It can totally changes the championship's results by the quarter finals sometimes. That is really unfair.
4649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: December 17, 2021, 11:09:58 PM
I have feeling if someone want to cut European teams from World Cup then surely he doesn't know about soccer and passion of this continent about soccer.

As an alternative, the possibility of opening more places in the World Cup has already been discussed. But then there is the problem of the calendar, which is very tight for European competitions. There is not much more free space for more competitions/games.

Now, I believe that sooner or later this model will change. Also because there are already many criticisms, even from European federations, to the FIFA competition model.

4650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: December 17, 2021, 08:50:31 PM
I don't think any altcoins have potential to overcome bitcoin price for the next decade at least. As I see, people who invest in altcoins mainly aim faster profit percentage, although it's not a guarantee, because bitcoin has the same potential of surprising the market just like we saw during the last bull run which pushed it to a new ATH.

Personally, I buy and like altcoins which offer extra benefita besides speculative profit opportunities. I mean altcoins which have a real use, like some NFTs and some tokens which offer benefits inside crypto platforms, such as FUN token.

Ethereum is also a must as a safe currency to hold money when dealing outside exchanges, inside ETH platform, since bitcoin isn't an alternative.
4651  Other / Archival / Re: Are Banks afraid of Crypto adoption? on: December 17, 2021, 07:39:10 PM
yep imo they are very scared of crypto...

Until now crypto is still a hot discussion in various countries, pros and cons occur everywhere, seeing the current situation, banks are afraid of people adopting crypto so that they lose the money they have been enjoying.
These are the central and public banks which benefit themselves from the precarious inflationary system of fiat currencies.

But not all banks think like that. I believe many private banks would like to adopt cryptocurrencies into their services platforms, also operating like exchanges, because it will mean an extra profit for them.

In the case of central and public banks it's not interesting because they are direct concurrents to cryptocurrencies. If investors move funds to bitcoin and altcoins it means the traditional investments which benefit the establishment will lose demand, and consequently value.

That is why USA Federal Reserve is so worried about attracting investors again through better interest rates.
4652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I had bought bitcoin 10 years ago, I would have been a millionaire: Not true on: December 17, 2021, 06:16:39 PM
I'm not sure about this, because early investors didn't need to sell their entire holdings to make x2 or x3 profit. They could have just sold some percentage of their investment, splitting the total sum into short, medium and long term quotas. I believe there aren't many of those millionaires nowadays simply because there weren't many early bitcoin adopters, and at same time many of them were probably already millionaires back then, because bitcoin wasn't something widely advertised among laymen. It was the technical, professional guys (not only in informatics, but in finances too) who were there since the beginning.

It depends on your bitcoin bankroll size. The more coins you hold, the higher the impact extra interest feature will have over your daily income. That is why I compared it to another investment platforms.

Wheel of Fortune free spins are just an extra bonus.
Some people will never understand how a whale could make insane returns and could recoup it back so quickly. Plus in the long term it is beneficial for everyone. We are talking about yearly 4% to 6% or so return give or take at the max, which means if you are a person with 100 bitcoins, then you will make average 5 bitcoins per year, meaning around 0.40 bitcoins per month, and at this rate that is around 20k per month.

Yes, having 100 bitcoins means you have 5 million dollars, and making 20 grand a month with that is not really that shocking for some people but it is still quite a lot compared to most interests in higher level nations and that is just USD part. If you can consider how much bitcoin will go up as well, that is just surreal to imagine how bitcoin could become 2x more and your amount will suddenly turn into 10 million and 40k per month during that period as well, so it is not just the income, but the increase that helps you get rich as well.
Indeed. And the interest is compound, what means if you don't touch the money, you will also earn more and more income each new day, besides the increasements in bitcoin price. It's a much superior option to a traditional saving account or a fixed income investment (at least in comparision with my country).

The example you gave above is the dream of many around, including me. Unfortunatelly very few will achieve that because it's really hard to save 5$ million dollars considering the average wages and the expensive living costs for everyone. Anyway, I would be happy to be able to reach 1/20 of that monthly income you pointed in your post...

Actually FUN is one of the most useful altcoins I've found so far. The premium benefits totally worth the investment for bitcoin holders and considering how cheap they are, it's even more interesting than tokens which offer similar benefits for investors such as Crypto.com, Nexo and Celsius ones.

A VIP program where you earn a few cents per day isn’t much of a use.
It depends on your bitcoin bankroll size. The more coins you hold, the higher the impact extra interest feature will have over your daily income. That is why I compared it to another investment platforms.

