4681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a good shape? on: November 18, 2020, 11:30:45 PM
Guys I haven't been here for a while and I'm wondering if Bitcoin is in a better shape than last time I checked 2 years ago.

Thanks
You better get thankful that you are back again so you can witness where we are now today and see the real situation.

Yeah, we are apparently in good shape, you'll be seeing it close to its ATH like the last time you saw it back in 2017. And people around you will surely tell that. Then to ask you, what are your plan now? If you have that BTC's in your wallet, better to let it go now and so you won't miss again the opportunity.

4682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another billionaire just invested in bitcoin on: November 18, 2020, 10:47:43 PM
Ain't this to wonder, the price of Bitcoin moving high again and that mostly it caught attention to the public just like how 2017 makes a huge drama where a lot of millionaires are investing Bitcoin then. This person gets an interest because of what he sees but I don't know if he ask for some advice from others and knows the risk he has to face.

This will help the market to rally more and hitting for $18k. And this person will give some encouragement to others but just to give some advice, don't get inspired by these huge pumps and think it will never stop, but rather to get prepared for the time it burst.
4683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 18, 2020, 10:16:27 PM
All the points presented by op on this thread are pretty accurated, but I would add that the main reason why gamblers keep losing without limits is impulsivity. That is the key which makes the gamblers vulnerable to break the *golden rule*, to fall for the classy environment and free drinks and food. If the gambler is a controlled person he won't commit these mistakes even if they are very interesting and flashy.
Stop being impulsive and you will stop losing without limits, that is the main precaution a gambler should take in my opinion.
That's to know your limit and stick to it. But this not actually been working usually when the time we win, it sometimes we miss that kind of limitation but overspending. I can see it to myself, it is the mindset of every individual, but somehow it is really hard to control ourselves especially when we are already addicted to gambling unlike when you are just a casual gambler.

But to tell everyone,  we can't see any assurance about winning in gambling, and if we assess ourselves and have the list of the times we lost and the amount, we probably see that we lose a lot than winning.
4684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 17, 2020, 12:11:53 PM
This had been an issue for a long time, crypto had been a gateway for illegal activities such as money laundering. Due to Anonymity, some people are using crypto to move huge illegal money, without leaving a trace easy and fast. Even how strict the law is, people will find ways.
But we don't need to put this blame on Bitcoin. It is really to regulate transactions in using crypto because of its anonymity feature, plus mixing services. We could say that Bitcoin had its purpose and role in the market but it is very unfortunate that this is also a tool to increase the numbers of illegal activities. I'd somehow not to like it but it was already been started, some people also just follow what they see.

if we think that this could be stopped? No, it is impossible. Crypto had no difference from fiat money, they are still a part of illegality either we like it or not.
4685  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Targets for 2020 on: November 17, 2020, 09:42:51 AM
Well we have seen Bitcoin nearly touch $16k last night, with that in mind what do you think is in stock for Bitcoin for the remainder of 2020? Do you think we will see it break past $20k?

I can not say anything before Christmas and New Year, these two festivals may highly affect on bitcoin price and market. I am sure people may use bitcoin to celebrate the events. Anyways same thing happen in 2017. People sold their all coins which decrease the bitcoin price from $20,000 to $7,000. This crash just breaks the record of bitcoin falling. 2021 may bring more improvement and I hope we'll see $20+ next year

Anyone will sell their Bitcoin and followed by the dumpers. I've found it normal at that time, many crypto holders will convert their Bitcoin into their local currency to buy food and gifts in the market. If we could notice that in the previous years, the market price will surge in the 3rd quarter and it dumps as the Christmas season is over. Could be this possible to happen again and again.

We are still far from $20k, currently at $16,700 will probably end up to $17k-$18k range.
4686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about day trading Eth? on: November 17, 2020, 09:07:15 AM
I just tried day trading in eth and the price fluctuations which happens continuously is something where we can make profit in daily basis, guys from today morning to evening I could have earned nearly 15 to 20$.
True, I am making between 1% to 5% by day trading ETH. When do you know how to trade and learn the market properly, it's actually pretty easy to get profit from ETH trading. But, not everyone can do that because it drains your real life sanity and mental, test your greediness and other stuff. If they fail to do one of them, they will lose their money.
Everyone have a favorite coin/s to trade, that ETH is my second option next to BTC. In fact, I've used them both together if I have more time to spend in trading. It is just quite different when you are in day-trading especially when the market isn't very active. Base on my experience, when it comes to day-trading, BTC is more profitable than ETH. But as you have said, depending on how you work on your trade and that strategies are a big factor that could affect the results either be profiting or not, either be BTC or ETH.
4687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 16, 2020, 11:29:43 PM
Transparency is very important and to make a legit check those people behind but this is not a ticket for us to say that they are worthy of investment. And this is a big difference to those who keep their team members anonymously as it builds doubts and worries. Because to ask what is the purpose of hiding the developers if there is nothing illegal inside?

