By friend he probably means "friend". Sure you can share wallets but don't be surprised when you get caught and accused of trying to cheat campaigns like you and your 'friends' were.

Contact theymos or cyrus. Also, you will probably need to follow the instructions here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0
4683  Other / Meta / Re: When i become a Jr.member on: August 09, 2017, 05:21:20 PM
When your activity point reach 42

1 X 14 = 14
2 X 14 = 28
3 X 14 = 42 Junior Member ( 1,5 Month from registered date)
4 X 14 = 56
5 X 14 = 70 Member (2,5 Month)
6 X 14 = 84
7 X 14 = 98
8 X 14 = 112
9 X 14 = 126 Full Member (4,5 Month)
10 X 14 = 140
11 X 14 = 154
12 X 14 = 168
13 X 14 = 182
14 X 14 = 196
15 X 14 = 210
16 X 14 = 224
17 X 14 = 238
18 X 14 = 252 Senior Member (8,5 Month )

Really? You sure it doesn't update on 30,60,120,240 and so on?

Well yeah it does, but because the activities are incremental by 14 you sometimes have to wait another fortnight. For instance, to be come a Junior you need to have posted in three periods, so three periods will get you 3 X 14 = 42 but you only need to have made 30 posts to become a Junior but you will still have a potential activity of 42 when you do.

The BBC site as it does everything for us automatically, but I will still post the other thread and if people want to publicly post their predictions they can do.
4685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £420 - £20 buy-in on: August 09, 2017, 03:15:10 PM
Already tried to predict and have no problem so far. It works just like the one from my local country forum. I don't mind people joining later if they pay, it's fun with more player and the price will increase aswell.

I hope lots more people join in throughout the season. It makes the pot bigger for us and they're less likely to win joining in at a later date haha. It will still be fun either way but if you consider yourself an expert tipster you could easily catch up to the 'amateurs' haha.
4686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £420 - £20 buy-in on: August 09, 2017, 03:01:04 PM
I think most of them will pay though maybe one or two wont. I think I'll let anyone join in at anytime during the season as long as they pay in the 0.01. They'll obviously be at a slight disadvantage though but if they join in early and they're good enough they could soon catch up but it'll be fun anyway. Still a couple days to go though.
4687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £420 - £20 buy-in on: August 09, 2017, 02:24:46 PM
How do I view predictions from the rest of the pool on that bbc site ?

And just to be sure, I don't have to predict all of them at the same time correct ?

You mean how do you view others predictions? You can't. They might show them after the week has finished though. And I don't think you do because I accidentally forgot one when I made my initial predictions (or it didn't save properly). You can edit your scores up until the kick off as well.
4688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £420 - £20 buy-in on: August 09, 2017, 02:12:35 PM
Great idea for the BBC predictor! Probably would have lost my bct bookmark among the scores I already have. My only slight issue is that I would have liked to be able to put in my predictions for up to 3 or 4 weeks ahead, especially since I may not have access to Internet when I travel. With this option, it seems you can only predict for the upcoming week. But I'll still go along with this of course.

Just remember to keep a back-up in case it goes down at some point. Probably a screenshot of the league board each week should be enough. Good luck everyone!

I'm glad I found it. Saves me a lot of hassle and work. If you think you're going to be away if you wanted you can PM me the scores and your account details and I'll input them in for you but hopefully you should be able to get to a computer once a week.
4689  Other / Meta / Re: Problem to post on: August 09, 2017, 09:11:58 AM
You need to make sure you wait the full six minutes before you post. Logging in and attempting to post also reset the counter. The time limits decrease as you gain activity/rank so it gets easier.
4690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £420 - £20 buy-in on: August 09, 2017, 05:50:35 AM
The BBC is for both just like I originally proposed. If you think Arsenal are going to win then choose the score you think they will win by. IE if you think it will be 1-0 and they win 2-0 then that's still a win for you and you would get ten points. If you chose 2-0 and they won by that exact score you would then get 40 points.
4691  Other / Meta / Re: Temporary signature ban, what's that? on: August 09, 2017, 05:42:22 AM
In some signature campaigns, participants must post in a special Ann Thread. That is against the forum rules.
Users participate in such campaigns get banned from using signatures.
No that's not why.

Wish campaigns would only accept sr members and up, or failing that,  theymos would permanently ban noobs from campaigns.  The sbeer number of people who can't read or write is staggering,  and it's because they're being paid to post.  Nothing new, just adding a bitch.

