4661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I earn much bitcoin? on: August 08, 2016, 01:17:23 PM
whether you have the skill? if you have a skill you can sell services and you can get a big amount.

whether  you have the money? You can buy a bitcoin for trading capital.

if you do not have it all, and want to find a free way, only the faucet, and the signature campaign is the best way.
and seek giveaway was not so bad, if lucky you can get great results.

Faucets .. provide you 20k satoshis from hours of work. It's a big loss of time. I prefer signature campaigns - you even earn bonus cash from ref links of your signature, and can earn a few bucks easy.
4662  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: August 08, 2016, 01:15:54 PM
Bitcoin is the most accessible money globally , wherever you are.
Despite the fact that it is not known like dollar $ ..

It's not really accessible. And not globally at all. I got to drive +500km to get to a BTC ATM. I have to drive +200km to find a shop accepting BTC. The price is +$570. How can it be accessible at this price?
4663  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: August 08, 2016, 01:10:23 PM
Really, what's the point in doing that, unless your life is consumed by BitCoin, nobody could be on the forums all day.
many ways to get bitcoin apart in the forum, of course, you will get bored if all day continued in this forum.
but still allows a person to get bitcoin in this forum and more worthy than those do not work, or difficult to find a job. at least 0.1/month, it might mean a lot to some people.
You don’t have to stick to this forum all day just to get bitcoins.
There are so many other ways for you to earn a living with bitcoin like doing online jobs, trading, etc and the point is to some people, being able to earn 0.1 BTC per month means a lot and you might want to think about it again as per my own experience.

I don't think that 0.1 would be sufficient to earn a living with it, if you are depending only on bitcoin for living the you should earn at least 2 btc per month to have comfortable life.

For people from India, 0.1BTC a month is an enormous amount of money. People are trying to earn extra bucks completing captcha daily. Having them hear about Bitcoin and BTCTalk could change their lives. But I'm wondering what could they do with it.. I don't think there's much to do with BTC in India.
4664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitfinex WEBSITE BACK TO LIFE on: August 08, 2016, 01:07:21 PM
"Security
We pride ourselves on being the most secure bitcoin exchange."

Copied from bitfinex.  Grin Grin Grin

We all saw how great the security was when someone tried to rob it. If there even was a hacker......

Yayy! Bitfinex back to life. Expect another hack soon, then Cheesy
4665  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Hot News !!! on: August 08, 2016, 12:55:34 PM
It is good to see the price of btc rising again and hopefully it will get back to where it was hacked down this week.
Does it mean the hacker have offloaded all the $70m stolen?
I don't think hacker have unloaded/dumped their coin till now and price seems to keep rising before it hit just below 700$ which was before hack price of bitcoin. I think shorting few of our coins at 650$-700$ range will be good decision.

Nah, it will pass the $600-$700 price. It was too long for BTC to be so stable, it was really weird as it was like the first time I've seen the price staying at $650 (+/-$25). Now it's time to go even more above that price. We've got to pass $1k  by the next year!
4666  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: August 08, 2016, 12:50:05 PM
It's really hard to predict what could happen in this world in 20 years. Bitcoin might not even exist anymore. If it would.. I guess it'd have a really great price to sell Cheesy
4667  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: August 08, 2016, 12:42:27 PM
Having and keeping 21 bitcoin is very difficult right now. With all the loss and the down slope of the price too $100 in the last week it is not the time to spend it but you must in order to try and more of it or keep it at 21 as long as you.
I would put them in an entrusted person so you don't spend them and wait until the price increases again then sell them when that time comes. That is the only way you can be sure to gain anything from them.

You never know if that time will ever come. Bitcoin can collapse anytime. 21BTC is a little over $10k. You can constantly exchange your cash savings to BTC and might reach the 21BTC sum easier. The price... It's all about the upcoming events that may change BTC forever.
4668  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to tell your Girlfirend about BitcoiN?? on: August 08, 2016, 12:38:38 PM
You simply don't. It's a mistake, they don't get it. If anything, if you are invested she will ask you what the price is all the time. Most people only care about purchasing power and increasing it. This is why only engineers, cryptographers and smart people (except lucky guys too) got invested in Bitcoin early on, they saw the potential even if it was worthless.

