4704  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Bot Challenge on: February 16, 2015, 08:14:14 AM
Everybody will be using the same server seed and client seed.

Sure, I can easily win this.  Grin
I can even make the win around 100BTC using a custom strategy made using already known rolls. Wink

Pity I don't know coding.  Undecided Could someone team up with me? What is the prize?
4705  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BonusBits [$50 monthly draw][Many More Promotions and Offers!] on: February 16, 2015, 08:08:17 AM
With regards to the $50 draw, Monbux has the list of names (there were just over 200 names on the list).

The community has asked me to use an escrow, and I have responded by doing exactly that so that my giveaway is provably fair.

However, I've e-mailed monbux once and PM'd him twice with no response as of yet. He will post here all the winners and confirm this for certain.

The speed of this is entirely out of my hands unfortunately.

Also please bear with me while SafeDice has some unprecedented issues with regards to deposits. If I cannot get hold of some 3 mBTC preloaded codes I'll create some PD accounts for people Smiley

SafeDice has 2 issues as far as I am aware of:
1. Some deposits were not credited. Will not affect a preloaded link.
2, Freezing. Only occasionally.

I would prefer betting at SafeDice that PD. Please don't switch.

https://blockchain.info/address/131hejneTxpXy595jZMz3wV2E14hzDbcBH

admin it will take how much time to get credit there, still no balance in my account,
it sounds good about compensation, that is good idea, best of luck admin.

Please check your account again, I have manually credited it to your account and add some compensation Smiley

The issue is because the deposit was made through a single transaction to several accounts. Sorry for the inconvenience, we'll fix this issue soon within 24 hours, meanwhile please do not deposit to several accounts at once.

It would be also awesome if you can solve the frequent freezing of the site.

Sure, we have found the root cause of this frequent freezing, will fix this as soon as possible on the next update.

4706  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Innovative Game: Win 1.5x if BTC price crosses $265 in 6 days. [BITSTAMP] on: February 16, 2015, 08:01:34 AM
Only 1.5x & minimum 0.1BTC ?
Too bad i don't have bitcoin that much Sad

Some people might interested if you raise from 1.5x become 1.8x

1.5x is big enough. You have to consider that the price will not be calculated at the time of expiry.
That is you will win if even if the price crosses 265 anytime during 150 hours.
4707  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Innovative Game: Win 1.5x if BTC price crosses $265 in 6 days. [BITSTAMP] on: February 16, 2015, 07:53:38 AM

That is the address I use for the game. I cannot mix both wallets. Otherwise, I won't know which fund is mine, which fund is a bet.

Your funds will be safe whatever happens (unless you lose of course), I assure you complete safety of your funds, as long as the bet is only 3BTC.

Professional looking site but be warned.
Almost all scams currently have a professional looking site.

it might be a scam.
It is. No doubt about that

Also, this project is by Bitcoin-Sity or Bitcoin-City?
It is actually Bitcoin-Shity
Domain was taken by another scam, so they had to adjust with city.  Wink

Edit the quote in your first post if you wrote wrong.

4712  Economy / Services / Re: Teach me how to make 0.5 Bitcoin a day! on: February 16, 2015, 06:47:48 AM
I've recently discovered the world of Bitcoin and grow quiet a passion for it. I've got nowhere with faucet, survey, referral, ad clicking melodrama and i don't have a super computer for mining. So i seek someone with wisdom of the area that is willing to teach me to earn my living online with my laptop and free me from the systematic 9 - 5 grind. I will give you the first coin i earn and followed by indefinite daily donation with a lifetime of gratitude. Smiley

I have a decent method of earning around 0.05 to 0.2BTC a day. However, I dug it up just recently, and no idea how long the promotion will go on.
If I share the idea, my share will drastically go down.
Returns are not guaranteed either.

I will sell the idea for 2.5BTC.  Grin
I am almost sure no one will be interested. Still no harm trying..

It is somewhat similar to the 0.4BTC leader board at SatoshiDice or the 10BTC weekly leader board at FJ. But it is easier than winning that one.

I can lend 0.3 with 1.5% per day interest  Cool

lol, I skipped this. Smiley
Accepted.

Ok. I can do 1.5%/day.
Let me know if you want me to do it or cryptocause does not do it.

You can go ahead with doing that. I am waiting for my previous loans to get repaid.

Ok. Will do that as soon as ndnhc confirms.

Confirmed.
I only need 0.2BTC atm. Same addy. Same terms.

Thank you Wink

If people who hold fiat react the same way people who hold BTC reacted to the MtGox fiasco, we're certainly off to the moon!

Conclusion: USD is less secure than BTC.

BTC price to the moon!
4715  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BonusBits [$50 monthly draw][Many More Promotions and Offers!] on: February 16, 2015, 06:03:48 AM
Sign up for monthly giveaways! No purchase/deposit necessary!

