4681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I pessimistic or is bitcoin still over hyped? on: November 24, 2018, 09:19:04 PM
I'll tell you how I calculate it. Bitcoin was worth 20000 dollars for a while and it stayed for 4-6000 for months before the ATH and months after it. In fact Bitcoin was priced above 5000 for a year now. The whole mining industry and, stores accepting it, pay processors, everything worked for a year at 5000+ dollars. Now we are at 4000, so why would we still be overhyped? Because some people on forums and youtube believe in it? They should be because it's still very small. This forum is very small when compared to other payment processors and banks.
Deutche Bank's income is over 26 billion dollars a year! It's only 1 bank! Whole Bitcoin isn't worth 70 billion now, so one bank is earning per year 35% of while Bitcoin's value. It's not worth 35%, it's earning 35%! And tell me again that a global payment system of decentralized money is overvalued if it's worth less than 3 times the yearly income of one bank.
4682  Economy / Economics / Re: Very stable BTC dominance on: November 24, 2018, 08:57:43 PM
So basically you are saying that BTC no longer has this function of "refuge", the safe-haven cryptocurrency. The fact bitcoin behaves like altcoins (or vice versa) means what?

In the old days people were going from Bitcoin to altcoins because altcoins were offering quick gains. When they were selling they were coming back to Bitcoin. Now people are investing in alts straight with fiat, or going through tether instead of Bitcoin. It doesn't have to be that safe refuge because it's much easier to buy and sell altcoins. It's good for Bitcoin because the more stable it is the better. I'd rather have people buy Bitcoin to own Bitcoin not to do it because they want to invest in altcoins.
4683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Analysis Technique is Not Working Anymore? on: November 24, 2018, 08:47:56 PM
Analysis will only work if is allow to work.Crypto sphere is full of manipulation and such case is difficult to make successful prediction.
Analysis works by taking the past events and projecting them into the future. Since Bitcoin is such a novelty and every year is different for it we can't really use TA here. I asaw people compare the previous bear markets and they were all different. Like 2014 bear market was the longest in Bitcoin's history. What does that tell us? That bear markets are getting longer? That this one will be at least as long as the previous one? We don't know that.
4684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: November 24, 2018, 08:38:41 PM
It doesn't matter how stable altcoins are. Some are stable because nobody cares about them and people don't panic because they know they aren't holding much. If 1 BItcoin costs you 6000 USD you know it's a lot of value and you try to protect the money. 10% lost from 1 Bitcoin is a lot for most people.
If you hold a token worth 50c a piece and have 100 USd invested you don't care. Many people wouldn't even bother to log in and sell it if they saw it go down by 10%.
4685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now or never! on: November 24, 2018, 08:25:40 PM
The price at which miners will start working in minus on bitcoin is calculated approximately in 3400 dollars. Yes, today the price for buying bitcoin looks very nice, but I think there will be another wave of decline to the level of 3200-3500 and there will be fixed. That's where the sweetest place to enter this market is.
It's not that easy. If we were all right that 3200 is the lowest point what would be the reason for buying now? Nobody would be buying and the price would fall into 3200 then everybody would buy making it jump above 20k because everybody seems to think that when we go to 3000 or below it will start a bull run and all bull runs end with a new ATH.
In a market most people lose money and the majority is always wrong! Remember that.
4686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whose advice you take when it comes to Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2018, 08:14:35 PM
I only take my own advice but there are people who I respect and follow. Those people don't care about the price and remain very confident. I like listening to them because their confidence is contagious and they always entertain me. Andreas Antonopoulos, Max Keiser are both great and I also like BitcoinMeister, who always makes me laugh.
4687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is time to invest now ? after the falling on: November 24, 2018, 07:46:04 PM
If not now then when? When it's rising again and the prices are 2-3 times higher than now? To make money in every market you have to invest when the prices are down, there's no other way, and right now we have the cheapest coins in 1.5 years. This will not continue for very long. It can take a month or 2 more, and that's it.
4688  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-23] The assassination of Bitcoin on: November 24, 2018, 06:30:50 PM
You're right that the morons are killing it. They overvalued the news about Bitcoin futures. Institutional money came in Autumn 2017 and left the scene between 20 and 10,000 USD. Below 10 it's the scared morons bleeding out one by one and mining companies going bankrupt.
In a year or 2 there will be another bull run started by some country adopting Bitcoin, and the poor morons will again buy too late and panic sell.
4689  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-23] Edward Snowden Bullish On Crypto: Blockchain Money Makes Sense on: November 24, 2018, 06:24:59 PM
I like it that he likes it Cheesy
I'd say that crypto press is trying too hard to make up some bullish news. There's no pint. In a bear market bullish news don't matter and people focus on the bearish ones.
I agree that blockchain money makes sense. It will work because the Internet is slowly but surely taking over all aspects of our lives. We used to communicate in the web. Now people shop there, pay using it, store documents and private data. Money is another step.
4690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 Concerns About Bitcoin ? on: November 24, 2018, 06:16:06 PM
Ma main concern would be the technology failing. Bugs, viruses, not enough security, 51% attacks, ddos attacks, spammed network. As long as the technology is doing fine I have no concerns. I don't care about the price too much. Adoption will happen eventually if the coin remains reliable.
4691  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC is not the best way to save money, What you think is the best ? on: November 24, 2018, 06:09:54 PM
Save money? I will pick on bank. Because i think it is safe to keep my money in there without worry about volatily of my currency or anything else that be risk of crypto. If bitcoin maybe i will be trader only.

