Pretty cool actually, but yeah, very important question is how to prove provably fair? I do like market betting and have seen places do it by just plugging into an exchange API but the trick here is how do you prove that it follows it completely and there is no lag, etc? I foresee flash crashes also causing issues.
4642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Extortion Attempt on: June 11, 2020, 01:02:25 PM
I know it is easy to assume these are all scams but the problem of why victims do give in is because they have this natural nagging feeling that What if he's right? So to allay these fears, simply ask him: send me one proof of a picture of what you have on me and I will send you the ransom.

This also will help police as he could forget and send you a pic or screenshot with his digital stamp on it;)
4643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 11, 2020, 10:34:00 AM
Alphonso Davies is a big surprise because he was not grown and trained to become a swing back but now he is one of the greatest ones in the position.

I always feel like the era of players from North America is gone for the European leagues. Not that there are no great players now but even when we talk about Christian Pulisic, he was good, but then when he moved to England he became really poor to the point no one even talks about him now. Davies could be the same, but let us not put more pressure on him:)
4644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when someone says "Do your own research!" on: June 11, 2020, 10:01:39 AM
Sort of agree with pawanjain about not enough sources but to me,,, it is quite pointless to teach people how to do their own research, because the whole DYOR means that you should be looking for your own sources and info, and then come to your own conclusions. It is your own money after all.
4645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 11, 2020, 08:49:53 AM
No disrespect to any club (my club Chelsea included) but judging from the way this current season has been going before the stop due to the pandemic. Only Manchester City are capable of competing head to head with Liverpool for next season trophy and the competition would definitely become boring without them playing. You could see how this season was just one sided which one of the major contributor to that happening is due to Manchester city not having a fit squad unlike their previous two seasons.

The two year ban is enough punishment and won't want more punished especially in the premier league. I want to enjoy next season like that of 2018/2019 season and not rewatch another boring one sided season.

Well, the problem is if we allow City and Liverpool like this, and we do not do anything about it, then we might become another La Liga of Real/Barcelona.

Actually we have to look at ourselves. You Chelsea and me Spurs. Chelsea need to stop spending for the sake of competing and spending for long term view. Spurs need to spend better as well and really bring our youth up and fix squad mentality which is so poor.
4646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investment plan by chance on: June 11, 2020, 08:03:27 AM
The hell just happened,,, haha. It sounds like you just made an investment into a ponzi or a hyip,,, and got lucky. This had nothing to do with patience but with luck, pure gambling. In fact if you were more patient you would have become the victim of a hyip exit scam.

I mean, daily investment with 15%?
4647  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest, now with .ONION address on: June 11, 2020, 06:53:37 AM
In reference to above posts: agree the speed could get an upgrade,,, but not if it costs too much. I think the site should just grow in accordance with users/volume.

Do not agree with the interface upgrade. I actually really like the way it looks now and it makes Yolo stand out, and the autoplay is a lot more complex than it looks.

I did ask about stats previously, if there were a way to make that more advanced would be great!
4648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy these altcoins!!! on: June 11, 2020, 06:22:58 AM
LINK is the altcoin to buy

It doesn't matter whether ETH, EOS, TRX, ADA, etc. become the main smart contract platform

LINK will connect all of them to offchain data

Keep reading a lot about this Chainlink but I still do not think it will take off. A great idea in all aspects but even a Bitocin-Ethereum bridge which was proposed has not taken off, I really do not see the point of adding other platforms that are not really experiencing much utility.
4649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 10, 2020, 01:41:44 PM
No way Man Utd are getting €100,000,000 for Pogba with such a short amount of time left on his contract. They need to take a fair price or lose him for nothing next summer. I am close to 100% certain Pogba will not be a United player next season.

I keep rolling my eyes about this news. Only Messi or Ronaldo would command that price, but not at their current age,,, so only Neymar is the true player worth that much but post covid? No one will spend anything.

See Coutinho at Barca they paid 140M and cannot even sell at 100m so how about Pogba? A guy who has not proved himself.
4650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did hex already do 100x in 2020? on: June 10, 2020, 01:04:49 PM
I don't know much about this project but I surely heard a lot about its massive price increase; it can be seen as hype or it can be seen as there is something different the team is doing which could entails the type of use case as well as working products they have. Whichever it is that is driving the token price I think the team did played their card well, however what matters is long growth and if the team will be able to maintain such. Lastly irrespective of the massive growth let due diligence be done especially for those who are thinking of holding for long.

Good marketing and good hype, plus a very complex system that looks like in theory it could do well,,, so that is their secret of success, especially because the minimum lock period to earn more IIRC is 366 days or something.

But when the dumping happens,,, I will definitely see what happens.
4651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 10, 2020, 11:56:41 AM
The presence of supporters always makes a difference for players. When the team is in a state of lagging several goals, it is the supporters who can encourage the host players so they can get up and turn around. Apart from the fatigue of the opposing players, there is a desire that those who come to the stadium do not go home disappointed, this is what in my opinion can have an influence on team motivation. Even so, this is only one factor, the mentality of players on the field is the most important role in a match either without or with supporters. We'll see how the team plays in these conditions in the second match without supporters. Does this have a big influence on the home team, or is it more beneficial to the opposing team?

