Dang based on that update, these things aren't shipping anytime soon. Sorry dude. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Don't worry, I'm in the same boat with Black Arrow, if it makes you feel less worse.

The Price is INR 125000 USD 2080
$2,080 I can build a bitfury setup in 6 hours for about $1,200 that mines at 1 Ths not a good deal. True Ants, while they're still available, are 0.389 each with 0.05 coupon, so 1.945 BTC or $868 before power supplies for 1 TH/s.

Nemesidis/Black Arrow from their forums on eCoinTalk: Posted Today, 08:59 AM Shipping will start soon and of course that means as soon as possible, when we confirm that machines are working correctly and up to their expected specifications. And no we do not mine with them before we send them out. As soon as they are ready to work, we will ship them out without any further delay. Posted Today, 09:09 AM If to be honest i doubt anyone want to see any other update than "we started shipping. So i guess that one should be coming next. Posted Today, 09:10 AM Rough estimate is this year. Not saying it will take this long, but you asked for rough one.

If rumors are true, it'll be the death of the most successful asic miner in this early ASIC mining era. For 6 or 7 months, no other miner could scale or implement as fast as these little guys, at an affordable price. If it's EOL, I'm definitely holding on to my original Ant as a collectible item for sure. Kudos Antminer S1, you did good buddy. You ROI'd where others couldn't. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif)

Does the R-Box do Scrypt mining, both, or is it strictly SHA-256?
Just trying to see what the advantage of this is besides the SHA-256 GH/s over the Gridseed.

Try BTCGuild or Eligius pools. You won't get a payout for a while with only 5 U2's(10 GH/s?), but these are 2 of the more steadier mining pools.

I would like to start mining but I don't have access to powerful video cards. On the contrary, I do have about half a dozen very high end Windows Servers. Dell PowerEdge R715, dual proc, multiple cores, 16-32GBs of ram. But they only have the on-board Intel video.
Is it possible to mine using servers or do I just need to save up for video cards (which I can't).
Thanks!
Whatever you do, don't start mining with video cards. That time has passed already for both SHA-256 and Scrypt. You can mine those Alts with CPU's, but I wouldn't expect anything significant in value.

I'm a yam person, myself. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimg2.wikia.nocookie.net%2F__cb20080906215753%2Fcolor%2Fimages%2Fd%2Fd7%2FYam-586.jpg&t=663&c=lL7ZCo36z2j1IA) Can't wait until these "yams" grow up, so we can all have some sweet potatoe pie. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

What is the cost of one of these miners again?
its stated in first post : PRICE : 1.5 USD / GHThe price is $1200 Thanks Joeventura, why the F was that so hard to put in the first post? - shipping 200 USD / unit by dhl.
Plus $200 for shipping! $1400 for 800 GH/s?!!! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) These things must cure cancer or something. Bit-tech has their 950 GH/s miner for only $100 more. I don't even want to bring up getting 4 Antminer S1's...

Shenzhen, 28 November 2013: Black Arrow releases the Preliminary datasheet of the Minion ASIC Shenzhen, 26 September, 2013: Black Arrow is proud to announce that it has upgraded the specifications of its Minion chip to 100 Ghash (up to 128 Ghash when overclocked). Prospero X-1 will scan 100Ghash while using less than 55 Watts and Prospero X-3 will be able to scan an outstanding 2000Ghash while using less than 1050 Watt. I look back at this and laugh since the X1 is now essentially double this while the X3 is now as last reported I think 1400-1500w. And... Please note that February deliveries are limited because we will produce a limited number of wafers. The remaining orders will need to wait 1 month more until the 2nd batch.
lol So they should be on batch 4 now? Who knows, according to the apologists they never had a finished product in the first place so Batch 1 didn't even begin yet. So sad, Black Arrow could've dominated this space if they had something working in February...

So here's my report back: the miner worked as stated. It was actually above 1TH. I just want to give you all a warning, though, to set your miner on a pool other than Slush's. Because it took the pool so long to find a block, my 4 hours of 1 TH (which was estimated at 0.016 BTC (or 16 mBTC) ended up being completely wasted and I earned 0.
Go with a pool that pays PPS or that is finding more blocks.
Eligius or BTCGuild are usually safe bets.

Helmax, OGNasty is a trusted escrow you can use from these forums.
Buyer would pay escrow and fees through OGNasty, so you would not incur any risk in the sale.

Can't say anything bad about PD, because he eventually does payout.
However this whole manual 2 or 3 day payout period for PD is a deal breaker in my opinion, especially if Updown payouts consistently.
That said, I have no doubt RGC will claim the payout throne from Updown for June! :-D
