4661  Economy / Reputation / Re: Roger Ver why is he red trusted? on: September 19, 2019, 10:53:31 PM

I think Roger Ver is gernerally a good guy and has done a lot for crypto, He worked his butt off to promote bitcoin in the early days and is one of the reasons that crypto has come so far.

Why can't we just let people have their own beliefs on what the block size to be, I don't remember Roger actually ever stealing money from anyone, I don't think he deserves those red marks.
I think it's a lot more than what you just said here.

What would you call a person who claims that Bitcoin = Bitcoin core and Bitcoin Cash, a shitcoin that is not more than 3 years old is the "Real Bitcoin"
He is busy misleading people on his bitcoin.com website into buying his shitcoin using the bitcoin name.

He totally deserves the negative tags
4662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: September 19, 2019, 10:29:52 PM
You can't really avoid scammers. They are found in every aspect of life.

What we have to do is to sensitize people on how to detect scam in the crypto sphere. Honestly, so many ICOs are just scam with people behind them looking to collect millions of USD with no working product. The sooner people realize this, the better for them.

Crypto world will still grow, with or without scammers
4663  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance legally registered at U.S, does Bitcoin will get increase? on: September 17, 2019, 01:15:58 PM
I read in some articles that binance now operate in US https://bravenewcoin.com/insights/binance-u-s-opens-account-registrations,
I thought US banned crypto, why all of a sudden they've adopted the system of crypto like Binance? Do you think, this will affect the market of bitcoin and crypto could be increase now?
Just like it did not affect the price of crypto when ban on US citizens came into effect. I don't think opening a new branch for US resident will bring in any effect too.

I am also pretty sure the new platform for US residents will also be having only assets that are legal and licensed to be traded by the US citizens so i am guessing the trade pairs won't be so much
4664  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping changes on some boards on: September 17, 2019, 08:09:05 AM

I am a good user, I come on here to chat in my favorite coins threads. and somehow I am unable  to "boost" the thread and no one else on here has the ability to see the thread to reply?? I will not longer use the platform.

Where is this so called "Boost Button" located anyway??? I do not see anything by my print button?Huh
Maybe you should take time to read the OP to understand the new bump format.
Your activity and earned merit in the last one year have a big contribution to your bumping power.

If you no longer want to use the platform because of this nice update, then you are free to go. The major aim of this implementation is to avoid spammy topic bumping which has been rampant in the past.

Nice finding you have there bud, But OP's name is Pamoldar (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=662330) and not Parodium (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1162397)
I know your eyes could have skipped the difference since the names look almost similar  Wink

The Parodium case might need a new thread or the Known alts thread
4666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: September 17, 2019, 05:53:32 AM
I opened a binance account over 1 year ago.  I'm American but I'm outside the US almost all year.  I did just a few trades on binance, nothing much.
As of now, US customers cannot log into binance with their US IP addresses?
Yes, US IP Addresses are blocked. this was effective from 12th/september/2019

What about those US customers who still have coins in binance?  Can they still withdraw?
Withdraw is possible. Depositing and trading is not possible

When you register, it does ask you what country you are from right?
Did it ask you for your address?  When i registered for binance last year, i don't remember if they ask me any of these questions.  My account is not verified.
No they don't. It's only when you are trying to verify your account to level one

I am outside the US at the moment and can log into binance.  So i can still trade while outside the US?
Yes

Is there a way to find out if i registered as a US customer when i created an account?  I do not remember if binance ask me any of this.  So is it fine keep my coins in binance still or withdraw the,?
It's only probably through your registration IP address since you have not yet verified your account as US resident. Registration IP address is not conclusive thou since some people use VPNs when registering

So sometimes if you break their terms of agreement, they may ask you to verify you account before unlocking it. This is rare but it could happen so it's better to play it safe and follow the TOAs

Binance is planning to launch a platform majorly for US Residents. Am guessing it won't have many coins and trade pairs like the main platform.

4667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 17, 2019, 04:32:12 AM
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has signed a new contract to stay with the club until 2023. De Gea was bought from Atletico Madrid in an £18.9m deal in June 2011.

This is a positive for his boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester united at large because i can't imagine how much disaster would have happened at United if De Gea had decided to leave the club earlier. He has literally been their pillar at the back for a number of seasons now.
4668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 16, 2019, 11:56:57 PM
Valencia were bound to lose and concede so many goals even with "Messiless" Barcelona.
They are currently very disorganized after the unfortunate sacking of the very Coach that helped bring back a trophy for them after along period against Barcelona.
Any team in La Liga would love to meet Valencia at this time of transition
I still don't understand how ungrateful some bosses or club presidents can be?

Imagine someone brings back the glory to your club theb a few days into the next season you just suck him without even giving him much chance

AFAIK, scams are not moderated in the forum.
Mods only usually get to ban/nuke brand-new accounts that try to spread malware or spam around... I have witnessed this as i have personally reported dozens of them

The Best thing to do in the scenario you observed is make scam accusations report and have the DT members tag/ Negative trust the scammer and his alts Tags and Flags can be of much help as people won't be easily fooled by what the scammer posts.

