4681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale bought $150 worth of Bitcoins during the dip. on: December 09, 2021, 12:49:04 AM
Well, these aren't good news, because it's a clear signal bitcoin is still very concentrated in few hands, feeding the narrative bitcoin is manipulatable, controlled by few individuals and benefical only for a small group of whales. The correct would be if new or small investors were buying the dip, not the whales.

Anyway, the profit made by this anonymous investor (the third largest bitcoin holder) was insane! It is said he bought 118,405 BTC for an average price of 21,160$ per coin, since 2019. Considering bitcoin at 50,000$ right now, this investor has made so far 28,840$ profit per bitcoin since the beginning. Total profit of 3,414,800,200$ dolllars! Shocked
4682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resistance and support price on: December 08, 2021, 09:16:51 PM
It is clear that support points do not mean anything. It is clear that we are talking about something that is dangerously fragile whenever we fall, we end up falling all the time and it causes the price to drop under support point without even hesitation. We had a support point recently, we were above 55k and from 55k to 45k we had many support points, what happened with them? Nothing. We broke under them in a few days very easily.

The only silver lining about this situation is that we are talking about resistance points as well, they are just as much fragile and whenever we want to move up, there is nothing that is stopping us there neither and we can increase very easily.
For a while those support levels meant something, but from the moment the market became unstable on, those levels have been broken and now it will take a while until we see new solid support in bitcoin price. At least this kind of interpretation helps us to identify how bitcoin is doing on short run and what its tendencies are. At this moment the market is somehow volatile, although nothing too bad as it was already seen years ago.

Today bitcoin bounced back to 48,000$ and in less than 3 hours later it was already hitting 51,000$ again! That is pretty interesting, but we still need to wait until we can classify a new range of price as support level here.
4683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: December 08, 2021, 09:00:33 PM
Risk free bets is something that you could only acquired with those rigged or fixed matches.
This is a double edge sword, because although fixed matches guarantee a risk free bet for those who know about the scheme behind the curtains, for most gamblers it won't be a risk free bet, as the favorite player (on who most people is going to bet) is going to lose in order to reward a decent profit to the minority of gamblers who know about the rigged game and who bet on the underdog for this reason, knowing he will be winner for sure.
In gambling we need to be aware about all the possible scenarios, especially in sports betting, where provably fair isn't assured and human interference makes all the difference in the final results.
4684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Financial Guard Rail ? on: December 08, 2021, 06:43:42 PM
Isn't this the same as signing an incapacity/disability certificate? When the person transfers the responsability for his own life to a third party service that is what it looks like. But in some cases I must say it can be necessary, especially if the individual doesn't have a trustful close familiar or relative who could help him with his gambling addiction issues and financial management.
On the other hand, I think everyone should do the maximum possible effort to avoid needing to rely in such services, just like someone should do his best to not get dependant on medicines or any other stuff which removes responsabilities from daily life or disconnect the person from reality.
4685  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think does this Cities have that we dont? on: December 07, 2021, 08:40:40 PM
I believe just because a country is innovative it doesn't mean they are going to stand out in crypto currency sphere. Their focus in search and development for innovations might be addressed to another matters such as energy production, health sector, tourism, accessibility and so on... What means crypto currency or digital finances stay in second plan.

In the case of top 10 leading bitcoin cities I see what they have in common are the crypto businesses (especially popular exchanges) operating in their territories, added to the fact those are traditional cities known for the development of new startups, entrepreneurship activities and financial opportunities in general, what makes them fertile spots for investors and innovations related to the financial world, naturally including bitcoin and its altcoins pairs at some point, as we are already seeing right now.
4686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AXS and SLP. Why the price of SLP is falling but AXS is rising? on: December 07, 2021, 07:49:31 PM
After the discussion on this thread, SLP was able to pump back to 0,11$ once more at the beginning of November, what was really impressive for a token with unlimited supply, but since then we are slowly going down again, already back to the 0,03$ for first time since April.

