4681  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I start betting on sports? on: May 31, 2021, 02:54:34 AM
This is perhaps the easiest and the quickest way to lose your money.

I simply gave the option to the OP if underage then answer is no. And if above 18, and have some pocket money left then can try the risk, if make money you can go and if you lose that money then forget the trips and all. Then you have to sacrifice it.
There is no need for such sacrifice. In sports betting you will really earn some but there will be more times that one shall lose money on it.

Especially if OP is just new to it and wanting to try. Nothing bad to try it but it is hard to do it as a means of income. It should be done when he has his own money and would love to bet on the matches he thinks can take advantage.
4682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How i define scam project? on: May 30, 2021, 09:12:28 AM
I am new in crypto sector. I was participated many airdrop and bounties. but most of them were scam. They didn't pay their promoter.
Check the team and try to search the names on different social media or just google them out. If it happens that there's no way to know the name of those people involved in that team.

You should check the whitepaper, have it read for a while, and assess if it's a promising project. Well, the Internet is going to be your weapon in figuring them out, you need to take time searching for those factors.
4683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Curacao license scam on: May 30, 2021, 08:39:06 AM
Gambling license is one way to check if the site is legit is not. But there are other ways to check if the site is dubious or not. Check the reviews like from trustpilot and other review sites. If you are not satisfied, you can test it on your own, and use small funds. You will know if the site will scam you once you actually experience it. But having Curacao license is not the only way to check the legitimacy of the casino. Everyone can basically claim they have one.
I reckon this idea.

It's the first step that the casino is serious with their business but it's true that it doesn't mean they own it, they won't play unfairly.

Those steps that has been mentioned can be done to check the legitimacy of a casino if you don't trust such a license even if it's coming from Curacao.
4684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Buy when there's blood in the streets, even if the blood is your own." on: May 30, 2021, 08:11:36 AM
Keep doing it.

Many are forgetting that they should do their own thing when the market is bleeding. Sadly, it's inevitable that there will be complaints that their money is starting to become less due to the state of the market.

But if you've been here for quite a long, you're doing the right thing of keeping more and buying some more for your own accumulation.

Yes,  I have 10 limit buys on BTC from 30K up.  And doing similar on 4 ALT coins.
Great then!

I'm sure that you'll be one of those folks that will be happy after this correction. Whilst some are still thinking if they're going to accumulate, we've done it already.

And it's going to be too late for them when they do.
4685  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto journey on: May 30, 2021, 07:46:18 AM
This is an inspiring story.I have also been into crytocurrency for almost three years now and have made pretty much from it was able to pay my school fees and house rent with crytocurrency  . In the future I aspire to buy a car and rent an apartment with my altcoins the journey is just getting started hopefully we hope to made much more from it.
Just keep your faith and hang on with the market. I'm sure that those things that you desire will be reached through cryptocurrencies.

It's going to be really possible as we're already in the process of seeing higher lows and people who have been ignoring it will be missing a lot in the upcoming years.

And they'll say that they should've been in crypto earlier than doubting it.
4686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Simple Ways Crypto Whales Manipulate the Market on: May 30, 2021, 07:15:47 AM
We should really hold if they're manipulating the price. They all want to get the best price before selling and if they're sending the prices down. That only means that they want to have it at the cheapest price so they send fud to the market.

And once it's already down, they're buying all of those cheap bitcoins.
4687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is here to stay, do not panic on: May 30, 2021, 06:42:06 AM
Newbies do not panic, china have banned crypto up to 5 times since 2012 already and look around you, all those countries that put ban on crypto are the ones with people buying crypto the most, for example Nigeria and india there is no reason to panic because of China ban, also I would like to tell you guys that BTC have died too many times before, this is a prove that crypto is here to stay
Yeah, they've done that so many times and the world is still in shock when they're hearing about that news. I'm not yet on crypto since 2012 but I've witnessed that they've banned it a few years ago.

They have recycled that FUD all over again and again and the world is buying that FUD and they will never stop until they pushes the market too bad and low.
4688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: May 30, 2021, 06:19:06 AM
As if the fees really are a big hindrance for the gamblers, whatever the market situation, gamblers would still continue to play and enjoy. Besides, a 10 USD fee difference is not really huge, it will not stop them from gambling
For the usual gamblers, it doesn't matter. But not every one of us has that the same situation that we don't care about the fees. There are those small gamblers that a $2-$5 fee is already a big matter to them.
They are stupid if they will force using bitcoin. We have a lot of altcoins as an alternative, they just simply use it and their worries will be gone.
With some altcoins that you can pay less than $1 as a transaction fee, gambling should not be a problem.