Wheel of Fortune free spins are just an extra bonus.
4655  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in 2017 again? How do you feel about the price chart today? on: December 15, 2021, 08:08:27 PM
In my opinion, the 2017 phenomenon when the bitcoin price dropped sharply after touching the ATH record, will not be repeated. I see a very bright future for the bitcoin price. Although there have been some recent price corrections from the ATH level, but at least the bitcoin price won't drop to the $30k level again. I am sure that in the future the bitcoin price will continue to experience significant increases and will set a new ATH record again.
I think the price decline that occurred in mid-2021 was almost the same as the price decline that occurred at the end of 2017 or early 2018, only this year the bitcoin price recovered very quickly and resulted in bitcoin reaching ATH 2 times in one year. a very sharp price decline like early 2018 is still very possible, but of course after that the bitcoin price will recover very quickly as has happened this year.
I think we can say the market is less volatile now than after the bull run of 2017. If the scenarios were identical, bitcoin would have already crashed right now. However, what we see is bitcoin fighting to keep above 41,000$ all the time, while hitting or surpassing 50,000$ sometimes.

Furthermore, crypto market is more mature and solid nowadays. As the number of adopters grows and the coins are split among more investors' hands, the tendency is that a 2017 scenario doesn't happen again, because it will be less vulnerable to whales manipulation.

FUN is lagging well behind most of the market. All the hype is with NFT, play-to-earn, and metaverse projects right now. Those are areas worth exploring for the FUN developers if they want to add some more utility to the token.
Let me add more #Metaverse Shitcoin ~XD.

Man, every coin/token have their own utility not always just follow the trend. Soon or later, we will see this trend is dead. IMO, based on the price activity "FUN" on-good condition even for only token betting.
Actually FUN is one of the most useful altcoins I've found so far. The premium benefits totally worth the investment for bitcoin holders and considering how cheap they are, it's even more interesting than tokens which offer similar benefits for investors such as Crypto.com, Nexo and Celsius ones.

And also because Freebitcoi.in doesn't enforce users to have a % of FUN proportional to their total balance's value, like the another platforms mentioned.

The FUN amounts to unlock extra benefits are fixed for everyone.
4657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Ride Predictions on: December 15, 2021, 06:19:23 PM
Try to collect maximum informations as possible about the background of the horses and the jockeys involved on the competition.

If a particular horse has ran recently it's not a good idea to pick it, because it will be probably tired, slowing its performance on the next game.

Also check the track conditions and the weather for the horse racing day. Knowing all these items you can conclude if it worths to bet on the currently competition or if it's better to wait for a better opportunity next time.
4658  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1XBIT campaign could be the next longest running campaign even with scam reports on: December 15, 2021, 01:24:56 AM
As far as I know, representatives of 1xbit claim that 1xbet is a separate company. But it is possible that the owner is the same.
If it is the same capital group, it means that it is one of the largest casinos and bookmakers in the world.
I don't doubt they are one of the largest bookmakers in the world, what becomes even more surprising they are in such important position, while behaving in a shady way with their customers.

I know you promote them and everyone needs money for a living, but don't you feel bad for those who have been scammed by 1xbit and 1xbet?

As I see there is a wide variety of cases against their brands, and not only isolated accusations, like the ones against another casinos. So it's not possible to say it's persecution.
4659  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if $70k was Bitcoin ATH for the year? on: December 15, 2021, 12:01:35 AM
It would be great if bitcoin were able to reach 70,000$ this month yet, although the market doesn't look propicious for that today. The reason is said to be pessimism among investors who may leave the crypto volatile market for the safer traditional USA market, which is going to have its interest rates increased by the Federal Reserve to attract investors. The meeting to define this measure is going to happen tomorrow (or even today, depending where you are localized).

After the meeting we will have a conclusion of the USA economical scenario impact over crypto market and bitcoin, more specifically.
4660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Viable Altcoin for the moment on: December 14, 2021, 11:03:11 PM
Better to stick with the top 3 crypto market's currencies only. In times of uncertainity it's not a good idea to risk money with secondary altcoins. They are highly influenced by bitcoin price, what means if bitcoin falls, they fall together, with the difference on long run they don't have the same solidity of bitcoin (and maybe ethereum).

Binance coin looks also interesting, but keep in mind it's intrinsically linked to a centralized exchange. If something on that platform goes wrong, all BNB's investors will suffer, even during a bull market where every other currencies will be green meanwhile.
