I was honestly thinking through the cards any second I had, Im definitely playing a bit slower then a few people more used to the speed of the games normally.

I was slightly late there, red devil avatar was me.    My nephew was born Friday and they wanted some deliveries to their house so few minutes late at the start my apologies.   Amazed I even lasted till the end, alot of luck and just forcing myself to go in.   Way faster games then Im used to but was good set of tabels, thanks to all who came.    One guy who was going to come with me had his wisdom teeth out (I didnt realise it done recently), ongoing recovery impaired his ability to put in the register password apparently so he got lost before the game unfortunately but he watched me broadcasting the game the whole deal.

Endpoint putting up a fight in some of their games, its not enough for a win but they doing some work.   Best success recently has been vs FNatic I think, I dont think I can go with an underdog bet for them or even 3 maps on this one especially.

A 2:1 score with astralis winning would be 3.55x which is worth considering.   1.5 for a -1 Map Handicap Astralis win, I'll go with that most likely.

4663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop comparing BITCOIN on 2017 & 2021. It will never be same again on: March 27, 2021, 09:16:49 PM
History rarely repeats itself, but it often rhymes or something like that :p   2017 was followed by a year of dollar rising which Im not sure we'll get, dollar is a bit higher in this moment.    I'd agree we'll generally see negatives in future beyond current optimism, my last look I thought 30k to 20 but that'd be a place to buy into.   That much alone would be surprise right now, if we go any further then the recent low it'll be a greater sell then any prior this year because we didnt exceed the 50 day average so far.   If we push past what people are hoping to be reliably bought then we have to repeat and reform the bottom prices, I reckon thats normal to do more then just only going up.
This weekend we're pushing past the weekly average, if it can stay confirming above there then its going higher but my guess is more ranged right now.

4664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin get back to 60K this week? on: March 27, 2021, 09:10:15 PM
I think it needs more time to digest before we speculate higher, very good rise recently but that was both meeting 50 day average and getting some buys from that prior measure of a bottom but also we head into a weekend which helps cease any further negative externally due to closed markets.    Next week is holiday week with some days off which I think means we dont especially sell for now, I'd say sideways overall rather then grand movements up or down.   The rise is good trade but volume is a bit lacking from what I've seen, i think we repeat recent action before any greater decision to judge strength and longer estimates should be taken.

I clocked up almost 20,000 lottery tickets just from the Wheel of fortune spins last week.   I topped it up more so it was over 20k but was quite an impressive haul just on free spins, of course I still need the actual good luck to take home the bacon but I presume if it happens once it'll be a nice bonus in future also.

I was correct in seing Bitcoin transform downwards but its 'only' gone to the 50 day average.   Since we've been rising so long the 50 day is actually quite high now so its not a large enough price movement to really win a bet on the monthly estimation to closing price on a monthly bar.    Short story it might not occur in time for a win (outlier) this time, it was a good attempt though no ragrets :p   Wed is the last day, mid week but also its a holiday short week and lower volume possible and that usually means we follow the train tracks.

How does crash get to near half a million, thats impressive.  Hope someone held that and got silly gains.
I have heard of this site briefly in the way it rings a bell but not sure I've ever used it previous years or not, the ability to deposit skins would be pretty useful so replying to the thread so its on my radar in future.   I consider csgo skins kind of parallel to crypto, a handy hedge to FIAT failures so hopefully this one will be useful for me.
4667  Economy / Speculation / Re: When tides change watch your towel dont get wet on: March 27, 2021, 06:06:48 AM
DXY is a measure of Dollar vs other FIAT and this means it doesnt have to alter Bitcoin at all as we are not following QE practise and other FIAT failure that mean there is no proper dollar standard in existence as each year its altered.

Dollar does run in line with investment and speculative sentiment which will alter the highest prices in Bitcoin as this is a growth industry not revenue or cash productive vs utilities or other safe investments for example.   The 10 year bond yield is rising which I presume raises the potential cost of leveraged plays against the dollar into alternative holdings such as Bitcoin so generally DXY will make progress in BTC much harder especially if a trend is established where as previously DXY was falling for almost a year and dependable in being a cheap source funding currency.

I dont think BTC is defined by dollar or it would represent nothing new, but all markets have a higher and low pricing to them like gearing.   The world global reserve system is based around dollar so theres a large amount of influence in play.   Try reading this long term commentators observations:
Quote
The US dollar continues to strengthen and that leaves us with an opportunity to highlight the bull case. DXY is having its best month since July 2020. The US week wrapped with softer than expected core PCE price index at 1.4% y/y vs exp and prev 1.5%.

