"Key Witness in Harvey Weinstein Trial Hit by Car and Hospitalized"

https://themindunleashed.com/2020/02/barbara-ziv-harvey-weinstein-trial-hit-by-car-hospitalized.html

There seems to be a high incidence of "random accidents" and "suicides" lately among witnesses, dissidents, and whistleblowers. Of course it is all coincidence. Nothing to see here. Move along.

@TECHSHARE this accident was planned and carefully carried out but the question that comes to my mind is did Harvey do it, or was it someone else who did it to frame him. Now I know on the face of it people would say Harvey did it, but when I think logically I feel that he’s not so foolish to carry out an attack like this and escape without any consequences. What do you think of this don’t you too feel that there’s some conspiracy behind this attack, or do you too believe that it was Harvey who decided to send out a warning to other witnesses by organising this attack?.

India has performed well till now, but the women's team in India doesn't enjoy the level of glamour and glitz that is associated with the men's sport. The BCCI is yet to organize a franchise league for the women players, while their counterparts in Australia and England have Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) and Women's Cricket Super League respectively.

Sure the Women cricketers are not getting the same recognition like the male counterparts and that is the case with other sports , only male cricketers does have fans and the money value, if you check out Mithali Raj who is a sort of legendary female cricketer with a average above 50 and i am sure many have no idea who she is.
India is playing well and they could win the tournament as they are bowling really well and Poonam Yadav and Shikha Pandey are the leading wicket takers in the tournament so far and they have won close games with their bowling.
This is not only happening in India its also case of many developed countries as women have not enough things like men becasue its male dominent society so they are still fighting for good break through in sports just indivual sports ladies have some better name but in team events its not easy for them.

BCCI will only organise an event for women cricket when they think it will generate good revenue. They are not discriminating women from men. There is simply no demand for such league at the moment and very less crowd presence whenever women cricket is being played.

@pakhitheboss was there a demand for IPL before it started no, but when it started it was promoted and it suddenly became a hit among the masses hence I feel that BCCI should start a similar league for women’s and then promote it like they promote IPL. @clement kaliyar I’ll agree with you as I remember talking about Mithali to my Indian friends, and they were like who is she and they were surprised to know that India has a women’s team too?.

Speculation.... NZ vs India

For second test, i have a feeling that team management might go with Shubham Gill as he scored a double ton on same venue recently (against NZ A). If it happens then chances are Prithvi is going to sit out. It would be interesting to see that who gets the opportunity to open with Mayank.

Shubham Gill or Hanuma Vihari ? Hanuma took the bullet last time when he was asked to fit in the similar opening role against the Australia.

@JSRAW I don’t know if there’s any merit in this speculation, but I also feel that team India needs immediate changes as their performance in the first test match was very poor. In my personal opinion Shubham Gill should be selected as he has already scored a double ton on this venue, which means he’s already accustomed to the conditions out there and he’ll perform way better than Hanuman.

Anyone watching the (women's) match between England and Thailand (ICC Women's T20 World Cup)? Thailand won the toss and chose to field first. And England lost a wicket early on and they are 1/1 after 1 over. The match is being shown live (@ Star Sports 2 HD in India). Thailand is participating in an ICC tournament for the first time ever and they have done well till now. Their first match was against West Indies. Although they lost the match, they gave a good fight.
Women's twenty/20 world cup is going with full of upsets as in first match India beat hot favourite Australia then we have South Africa beat England and now today we have third upset as Pakistan beat West Indies look like now circle of game is changing here as hot favourites goind down very badly even still all teams going with full chances but its very interesting we have good matches.

@Vishnu.Reang I missed that match but England won comfortably, and I’m not surprised to see them win so easily as Thailand is not a strong team. Furthermore the Indian women’s team has won their game against New Zealand, and have now entered the semi finals and I have a strong feeling that they’ll win the T20 World Cup as they look unbeatable to me what are your thoughts?.

4665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 27, 2020, 09:29:10 AM
Lewandowski is out for 4 weeks now and that is something Bayern should be very worried about. They were very lucky these last years, with Lewandowski being healthy all the time, since they never had a backup for him - it was a risky game they played. Now there is some big void upfront and teams will have an easier time defending, since they don't have to put three players on Lewandowski now.

Robert Lewandowski is only out for 4 weeks. In my opinion this injury won't have a huge overall effect on this years season. Even without Lewandowski Bayerns squad can (easily) beat all the upcoming opponents in the Bundesliga. Just let Serge Gnarby play central forward, with Mueller, Coutinho and Coman backing him. The next major Champions League game against Chelsea is at the 18.03.2020, even without Lewandowski this should be a no-brainer after the 3:0 yesterday. For all following games, I am sure Lewandowski will be ready to play and hungry to win his first major trophy. He knows he is getting older and will do everything for the success.