Let's continue having fun, regardless of the market situation.
I won't call them stupid but there really are gamblers that depending on it for their gambling needs and some casinos don't accept altcoins and mainly focuses with bitcoin.

trading is different from gambling so we should stop comparing it or making it like they should compe together when making a decision.
The comparison of gambling and trading I think will never stop. From the perspective of other people, they'll always look at both things as the same.
I agree unless they will use a stable coin in gambling.
Yes, that's another different thing.
4689  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social media advice to newbies on: May 30, 2021, 05:57:05 AM
I still can't believe how many people still falls for it. Someone I know from Discord got scammed out of $500.
Too bad that there really are people that are becoming a victim of this typical scam.

Even if you have time, do not waste on it. I agree to op, block and ignore them.
4690  Other / Off-topic / Re: I work in the Crypto Gambling industry AMA on: May 30, 2021, 05:31:05 AM
Probably not. Even the lowest positions in the company would be considered senior positions elsewhere. The casino I work for is more focused on having a few employees of a really high quality(and with experience for that matter).
I would normally share our email for applications, but that would kinda compromise the anonymity here.
Yes.

That would really be a hint on what company you're working for. That's okay, I'm just taking a chance and if that would be easy to say that but I know that it's an improper way of getting hired.

Thanks for your answers, that's all.
If you wanna work in the industry it's all about contacting casinos that you like, and offer them something that they don't currently have (Which you think they need). That's really about it.

And no problem.
Ok.

Thanks for that tip.

That only means that it is also like working as a freelancer. As long as I've got something to offer and add to their service that they need which is on me, I'll get hired easily.

I'm starting to drive lately.

I have my car and I really love driving it. Not a manual person but sure it's a stress reliever and I'm liking to have long drives which really relieves me from stress.
4694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: May 29, 2021, 08:07:00 PM
I didn't think about it. But in fact, the more bitcoins you have, the better it will be in the future. The price will definitely rise due to the shortage.
You should think about it as it's very important which can determine you having a good future.

Owning 1 Bitcoin will change your life in the future. As we're all leaning towards a better future and hoping that the price of bitcoin will skyrocket again, 1 Bitcoin will be a good goal of owning into these times why it's not yet crossing 6 digits.

I recognize him, davincij15.

I just know him when some news has posted about him I think in 2018, the bear market for which he had predicted about buying bitcoin at least $1 which is on the picture you've made.

Early believers will really be rewarded.
4697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 29, 2021, 05:16:28 PM

The person is weak and sinful ... I cannot condemn this person.

Yes we should understand these people, people with weak character are like this, they easily fall into something that can excite them, and if they can't control their addiction, their lives become miserable and hopeless, instead of condemning them we should understand them and offer and give them help, gambling addiction can be overcome, they just need understanding and help.
It's easy to understand them.

But next to it is how people like him would have to recover from this experience. If he wants to get some help, he can do it.

And in short, things will depend on how he's going to act after this big loss.

What's your position for that casino? and how much is your salary? I'm just curious to know how much people like you earn working actually on a casino.

In order to answer as well as accurate, this is a requirement I'm afraid.
Does this means that your company asked you to make an AMA?
Can't really disclose that I'm afraid. But I will say - I live in Denmark and I'm in my early 20's. I make more than most people will ever make here(or anywhere in general for that matter).

And no, they haven't.
Ok, thanks for those answers.

I understand that you can't really disclose any figure that you're earning and it's very confidential for most of the workers. I did just had a chance if I can get a number but it's okay and I fully understand it.
No problem.

And I will say, if we just take other sites into consideration instead, I'll say that the gambling industry is not necessarily paying higher than other industries as per se. The biggest opportunity is really that it's mainly remote work(in the crypto field). Lots of people takes knowledge from other industries and brings it into the industry. The 'real money' casino industry is quite different from the crypto one in terms of how the companies work in pretty much every way.
Thanks for that information.

There's really more to know how most of the cryptocasinos operate. I like the idea of working remotely and it's been a thing that has been being done by a lot of people even before the pandemic.

Maybe there are some hiring positions in your company that would fit to me?  Roll Eyes
4700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 29, 2021, 09:42:05 AM
If you are going to check on it further there are a lot of shrinks that can be consulted for gambling addiction, addiction in general. I would be careful as to what these doctors will give you as treatment. For me, the advise and the plans of action would be sufficient. If they will give me a medicine or a supplement, then that is a whole different story. Some of these medicines that they prescribe might not be good for me. So I need to be sure that I will not drink any medicine nor buy the medicine that they recommend.
Why would someone be careful with the treatment that's going to be given by those consulting doctors? That treatment includes those plans of action.

It's not all about medicine but also with help and therapy.