I've suggested this before. I don't think lower ranks should be allowed a signature at all unless they maybe donate for it but if we allowed say only Members or Full Members and up to have one it would just encourage more shitposting farming on an industrial scale and we'd then have even more threads every day asking how you get a signature like we do with activity (because people only want to know how activity works so they get a bigger signature to join sig campaigns). That's why I think we should remove signatures from ranks altogether and nobody can have one unless they donate. That way it would stop people solely signing up in droves and creating dozens or sometimes hundreds of accounts to milk signature campaigns because they wouldn't be able to afford the $50 fee or whatever for the signature. This would then instantly put a stop to farming and people who are poor and can barely speak English signing up just trying to earn a living. Many of them have no idea about bitcoin and when they can't speak English very well if at all this just leads them to copy and pasting others content em mass and dozens of people are getting caught doing this every day.
4692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £420 - £20 buy-in on: August 09, 2017, 05:30:33 AM

Registered. However it did not allow me to use BitcoinSupremo , the username I used to register in the first link. When I created a nick for the league I was forced to change so my name there is "Supremo1" .

I also see I am the second one registered after Hilariousandco.

By the way why it does not allow me to pick Arsenal for example in the first week. It only lets me move the score up or down.

Maybe that name was too long. Not sure if I've understood you correctly but that's how you make your pics by moving the scores to what you want.

Assuming everyone pays in as promised I will probably make the pot something like:

£400 1st
£80 2nd
£20 3rd
This is ok, please correct value with bitcoin amount.
Good luck all!

I will do when all the money is in.

Joined the league at BBC.  Can we start picking our predictions now or do we have to wait until everyone has their accounts set up?  I'm soooo excited!

Good luck everyone!

No,  you can make your predictions now. I already did mine. 5 people have signed up via the BBC site so far.

Dear
I am already ragesterd this forum.
But I have a mistake for my user name.
Now I want to change my user name.
How can I do this.
Please help me.

You can't. An admin may change it for you but it's unlikely. Your best option is to just create a new account or just carry on with the one with the mistake.

It will be removed automatically as soon as you become a junior member.
4695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £420 - £20 buy-in on: August 08, 2017, 06:23:13 PM
It's not for tips. You just predict your scores via the site and it add the scores up of all the players. I only found the thing today but it saves me a whole lot of tedious work adding up points every week so unless anyone has any serious objections then it'll be mandatory as everything is automated and streamlined.
4696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £420 - £20 buy-in on: August 08, 2017, 06:15:24 PM
Thirteen peeps paid so far.

Can everyone try sign up to this site as it's perfect for what we're doing:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/predictor

It only takes 30 seconds to sign up. Hopefully non-UK users can use it. It asks for a postcode but just google for an English one. Please use your bitcointalk username. I've created a league on there and if you join it it will add all our predictions up for us throughout the season. You can't see each others predictions either but everyone can see the leader-board.

I will PM everyone the pin to join the league.

On there the points system is as follows:

Quote
Predict the exact score and win 40 points. You get 10 points for the correct result (win, loss or draw). The final score is 90 minutes plus stoppage time.

Changed your mind? You can update your predictions up until kick-off.

There's a faq here but it's pretty simple: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36230678

4697  Other / Meta / Re: How many accounts can a person have? on: August 08, 2017, 03:32:32 PM
I have one laptop one internet connection my wife also want start an account after seeing my interest. Is it possible. she can login in new account orelse she can use my account itself in the morning time. please advise which is proper function.

She can have her own account on the same connection, but as above, if you spam from one of them then you're liable to have both accounts banned.
4698  Other / Meta / Re: How many accounts can a person have? on: August 08, 2017, 03:13:08 PM
Yeah, very likely they're the same and no, this sort of spam farming isn't acceptable or allowed. Unfortunately there's been hundreds if not thousands of accounts farmed in the Chinese section and a lot of them are just taking advantage of the lax moderation in that sub and botting the press section. I'll PM an admin about it.
4699  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO certification service needed on: August 08, 2017, 02:58:26 PM
This is a good idea but there is no exact way to determine if the ico is legit. They can pass all the copy pasting tests , all the software tests, smart contract , transperant ico but still this won't certainly be enough because investors are investing in something which is irreversible and after getting certified the owner can change his mind or not deliver what they promised in that situation there's nothing we can do. Secondly they will start adding sponsored which leads to even more bullshit and finally if the guy who verifies wants to make more money he may just ask to give more funds to certify their project. The idea is good but there is a less chance to work.

It's not meant to be an absolute guarantee that an ICO is legit, but more just of a vetting process to minimise risk. You could have all the qualifications to look after kids and pass all the background checks, but still doesn't mean to say they still wont abuse them. This is no different. It will at least weed out a lot of lazy ICOs who can't even be bothered putting in the minimum amount of work.
4700  Other / Meta / Re: How many accounts can a person have? on: August 08, 2017, 02:53:48 PM
There are no limits to the number of accounts you can have, but that doesn't mean to say you can spam or make low quality posts with them as you're liable to have them all banned if caught so I would take that into consideration if you';re planning to have multiple accounts for signature campaigns.