I am so hyped for this year boys!!! It reminds me of the good times...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPhvRuA1RR8

I’m not sure how will Bayern cope without him as he’s always scoring lots of goals, and inspiring other players too and thus in my personal opinion that’s a big loss for Bayern unless suddenly someone can step up for them and take Lewandowski place. Also about Chelsea’s fixture you’re right Bayern won’t miss Lewandowski as Chelsea definitely won’t score 4 goals, so that’s one fixture they can be relaxed about.

Where is everybody? watching Champions League, how Lyon slapped Juve & forgetting Europa League?
Man United has to win, i expect 1-0 or 2-1.

I do believe in Home advantages, so Man utd, Celtic, Sevilla and Arsenal should do justice and Qualify to the round of 16.

I was watching Manchester City vs Real Madrid last night but tonight my focus shifts back to Europa League as my favourite club Manchester United is playing. Also I’m expecting Manchester United to win their match because of Bruno and Martial as these two players have completely revitalised the entire team, and since we’re playing at home I’m expecting the end score to be 2 - 0.
4667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 27, 2020, 05:44:18 AM
And not just about them and the goals they need to score, they must also stop/prevent city from scoring the entire 90 minutes at the Etihad, the more city scores there, the lesser Madrids chances are. Ramos is also out and madrids bad run continue, they will score in the second leg surely, but City would still outscore them Imo.

I saw a different City(in the UCL)in this game, they played with a real hunger and fire, the ban may just be the catalyst that guides city to the trophy this season.

Manchester City won Premier League trophy several times in the last 10 years. It is not an exxageration to say Man. City dominated Premier League last decade. They somewhat lost their desire to win Premier League or a kind of reduction in their desire for the league.

It is totally different for Champions League, where they have never joined the final match, even within their recent golden era. The ban (if their ban appeal failed) will last next 2 seasons, that do give them more strength for their next match against Real Madrid. Honestly their quality of Manchester City is better than Real Madrid, they are younger and better. What Man City don't have is their traditional winning habit in Champions League.

Manchester City stunned us first with their formation and then by beating Real Madrid, however I feel that Madrid shall not give up easily therefore their next meet will be very interesting to watch. It’s also pertinent to note that both the teams have lost a key defender, and so do you’ll believe that more goals will be score when they meet at Etihad?.

4668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 26, 2020, 05:42:24 AM
I personally still believe that NEO will be the best cryptocurrency investment this year.
I like NEO because you can stake this coin and get some GAS.
Obviously, NEO is one of the best platform to invest in crypto market. But right now it is dump more than 10% so active traders only make good revenue in NEO platform. My self BTC and BNB is a good investment for this year and my suggestion is better we can choose two or more investment because of single trust will never satisfy the further needs. So I hope BTC is always more convenient for everyone.

I have my doubts about NEO but maybe I’m wrong so is anyone investing in this coin, if yes what are the key reasons that are motivating you to invest in this coin?. Also I’m sticking with Bitcoin and Ethereum only as these two coins are giving solid returns, and even though they’re tanking right now I feel that their prices will rebound in coming months.
4669  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Julian Assange: Extradition Hearing (from UK to US) begins in London on: February 25, 2020, 12:23:20 PM
What are you views regarding Julian Asssange being held in a UK prison while fighting extradition to the USA?

24th February 2020 (today) was the first day of the extradition hearing and the extradition hearing will be adjourned at the end of this week of legal argument and continue with three weeks of evidence scheduled to begin on 18th May 2020.

There is still so much legal debate left before a judgement can be made but the Assange legal team will exhaust every option in appeal after appeal because they are fairly sure he will receive a very long sentence in the USA.

Trump and Assange are both outsiders fighting the system.

@JollyGood this hearing will go on for a very long time, and I don’t think that he’ll be extradited anytime soon as the law will give him many appeals to exhaust first, hence he will have to wait patiently till the final judgement comes. Also @Spendulus do you believe that there’s a chance that Trump may grant him a pardon for his acts, and drop all the cases against him in my opinion I feel there’s a 50 - 50 chance of that happening but what do you think?.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/24/warren-buffett-cryptocurrency-has-no-value.html

So Warren buffett just stated that cryptocurrencies have no value and He does not own any and he never will.

But it is a very well known fact that in February only
Sun gifted Buffett one bitcoin , after striking that deal with him .