At the same time, the eurozone is struggling to roll out the covid vaccine and on Thursday the ECB's De Guindos said H1 growth will likely be negative.

Arguably this is the most significant point, if EURO is weak then Dollar is likely strong.   The EU is failing in its policies that would lead into an earlier resumption of normal business, that means prior speculation of growth for 2021 is likely wrong hence a shift back to dollar over euro.
4668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Want to understand..... on: March 27, 2021, 05:54:48 AM
News is part of the picture and helps form sentiment in price but thats largely related to speculation and the frothy top prices to BTC.  Its probably actually more profitable to pay attention to the base price or lows that BTC forms and the trend there but thats also quite a boring picture formed over years.   Economics, trade deficits, fiscal budgets and monetary policy are relevant to dollar strength which will relate to a dollar price but I think ultimately BTC isnt about dollar specifically, FIAT perhaps but it has to make its own progress and justify itself with efficiency lacking elsewhere.

At present with dollar lame and limping with constant new supply its a poor definition of progress for Bitcoin.   People who write finance news do this across the entire industry, its free association and I presume raises views by including those who are already aware of other subjects.

bitcoin is purely based on supply and demand
Depends how you define that, quite a few will speculate on the price purely and never use the Bitcoin.   BTC resembles something of a commodity with global clearance and fixed supply, most commodities can increase production so this one spikes alot more but I also think its dangerous to ignore how many hold without actual usage.

BTC has dropped by 6.5% during the last 24 hours. 3-4 more days like this, and we are there.

Normally any drop will resolve to the upside at some point like pushing a balloon under water there develops pressure to return upwards also.   Its hard to spot the difference between trades closing from people ending their working day and real new trend over days or weeks, right now I think we are resolving upwards but maybe 54k it has to hold to invalidate that selling previous.  Generally it should be repeating now, its hit the 50 day average that could be its total down movement in theory.
4670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going down $50k soon, what's next? on: March 25, 2021, 08:39:13 PM
Its recovering slightly, see if price can confirm above 54k this would mark something different and perhaps a diminishing trend of selling.   There is some attempt upwards right now on a mid day basis:

Price staying at 52k or higher for 4 hours or more could be taken positively also.   Wider time frame, the lows for today are the 50 day average price so a reset equal to prior price action in this year.
4671  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 25, 2021, 03:47:13 PM
Depends on how the drop is defined as a year ago it was a good trade and quick a brief sell off to the extreme lows.   If you like trading then some people will definitely appreciate this occurring for the price difference they can realise in their trades.    A longer period would remove some confidence as to how this happens but a price of any asset can move to any level, depends on volume also and extreme events in price context.
I would quite surprised if we moved past the 200 day average for the whole of 2021 even if negative from now on that'd be quite alot to turn around and trade below.   I dont think we will just quite a few have got used to sugar high and think its always going to be that way, normal boring ever lower markets is just part of the weather pattern.
4672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic IV on: March 24, 2021, 11:59:31 PM
Looking at price right now its through 7 day average and not holding at monthly especially well either which makes its a reasonable call we do pullback to a greater extent to at least the 50 day average as occurred earlier this year on the initial sell off.   Thats quite alot of selling now but still not a move into grander amounts overall.
Its likely part of the larger picture in relation to euro weakness, ongoing virus concerns and some tightening of monetary standards limiting speculation for now.   Its still an elevated price thats risen for a great amount of time now which means even when lower its still far ahead of many long term expectations previous to this move, I long thought 200 day average would be what occurs but just 50 day is considered quite negative.

$300 freeroll this weekend, you and your pals might want to join this freeroll to get some sights on the site before depositing real money  Smiley

That does sound ideal introduction and yea I read the hands there wrong, I see the flush now.    They are all dufus so I dont know if I can get them to, its a no brainer offer to try out also depends if people are available but Im surprised lockdown situ hasnt been more of a boom in this way surely they will be around.
4674  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin get back to 60K this week? on: March 22, 2021, 11:59:11 PM
I'd like to see it revisit 50k with 50dma as it did in the harshest pullback of this year.   A proper pull back allows for air pockets to be resolved and a stronger recovery and ultimately higher prices, it may not feel like it at the time but so long as the action is regular with bid and offers made in some volume it helps price action confidence longer term.
4675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian casino in New York? on: March 22, 2021, 11:55:51 PM
I never heard of Native American casinos, is that even exist?

