hello ! in which BTC explorer can I see when a btc address has been created. that is surely possible. does anyone have a tip? You would use blockchair block explorer. Not only for bitcoin, you can use blockchair to search transaction details for 16 blockchain. where is the fastest way to create a segwig address. offline or online does not matter ! is electrum ok ?
Do you mean segwig SegWit? If so then I believe Electrum is better option to create native SegWit (bech32) which is start with "bc1". If you don't know different between SegWit (P2SH) and Native SegWit (bech32) then suggested to read this article What’s the difference between SegWit and Native SegWit (Bech32)? Anyway be careful when you are browsing electrum website. Download software only from original source www.electrum.org and verify signature to assure you have downloaded original software. Don't forget to write your seed on multiple paper carefully and save it on multiple secure place. Do not save your seed on any online machine. But if you can afford to Buy hardware wallet then it's more better and secure. You will get both type of address SegWit (P2SH) and Native SegWit (bech32). |

Honestly Bitcoin itself doesn't have enough power to follow any trends. Its totally depends on investors & community since its backed by them. So if you notice some similarities on stock market chart and bitcoin chart it's just a coincidence IMO. I believe investors aren't limited to any single platform like bitcoin or stock markets. So probably when you notice similarities then likely it's a investors influence. For example when stock market went down then an investor become panic, perhaps same investors invested on bitcoin as well, so this investor would sell his bitcoin as well due to panic. That's how sometimes stock market & bitcoin market pattern would be same. This theory applicable when orttern become same during bump as well. Note; Those users replying on main (full) thread then they shouldn't quote full thread. For example here is some users quoted full thread even on first reply. It will discourage readers to read your post. If you want to reply on a specific sentence then its fine to quote only that part instead of quote full thread. |

I think, contest is a good ways..  Not always. Sometimes clients have to share his/her opinion and advise and idea through live chat. So I think on this case contest isn't best idea. |

Welcome to the forum. Lots of thread and links have been suggested to read, so I will not give more load since you are brand new. If you are totally new on crypto-currency then read crypto related threads from where you could learn. Most important thing is, before create a new thread you must use forum search button since you don't know much about forum. So you will be suggested related thread what are you looking for. If fail to find appropriate thread link then you are free to ask any crypto or forum related question. There is different boards for different discussion so make sure you are posting on right section. It will reduce moderators job to move thread on appropriate boards.
Read as much as possible than write post. That's one of important point to learn as a beginner. Copy paste from any source will led your account ban. So share only your own content. Since you are new you have to struggle for learn and build your account. Always try to read pin post which board you are going to post.

Seems OP have valid point (realized as well). Posting style and intention is same like GP. I believe GP bought this account to troll and scam again. You might wanna PM theymos, Cyrus, or cryptios folks... they might be able to dig up some IP evidence or something. Other than that the best we can do is strongly suspect.
Will it effective? Because GP was very clever ( scammers always clever), he might use TOR to avoid IP trace and to avoid van evasion as well (if I am not wrong). |

I think this user called hasker123 trying to promote scams thing. He have made thread on B&H section and he locked the thread ( Archived thread). Seems he have mentioned about mozilla firefox addon and double bitcoin scheme. So obviously this is a phishing attempt IMHO. Lots of people believe bitcoin is scam and they are posting on this forum as well. When you will read this thread which has made on July 13, 2012 called " A Scam" then you will discover few people believed bitcoin is scam. But all comments still alive and you are able to read them. So is it not freedom of speech? But you are trying to create FUD and repeating same thing again and again. So I believe someone reported your posts. Probably your posts have been deleting below reason; Q: Do you moderate/delete (possible) FUD, accusations and untrue information?
A: No. We don't have enough time to check every single piece of information and verify the validity of the sources. Also, just like scams - too much room for bias and abuse.
However, trolling isn't allowed. If a user is habitually posting obviously false nonsense ("obviously false nonsense" to an outsider, NOT to someone who follows or is involved in the discussion) just to stir up trouble, then it's considered trolling, which is prohibited. Such cases should be thoroughly documented in the report though (There are tons of reports that just say "trolling", but moderators don't have time to look through each user's post).

From where have you found this website? It's from Telescam or from Google ads? Please add the source on the OP wherever you create such as scam attempt. It will help to understand the spreading platform as well and people could be more aware although this is old scam method. By the way, domain name itself enough suspicious to mark it as a scam.
Seems website still online, they will make us confuse and gain access of our private keys. That's the their goal, they know very well not lots of peoples will fall into this trap but somehow few peoples will confused and will submit their private key. Also they are quite greed and that greed will led them for a scam. I always want to said, greed is behind of our most of stupid attempt.

