4701  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you convince people to use Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2016, 10:32:42 PM
A safe, anonymous currency priced at "XYZ USD", with which you can easily trade and transaction, can be operated from any device and has strict secutity measures you can activate to be sure nobody can get your account. I also demonstrate this thing by having them create their own wallet and send them a few satoshis.
4702  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: August 05, 2016, 10:27:01 PM
I'm using Bitcoin with my Steam and Xbox accounts, most of the time. It's hard to use it in a daily routine especially when there's no shop nearby accepting BTC as a currency. Also, on gambling websites if they count too.
4703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling has killed me (money vanished) on: August 05, 2016, 04:49:46 PM
This is gambling. Luck or nothing. I'm really sorry for your loss, I hope it wasn't a very big amount. From now on, be VERY careful with your money. You'll be tempted to invest and gamble with all you got again, be cautious and don't do it. Control yourself!!! Try exercising this with offline games maybe, try not to become greedy when you're 100% sure it's going to be a win. House always has the profit.. remember.
4704  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: August 05, 2016, 04:46:25 PM
It's not really a good idea. Not for me at least, as my country doesn't support BTC at all. After looking on many maps, I found out there are just 11 places you can pay with BTC at, out of which like 6 of them are ATMs.

It might be anonymous, fast and safe.. but even if my country would support BTC payments, confirmation would be a pain. For both the customers and the owners.
4705  Other / Off-topic / Re: What can i do with 3 Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2016, 04:05:28 PM
Your friend is pretty dumb for just giving out money like that.

If they're friends, they should trust each other. And it looks like they're close enough as friends to lend $1.6k that easy.

Try to invest the 3BTC in some business. Don't risk it in gambling. I know any investment is a risk too, but it's a much smaller risk for sure. Or if you already know about trading, start doing it with the 3BTC. You can turn it into some good profit in days.
4706  Other / Meta / Re: Weekly/Daily Posts Limit? on: August 05, 2016, 03:56:34 PM
Hey there! This morning I reached 402 posts. There should've been 403 with this topic. However, I don't know why now two posts have been removed. Is there any weekly or daily post limit, or is it possible that two threads have been removed together with my posts?

Thank you!

There is no limit on how many you can post daily or weekly. Probably some mod deleted 1-2 of your posts for being off topic.

I see, thank you for the fast answer! I got a little bit scared as there was no notification coming with the post removal. Cheesy

4708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: August 05, 2016, 01:05:18 PM
While we're wasting our time trying to find out whether the Bitcoin is destroyed or not, people are getting rich from trades and bets. China controlling the BTC mining doesn't mean it's going to be dead sooner or later.

Are the posts in all categories counted except the locals? If not, which categories wouldn't count as a valid post in this campaign?

Also, I've ranked up to Member now. I changed my signature too.

I bid 1 satoshi. COME ON GUYS, BEAT THAT!

This guy is trying to say he's the hacker of Bitfinex as a joke, does really nobody get it? He's just trying to make us laugh.. god damn it, so many guys taking him seriously!
4711  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be our new world currency? on: August 05, 2016, 07:14:27 AM
if bitcoin be a new currency i think its fun, because bitcoin can united all country without any difference in money currency. so people have bitcoin currency and if they travel to one country let say they travel to other country, they can exchange their bitcoin into country money currency, and so on. perhaps in future, we can found many local exchanger which have a good achievement.

bitcoin can be a new solution for every country and i think its a good movement in the future.

Fun for us, but not fun for them.

Since when do governments accept anonymity? I don't think they'd ever agree to it. We've entered a new era with many, many changes. That is right, but I can't see a way of agreement with the governors to make BTC a currency.
4712  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2016, 07:11:14 AM
hopefuly before this year end bitcoin will increase the price because im still holding my bitcoin for the future and for christmas and for my upcomming birthday Smiley hopefuly that miracle happens im still hoping Smiley and other store's will accept bitcoin as a payment and my number wish will be hope bitcoin will be grow up its price too faster in end of 2016
that all want prices to rise when the end of the year and then what to expect from the price increase at the end of the year when prices will fall after the new year, and the most prices fall in mid-year as is now happening.
I think the history at present price of bitcoins right now is the same as like before.. so better to wait for the price to increase again back on november to dcember just liek last year.

these things are common and normal with bitcoin. it always happens, and price goes up and down something the bad news is huge so the drop is big too and sometimes the hype is huge and rise is big too.

so as a regular bitcoin user who is not day trading you shouldn't worry about these things and look at the over all change which has been rise.
I think that the next run-up would be in early 2017, in anticipation of good price rise and yes, the price run-up should be much higher than in 2013.”