It doesn't look great for players and investors, although I still believe it can bounce up sooner or later because the news are very optimistic regards AXS, what also means they are optimistic regards Axie Infinity game as a whole. Consequently part of this success will impact SLP price positively again. Furthermore, speculation might also play a role in order to pump SLP. That is possible considering how cheap it is.
4687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiner's with Zero investment. on: December 07, 2021, 07:26:51 PM
That is actually true. Poor, but smart bitcoin adopters have made a lot of profit (in bitcoin, not dollar) during the early days when bitcoin was still in the three or four houses digits. Instead of converting their funds to fiat, they have just held their precious coins, waiting for the perfect moment to finally enjoy the fruits of their long run visionary patience, that hasn't came yet for many, even thought bitcoin was able to reach its ATH recently.

On those times it wasn't exciting to think about the profitability possibilities. But seeing from today's perpective back then, it's insanely incredible! Just an example: Some years ago it was possible to make 100,000 satoshis from a faucet run which shouldn't take 2 hours of your time, that is equivalent to a 50$ daily income taking the currently market prices!

Just think if you didn't spend any satoshis you earned back then (that happened for real, it's not an hypothetical scenario), you could have accumulated 1500$ dollars in a monthly basis, working only 2 hours a day!
4688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: December 06, 2021, 10:07:39 PM
To my own knowledge and i will also be glad if i can get some opinions  to me before you ask what, ask why. Why are you investing?
Investing is like a project. All projects have a goal or finished item.
What is your goal? Be specific. Getting rich is not specific. One million saved or $1000.00 a month in dividends is specific.
Your goal should be your realistic. One million is realistic. One billion is not. One thousand in dividends is realistic, $10,000 per month, no.
Define your time horizon. Months, years? The time will help you to stay on target and provides measurable times.
Always take risk into account. What is your risk tolerance?
These are interesting thoughts for newbie or irresponsible investors (who are plenty in crypto universe) adapt their strategies in a more efficient way.

A responsible goal is the most important aspect of an investment and without it there won't be effective results. And unfortunatelly it's often that we see investors falling for obvious scams which promise exorbitant returns in short time periods in crypto currency environment, because they want to get rich quickly, without waiting for too long or even respecting their financial limits in a realistic way.
4689  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are some government officials like saying what they don't understand on: December 06, 2021, 09:27:34 PM
I believe it happens because these officials aren't prepared to occupy the spots they do inside the public administration. Many of these people are put there by politicians to act in a political way, what means they don't have technical knowledge and experience to deal with technical matters, like crypto currencies, so they end giving inaccurate statements when confronted by reality, like the one presented in OP.
Not only that, but these officials are also totally harmful to their countries, because as they are clueless about what to do, they end presenting disastrous solutions through regulations to what they consider a problem, that is bitcoin and decentralized crypto currencies in general usage.
4690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Is HODL the only strategy? on: December 06, 2021, 08:48:48 PM
To hold is the most common strategy used by investors because it's considered the safest way of investing by many, since you don't need to rely your coins to third party hands, such as the investment platforms which pay a small annual interest percentage over your coins. So, of course to hold isn't the only strategy, but I can't say what is the best one for you, as it's a very personal choice that can be only taken by each and every individual.

I say that because investing your bitcoins involve risks that you must be aware before doing so. And if someone tells you to put your money somewhere and if for some reason it goes wrong at some point, you will want to penalize that person who advised you to make the investment for the issue you hypothetically might face futurely.
4691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice technique on: December 06, 2021, 07:29:47 PM
I'm not aware of any techniques which may help gamblers to win on dice game. I just know some techniques which can help gamblers to extend their game sessions before losing their entire bankrolls, while still being competitive inside the game for a while (on short run).

If there were a technique to assist gamblers winning on dice game against the house, every casinos we see around would have already been gone bankrupt or at least they would have excluded dice game from their platforms, that is the unconfortable truth...