The wallet was sent P2p, and not from a recognised supplier. I suspect this raised a red flag, and customs decided to investigate. That's the fact why they investigate it deeply. Usually when customs find something suspicious then they have right to open when its p2p. I have ordered Ledger package (Ledger-s+Ledger-X) from Amazon and I received it sealed. I am currently working on Middle East (KSA). But I have sent a Ledger-s to a friend in my native country but there wasn't any problems on the customs. Obviously it was sent p2p, when one of my colleague went vacation I have sent with him. Hope when I will go then there will not be problem on the customs. Just for info, Bitcoin is fully illegal in my country. |

I am not agree with this feedback, reference is too weak comparing what wrote on the comment. Sometimes personally we don't like someone for some reason but it doesn't mean we have to leave negative feedback for that. Or supporting a person to whom I don't like shouldn't get red tag. Better solution is ignore and exclude IMO. I am assuming @JollyGood left red tag by mistake instead of leave neutral feedback (I might be wrong as well). He tagged two more users for the same reason (@muslol67 , @BitcoinTurk) with same reference. @theymos There should be a method to neutralize this type of wrong negative feedbacks (opinion based feedbacks). May be a system like flag system, there should be opposite/support options for DT1 users. Merit or smerit rewards can motivate DT1 members for voting, it is just an idea.
Then there will be war like gang war. Exclusion is the solution or there is counter feedback. |

Seems you are quite knowledgeable, shouldn't you diligence before sent money? This is financial issue man! always should double check if you are browsing correct apps or software. Here was their official announcement thread, if you were search on forum before send money then likely you wouldn't get scam. By the way, seems Google doesn't monitor scam, you may report on ads if it is exist. Hope they will take appropriate action. |

Hope you have got your expected answers from above replied by @o_e_l_e_o. Listen, when you have written your seed phrase and save it on safe place means your fund is safe either you never connect Ledger into PC again. Seed will recover your funds even you lost your device. So stay calm and keep safe your seed. There is a chip on Ledger inside where save all private keys and its recoverable by seed phrase as I said above. When an address genarated from your Ledger means it has assigned for you forever utill your seed with you. Doesn't matter either your device is offline or online, sent fund to your address always will be your. Just don't list your seed and don't save it with any online machine as well.

I am quite agree with @actmyname. Ignore is better solution. Just let him get advantage of suspension. Any action or tag isn't appropriate for that although this is soft merit begging. Sometimes they are depressed and become regret when they are unable to write good post in order to get merits. But unfortunately they aren't doing their best. For me I can say I would earn first merit in first day if I create a new account. But currently newbies are quite lazy to learn and share.

As title said, I will prefer you to read this thread. Here you will read a person were regret about his/her past mistake and someone else had tried to get advantage of it by attempt for second scam. I will share with you a story for quick understand that how your common sense sometimes could save your life & money from scammers. Here is story quote. I will give you the first when you let me go, the second when I fly up to that branch, and the third when I fly up to the top of the tree.”

When someone offer you to return your scammed money when you are regretting then you should use your common sense, first stop regret about your past mistakes, it will never return you what have left from your hands. Secondly use your common sense, since cryptocurrencies is irreversible so no one able to return your funds any way. Don't go against your common sense due to your emotions. I will prefer to read Binance academy article about What Is a Hardware Wallet (and Why You Should Use One). When you will read this article then you will have realized why should you use hardware wallet. I don't want to argue or describe in details, but holding your crypto in a good hardware wallet is safer than any online or software wallet. Its because private keys aren't revealed and store into secure chip. Most pros is hardware wallet always in offline. If you can't safe your device, seed and private keys by yourself then any wallet isn't safe for you. Lost device or damage doesn't mean you lost your fund, you are able to recover by using another device or software always by seed phrase. |

Dean (Betking) have a golden opportunity for affiliate marketing since he have a gamblers database. Its means Dean (Betking) have a pure gamblers database and simply he could get huge amount of money from other gambling site by bulk email marketing. So I believe Dean (Betking) isn't open new gambling site but he is doing same what have done with Bitsler (affiliate partnership). A gambling site need to spend huge amount of money for their marketing but if they could get confirmed gambling database then they would reach directly to gamblers database with little money.
For example a gambling site run signature for 1 year and spent 5 btc for that. But probably he won't get 10K gamblers from here. But by gambling database probably for 2 btc you may reach 100K gamblers inbox directly. This is Dean (Betking) business currency IMHO.

Seems people raising many question but I am quite surprised with "JumbaBet" behaviour. They have created their account on July-01 and made this thread at the same day. But they went offline after made this announcement thread. Today is July-04 and still now OP is inactive means last active on July-01. I am not sure if OP will be back online again but really this behaviour isn't expected newly announced gambling site. It does prove that JumbaBet team isn't professional and not supporting their gamblers.