If I'm going to choose then, nothing to spend time digging whose behind that wall but to focus on the legitimacy of the project. And I should have to pick projects that have been transparent to the community.
4688  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 16, 2020, 10:52:30 PM
We continuously seeing impressive market pumps but can't be this enough to say that we are ready for $20k. I don't want to disclose this chance as it gonna be possible to happen but then, it is to see that the more we are close to $17k, the dumps had also pulled it down.

I'm not going to overacted because of what shown lately, the market is still unpredictable, dumps and pumps still there, we are still seeing a roller coaster-like scheme. If we are able to surpass the $17k wall ( as we are very close to that), it was a great achievement for Bitcoin this time. TBH, I'm not going to expect $20k this time but of course, still hoping that.
4689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 16, 2020, 03:27:59 PM
It is really common to see many people losing more money while trying to recover. I had some periods like that too. I learned something from it. The most important thing is not being greedy. When you lose the control, greed can cause you make stupid bets and lose much more money. You should always keep that in mind when betting.
It finds it so easy to say but really hard to execute IRL. That does not wonder why many were still become blind and thinking to spend more every time they gamble will able to help them recover their losses. Nothing to holds that but that is very important and to open our eyes that there is no way to have them back.
The more we think about it, the more we become desperate and can't make good decisions. One thing we need to practice is to accept losses and never think that we can get them back into our hands.
4690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another Defi platform got hacked again on: November 15, 2020, 11:50:39 PM
This is another story and probably another lie to tell from inside. This kind of excuses isn't new to us and ain't that wonder how this new project had come to a lot of reason for their failure and brought into a scenario which not all of us tend to believe. This could also be a reason why investors have to skip new projects but rather to focus on old projects. The risk that these new projects had brought to us worries a lot of people and this also a reason that most of them have failed.
4691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 15, 2020, 11:20:22 PM
$17k is real and real speculation but to go much more behind from that price is something not to give in easily. The speculation for bitcoin that it will have six digit numbers of value is nothing but to pump bitcoin by those who want a double easy profit.
That speculation of 6 digits ain't nothing.

There really is a chance that we can see that but as of the moment, we have to cross from different price levels for bitcoin to attain it. At this time, bitcoin is stretching and going back a bit but it isn't that much of a pullback.

Unlike the pushing of the price that it's able to reach $16,000. The correction isn't a lot and tolerable.
That's right and we can't just think that it will soar high faster. The situation can tell and obviously, we saw that the trend even getting harder to move high. The mindset of the people now had already changed, not like it was happening in last 2017 where many of them (mostly newcomers) jump into crypto without thinking wisely. People are not buying today because they are also thinking about the dumps if the hypes will burst. Their experience in previous years had taught them to act differently and not in FOMO.
4692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 14, 2020, 11:58:49 PM
I have no fun thing chatting with others. Keeping it solo is what I preferred. I don't want to be disturbed, I'll keep myself in focus while gambling as I consider gambling a serious thing to deal with. Though we think that this is just for fun, actually it is, but we don't just let it loose in our hands easily. Of course, we need also to focus on what we do.
4693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Kell Brook vs Terence Crawford November 14 on: November 13, 2020, 10:15:53 PM
Here's some words from Kell Brook:

Quote
“I think you’d have to put this one up there,” Brook said when asked how big a win would be. “Because of what I’ve been through and because everybody is writing me off. Nobody is giving me a chance in this fight.

“Look at Joe Calzaghe against Jeff Lacy. That’s one performance that springs to mind for me. How Joe went out and dominated that fight. That’s what I'm looking for.

“This guy is arguably the best fighter in the world. Me not making welterweight for so many years, I’ve had my eyes injuries and my losses, everybody is saying I’m washed up. So for me to go out there and to put the performance on that’s needed to capture that world title, I think you'd have to put that right up there. You’ve got to.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/kell-brook-motivated-calzaghe-lacy-job-on-crawford--153219

He felt very confident that he can pull an "Teo Lopez" upset here, so we will see. hehehe

@Kasabus - yeah, probably Teo Lopez started this whole upset thingy this year but a underdog like Brook is worth to put a bet, even at half a stake.  Smiley

That's likely the underdog wanted to win over the big guy which is not impossible. He must have to prove it otherwise people will laugh into him.
The confidence that he brings in his mind is a driving tool to win. But I'm not sure if that enough for him to win.
No, I will still put my bet to Crawford, I have this feeling no matter how Brook makes a final word that we wanted to finish his opponent.
4694  Economy / Speculation / Re: This rally is driven by institutional investors - what are the implications? on: November 13, 2020, 01:47:49 PM
Big companies are now pushing themselves to adopt the future digitalization system where Bitcoin is a reasonable investment to take now. They'll be buying in volume and that hugely affects the price trend making it high.