Eventually mainstream will catch up and they will be using bitcoin even if they dont know they are using it.

I agree. and it is not restricted to your girlfriend or girls in general. I have had the experience with telling others about bitcoin and most of the times I get rejected by them because they are not interested in bitcoin or they are scared of anything new.

I always tell them how I got hundreds from zero. Absolutely zero. I started by gambling with faucets, and now I'm trying to find a good way to invest the money I won. While looking for good ideas, I'm trying to get some more bucks on my secondary wallet. Tell them to try signature campaigns here. They'll see how easy it is to get money.

Seems like Torwallet has a shady past, there have been concerns since 2012

Bottom line: don't use online wallets... If you don't controll your own private key, you don't controll your funds.
If you have any VALID reason to trust a stranger with your keys (an online wallet), at least pick one that has a solid reputation instead of using one that's unknown.

Like Xanidas said, your only chance is contacting their support dept. They're the ones controlling your funds Sad

I'm using Blockchain.info since 2013. Never had a single problem with it. You can use online wallets, but you got to make sure it's a safe choice. Don't go for wallets promising too much - these are the most dangerous ones.
4670  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I make money with $100 USD BTC on: August 08, 2016, 12:33:28 PM
I want to make money with my current BTC how would i go about this

there are many ways to earn, you can even gamble that amount but that is too risky, you can try to invest in good site that will bring you profit but that is a bit risky too

Any investment is a risk, and if you want to earn a living you have to assume it. Otherwise, you can just keep your money there and not risk anything at all. Gambling is not a way to earn money, it's a way to risk a sum of money you can afford to. Investments can make you loose, in the worst case, a part of your money. However, you can do it smart. Gambling is win or loose.
4671  Economy / Lending / Re: loan of $100 on: August 08, 2016, 12:24:02 PM
Newbie asking for a high a loan without collateral and starting his topic with a silly poll... Where did i see this thing before?...
SCAM ALERT

If it was $1, maybe someone would have sent you.

No, no one will help scammers even with a cent

That 'someone' has to be a one-in-a-million guy who randomly gives money away. Cheesy OP is probably a kid wanting to buy GTA or something. He just tried it... Unfortunatrly, to find out there are no idiots here Smiley
4672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: reasons to buy from individual? on: August 08, 2016, 12:21:20 PM
i am not recommended to buy from individual on the forum, any forums unless you know that person individually. we have to trust someone before we have make a deal with him/her, so better buy from person which we already know. and i think if we don't know anything, we can buy from market exchange.

This way you won't make and succeed any business in life.

Think about it: do the millionaires and.. basically any businessman deal with acquaintances and close friends? No, the most work is done with complete strangers. We have to deal with it. My friends and family, for example, don't have BTC. They got just a small amount (<$10) max. So where should I buy from..? Exchange websites can be scams too. Bitfinex was, so.. I guess we shouldn't trust anything ever then.
4673  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex asks users to help in Recovery on: August 08, 2016, 12:13:39 PM
Hahahaha, what a good joke!

Steal tens of thousands of $s from me, and then ask me to pay you for it! What?! Cheesy The owners stole the money, and now they're requesting even more from us. Illegal activity doing more illegal stuff after a crime!

Tell me how are the same systems being used on the exchange websites and just one of them got hacked. If the hackers would have really existed, all exchange websites would've gone down.
4674  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex still has hackable errors in their site. on: August 08, 2016, 07:55:44 AM
The website is still a scam. I don't trust them anymore (I didn't use it ever, but I would have probably trusted it if I needed to). I expect another "hack" phase to begin when the site will be fully working once again. A $65M loss is a huge amount, the temptation to steal it as the owners is as big as the amount is.