So practically he did own 1 btc . I am not sure that he gave them to charity though .

What are your thoughts ?

Warren Buffett is a hypocrite and no I’m not saying this because he’s not a bitcoin fan, I’m saying this based on proven fact. I’m assuming all know of his intent of never giving up on his flip Samsung phone in exchange for a Iphone, but look how he suddenly decides to back out from his words by confirming that he’ll use an Iphone now. Therefore if the community believes anything he has to say regarding bitcoins then I would advise you'll not to believe him, and I have always considered the opposite of what he say in respect to bitcoins hence I urge you’ll to do the same.

4671  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bernie Sanders is the Frontrunner for the Dems on: February 25, 2020, 07:09:10 AM
I never thought I'd be saying this (Flying Hellfish knows this is true) but currently, Bernie Sanders who is an independent, is the frontrunner to be the Dem nominee in 2020. Not something I imagined would happen with someone who self identifies as a Democratic Socialist, but it's where we're at today.

I still think that the DNC is going to fight tooth and nail to steal this one from Bernie. I have a few theories on how this is going to be done. Obviously all of this is given that Bernie doesn't have a majority of the delegates (1996 delegates, something around that) at the time of the convention:

1. The Moderates Band Together - Not sure who would be the to lead this coalition. But this is pretty much the line of thinking that Pete, Klobuchar, Bloomberg, and Biden all work together in someway to win the nomination. If they all pooled their polling numbers together, they'd be a true formidable foe to Bernie. They could even keep running at the moment and try to pick up as many delegates as they can, using their delegates on one another.

2. The Re-Rise of Biden - Biden had a strong second place finish in Nevada, exactly what his campaign needed. If he has a real strong finish in South Carolina, like his campaign has been relying HEAVILY on, then he could be back in the race. He'd still need some of the other moderates to drop out to REALLY have a shot, but even without this he could show himself to be the only one who could go against Bernie. Horrible candidate in my eyes, but possible.

3. Mr. Money Bags - Bloomberg is able to pull off the unthinkable. Even after his horrible debate performance, the voters disregard this and they just look at all of the ads that he's dumped into their states and they pick him. This is what the Bloomberg camp is hoping and praying for. They need a BIG WIN on super Tuesday to use as their mandate to lead. Even a strong second place finish in every single Super T state will mean that he can push the other moderate voters toward himself.

Anyone agree, disagree, etc? I'd love to heard it.

A while ago in one of the threads out here I had posted that it’ll be a race between Bernie vs Bloomberg, but now it looks like Biden is also yet in the race which makes these elections very interesting to watch. @squatz all your theories are legit and yea even I’m waiting for all of them to side either with Biden or Bloomberg, otherwise Sanders will easily win it and at this moment he’s looking unstoppable to me. Lastly whichever candidate wins this party will yet be divided and therefore is doomed to fail in the upcoming elections, and do mark my words that Trump will win with a very big margin because of their infighting and inability to stick together.

To be honest I haven't tried the gambling site that I have been promoting right now.
I haven't gamble for a long time now but I would like to try them out,
I guess it is a great one since the campaign has been running for so long now.

@xvids you don’t need to gamble to help the site you’re promoting, all you need do is focus on your post quality and that’ll help them in the long run. Also since you haven’t gambled in a long while I would suggest you to make small bets first and see where you’re making more money is it dice, slots or sports book and then over a period of time increase your bet amounts.
4673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 25, 2020, 03:01:00 AM
Been playing gambling wayback before even if im not able to join gambling-based signature campaigns. The good thing if you are advertising gambling companies
is that you do know on what you are posting rather than posting non sense just because you are just forced because of the requirement given.
If you arent familiar with gambling then its better not to join gambling based signature campaigns.

@milewilda I’ll second that as I too was gambling way before I even came here, and I don’t think that one should start gambling just because he/she is a part gambling signature campaign as that person could incur unnecessarily high debts if he/she got addicted. Further signature campaigns requires you to focus only on your post quality, and it doesn’t require you to wager any amounts so my advice for you’ll is to focus only on creating constructive posts and if you yet wish to gamble then do make sure that you’re gambling with your surplus funds only.

For 30 thousand dollars you could go to Paris for a week and vacation there and come back while visiting great restaurants and historical things, for 300 dollars you could have a decent weekend at wherever you are, so it is not "tiny amount for a rich person" when it gets bigger since if you are super rich there is still other stuff you could do with that money, which is why winning is still quite important.
Very true. Some people think that rich people are not blown away by amounts like $30K which is true in some cases, but this applies to the minority based on what I have observed. Majority of the them still go crazy when they win such amounts.

