If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

I don't gamble with much money first of all. I am gambling just for fun and now that the blockchain has come and brought us so many online casinos around I think that if a country forbids gambling there is still a way to enjoy yourself without making them knowing that. I would definitely continue to gamble as this is a way of life and entertainment.
4702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: February 25, 2019, 08:47:08 AM

Barcelona always seems to find a way to win when they are trailing and with no win in sight until the very end.

The upcoming match for Barcelona against Real Madrid will be interesting, although real has a match today with Levante. The last few matches of Real Madrid with Levante did not go well. In fact Levante won their last match with Real Madrid. Can they break it today?

It looked like the team learned its lesson from the previous matches against Levante.
Barcelona vs Real Madrid will be interesting to see because I think that Barcelona has dropped its performance a little bit and now it is equal to Real's which didn't perform very well from the beginning.
4703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 25, 2019, 08:43:26 AM
You guys watch the drama between Kepa and Sarri in the end of 2nd half extra time. Lol, Kepa refused Maurizio Sarri's substitution before the penalty shootout and Sarri let Kepa play the pinalty in the end.

Do you guys think if Maurizio play on that pinalty, will Chelsea win or not?

What I saw yesterday in the Carabao Cup Final was totally an embarrassment for Chelsea and mostly for Sarri. The fact that Kepa refused to be substituted and made these signals with hands etc show exactly what is going on to the Chelsea dressing room right now. Sarri has lost control over the players and they clearly do not respect him. The only one that will be harmed is Sarri from this situation.
4704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a new BIG BTC buy signal??? on: February 23, 2019, 01:06:46 PM

This website seems like a not credible source to me.
I have never seen any news like this one from other websites like BBC or CNN, for example, noting an incident like that. It is always some unknown websites who publish information like this one which makes it untrustworthy.
4705  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many Bitcoin do you think Wall St will own on: February 23, 2019, 01:01:28 PM
I believe that there are already some big corporations who own bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies but the purchase has been taken place behind the scenes.
If they will start seeing mass adoption then they are going to release this information in order to pump the price for their own benefits.
4706  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN 1 MILLION in the end 2020? on: February 23, 2019, 12:49:54 PM
well is this true?,or just another nonsense?

source : https://www.facebook.com/CryptoMinerUK/videos/398644187551622

I just wonder how you could ever consider that this can be true.
I am used to these posts and now I can understand that even they are trolling or they just to pump the price because of their own benefits. In the end, they are just people who try to manipulate others opinions.
4707  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: February 23, 2019, 12:25:50 PM
In my opinion. all crypto currency asset owners and crypto traders who control price movements in the market. price movements will not occur when the asset owner does not carry out trading action. and new users who want to have assets in the form of crypto currencies also control price movements.

You have omitted the Media.
Media are playing a crucial role in price movements and price manipulation. I have found a lot of cryptocurrency news which just spread FUD or FOMO depending on the direction that they want to move the price. It is really sad to see that people cannot understand that.
4708  Economy / Economics / Re: A Blockchain Project that cannnot be resisted on: February 23, 2019, 12:22:44 PM
Sounds to me like a childish idea of a way to promote your project without any advertising.
What will move this project forward is just inflation and what I really cannot understand is how will all these coins created. I mean that after all even that you cannot withdraw these coins what will be the value for the merchandiser to accept it, if he cannot convert it. It will create a vicious cycle with losses to every actor that hold these coins.
4709  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: February 23, 2019, 12:07:22 PM
there is no denying that the blockchain project is synonymous with fraud, because most people only see it as a comparison of bitcoin which has become an extraordinary digital asset. With the capital of a whitepaper and a vision to create revolution many people are deceived.
but not all blockchain projects are like that, this happens because of a lack of regulation, so many use it only to raise funds. therefore we must start learning to do research to get a good project. it can be considered including experienced teams, the project roadmap, and the white papper

On the other hand, talking about regulation, it can bring more fraudulent techniques to the industry. When you force someone to act legally then they will find a way to overcome it and act in an illegal way, most of the time with irreversible consequences. The best way is to get some advice from the experienced ones and then act according to them.
4710  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: February 23, 2019, 11:56:22 AM
The future of cryptocurrency is bright because the demand and adaptation are kept increasing because many big institution understand blockchain technology importance. So the demand for cryptocurrency will surely increase in the market with this ETF approval.

You shouldn't be so sure. There is still a long way to go in order to define if it will be a success or fail.
The future will define that in a way that will show if the blockchain will be adapted to corporations and organizations or it will be dumped away as a jype of the millennial generation.
4711  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-19]Bitcoin Price Hits $4,000: Is this the Start of a Bull Run? on: February 23, 2019, 11:15:43 AM
I don't think that this is the start of the bull run. Some good and positive news for the blockchain industry has been released lately and they have impacted the price of Bitcoin upwards. I see that the starter point of a bull run may be at 5-6k. And also I do not expect a raise more that 10k in the price of bitcoin by the end of 2019.
However, now the price stability of bitcoin and ethereum is rather strange on the market after a slight increase in their price. I would say that the signs of a bull market are still outlined. Now, perhaps, there will be no such sharp price spikes, growth will be mainly slow. Let's see what will happen to the prices further.