BonusBits is a new enterprise, which aims at providing the crypto gambling community with exclusive offers and promotions.

We ran a giveaway in December which had a 0.1 BTC prize, however, the winner never came forward to claim his or her prize. Bad news for him but good news for everyone else as that fund has been rolled forward and we now are hosting a 0.25 BTC giveaway.

Follow this link and sign up in 30 seconds for the chance to win the main prize of 0.1 BTC or one of fifteen 0.01 BTC consolation prizes. Please only one registration per person. Once you've joined the list you will automatically be entered into our monthly giveaways and the draw is scheduled to take place on the 14th February. If you already joined our list in our December giveaway you don't need to re-register!

Thanks for listening and we welcome you to sign up for our exclusive offers!

For the record Monbux is acting as escrow for the venture as confirmed in this thread and he will be selecting all the winners in an unbiased way as confirmed in this thread.

So who won?

Cross-browser testing. (free for my designs)
Compatibility test. (free for my designs)

Features:

1. I can design using absolutely No UNICODE symbols. (you can choose if you want it or not) ▓▓ is currently the most used symbol. It might be supported in most cases, but certain unicode symbols will not be visible and will only appear as boxes.
Quote
Generally, a box containing a four-digit hex number is a common way of indicating lack of glyph for a character in the font(s) being used. But in this case, the data apparently contains code points that have not (yet) been assigned to characters at all, so fonts should not have any glyphs for them.

For example, the first problem case here has 0E5C in the box, so it indicates U+05EC, which is a reserved (unassigned) code point in Unicode at present. This means that it does not denote any character data and should not be used in a character string.

2. Will try to make it unique

P.S. I also design pure text threads to make it look a little better for a small fee. Escrow compulsory for not much trusted members. I reserve the right to reuse certain elements of the signature.
4718  Economy / Services / Re: 0.05 BTC bounty on: February 15, 2015, 08:38:43 AM
Why would you trust someone like a newbie? especially since there is no escrow or anything?

Because I'm not wasting anything when I bet 10000 times. I'll just leave it overnight and I wont lose any BTC or any time. If he goes through with the deal then Great, if he doesn't then too bad.

So, 0.05BTC is paid to make 10k bets at PD? No ref link too? Seems weird.  Roll Eyes

I suppose people tried since there was only a 'time' expense. I think it is possible to do it in a few minutes using a PD bot or something.. Beats me why he didn't do it himself? And what is the intention of this?
4719  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.05 loan by tomorrow on: February 15, 2015, 08:32:00 AM
So yeah if you need collateral ( my account) i will only do it with escrow
The loan will be paid back in 4 days with 10% interest, no more.
Pm if you can

Day 4 came and passed. Looks like Ill have to sell an account tomorrow Sad

I have been a lender to some a few months ago. I don't think it is good to sell the account the next day since he might not be able to respond due to some personal reasons. Did you try to contact him?

As a responsible escrow, you are supposed to hold the account for a minimum period, which should have been decided prior to the loan, so that he will still be able to recover the account.
4720  Economy / Services / Re: [CONTEST] Create A New Logo For Backed.io on: February 15, 2015, 08:07:15 AM
The original post can be found here: https://www.backed.io/posts/post/72

I'm reposting the details below:

Apologies for not having this up yesterday. The contest starts Saturday, February 14th (today).

Details

Bounty:

     Grand Prize:     .20 BTC
     1st Runner Up: .10 BTC
     2nd Runner Up: .05 BTC

Suspense Date:

Saturday, February 21st, 12 Noon PST

Explanation:

The logo for this site is one we had made at [Tailor Brands](https://www.tailorbrands.com/business). While it's not bad, I know and you know that we can do better.

Create a new logo for Backed. You can use any software program you like, from Photoshop to MS Paint. Try and make your submission of a higher resolution though, as it is always easier to degrade rather than enhance. However, for your submission it is recommended that you display something with dimensions that will fit in a post (i.e. 600px width). Also, we're hoping that once resized the image could be used on the upper left of the site header to replace the current logo.

We're not putting out style guidelines, just something that you think would fit this site (use your imagination!). Feel free to use whatever color scheme you like, as we may be changing the color and styling of the site anyways.

You can incorporate the current slogan, any of the [slogans from our slogan contest](https://www.backed.io/posts/post/2), or a new one if you're feeling especially creative. (I still have a soft spot for The Bacon Of News)

If you need a place to upload your image, try imgur.

Eligibility:

To be eligible you must create an account on Backed and provide a valid Bitcoin address (so we can send you Bitcoin if your slogan Huh/entry is chosen). Only one account per person can be used for this contest.

Please link to your submission in the comments of this post. Alternatively you can create a new post with displays your image and gives a bit of information about it. Please title it something other than 'my submission for the contest'.

Rules:

You can submit up to two entries per account.

I am in. Smiley

Not very good at logo making. But I will give it a try when I get some free time. Smiley
