4641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 06, 2020, 10:36:05 PM
Not a big deal for me since implementing the online feature of certain land-based casinos is not a new idea.

Maybe I just want to know, what games are supported online by these land-based casinos? For sure it's not all of their games. It's not mentioned in the article.

Good question, I was under the impression, based on the article that somehow only sports betting are going to be accepted, this is just my opinion. How about those who want to play like slots or table games like baccarat or black jack. Because if what they are saying is that accepting bets online from a land base casino, then it should be the whole nine yards.
4642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger owners lose 1.1 million XRP!! on: November 06, 2020, 10:05:02 PM
How is it possible today to lose so much money with a phishing site, you just have to be carefull and make sure you are on the right website!
It's because he didn't check everything before clicking that phishing site until it was too late when he lost a whopping $1 million already. That's why we really need to think twice before clicking any link specially crypto related in our email because we really don't know for sure if that is a phishing link or not. Reminders are good, but if you are a Ledger user and not taking notes or reading them, then one day you might fall for this attempt.
4643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: USDT Mixing and it's family of other coin scam attempt on: November 06, 2020, 09:38:42 PM
You really have to give this criminals a score of 10 for their creativity, I haven't heard of USDT tumbling services though, but with the rest of those coins and the days that it has been existing without someone reported it? there could be some noobs who might fall for this scheme already.
4644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading hours on: November 06, 2020, 09:14:18 PM
Even though crypto-market is open 24/7 I've noticed that trading at certain hours (depending on time zone) is more active with more volatility. Sometimes it's right after US stock market opens, sometimes it's on weekends.
What do you think the reasons?

Yes, you are correct, I also observed this kind of movement, you can also add that if US stock market closes and the Asian crypto market opens, there's also a lot of volatility. I've noticed as well that when the Asian crypto market opens, there will be a huge surge in price because obviously, Asian whales and traders are very active and you can take advantage of that time frame and situation to at least squeeze some profits if you're a day trader.
4645  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russian authorities make rare arrest of malware author on: November 06, 2020, 08:54:21 PM
I think it we are going to based on the article, he was identified as a "Russian", and probably well known as well with the malware he create and the effect of it globally. @zasad@, thanks for your viewpoint, but it seems the issue here is that the author himself targets his homeland and that's why he is arrested. I'm just thinking that he can get away with jail time if he started to cooperate with the government. Like being one of their state sponsored hackers now? What do you think? So that his knowledge can be used by the Russian government, they doesn't want this kind of their local talent goes to wait, isn't it?
4646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Folgory Exchange Bounty on: November 05, 2020, 10:46:39 PM
May I suggest that you open a thread here: Scam Accusations so that it will get the needed exposure and so that no newbies can fall for this scheme.

I'm sorry for your lost though, that is still 2 ETH, and when the price is really going up this days, sometimes it really painful to see that our hard earn money is stolen by these criminals.
4647  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold mine at 14100 dammitttt on: November 05, 2020, 09:33:07 PM
no no no and noooo
I sold a lot of my coins at 14100 thinking it will go a bit down and I will buy it back with profit

well now the btc is 15200 am I out? should I buy it back at current rates? or are we excepting down movement anytime soon? Sad(

please say something will make me feel better dammitt

and sorry its my first post but I check and read a lot of your messages almost everyday

