If those were your other two accounts then they were banned for being likely hacked and also sig spam by talking to each other, so that's the reason.

You can lock the topic at the bottom left.
4702  Other / Meta / Re: What is the problem with my account? on: August 08, 2017, 09:23:15 AM
You need to make sure you wait the full six minutes before you try to post. This includes logging in and attempting to post which resets the clock.
4703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO certification service needed on: August 08, 2017, 06:11:05 AM
Can we extend this to any ICOs wanting to Announce their projects here?

That'd probably be too restrictive.

This forum needs some restrictions. It's because there are no rules that anyone can just create a crapcoin and get away with spamming the forum with hundreds of accounts and with absolutely no consequences to them all whilst they take in millions in the process. All this is going to do is make sure the very few people who actually bid on ad slots wont bother now especially when they can just get unlimited advertising for free via a signature campaign.
4704  Other / Meta / Re: Why is my account banned? on: August 08, 2017, 05:37:22 AM
What accounts? We're they also accounts you purchased? If you bought hacked accounts then nobody is going to help you here.
4705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO certification service needed on: August 07, 2017, 01:41:21 PM
Can we extend this to any ICOs wanting to Announce their projects here? Otherwise all this is going to do is take away even more money from the forum and encourage them to run even bigger spamfests of signature campaigns that they won't do anything about.

wow, if it is put into practice, I believe that many ICO projects will be sinked.

It won't unless the same practice applies to announcing them at all here. This just seems to be for advertising slots and most of them are too cheap to advertise via them anyway.
4706  Other / Meta / Re: Temporary signature ban, what's that? on: August 07, 2017, 01:31:13 PM
Theymos removed the signatures temporarily of some people who were caught participating in an alt coin giveaways. See here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2045928.msg20386758#msg20386758
4707  Other / Meta / Re: why cannot become junior member? on: August 07, 2017, 09:42:09 AM
Bitcoin Forum users has been growing in just a month so the update of your status will be longer than before. I think This forum should hire more moderators for the fast update of each users because it also has an impact while you are in a signature campaign. I have been waiting for my rank to go up to and I hope before thursday so my rate can change and I can have a higher pay.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes. Maybe you should actually read how ranks work because the updating is automatic and has nothing to do with moderators. I think more moderators should be hired though to ban shitposters and people who constantly ask how activity works without bothering to read the stickies.
4708  Other / Meta / Re: Redditor asking why people on bitcointalk sound so dumb. What is your theory? on: August 07, 2017, 09:11:36 AM
One of the responses in this thread on reddit lead a newbie to bitcointalk. His reaction:

Quote
I've just started reading a lot of bitcointalk to expand my knowledge but I swear, most users in there sound like teenagers from non-English speaking countries. Not that I have anything against that, but is that accurate or is there some kind of inside joke language used on the site?

Well that's because they essentially are. Because you can earn quite a bit of money on bitcointalk very easily via signature campaigns this makes it very attractive to people from poorer developing nations and a lot of the time they can't speak very good English. If that wasn't bad enough many of them then get greedy and lazy and churn out as many posts as they can over dozens of accounts to maximise earnings which makes their content even worse. Also, once they realise they can earn a decent amount of money just from posting they boast or tell all their friends and family and they tell all their friends and family and the problem is exacerbated tenfold daily. Dozens of ICO campaigns pop up here every month and because they don't run their campaigns properly they will happily pay out for any posts regardless of content or quality and this is quickly abused and taken advantage of by shitposters and farmers. Just to give you an idea of how ridiculous it can get one user alone was caught with 200 accounts regurgitating responses one after the other and he was paid by several different campaigns for the behaviour: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1912475.0
4709  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: August 07, 2017, 07:53:21 AM
There should be updates for VIP and Donator because the prices are so high by now.
Like in past the BTC was lower now is 3k.