Its basically down to tax laws and so on, same reason a territory is significantly different to a US state and many live the majority of their time there for the tax benefits.   I dont know their character is especially different, its done for the legal advantages that they possess.

Canada has the same deal, anywhere laws might vary its a thing.  Gambling boats used to be a thing, they sail into international waters and play the game legally that way but I've no idea how viable each idea is right now as it varies over time and I thought USA has loosened up slightly.

controversial due to the opposition of the locals.
I can understand religious reasons but that means you dont partake personally.  Do casinos cause any crime or negatives to a community really, so long as the management works to exclude those with some kind of problem gambling its just gaming imo.
4676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 22, 2021, 11:39:09 PM
Its not a good idea to discourage in any way the smallest bettors, they are often going to be the newest most timid customers but importantly represent growth in the industry and across crypto.   The smallest elements in an economy represent the fastest and ultimately greatest growth, its part of why capitalist systems work in the first place and I reject the whole whale arguments to success in any system really.
Sure step 1 use large enough amounts of cash where it doesnt matter and I agree regular bettors dont withdraw too often anyhow but still I hope Bitcoin never forgets the bit part, its about efficiency really.   I was just posting elsewhere a slow option with lower fees should always be there for the paupers of the world (ie. less then $100 etc) to still take part and build up an interest, thats just healthy imo.

1. Nano: $0 fees, 0.14 seconds for confirmation
2. Digibyte: $0.0005 fee, 5 minutes to confirm
3. Bitcoin SV: $0.00055 fee, 7 days to confirm.
4. XRP: $0.00078 fee, 4 seconds to confirm.
5. Bitcoin Cash: $0.0024 fee, 2.5 hours to confirm.
6. Stellar: $0.004 fee, 4 seconds to confirm.
7. Dash: $0.0043 fee, 15 minutes to confirm.
8. Litecoin: $0.041 fee, 30 minutes to confirm.
9. Monero: $0.0696 fee, 30 minutes to confirm.
10. Doge: $0.239 fee, 20 minutes to confirm.

Some numbers arent accurate but you can tell the difference.

Just mentioned above ^ most of platforms now offering lots to choose from.

Worth quoting, useful snapshot info.   I have often used the classic Etherum chain because it was so widespread and fast, I've no idea of any wider criticism currently of it but it was fast cheap and often accepted; bid/offer spreads also is an element to cost of any effective usage back to dollars etc.

I always thought on withdrawal that a super slow option should be there for when the fees spike during price action hype and it gets busy.  I dont mind if it takes days, often I keep a stash of bitcoin over years somewhere anyhow so if I can save 20 dollars to go slow I'll often take that option and the weird way blocks work the transactions move faster then predicted sometimes anyhow.   Obviously there is a whole set logistics to bundling withdrawals together, just my ideal is the range of options if possible.

Congrats, I thought ace in that circumstance would count as 1 so the lower card if you both are putting up straights.    Seems pretty unusual to have both sides facing off from either end but if you play enough times alot of things can happen.   I think I had 4 kings once in my first 4 cards which has to be highly improbable.  I do know a few people who play but only casually really and somebody whose played his whole life since he was a kid but only really with relatives and us casuals.   Whats the best link to get them to get them signed up if I can, for some reason I havent joined telegram so I'll do that
4679  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling this post as a NFT. on: March 22, 2021, 10:52:56 PM
Is NFT wrong, I know its been discussed for a great many years.   If they can make it work efficiently I say all power to them, Im not against innovation or just honest attempts and I'd like to see POS succeed though I know many are against that also I dont see its doomed or certain to failure.    Competitive markets are part of capitalism and innovation is going to be part of that, I know alot of stuff is bogus also.
We already have modern art, its not solely on crypto for this type of criticism.  Not all parts to an economy will be linear and logical, I've always thought we get a bull whip effect in unknown detail.

they only need to believe in themselves.
Power even when great needs direction and control, experience lends that lesson and training saves time learning the hard way.   Read a good article on Tyson's old trainer D'Amato on that basis that somehow put him forward in his style and was lethal combined with his natural talent, making him youngest world heavyweight titleholder in history.   Its a mistake anyone thinking all of their success rests purely with themselves, universal rule imo