How can you sold when obviously we are making a good run, and specially that Biden is winning, we should expect that the price will continue to rise in the next coming months, and others are predicting around $15k-$16k at the end of the year. Another expensive lessons to learn, as for buying it back, it's really up to you, hard to give financial advises here. Best of luck to your decision again, I hope that you learn from your mistakes.
4648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Haney vs Gamboa WBC World Lightweight Title on: November 05, 2020, 09:07:44 PM
Haney seems like a promising fighter but he is lagging behind the rest of the division. He is fighting the weakest competition right now and nobody takes him seriously as a world champion because he did not win his title in the ring. First he won an interim title and then he was elevated to regular champion, then he got injured and lost his title but then he was reinstated. We know that Teofimo Lopez is the real champion of this weight class and all these secondary titles are unnecessary. Hopefully they all fight each other and we get to see who is the best out of Lopez, Haney, Garcia or Davis.
This is just another step up on the competition, how can you say that he is fighting weakest competition when Davis fought Gamboa as well. He maybe one step behind, but for sure, just like what Davis this, after winning a fight against Gamboa, he level up, fighting Leo (but I don't know if you could consider it leveling up, as Leo is also a weak champion). Being said that, those young and talented players are just being set up by their managers to fight a cherry pick fighter, to look good. But we have to wait till everyone of them fight each other, boxing politics, and of course the money in the table could be a big factor.
4649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 05, 2020, 08:48:23 PM
Get ready fellas, it looks like 2021 will be the year we've been waiting for since 2017, PayPal CEO, Dan Schulman, disclosed its clients are signing up to be the first to use the company’s crypto services at an alarming rate. PayPal has started to permit 10% of its customer base to buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. What do you think will start happening from here on ? Huge adoption
So you don't consider 2020 to be bullish? The price of bitcoin is already over $15k which was around 3000 in the first quarter so I feel we are already in the year of 2017 like now so just make use of it now and try to make some profits then keep holding the remaining for the next level.
2020 is comparable to 2016, where it all started, and probably that's why the OP is looking at 2021 as the parabolic growth similar to 2017. In any case, specially those who have been in 2017 like me, totally noob should have gain experienced by now and should have stacking sats or investing on good alts in preparation for a dramatic bull run next year. It will be different though, as everyone is expecting new all time highs specially bitcoin and some top 10 alts.
4650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2020, 08:31:59 PM
Was just kind of curious if many of you also tend to get random calls or texts every time bitcoin goes on one of it's runs from family/friends/acquaintances asking you about bitcoin/how it works etc.  I'm also curious if you're getting more calls/texts this time around, or about the same as other rallies?  I found bitcoin back in 2013/14 so many of my friends and family members know this and I always get calls/texts during times like these, often conversations from people I've not spoken to in some time. This conversation I think can provide a unique insight on where things might be heading..
Just a few messages on facebook from my friends, but from family members, yes, they will tell me that they have seen bitcoin in mainstream news and how the price is doing as of this time. I agree, this is the same as the last bull run in 2017, I got a lot of calls or text or messages in facebook or on my any other social media asking about bitcoin, so this is another sign that we are heading for another bull run. But it goods to tell others what bitcoin is and what it can do for them, financially.
4651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Volatility Expected to Rise After the US Presidential Election on: November 05, 2020, 12:01:14 PM
Comparing the price prior the 2016 election which is around ~$700, and then today at $11,500, yes it is very volatile, but bitcoin volatility is one trait of bitcoin so it doesn't count.  Smiley.

But not just bitcoin but stock markets has a good rally after the US election, so exciting times ahead. And with this news, https://cointelegraph.com/news/pro-bitcoin-candidate-wins-wyoming-senate-seat, what can go wrong?  Smiley

4652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on Track for USD 100,000 in 2025 on: November 03, 2020, 11:25:50 AM
We might as well read this thread: Stock-to-Flow Model: Modeling Bitcoin's Value with Scarcity.

Nothing new in the article, we have been predicting that bitcoin will break 6 digits or even 7 digits in the future, just a matter of time.
4653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 03, 2020, 10:54:29 AM
Most probably they still have that mentality and wanted a full 3 minutes per round. It could have many advantages specially if either one of the two are trying to win the rounds. However, we are in the pandemic and safety protocols are the first thing in mind. So no need to complain from the organizers, there's a lot of things that can happen in 2 minutes, they can either relax for the first minute and then goes for war in the last minute.
4654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: john mcAfee pumps crypto from prison, denies tax fraud and murder on: November 03, 2020, 10:08:54 AM
Regardless of where you stand with taxation, he absolutely committed tax fraud by definition. Best of luck to him though, I suppose -- I'd also rather be jailed in Spain than the US.

I'm not an American, does this actually happen in America? “If extradited, I face 35 years in prison for multiple counts of refusing to file tax returns. Had I chosen armed robbery, I would’ve received 5 years maximum. You tell me if it’s just.” and he is pretty confident that this will not happen.