Majority of them earned money through their own hard work which is why they tend to value every single cent(Eg: Bill Gates), but a minority of them treat such amounts like nothing(Eg: Rich kids who never earned anything).

The money which you gain from hard work, you know the value of that money and hence you will never waste that money. The rich kids who are born with a golden spoon in their mouth, will never understand how hard it is to collect the money.
Same goes with gambling, if anyone win big from gambling, that is called easy money and they will not know the worth of that money.
I doubt the difference is like that when it comes to people who earned their money versus people who inherited that kind of money. Of course there is a big difference between those two type of people but we are talking about someone who wagered over 30 thousand dollars on a sports bet here, so I doubt there is much difference between him and anyone who spends their money without a care in the world, dude is basically one of them.

I doubt even today Bill Gates wouldn't spend 30k on a sports bet, he wouldn't wager it, he spends billions on charity but would refrain from gambling it. So this dude could be hard worked to earn his money or lucky to have his money but in the end he is a degen like us who likes to gamble as much as he can afford as well, the only difference is, he can afford a lot more than us.

rich people work too and yes they know how to value money  . i knew a rich family , his kids are not greedy and they do also know how to value thier money and take not thier kids are not working yet   . so it also depend on the parent if what good manners taught to them by thier parents  . when it comes to gambling a person can play depending on what he can afford to loose  , usually rich people bet alot compare to poor   . they could be doing it once in a while , thats why thier bets are extra ordinary than regular players  .

I believe the theory that rich people do not care for their money is horribly wrong, and since you’ll have cited the example of Bill Gates I’m sure you’ll remember that he tipped a waitress $5, and his daughter tipped the same waitress $500. In this scenario Bill gates could have tipped more, but he understood the value of his money and hence he didn’t tip more hope this settles this debate.

https://africacheck.org/fbcheck/bill-gates-didnt-tip-5-because-hes-the-son-of-a-wood-cutter-his-parents-are-a-lawyer-and-teacher/

Twenty dollars to twelve thousand.. just like that 🙏🏼

This is a very lucky gambler and I haven’t seen anyone win such a huge amount by placing a $20 bet, are there more users like him who have won huge bets by placing such small amounts?.

I fear for Adesanya tbh.

@tokeweed Adesanya vs Romero will be a very interesting clash as Adesanya himself challenged Romero despite the latter reputation, and I feel that he’s made a grave error and he’ll definitely be punished by Romero. It’s pertinent to note that Romero May have lost few matches, but Adesanya plans to knock him out and that hasn’t happened since 2011 hence I feel that Romero has a better chance to win this match.

Another sim hacked? this is huge and I don't know what to say either if ever I'm on that situation.
Can an expert explain how did the hacker got his funds?
Sim hack? Try to read this up on how its being done https://www.pandasecurity.com/mediacenter/security/sim-hijacking-explained/

On topic, i dont know why do people really trust up some centralized services on storing up their holdings. We are talking millions of dollars here
and it would be much more safer if they do just consider on buying or budgeting a hundred bucks for some hardware wallet.

Well, its too late to regret now.
Thanks. But this is the nth time that someone's fund was hacked due to this method and also a big negligence from the owner himself of keeping it there. They never learn from the mistakes of others that if they don't hold the keys, they don't hold the funds. There's someone that commented on the tweet how much the ledger is and that's truly a shame to the owner. Now that I've left the discussion for a day and there's a new story that's circulating which making it more interesting again.

When I first read the news I felt that this was another fud attempt, but after seeing this story pop up every where I realised that he had indeed lost his millions to a stupid hack.

While many of us are busy in condemning him I hope others are taking valuable lessons from this hack, and if anyone has got some good suggestions to stay safe from this kind of hack then do post it here so all can read and implement those suggestions to be safe.

Open 13 in Marseille, France already started. They've played already in going on the last 16.

My boy Tsitsipas won over Ymer 6-1, 6-3 he will be facing Pospisil in QF.

Medvedev the top seed, won a come from behind over Jannik Sinner 1-6, 6-1, 6-2.

Denis Shapovalov also won, against  Marin Cilic 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.
Just Quarter final line completed as Goffin ranked 3rd for this tournament lost in straight sets against Gerasimov look like we are going to have some more upsets in quarter finals as well because top seed players not in good shape and can lost matches very easily against low ranked players.

There also another big upset, as world number 5 seed and the top seed here, Medvedev lost to Giles Simon in just over 60 minutes. I mean Giles is in the mid 30's but it seems he still has the mentally to beat this young guys. I know this is just a second tier tournament but this is huge, specially that we have talked that the young generations of tennis players should step up.