I think I mentioned it before but it works both ways. Positive and negative. If your fans love you good. If they hate you?

You know for sure supporters make a difference when you have a lot of them. For small teams maybe they do not feel it, unless the fans are close to the pitch where the sounds are louder, but try entering a huge stadium with tens of thousands of fans shouting and the feeling is electric for fans,,, imagine what it feels like for players!
4652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How Seaquake Offers Stability and Trade Execution Solutions on: June 10, 2020, 11:21:08 AM
While I would not necessarily trust EVERY trust rating out there, I think we can quite clearly say this one has a lot of merit,,, and absolutely no credible story that says otherwise.

Here are more bad experiences with Seaquake online and in case anyone doubts those sources, this is the legal court case brought against them: https://dockets.justia.com/docket/florida/flmdce/8:2019cv02365/368885
4653  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain lottery? How does it work? on: June 10, 2020, 09:14:37 AM
Here is a video of how BITWIN24 does their bitcoin lottery - https://youtu.be/6r1SvPbVrTE

Here is a gamble that might be interesting - They run a bitcoin lottery based on picking a series of numbers in BTC block hashes.

They have a jackpot up to €1,400,000 - Paid in Bitcoin

Check them out, I would love to hear some feedback and happy to discuss.

Checked it out but as soon as I saw "lottery" with "masternodes" I switch off. I have seen SO many types of lottery and gaming type systems but people need to understand that us gamblers do not want to mix those types of things. I want a good gambling game, not to also mine or stake or whatever. Because I know for sure either the house edge goes up (or in case of lottery commission goes up).
4654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Picasso artwork sold for crypto on: June 10, 2020, 07:48:28 AM
Never heard of IDON tokens either. Quite a funny thing that an unknown altcoin goes to buy a Picasso, I do not think it is real though. A picasso painting is worth a lot of money and IDON costs 0 right now, so for sure the guy paid the seller real money and just used it as a PR stunt.

I bet you the owner just agreed to be part of the PR.
4655  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITCOINRUSH CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK - Best Margins - Est. 2013 on: June 10, 2020, 07:06:28 AM
oh wow,,, I had no idea bitcoinrush closed down. I had an account there actually,,, even played quite a lot and I think I withdrew everything last year but I do not recall anything about any closing down email. It just shows error time out. I would like to check my balance one last time there.
4656  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest, now with .ONION address on: June 09, 2020, 01:57:28 PM
Just paying attention to the last wager contest, about 3 times the prize pool added as bonuses to the guaranteed prizes for both BTC and LTC, but looks like ETH and DOGE wagerers beat the house during the last week.

I know I should know as I have been here for a while, but is there a way to add a timeframe to the game stats page? To see how much was wagered in each currency over a certain period?
4657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: June 09, 2020, 01:14:30 PM
I never saw it as safe not in 2017 with all the scandals becoming big and definitely not now when everything was seemingly getting out of hand with unlimited printing just like US dollar. Use it as a sort of hedge to hold value but never for too long. Need to also use it at an exchange you hope you can trust like Binance who insures your loss.
4658  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: June 09, 2020, 11:54:43 AM
Have you checked your email? Stake sent an email few days back about this EOS addition along with a small bonus as the celebration for this new added coin. A good bonus to start betting with EOS for those who do not own any EOS. Although I'm not really a fan of EOS and I do not use it too much, at least it gives me a new experience to gamble with EOS.

I got the email but it is just an information about the EOS addition, no bonus attached, so I guess it was not for every player in the casino:)

I am definitely not an EOS fan either,,, can never forget how the guy just copied the code and then launched ICO for a year;) But I guess people quickly forget about it and EOS is now a normal crypto:P
4659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DEX's with MILLIONS in volume, COULD make you stinking rich, here's why. on: June 09, 2020, 11:01:22 AM
I don't particularly like DEX exchanges, they are capitalist and annoying. They ask for a lot of costs to make sales, deposits, cancel orders and make withdrawals. This costs me a lot.  Angry

You clearly hardly know what a DEX is, because they are completely the opposite of your claims.

A DEX is a trustless, low fee exchange, with NO GEO-blocking, restrictions, or any other bullshit.

Well,,, he may be one of many who do not really understand what a DEX is but he does have a point in that many of them are quite annoying.

And I definitely understand DEXs that cancel orders it has happened to me a lot too -- the only difference in most DEX vs CEX is that they do not have control of your funds.
4660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: June 09, 2020, 09:16:26 AM
Too much difference in bookies odds used to be a thing of the past. I dont think that is much more applicable nowadays. Some shady or local bookies who might be hard to find have difference in odds, but use them at your own risk.

Not true. Just check it every day on oddschecker and you can still see a big difference. With boost of bonus price boost you can even see 10% difference which is a big amount ($100 means extra $10 per bet).

It is not about being shady bookie,,, it is just different juice and different odds and promos. Always shop around.