For sure!  Grin but there's no proven method that will increase the chance of every gambler who played dice, like what you have said it can extend your stay but in most cases, due to greed and aggressiveness instead of quitting while you already win some amount, the gambler will keep pushing and trying to win more.

At the end of the day, the bankroll will be sucked by the house, leaving nothing for the gambler.

This where gambling site really got that edge against the gambler, out of control and emotions. Grin Tongue
Yes, nothing can be done in order to overcome the house edge advantage the casino has over gamblers. On long run the loss will inevitably happen, and the more aggressive and greedy the person is, worse it will be for him financially and emotionally talking, unless the gambler had an infinite bankroll and the bet sizes allowed by the casino were also infinite...

If techniques and better long run profit chances are what OP is looking for, I think he should look for sports betting instead.
4692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 06, 2021, 06:57:36 PM
Has that information been passed around? I haven't heard anything about Pogba leaving...

Pogba has clearly shown the indication to leave on a free transfer this summer and its everywhere in the news. Manchester United offered him another contract but he refused to sign it so this pretty much mean that he is done with the team. Unless the team offer him a ridiculous amount of money then I dont think he is going to stay but that cant be done, there is no way that they could afford that much with Ronaldo in the team

Apparently I let it slip past my ears over the summer. Then the question remains where he can go, I do not know why, but I do not see him at any top club, except Manchester United, he already looks like a native there, but at other clubs I can hardly imagine him. Do you think he will leave in winter or next summer?
Accordingly to spanish newspaper Marca, I've read Pogba was seen in conversation with the president of PSG recently, leading to rumours that could be his possible next destiny.

Another possible team would be Real Madrid, which has already attempted to hire Pogba in the past, although without success due to the high sums of money asked by Manchester United to free him. But now the situation is different since there won't be any costs involved for the transfer process at the end of the season. That could be finally Real Madrid's opportunity to make a contract with Pogba!
4693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resistance and support price on: December 06, 2021, 05:55:23 PM
The most recent news regards the new coronavirus omicron variant are positive for the market, since it was said although the transmission rates are high, it's not being responsible for serious cases among infected people. Specialists and politicians are satisfied with this possibility they have been observing so far and now I just expected the market answers positively to this, including crypto currencies' market.
Actually, I'm happy to see bitcoin almost reaching to 50,000$ again after the bloodbath we had in the previous days. That still makes me believe we aren't in a bearish season and that bitcoin still has potential to hit a new ATH before 2021 finishes.

4695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to $53k or down to $48k? (Bullish Scenario) on: December 05, 2021, 06:02:58 PM
Today bitcoin is fighting bravely to reach 50,000$ again, but when it is almost doing it, the price falls sharply to 48,000$ or even 47,000$, recovering right after for a new attempt of breaking the resistance level. That is a signal many traders are exiting at 49,700$-49,800$ range, probably aiming short run gains.
We need to watch the prices for the next days to confirm if there is a bearish tendency or if it is just some big fishes cashing out their funds and giving the opportunity to someone else buy the dip and play the game.
4696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $550,000 gambling on sports this month on: December 05, 2021, 05:14:18 PM
Wow that's some hefty profits in there. Congratulations on the win. But the screenshot shows that you wagered $4.2 million to win $550k.
Now that's some insane amount of money for gambling. I wonder what was the capital you started gambling with to wager this much.

The reason why people don't post about winnings is because it attracts unwanted attention and messages from scammers.
In order to make those kind of profits the amount wagered seems to be about right, it is the same with trading really, if someone is claiming they are making a fortune but they tell you they are using a capital that is too small then I do not believe them at all, as that will require incredible performance on their part, winning 550k by wagering 4.2 million is still an amazing performance but it is withing the realms of what is possible.
Indeed. If the proof in OP is legit, the author really deserved that winning for risking such an amount of money! Imagine the self confidence and emotional control someone must have to bet above 4$ million of dollars. That is truly admirable.