New donator ranks with pegged to fiat values have been suggested, but theymos has stated numerous times that the current ranks won't be changed or amended due to it not being fair to those who originally donated.
4710  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: August 06, 2017, 09:49:10 AM
Post counting is finished and payments have been sent.

2 slots are open now.

Thanks. What was the cut off point for post counting?
4711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £400 - £20 buy-in on: August 06, 2017, 09:46:30 AM
Shall we stick with the 0.01 btc or lower it since it's now worth nearly 25? Though 20 people at £25 will obviously take the pot to nearly £500.
4712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Help! How can get BCH from Blochchain.info wallet on: August 05, 2017, 12:14:36 PM
Right now there is no simple way to claim BCH from your Blockchain.info wallet. Either you can wait for one or two months (until Blockchain.info adds support for BCH), or you can export the private key of your Blockchain.info wallet to some Bitcoin Cash -compatible wallet.

Is this something they've actually said they're going to implement and within that timeframe or are you just assuming they'll eventually roll out support for it?
4713  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: August 05, 2017, 11:41:46 AM
So you mean to say that we are going to overhaul the system just to make sigs available only to whoever donates? Roll Eyes

It needs an overhaul because the forum is overrun with barely coherent spam. Do you have a better idea how to stop armies of illiterate third world shitposters who have no interest or knowledge of bitcoin other than they can make some money here from having dozens to hundreds of accounts regurgitating the same shit one after the other or copy and pasting content just to bleed poorly run campaigns for all they're worth?

First, this forum is for bitcoin and not fiat.

Again, stop repeating this like it's relevant to anything. I'm not advocating paying in fiat. You pay in bitcoin. Pegged to fiat. Can you explain the logical reason why you have to pay in a constantly fluctuating decimal btc value that never changes? It is nonsensical to donate 10-50 bitcoins hence why next to nobody is going to be stupid enough to do it. If those ranks were pegged to fiat then countless people would still be donating today and not complaining about how ridiculous the price is to donate.

It's been there for years now and hasn't changed a bit.

It wouldn't need to have been changed if the amount was pegged to fiat. It also hasn't changed because theymos feels it's unfair to those who originally donated. If there were additional ranks then this wouldn't be an issue.

Again, my argument still stands: lowering down the donation into couple hundreds of dollars would be a cheap gateway for scammers to gain trust and scam people.

Why would having some sort of additional ranks magically make you ripe for scamming? Why aren't you making the same argument for removing forum ranks because Hero and Legendary accounts can use their titles to scam? If people are dumb enough to get scammed because they have donated to get a meaningless title then that's their problem and we can't be expected to babysit every kid here.

Second, the donation isn't going down the drain if that also bothers you

Money is going down the drain because nobody is donating anything so there's nothing to even go down the drain. This forum has just created a monster by having signatures linked to ranks because it has created a black market for account farming and hacked accounts. If you had to donate for a signature then that money would go to the forum instead of some shitposting account farmer or scummy hacker.

it is used to pay the staffs of the forum plus to keep this forum up and receive further development which is in the works.

What donations? Nobody is donating because of the ridiculous price but it's ad sales not donations that pay the staff.

Third, the sig spam you say can easily be prevented by the managers of these campaign. This forum openly accepts ads to be placed on its pages, but the signature advertising should be handled by their campaign managers to reduce spam.

Haha. Easily. Can it? It's not easy to get campaign managers to do their job (and most crapcoins don't even have a manager). Go tell all the poorly run Alt campaign managers how to run their campaigns and see what response you get. You won't get one because they're too  lazy to run their campaigns in the first place. 9/10 Alt coin campaigns do absolutely nothing about spam and will gladly accept and pay anyone and this includes people with 200 accounts repeating the same crap post after post.

No one here in this forum has ever persuaded anyone to donate. Most people are paying thousands of dollars for some colorful pixels in games (I'm guilty of that), so why not a few, rich people who can afford it?