That would be great news for us, but unfortunately nobody knows. Now we have to wait until BTC will be healed and will rise back to the $650 price from a few days ago. If we'll continue to have similar 'events' occuring .. price'll never go up.
4713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is now a good time to buy and store Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2016, 07:08:45 AM
It could be. We never know when price will rise, we never know when it will fall. With the 'hacks' like the Bitfinex one from a few days ago, I'd say THIS is the perfect moment to buy a lot of BTC, because it will recover soon and that means just profit. People will believe again in it, we have to wait some time until their fear will be gone.
4714  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under 570 $ we go down again on: August 05, 2016, 07:05:35 AM
In bitcoin, the market support is a constantly moving target, it never stays at one level, remember when they said there was a strong support at 600? What happened to it? It got eaten up and got mowed down. Everyone's telling me there's a strong support at 570, I say the he11 with it, I'm selling half of my coins now at 595, we will see if the current state of the market can support a slow rising or not. I don't think so, we will see 500 again, soon.

Price may fall in coming days, but if you are a true believer of bitcoin then I think you need to hold it at least for next 1 year to earn good profits from it.

Everyone just holding the money is a mistake. I am doing it, but I'm just trying to save as much as I can with the help of my signature campaign. We need transactions, we need to buy BTC. We don't need idling wallets.
4715  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: August 05, 2016, 06:54:49 AM
I'm saving it. I had hundreds of bucks and I spent them on things I shouldn't have bought.. now I regret it (I had over $200 at the time of spending it, and the BTC price was $250... a few weeks later, it went up to $400).. I am now trying to recover all that I lost, by doing signature campaigns. When I'll reach the desired amount.... Hmmm, I guess I'll either keep it there, in my account, or I'll exchange it into Gold.
4716  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: August 05, 2016, 06:44:08 AM
It's us controlling it. We're using the currency more on less, and this is the factor making the price change. AFAIK, price goes up as soon as there are more, bigger transactions incoming because that means BTC is looked for by people and it's becoming popular. The more sold, the less the price because it means people are starting to get rid of it. That happened now with Bitfinex, whem people stopped buying BTC and started selling it instead, fearing the end of BTC. The 'hackers' probably sold the $78M they had and now are going to buy BTC again. That means over 10kBTC profit..
4717  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still have time to reach the 21 BTC goal? on: August 05, 2016, 06:31:47 AM
I don't have enough time.. I wish I had that much money to save. Plus that... Nobody knows what's gonna happen to Bitcoin when it reaches the max amount (21mil). Will it end? Will the price skyrocket and make BTC become something extremely rare? Or will there be no change? I've got a lot of questions.. it's hard to get 21BTC, that means a lot. And if we'll be saving 21BTC and as soon as it reaches 21mil it'll go down.... It'd be a loss of time, and of money.
4718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: August 05, 2016, 12:01:30 AM
Never. I've got another question for you: when will we be able to be anonymous in this world? The institutions of this world are constantly tracking our moves. It's like we are their pets and we need 'to be safe'. We can be unsafe whether they are tracking us or not. Bitcoin being anonymous, ir's now their enemy. They got to come with really bad news to bring BTC to a low popularity. Unless they will find a way to make BTC trackable, it's never gonna happen.
4719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any Bitcoin companies based in HongKong are scamers! what you think? on: August 04, 2016, 11:58:55 PM
You can't accuse all the Hong Kong being a scam because of a website. Everywhere im this world you can find scammers. I'm pretty sure most of the companies from HK are legit, but of course we need some scams too.. the scammers never go away Cheesy
4720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the banks?! on: August 04, 2016, 11:54:50 PM
I don't think so. That would mean bank transactions would be anonymous, which is a disadvantage for the governments. Because we need to be controlled, right?.......

Trust me, governors absolutely hate BTC. They can't accept something like this, and the first to come with this idea will fail.