He will be facing Auger-Aliassime, another favorite of mine, so let's see how the match will go. On the other side of the semis, it will be Tsitsipas vs Bublik, who defeated number 4 D. Shapovalov.

Another example of let down for young generations to show the old school boys, lmao. We may say that Medvedev is inconsistent now as he didn't carry his momentum from last year's performance.

Good for you, both of your favourite players, Auger-Aliassime and Tsitsipas won and they will be facing in the finals.

LOL, I'm glad both of them make it to the finals, and fortunately Tsitsipas won, 6-3, 6-4.

He was the defending championand indeed, he played very well in this tournament, not dropping any sets if I'm not mistaken. He admitted that he didn't crack under pressure (which we also observed from young players), but then again this is just a minor tournament. Congrats to my boy!!!  Grin

@Kemarit it was a good game and I’m really happy for Tsitsipas as he has lots of potential within him, and now all he needs to do is focus and build on this victory. Though I’ll agree that this was a small competition but it’ll yet boost his confidence, and hopefully from now on he’ll be able to win more matches consistently.

The Australian lower order looked very weak. Matthew Wade failed once again.. and I wasn't expecting much from him. I would have liked if the Australians sent Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins ahead of Ashton Agar, because these two are big hitters.
Australia had a target of 20 runs required from 12 balls and in the 18th over they just scored 5 runs and lost a wicket and in the 19th over they scored just 3 runs and lost another wicket and in the last over South Africa just conceded just 4 runs, it is a great come back by South Africa to level the series and i lost some money because of this stupid performance by Australia Undecided.
Today we have good comeback by South Africa even target was not good enough but good and disciplined bowling help South Africa as they fight back in this series Negidi completely destroy Australian batting line up so Warner alone not able to do for team even he is one of most attractive batsman in twenty/20 but still today South Africa was much better and eager for win.

@BitSat19 no one could have anticipated that Australia would loose this match especially with Warner and Smith starting for them, but it seems to me that having the best players in the world is not enough if they can’t execute their team plans. It’s also pertinent to note that South Africa perfectly executed their team plan, and didn’t give up on this match till the very end and were rightfully rewarded for their consistency.

We have seen a lot of favorite teams losing to weaker teams this season, Watford might be one of the few teams stuck at the bottom of the table currently but I think the players of Watford are fighting very hard to try and get their team out from the relegation zone, maybe Watford might still be able to get some points when they play against Manchester United today.
I don't think the result is draw or even Man United lost, United play at Old Trafford and the result won from Chelsea increase their motivation to win again because if they wins, they can go to position 5 with an opportunity to go to UCL next seasons.

I agree with @Strongkored Manchester United will not experience defeat or get a draw, unless Walford gets luck. Surely Manchester United's motivation comes from the previous week's victory. Which is where the United Man can get a win at Chelsea home.
But anything can happen in a match, let's see the match.

Manchester United won this match thanks to Bruno as he has completely changed their playing style, and if he continues giving such performances then I fee that Manchester United can secure a top four spot easily.

Good ol' Watford is back. Good thing i avoided this game in my bet slip, i was going to back the Hornets. Btw, Greenwood's goal was great, but Martial's goal with the filthy skill  Shocked Shocked

Wolves have just scored against lowly Norwich <...>
It's safe to say that Norwich will probably be relegated this season. Kinda sucks because Norwich was the new sensation in the EPL at the start of the season...I remember when Pukki kept scoring goals week in and week out, his good form even got him a Player of the month award :/

@tomahawk9 Martial goal was absolutely brilliant and did you see Bruno taunted him in a fun way that he should have scored on his first pass only, and yea even Greenwood goal was good and hopefully he’ll continue to score more goals in coming days.

..
now back to the topic at hand..
this topic title is no news/small news.
as i said the websites still active so its not like its a legal battle over the brand
what actually occured was they had to repay their monarchy funds because the funds used to start the website last year were using royal funds

in bigger proper news
meghan and harry had to pay millions to secure their home because it was originally renovated using royal funds and as part of THEIR desire to show THEY dont want 'royal' hand outs. they bought out their house in full so that it truly becomes theirs.
yep £3million.
so this topic talking about £10k.. is small fries

(seems a lil bit of research instead of just media headline grabbing is worth it)

@franky1 thanks for the clarification in this thread and now I understand this situation even better, furthermore it seems that the media hyped it up and I fell for that hype. Also I wasn’t aware that they purchased their house with their own funds, so does this mean that Canada will no longer have to fund their lifestyle can you shed some light on this too?.