If we could read this article they are preserving more Bitcoin for future used and more companies will come to follow then.
Quote
The website bitcointreasuries.org is curating bitcoin treasures held in reserve by publicly traded companies from across the world. At the time of writing, 13 companies with a combined total 598,237 BTC, or 2.85% of the total supply of 21 million BTC
It was just a few companies who have already done this but it goes far already and has a huge impact on the market. As we expecting more and more establishments will accept bitcoin, the more we see such sentiment.
4695  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Directory on: November 13, 2020, 12:53:38 PM

We don't charge any site for a simple listening. We ourself choose the sites we deem to be trusted enough after testing.

We updated our gambling section once again, take a glance:
https://bitpr0.com/gambling
That is good and that is the best way ( I think) to communicate with others especially when you feel doubts about certain gambling sites.
You are running at good with your business, I see you are working it to gain trust which the community had wanted to happen to all parties that had offered the same services. What I ask is not to get tempted by some money offerings that some sites are doing, this is not talking about money in returns but the reputation that you can make it proud until in the future.
4696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 13, 2020, 12:21:03 PM
I consider this an indication that corrections might soon happen when FOMO got over. This kind of emotion will ruin the momentum we have and huge dumps to follow as these emotional traders and investors dump instantly after seeing the price started to decline.

As the price moving high, the more people are buying Bitcoin and the more they become in FOMO. How that sad if the situation will turn back the same as 2017 Bullrun ended shortly? As a trader, we need to take a look at this, not only to focus on the market volume but much better to have them both.
4697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's discuss: How big will the next correction be? And when will it occur? on: November 13, 2020, 11:26:49 AM
It's a wild guess. 40-50% correction is quite possible or 70-80%, just like what happens last 2017 after the Bullrun ends.
Not knowing yet and anything will happen in the future, even tomorrow is a big surprise.

The current momentum is pretty impressive, Bitcoin price keeps moving high, and closely it reaches to $17k. How far that this hype will end? Nothing will know as well and just the same asking how big is the next correction? But for now, I'm not praying for the correction but I was asking that we are able to hit its peak again.
4698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 13, 2020, 10:54:37 AM
I tell some of my friends before about bitcoin but none of them asking me back for it, how to invest Bitcoin and we make money from it? I believe they have no interest in cryptocurrency and probably they don't want to risk their money and time. Maybe they are not curious yet about this, could be sooner they will turn back to me asking HOW? Of course, I'm still willing to enlighten them, give them some ideas, and to give them.

It is just to say that Bitcoin is far known to everyone. Many were still not know about Bitcoin and so a reason that they are not asking it yet.
4699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asking About Riobet Casino on: November 13, 2020, 08:39:41 AM
Well, upon checking the sites information (creation, etc) it seems old and legit as well as the promotions and I usually signed up and it's easy. I got 70 free spins and manage to get $5.7 from it not bad but I guess just bad luck on my side (coz if it's real stash I'd be on the losing side) but to claim those you need to deposit first. By the way, they only support Bitcoin since I can't find any crypto they support, they're into fiat I suppose that's why they're not popular here.

I really think that this is old casino as newer casino offers a lot of coins right now and too often to offer just a Bitcoin casino.
I think it's good that until now they are still operating but I think they should create their official ANN thread here on the forum.

ya.ya.yo!
maybe they should if they want to promote their project here but doubted if they are willing to do so because they are quite then since their launch. And probably the reason why they never create such a thread for their project is that they are not accepting any cryptocurrency but only fiat money which I think is not necessary for them.

Well, to give them freedom and work with their own, promoting their gambling sites. Since they are legit and no scam accusations have heard, so there is no reason for gamblers to worried, only they need to enjoy their time and consume their free spins.
4700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 13, 2020, 02:53:16 AM
I'm not sure if that gonna be happening because most casinos are using chips instead of having fiat on the table, the same thing we do with Bitcoin for gambling. It is not important if we gamble with real Bitcoin or not, it is all about security, and casinos implied such a thing for the benefits of the gambler unless if it is allowed to use real money.

However, Bitcoin hasn't printed just like fiat money, and even we like to use it in gambling offline with real Bitcoin but that seems impossible if we don't have any of them.
