4701  Economy / Exchanges / Cryptex exchange on: March 15, 2019, 12:31:50 PM
I wanted to get your opinion about this new exchange that is being advertised on the forums.

For those who have used it, so far, have you run into trouble? If yes, how responsive the support is and how smooth the exchange is?

This thread is mainly for people to find when they search about the exchange since It's a new one and also for me to know whether It's a good alternative for the currently existing exchanges that are enforcing KYC/AML.
4702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo trading Platforms... Do you know any? List them here. on: March 15, 2019, 11:21:13 AM
- Looks like HitBTC no longer has the demo trading feature.
- While club has like 3 domains (https://whaleclub.io, http://www.whaleclub.org, https://whaleclub.co) so I wasn't sure which one was the genuine one.
- Looks like am now left with the Bitmex option which isn't bad.

I was referring to the .co version but even then, after searching, I found a decent amount of scam accusations, so If you're planning to use them for real transactions, you should be careful.
4703  Economy / Exchanges / Re: hitbtc.com Blocked for no reason account. on: March 14, 2019, 12:18:04 PM
The second day passed, the support is silent

If you're expecting a fast response, don't. You're not the only one using the site and I doubt that the verification is automatic for people who voluntary do KYC, let alone when your account is locked, so it might time some time.
4704  Economy / Services / [Trusted only] Buying online with CC/PayPal on: March 14, 2019, 11:28:27 AM
I need someone with green trust and preferably high ranked.

I want to buy from Fleurs de paris. If you don't understand the language, you could check the english version and compare or use Google translator but the order have to be made from .dk version otherwise you won't have Denmark as a shipping option. I need someone with PayPal or credit card to do the order for me.

I will pay you in BTC whatever amount you paid for the order and as a reward, an extra 10$.

4705  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: GamingSmurfs.com | CSGO Account from $1.49 | Instant Delivery | 24/7 Support on: March 14, 2019, 11:11:37 AM
The bitcoin option is there but for some reason, it's asking about billing details. Given the nature of bitcoin, its users and also the products you're selling, that should be removed probably.
4706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why do Banks ask for income source for bitcoin sold payment on: March 13, 2019, 06:56:06 PM
If the transaction is between individuals and not with an exchange, how does the bank know that its related to bitcoin in the first place?

I suspect that the amount is too big here. Banks don't manually audit accounts, It's all automatic so whatever your cousin has been doing, it must've raised something.

They're probably covered when it comes to legalities. I don't think suing them would help. Why not just provide the source of income?

4707  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: XCryptoMarket.com | Looking for Suggestions and Ideas on: March 13, 2019, 06:32:09 PM
Yes . I thought it might be considered as spam . That's why we don't do it .

If you are willing to invest in advertising, I suggest participating in the auctions to buy an ad slot in the forums. It could generate a lot of traffic and potential buyers and sellers.
4708  Economy / Exchanges / Re: hitbtc.com Blocked for no reason account. on: March 13, 2019, 05:14:26 PM
I'm not familiar about the error message that should be shown when someone's account is locked, so are you sure the message displayed for transferring is not a simple technical issue?

The documents have been sent after the account got locked or before? If after, then you should probably wait until they do their investigation. Also, when did you sent a ticket and when was their last response (If any)?

You're not the first and probably not the last who have this kind of problem though, If you check the scam accusation section on the forums, you'll see that a lot of people had a similar issue in the past. Your best option right now is to be patient, it could take weeks, If not months from what I've seen about them.
4709  Economy / Service Discussion / Flubit on: March 13, 2019, 02:25:10 PM
I came across this website from the ads placed in the forums. After doing some research, I found out that the website is known but was only acquired by a crypto company recently.

I just want to know If anyone here had some experience with the website, preferably experiences from those who used it to ship internationally and used MUE for 25% off.
4710  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Will my payment be lost? smartphone just died on: March 13, 2019, 12:57:49 PM
The payment will be received regardless of whether the app was opened during that time or not. If by died, you mean the phone is no longer working then you will need to recover your wallet into the new phone using the seed words.
4711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo trading Platforms... Do you know any? List them here. on: March 10, 2019, 10:19:38 AM
It's hard to tell which one is the best because it depends on your preferences but I suggest checking Hitbtc, Whaleclub, and Bitmex.
4712  Economy / Currency exchange / [H] 500$ Bitcoin [W] Skrill on: March 10, 2019, 09:06:24 AM
I'm not interested in any other payment method other than Skrill. As the title says, I have 500$ in BTC and I would like to trade it for 1:1 (preev.com) rates.

If you're low ranked and have negative trust, then please don't waste your time by posting here. I don't see the point of using an escrow with reversible payment methods so If you're trusted, I don't mind going first.
4713  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paypal Withdraw to Wirex card? on: March 10, 2019, 08:12:35 AM
Actually this is not possible. As we know that it only permits transaction through Visa card. Master card is very popular but it will not work here as it does not use this. The only option is to use visa card.

I do via paypal but not success they refunded money.

Using which card have you tried? I've checked their website again and they are now providing Visa cards apparently, that could work If you were using a MasterCard for the withdrawal process.
4714  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: March 10, 2019, 07:45:31 AM
Apparently, the user you're using does not have the permissions for making a SELECT statement.

While visiting anyone's profile, clicking in the merited history or any user profile on the lists found on the right, the following error is being returned:

Code:
The SELECT permission was denied on the object 'btcMerLog', database 'bpip', schema 'dbo'.

It's regarding smerit.aspx.cs, line 112.
4715  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: March 10, 2019, 06:06:23 AM
what happens if you transfer received amount to another PayPal account, so in case of dispute there is no money in the account.

Your balance will go to minus. If you ever deposit any amount afterward, they'll take it from the account until you're back to 0$ or above.
4716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My Transaction Still Pending After more than 2 Days now, 0 confirmation on: March 08, 2019, 09:10:19 AM
It did not take two days:

The transaction ID you posted CPDC4LKZVU1X0SIL3RMUMMUIBG. Where is it coming from because that's not a bitcoin TXID. It must be from a service you're using and therefore you should contact them, it could be a technical issue from their part.
4717  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2 more exchanges down on: March 08, 2019, 08:48:39 AM
Another reason to have more decentralized exchanges and to use them.

It's not only about scamming the users of the exchange but Its also about giving a bad image about bitcoin and crypto in general. We've seen a similar thing with Paxful, BTC-e and other exchanges in the past.
4718  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: March 08, 2019, 07:54:40 AM
How to contact their support? They are not answering tickets. I'd even pay contact their support, but it's just not possible.

How long does it take them to answer ticket from your experience?

I can't say that they're fast when it comes to the support responsiveness, I've seen people receiving answers after weeks and this thread is definitely no help as it has been abandoned for some time now. I wouldn't suggest spamming them, you could get blacklisted probably so you will have to just sit and wait.
4719  Economy / Services / Re: Escrow Request (To redeem amazon giftcard on traders account) on: March 07, 2019, 07:24:00 AM
You're wrong. I already bought Amazon gift cards before from someone in Paxful who turned out to be a carder and the balance was no longer available to use.

4720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: hidden orders on: March 06, 2019, 08:03:18 PM
Apparently, both Bitfinex and Bitmex support that.

Does anyone know the difference between hidden orders and OTC? I can't see the difference If both are meant to be out of the public books.