But everyone around should be careful, because although in this case we have a successful inspiring gambling story, the opposite could have also happened and then we would have seen a big loss!
4697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: December 05, 2021, 04:37:03 PM
Considering the supply vs global population = 0.003BTC per person to go around.
How did you arrive at this mate, thought if the world population shared the available bitcoins we could be getting less than 0.003 BTC .
21,000,000 (total bitcoins) / 7,000,000,000 (world population) = 0.003 BTC.
Broadly talking, OP is right in his calculation.

0.1 BTC looks a pretty decent amount of money in that scenario. Even if only 50% of total world's population adopted it, a tenth of a bitcoin would be already enough to live confortably while generating passive income from the total sum of coins. That is why people should focus in getting bitcoin at all costs, doesn't matter if they are going to be able to have 1 full bitcoin or not. Any fractions of it will worth a lot in the future.
4698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: December 05, 2021, 03:54:56 PM
Airdrops are a great way to attract people into newly-fond crypto projects. They're basically "free money" for not doing anything in return. Some projects have been widely successful after an airdrop, while others have gone all the way down the drain. There's been a upsurge of airdrop hunters looking to "milk rewards" from the system, effectively dumping all of their coins/tokens on the market for profit. While most projects have been quite flexible in the eligibility for an airdrop, one project decided to take the stand by adopting measures to prevent abuse. Parachain Swap's airdrop has been quite controversial as it only rewarded a small portion of its users. The vast majority of the people weren't rewarded (especially airdrop hunters), resulting in a decline of the token's price.

Do you think it's a good idea to penalize airdrop hunters? Will this do more harm or good to the adoption of crypto/Blockchain tech? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
If hunters are abusing an airdrop campaign, developers are right to penalize them, because it's usually stated in the application rules participants can't do some things, especially joining it with multiple accounts (what is really common), and if they are caught doing that, of course they shouldn't be paid. But at same time, I also understand some developers are the cheater ones who will use any excuses to penalize their employees in order to distribute less coins as possible to decrease the dump effect in the market, while being promoted for free.
4699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to accumulate more bitcoin other than buying with FIAT. on: December 05, 2021, 03:01:30 PM
Back in the day there was a faucet where you could solve a captcha and earn up to 5 Bitcoins per day.  Wish those days still existed lol

No one knew that Bitcoin could reach 4, let alone 5 figures.

Now we see faucets dispensing similar amounts for their own coins but I doubt they would reach the same level.
As far as I know the only worthful faucet platform right now is Cointiply. You can earn there by doing tasks, surveys and running apps on your mobile device. The good news is that every countries have access to at least few surveys daily there, different from most platforms I've seen which don't give any chances for third world countries citizens to earn by doing surveys.
Cointiply also pays daily interest over users' balances and run different bonuses and promotions from times to times. Without referrals nobody is going to make a lot of money from this site, but it's still a lot better than anything else disponible right now. As OP is looking for a way to accumulate btc without buying it, that is an alternative.

An Indonesian youtuber offers a kind of advertisement for the online gambling site company 1XBET
Kazakhstan man won $2.000.000 on gambling site 1XBET.
1XBET and 1XBIT are the same company?

I not forcing you to watch the video.
below is a screenshot ~~ https://ibb.co/Bn7Pthn
What do you think?
There is actually no valid proof both 1xbit and 1xbet are the same company nor is there any linked trace both are owned or managed by the same agency. For now we only have rumors about both company been managed by the same agency and until a valid proof is made there is no evidence to holding their linkage although both still have a slight similarity in their features
It's a well known fact 1xbit belongs to the same group (1xCorp N.V) which owns 1xbet, with the exception 1xbit is a casino focused in crypto currencies, while 1xbet is a fiat casino. You can find this information in different threads on this forum or at google. I think it's important especially to you know this, because you are actually advertising their brand, so you need to give accurate informations about the business you are working for.