I don't understand how a stability in the price can be translated as the start of the bull run or it indicates that the prices are going to be higher.
If that was the case then the prices should continue to rise for a long period and not be stable after 2 days of increase and a small percentage of the higher value of cryptos.
4712  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: February 23, 2019, 10:22:36 AM
Every time is a good time to enter crypto, i agree to that but one must enter with caution and never enter with the mindset of having an immediate reward it is a long term investment, trade with few coins to gradually master the market to avoid big loss.

If you think of a long term position then every time is a good time to enter. If you are interested in short term investments or you are interested in trading then every time is not the correct answer to this question. Tim Draper just tries to create a positive climate and promote the cryptocurrency market but this statement is not based somewhere.
4713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 23, 2019, 10:17:13 AM
Massive game at the weekend when Liverpool travel to play Man Utd. England’s two most successful teams battle. The outcome could be anything, nothing would surprise me.
Last few matches between two teams.

The last few matches indicate that Liverpool is going to win Manchester United easily with a high score between them as well.
Based on the current form of both teams I don't see that Liverpool is going to have an easy match. I would probably bet on over 2.5- 3,5 as I think that both teams are going to score because they are attacking teams mostly and not defensive.
4714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Of You Enjoy If PubG collaborated With Cryto Platform? on: February 22, 2019, 03:46:02 PM
PubG is most addictive game over the world in last few years. I am damn if the enable the UC purchase with the crypto then they may sell it faster than the cash payment.

Next to that I wish any of good gambling site should run the PubG tournament on their site. They may pay via BTC or ETH for the top 3 team in each game. Then crypto may capture people.

I hope any gambling site will love my idea and enable it soon. Cheers.

First of all, PUBG is not the most addictive game in the last few years. There are many other games such as League of Legends or Fortnite with a bigger crowd behind them. I think that a gaming industry as a whole can be beneficial for the cryptocurrency industry as gamers are exposed to the internet and more familiar with the process of buying crypto.
4715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale Work? on: February 22, 2019, 03:29:24 PM
If people ask does martingale work? Of course it works. But if the question is martingal give profit constantly? i will answer big no. Because like people said about  unlimited capital, you wouldn't know when bet site took all your money in 1 click.

Martingale is a tool for casinos in order to make more money and promote that "The house always wins".
If you read some statistical surveys you will understand that as much as you play you are more vulnerable in losing your funds. Martingale promotes this statistical model and shows that it doesn't work at least in a long term period.
4716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 22, 2019, 12:24:49 PM
Chelsea have been sancionted by the Fifa and the english club won't be able to make any transfers (specifically, buying players) for two transfer windows. The ban will be lifted in summer 2020.

Just when I was thinking that it was time to "clean-up" the squad and simply buy some new players in the next transfer window...And with this news, I doubt they're gonna sell Hazard to Real Madrid any time soon.

This ban is a very strict one. Chelsea should be banned like this for transfers that had made for players under 18. If they had broken the law for transfers that would solidify the senior squad then I agree but not this time.
Hazard may leave the club with more money but not with an exchange of players as it was discussed in the previous transfer window. It is not a concern but the club needed some players in many positions.
4717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did Bitcoin hit $4,000? on: February 22, 2019, 09:37:02 AM
Right now price is near at the price of 4000 dollars because now value is around $3900 each bitcoin and we are waiting to up the value of the bitcoin for sure most of us are excited to see again reached $4000 and after that we are focusing to next leverl which is 5000 dollars and 10k dollars and until the market fully recover which is the value become 20k dollars again.

20k dollars is way far from now. I don't know how many years we need to reach it or we will ever reach it.
For me a positive sign will be if I see a price of around 5-6k then I will be hyped that we can see a bull run again. Otherwise, there is no point in discussing a bull run because we are still very low for that.
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: February 22, 2019, 09:16:37 AM
Gambling should be banned in every country to save people from this dangerous game.

if it will be banned then things will get worse.

People will start searching for illegal methods of betting and this has a bigger negative effect in people's life. And apart from that, countries make a lot of money from the casinos around the world as they earn a lot of taxes from them. It is a system that has been established and it is very very difficult to change it now as the fundamentals are solid.
4719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: February 22, 2019, 09:12:26 AM
Am not too good in gambling but occasionally i do visit a friend that's an addict gambler, most at time he uses BTC, ETH, Zcash, XRP for gambling but if i may chose i prefer Bitcoin to other altcoins based on the value and wide acceptability of the coin in almost all gambling sites

Maybe he reaps more benefits in the casino that he is playing because all these coins are widely accepted due to their high value. Casinos usually prompt gamblers to play with these coins because in the end the house wins and they accumulate bigger portions of these cryptocurrencies.
I think that EOS and TRX are also a good option as well for your friend.
4720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 22, 2019, 09:06:48 AM
Why 3 weeks between each 1st & 2nd leg? Seems too long, I’m sure it used to be 2 weeks.

It used to be 2 weeks but they changed that. As you can see only 2 games have been played each Champions League day for 2 weeks. I think that this happens in order that Champions League and Europa League phases are aligned.