I'm not a fan of McAfee but what he said is quite interesting for me this time.
He probably just exaggerated things, just like what he did on 2017 tweeting ICO scam projects and him racking $100k per tweet. Anyhow, good riddance to John, it's time to face the music once he gets extradited in the US. He is lucky that he has access to mobile phone while he is in prison and can still do his regular ridiculous tweet, which I think won't help him that much in his tax evasion case.
4655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 02, 2020, 07:44:36 PM
I don't think there is just a one rule to cover everything, and even if others are practicing safe bankroll management, you can still fall sometimes that you want to bet even more than 1 stake because you feel the urge to (just like the majority of the gamblers are). Similar to when you are going to a traditional base casino, before playing you always tell to control yourself, but in the end those bank roll system you put into place are thrown out of the window, because your bet are affected by our emotions already.
4656  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin cross $15k in end of 2020 on: November 02, 2020, 07:23:37 PM
Prices don't go in a straight line so expect that there will be retracement and pullbacks that may happen, there is currently a parabolic move in the bitcoin and for me it is a sign of weakness if there will be no consolidations that may happen to the price. If there will be a long consolidation above $14,000 levels then there is a high possibility that the price may reach $15,000 and even more. There is currently hype in the cryptocurrency market and it is the reason why a lot of investors have an eye on bitcoin. The buying pressure is still high and it is the reason why the price is keep moving up.
In any market, there's no such thing as a parabolic rise, bitcoin has proven this and although we are close to $14k-$15k, it might take some time to achieve this and definitely there will be retracements and pullbacks along the way. And right now, we can't get over $14k, there seems to be a big wall in front, so expect a wild price fluctuations, not unless we have some news again like the Paypal hype or more institutional money flowing in. We need to wait for that $15k.
4657  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAKE dice2.win on: November 02, 2020, 07:00:10 PM
I am not so sure why they cannot do anything about the fake website, is there any legal entities where they can report the fake website
so it will be penalize either it will be shutdown by the web host or any similar action that they can do.
I think they can do that, reporting it directly to the domain registrar as others are doing and it will put more weight and pressure on the domain registrar because the one that should report it is the original website themseves.

Because not all the players can be reminded especially the new comers therefore they must do something about it if they are indeed serious
in taking out those fake websites aside from their statement that they can do is to remind only the users not to fall for any schemes. For OP,
you've done good so there will be less victims that will fall to this fake site.
It's really hard to distinguished if you look at the fake and real website. Very very similar in design color and everything, 99% copycat except for the subtle difference that @serjent05 pointed out.
4658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin demand and price on: November 02, 2020, 06:50:21 PM
so if bitcoin not going up it means no reason to go it means nobody dont buy with higher price the btc.

solution here: lets make the buy orders with 20-50 100k  Grin  or what ever price we want per bitcoin if we want to sell our btc with 100k then we buy ourselfes btc with 100k per 1 btc.

lol:D

I don't know if you post this with sarcasm in mind or if you are really serious about this so called strategy.  And I thought you are more intelligent than that. That's not how the market works, and I'm sure traders know that you are just setting some traps and no one are going to bite on it. But I do agree that there is a huge potential for the price of bitcoin to be in the six digit, but it might take some time.
4659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: November 02, 2020, 11:30:11 AM
@Yaunfitda. It is the only fight to organize especially after the way Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua showed their superiority over Wilder and Ruiz.

Also, who would like to watch a trilogy? Maybe only angry Wilder fans hehehe.
We can't discount that fact that there could be fans of both side wanting to see a trilogy to really settle the score between the two. However, since Wilder opted not to fight Fury and with lots of excuses from both camp, we might not see this trilogy in years. Fury's camp have denied the accusations, so where do we go? let Fury and Joshua fight next and let Wilder choose his own opponents for his next fight, easy peasy.
4660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New way to cheat with Bitcoin! be careful on: November 01, 2020, 10:43:42 PM
Perhaps the OP hasn't visited the Scam Accusations. I will advise you to go to that board and see it for yourself have many scam attempts similar to this one has been exposed by a lot of members. So yes, this is not new, just recycle methods to target noobs who will see this as an opportunity to earn easy money, but it is not.