It means that you like to rely on others to hold your money and like centralization. When you keep your money in the bank it's not you holding it in the bank. It's the bank holding it and having total control. What makes you think that a private company won't use your money to save itself and deny you service? Sometimes you go to a restaurant or a bar and they say that they're closed or closing, or for some reason you can't go in. Sometimes you buy a reservation or a ticket somewhere and are denied entry. A bank is like  that. You can be denied entry one day and then what?
4692  Economy / Services / Re: [BitBlender] Signature Campaign - Seniors and up (Open) on: November 24, 2018, 06:03:34 PM
Well, honestly, that's his own problems, a good manager is someone who does his job in a good way.. he got a good reputation here, it's painful to see him losing that green rep, @lutpin, really recommend that you afford more time for your job as a manager .. don't make peoples run away.
Best of luck.

It's his choice. Usually if you have issues, can't dedicate enough time, are planning to travel, get sick, or something of a sort happens, you let your employer know and allow him to choose someone else for the job. Every single day I see trusted managers bumping their threads, looking for work. It wouldn't even take a day for the management to change, count posts and pay you all.
You should contact Bitblender and other businesses that employ Lutpin and tell them about this situation. It's in their best interest to resolve this.
4693  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-23]BitPay COO Sonny Singh: Bitcoin Could Hit $15-20K by End of 2019 on: November 23, 2018, 11:02:09 PM
It's true this market is very small and it doesn't take a lot of money to start a rally. In 2017 it was enough for Korea and Japan to open new exchanges to launch the price past the previous ATH of 1000 dollars. Then it was futures hype that drove us to the crazy levels people called a bubble. If a country wanted to go in it could end the bear market with ease.
4694  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-22]What may Have Caused a Sudden Drop in Bitcoin Price Last Wednesday? on: November 23, 2018, 10:55:01 PM
Great article. I've learned so much  Grin

Some experts associate the crypto market crisis we are observing now with a new version of Bitcoin having been released on Thursday.

The author of this article should be voted the idiot of the month. He has no idea what's going on to the point that he calls a fork of Bitcoin Cash the new version of Bitcoin. How much did he get paid? You should ask for a refund!
4695  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-23]ICE's Bakkt Suspends Bitcoin Futures Roll Out on: November 23, 2018, 10:46:51 PM
Looks very much like a planned move. It's strange that they would announce this only weeks before the launch date and at the same time a week after a market crash. It doesn't take a conspiracy theorist to see that some insiders were informed about BAKKT's move beforehand. Maybe it was BAKKT itself selling into the dump because they knew they'll have 2 months to buy back cheaper?
4696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices are Being Manipulated... on: November 23, 2018, 09:30:51 PM
There is a manipulation with Bakkt in the middle of it. They told some insiders that they were going to postpone the launch and a week before the news were announced insiders sold their coins. We had a big crash, CEO of BAKKT went public with the delay, people panicked a bit and sold ven more and the insiders were waiting for that ad buying cheaper. That's how you make money in the big world.
4697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: November 23, 2018, 08:26:15 PM
I am still holding my coins because I didn't buy. I earned most of it and I will have no regrets if it goes to 3000 or something like that. It will still have value to me and I'm ready to wait for it to reach the point at which I'll be satisfied. I know that it's much harder to hold when you spent fiat to buy coins because at some point they can go below what you've paid, but don't worry, it's not the end!
4698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction from 'Experts' on: November 23, 2018, 08:12:32 PM
What I find interesting is that some of you want to make the situation look positive. You are telling others that it's fine, it will drop by 90% and then it will be over, but most of you had sold in this recent dip or even before it. The RSI and market cap of Bitcoin are showing that most traders felt the panic and got rid of their coins. Put your money where your mouth is.
4699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This why you shouldn't be worried on: November 23, 2018, 07:57:03 PM
If you're out of the game you have nothing to worry about, just enjoy the show. If you have cheap Bitcoins bought for 100 dollars or less you also have nothing to worry about.
The only people who worry are those who bought for 5000 or more and are still holding. They are the ones writing all those panic posts.
4700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bad News for miners in Noruega on: November 23, 2018, 07:54:58 PM
Welcome to reality. They were getting preferential treatment and now they will have to pay like everyone else. Why are you posting it like it was bad news?
They were given some cheaper power for a time and now they will have to pay normal rates like everyone around the world does. Would you like your neighbor to say he's mining and get 50% off his power bill and you have to pay full price?