I believe you already did so

If you don't really care just about anything said about you or the feedback then why don't you just stop spamming Meta, seeking for attention?

What's the point of saying you don't care yet you keep coming back here 🤷‍♂️
Legit people know what they do, and they don't have to moan all over the forum over minor issues.
Minor issues? This forum is full of Legendary TRASH. I come back to defend myself and my business.  Does that make sense to you?
Yes Minor issue because you told us that you don't care... Or have you forgotten already?

This forum is not for you... Try somewhere else where you can advertise HYIPs/Ponzi schemes and no one will give two fucks about it. In here once you come with your shady business models, you get distrusted. That how it works
Because at the end of the day all those Ponzi schemes, MLMs, Matrices, Doublers,HYIPs or whatever you call them despite paying at first will eventually rip off some people who join later.
4671  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: trace track and monitor Cryptocurrency transactions on: September 15, 2019, 10:59:03 AM
There have been a few websites that i have seen that do this kind of thing, websites such as Bitcoin Address Lookup (https://bitcoinwhoswho.com) but such platforms entirely depend on how the community members identify and report addresses.

Sometimes people get scammed, and they won't even dig deeper to find out which address scammed them let along report the address.
Another problem is generating bitcoin addresses is pretty easy. A scammer or shady person can always generate another address if s/he wants to scam someone else and avoid using the old address that has been used for scam before.

You should also have in mind that scammers/shady people sometimes tend to use crypto mixer services and privacy coins to avoid getting tracked so to me when it comes to the crypto world. Tracking and monitoring transactions seems quite hard.

Because most of the times, you even don't know who is behind the address other than just seeing the transactions in and out of the address

i have all kind of evidence that everyone can access to see i'm legit. I don't care if i'm only a member, and i don't care if you refuse to understand my explanations.

4673  Economy / Gambling / Re: Jackbit | PVP Gambling - Free Coins - Fair - Fast & Secure on: September 14, 2019, 11:00:32 PM
PvP gambling approach seems quit interesting since most gambling and casino sites just offer the other very common type of games like Dice games, jackpots etc.
Just to test the website out. I will use some free bonus coins from the website and then bring some feedback here after a couple of days
4674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How using Tor Browser increases bitcoin theft? on: September 13, 2019, 11:57:07 PM
I find such a warning just bullshit probably just away of trying to make Tor browser less popular. LocalBitcoins just recently started to become strict on KYC so what i think they are trying to do is discourage people from using Tor so that their Online presence is easily traceable.
Some People lose bitcoins to scammers anyways so long as they are connected to the web and are so careless.

4675  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Apps for exchanging on: September 13, 2019, 11:37:56 PM
Your newbie only so better for you to use Coinomi because this have everything as a wallet then study Coinmarketcap like you can see a lot of trading site by this then about their volume and if your here i think don't use site with KYC like there's a lot here without it so better to use that than to trust them with your identity like where your place then more
But Coinomi used Shapeshift and Changelly for exchange for i believe KYC might be neede... or atleast there could be a maximum volume required to exchange before you are asked for KYC.
4676  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is 1xbit Scam? on: September 13, 2019, 11:26:39 PM
Update

Couldn't help it but notice that rahul_kumar was bumping and shilling another exchange turned scam.

Well!! Did you know? Recently i have read the bitquick review where i find it quite interesting, bitquick is one of the well known crypto exchange platform in the crypto market. as it is one of the cheapest crypto exchange to convert fiat into bitcoins.

The person behind the rahul_kumar is definitely Prateek_sharma just like i had tagged them earlier.

^Is it justified?
Yup, it is.
Bisq is awesome but so is Chipmixer.
One argument could be because Chipmixer have had one of the best long signature campaigns here so certain users particularly merited them in appreciation. It's no brainer, it's human nature to appreciate sometimes.
The signature campaign has done a lot to put keep them known atleast everywhere in the forum unlike Bisq

Another reason could also be due to their outstanding service compared to their competition like bitblender who have pulled out of the game.
4678  Other / Meta / Re: permanently banned on: September 13, 2019, 08:05:26 PM
It doesn't matter who was the first person or which profile was the first to use the Facebook profile link. Question is why are two bitcointalk accounts using the same Facebook profile?
When they use the same profile, it means it's the same person behind the forum profiles(thou sometimes people make mistakes to copy other people's social media links)
Some times ban evaders have been caught doing this.

It is a case of the month of feverreiro and OP has negative feedback left by you because of this case and if OP has not responded to this day is because he does not want to respond. I believe this is the case that someone must create a flag against OP
You are right.

They don't even seem bothered by the accusation and the feedback at all. I mean, if they were legit, they would fight very hard to maintain their reputation around the forum.
I think type 1/Newbie flag would do in this case.
4680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: What is Chartoken? The hottest financial investment project in September 2019 on: September 13, 2019, 08:33:53 AM
Your website is under construction and apparently it will launch in 31 days but you are here already informing us that the "Private Pre-sale" Just started today.

Why are you in a rush to collect money yet your website isn't even up?
How about a detailed white paper?
Do you think people will just buy tokens because of just a few paragraphs you put up in the OP?