It's not about being persuaded. And It's more than a few thousand dollars. Cheapest rank will currently cost you over £20k right now (sorry am I not allowed to mention the fiat value seeing as this is a bitcoin forum Roll Eyes) .
4714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: May be a silly question, but it's been bugging me since getting into this. on: August 05, 2017, 11:19:21 AM
Do you think the general public are going to walk around and pay for things in decimal? How annoying is that? An annoyance like that could be the death of bitcoin and allow another coin with more and friendlier units take over.

"I'll take a whatever burger and fries and a large fresca"

"That'll be .0048 please." "-Swipes card- Heres .0055, keep the change, thanks"

Is this not looking like a massive issue to anyone else?

Because it's not an issue at all. When you buy pretty much anything with bitcoin the items are listed in your local fiat value so this isn't a problem at all. If something costs $4.99 then you will scan the qr code and send $4.99 in bitcoin. I think some people just like to create problems where there are none and there's far more important things to worry about regarding mainstream adoption.
4715  Other / Meta / Re: Why is my account banned? on: August 05, 2017, 10:43:41 AM
There isn't a rule saying do not purchase hacked accounts but there doesn't need to be. In the forum rules it does state though whilst account sales are allowed they're discouraged. No staff member is likely to help you out here nor should they.
4716  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to get your trust rating up? on: August 05, 2017, 08:14:51 AM
AH ok, cool thanks yea I'm trying to sell my gtx 1070s and pcie riser on here if I sell them would I still get trust (instead of trading) I also sent someone 5eth for a bitmain acct. with D3 miner orders on it but idk if that would help my trust or not? So if I wanted to exchange bitcoin for ETH/LTC etc. with someone that would boost up my trust rating?

Well that's up to the users you trade with but they should leave feedback if the deals go well. Bear in mind that there's also two kind of trust ratings depending on what level of trust network the users are on but you shouldn't worry about that (see the link eddie13 posted for more info).

Hey i have a television i want to sell, will that get me any trust?

List it in the marketplace but don't sell things just to get trust.
4717  Economy / Reputation / Re: >>>>EVEN WE ARE DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS CLOUDPOST YOU ACCUSED US OF CHEATING<<<<< on: August 05, 2017, 07:56:16 AM
There's couple of other users registered near to the others on the spreadsheet that are both Filipino and have numbers at the end of their name:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=955917 tanghere02
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1009626 shimbark123

Both now on the same campaign.

Edit: Possibly https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=954583 Njb18 as well. No posts in the Filipino section but registered a couple days away from tanghere and on the same campaign.
4718  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to get your trust rating up? on: August 05, 2017, 07:43:56 AM
You get trust by earning it via trades and being a helpful/active member of the community, but you shouldn't seek it out. If you're active here and participate in trading bitcoin in whatever ways you'll acquire it over time but if you're not doing any trades or anything helpful you won't really get it or even need it.
4719  Economy / Reputation / Re: >>>>EVEN WE ARE DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS CLOUDPOST YOU ACCUSED US OF CHEATING<<<<< on: August 04, 2017, 07:37:33 PM
So have I got this right: Are you saying they were on one campaign then switched signatures to collect a bounty then back again to cheat and claim another?

2) I hope moderator will check out all the facts and decide if you're just 3 friends or 1 person using 3 accounts to abuse bounty campaigns and claim bounty rewards.

I've asked an admin to look into it.

I have a number of 99 but iam not a altaccount user but actually. Okay  Iam here I tell the truth someone I know log into bitcointalk.org by using my phone and I get paid on posting but not joining campaigns because he wants it  become sr. Member. Plus Iam not one of those Pilipino alt account  user here.

And this is where the excuses start. It's always someone else who just happened to be posting on your internet connection. What was this other account?
4720  Other / Meta / Re: Why is my account banned? on: August 04, 2017, 06:58:05 PM
No, it's not forbidden but if you've bought a hacked a account then it's stolen which is theft and you're not going to get any sympathy from anyone here. Also, emails prove nothing.