Hello, Lutpin!

I've received my paymemt, but it looks like I was still paid as a Junior Member. On 5th of August (13th page of this thread) I ranked up. On the Spreadsheet, I am still appearing as a Junior Member.

Here's the post where I notified you about me ranking up:

Are the posts in all categories counted except the locals? If not, which categories wouldn't count as a valid post in this campaign?

Also, I've ranked up to Member now. I changed my signature too.

The yesterday's payment was 0.006BTC. Will I be paid as a Member since this week, or I'll receive a payment of the rest these days?

Thank you!

Don't worry about it. Lutpin is checking every single account before accepting/denying the application.
4677  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: August 07, 2016, 09:58:22 AM
Let's hope the coins are not stolen by the owners of the exchange. Then it can be seen as a scam. If it turns out to be a real hack, then it's still the fault of Bitfinex as their security should be top notch. Other than that, the price will definitely recover. I am sure of that as the price has always gone up again after something really bad happened.

I heard that the Bitfinex used the similar wallet system like some other exchanges, but there is no hack on other exchanges.

They ran away with the cash. Wouldn't you be tempted to do the same thing if you already had an illegal company AND you got $65MN waiting there in the users' acounts? You would. This is very dangerous, and it seems like the owners lost it. Another few millionaires, getting rich from ponzi schemes.
4678  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Refugees and the European strategic error on: August 07, 2016, 09:34:38 AM
Interesting thinking but you are not right that mostly young man came to Europe.
A lot refugee families came as well and also many of this people now learning new languages, attending lectures and educations, trying to find jobs and help their families and relatives.
It's not black and white picture but more gray.
Of course, some people will not be so much responsible and maybe will come under influence of Isis but we can't punish 99,9 % people because of 0,1 % radical people.
We should help them to organize life well in the Europe and teach them about European culture, tradition, etc.
Immigrants from Balkan (former Yugoslavia and Turkey) 50 years ago helped a lot economy of Germany and West, as very cheap and uneducated workers.
It can happen again.

They know which of them are ISIS loyals and which aren't. It's easy to find out, like Erdogan found out who his enemies are with this coup. In Germany, it's actually much different than it's shown on TV. I've been there a month ago and spoke to a few guys. The real stuff isn't shown at all on TV, it's all censored. Immigrants there ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORK. They're being offered money and all that stuff from where? From the German citizens' money. It's theirs, and you wouldn't be happy either paying for someone not to work.

We can't control them anymore, nor can we educate them. Merkel is the 'good guy' for them, standing always for her so that they can get what they want. Rapes, murders, things like these are never shown from Germany. People are comimg back from Germany, which used to be the best country to migrate to, to my country. The main reason is the latest events taking place there, the fear to walk alone on the streets even in daylight. They won't help Germany with the economy, it's just part of the islamization of this world.
4679  Economy / Lending / Re: loan of $100 on: August 07, 2016, 09:27:51 AM
If it was $1, maybe someone would have sent you. But $100? To a brand new account? No thanks. Grow your account first, grow your trust here. We'll maybe then trust you and lend you $100. Still, it's too much. I've seen Sr. Members or even Hero members requesting 0.1BTC which is almost $60 and not being trusted, and you want $100. lol nice try tho.
4680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: August 07, 2016, 09:23:07 AM
because the profit make addiction..  Cheesy
Lol, I am not addicted to my work, even though it gives mi profits, obviously. When we are talking about gambling addiction you have consider potential profit vs potential risk.
Gamblers usually are plagued with various numbers of fallacies therefore they can't clearly think about risk vs. reward ratio during their sessions.

Work and gambling are two very different things. Gambling is already known for creating addiction to those playing it, while work is something you're forced to do in order to earn your living. Most of the time, it's not even what you really want to do in life; just something you need to do. Work is work, gambling is a luck game. You can win or loose. At work, what can you win or loose?
