4701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: December 05, 2017, 11:32:00 PM
Hello guys. I just want to ask for your opinion or an advice.
I started trading since May 2017. I calculated all my loss, I already lost 50% of my capital  Sad. Some coins are still in hold.
I just want to ask what can you give to me an advice or any learnings  about trading. I'm using bittrex.
Firstly I would suggest you to avoid bittrex, many people call it shittrex now because they freeze funds for no reason and their support don't cares about customers.
Then I would say that your second problem after bittrex is no knowledge. You don't have to just collect money and turn in game, you need to learn at first, try yourself to find good books, don't look for help from others. When you try yourself very hard, you will achieve success. I mean you have to take some work and search yourself, read much and etc.
4702  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Empowering future miners and newbies on: December 05, 2017, 10:50:16 PM
It's more profitable because current price is very high, you see it yourself. But it's not so easy to start mining. You need money, equipment, cooling and etc. Of course many people just can't start mining because don't know much about it. Some people prefer to stay away from job which doesn't suits them. That's why there are big mining companies and they do their best to keep or improve their current positions.
4703  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁 LOTTERY 🎁BITSLER'S 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY 🎁 on: December 05, 2017, 10:22:38 PM
Hello Bitsler ! I have been depoing like crazy although i lost ( my own fault) but i used to be able to depo eth then exchange it to btc or oposite, now exchanger is disabled and when you wan to to withdraw i need to wait till the admins will wake up and have breakfast or coffee till they process my withdraw !
Please fix the instant withdraw !
Thanks
Can you tell me what's your rank? Exchange was instant but it changed some months ago and Baryom posted the reasons of this action from Bitsler's team. But as I know it depends on rank too, if you have high rank (maybe more than 10), you can exchange it immediately without problems. Better to communicate with them and request some privilegies (Don't know if they accept it or even do it).
4704  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: In the beginning days when people were mining with CPU on: December 04, 2017, 11:34:47 PM
did people started with only cpu ? and not with gpu ?

when did gpu mining started ? i mean how many months/years after initial cpu mining started

what i am trying to understand is,

when majority of people were mining with cpu., did some people started mining with gpu and didnt tell anybody just to mine as much as possible in short time., so that only they will benefit from it ?

did something like that happen ?

because gpu mining is just a piece of software and whoever made it public, only after that people came to know about gpu mining,
there is chance that people were already mining with gpu but secretly.

if thats the case.,

what is stopping from people to mine even faster than ASIC, and not tell anybody ? i mean keep it secret.,
or have we reached at the point, that its not easier for averrage joe to get more speed than ASIC ?

sorry for so many questions and bad english., this struck me while i was trying to find the fastest way to create bitcoin address from sha 256 private key .

You act like there is doubts people were already using antminer s9 8 years ago. But maybe someone would mine or not because bitcoin wasn't popular and also some genius people are so enthusiastic that they make everything publick. Blockchain is an open book for every question. Since I was never interested with this question, I can't give real answer but I have my own doubts. But again, I think no one would mine with asic or great mining hardware when difficulty was so low.
4705  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Question - Unconfirmed Transactions on Blockchain.info Wallet on: December 04, 2017, 10:34:21 PM
It's actually a little strange that Regular fee setting would set it to such a low fee, but blockchain wallet's been known to have problems with its dynamic fee setting. I second the recommendation by onnz to use Electrum. This, along with an estimator like bitcoinfees21.earn.com, have helped me hugely in getting transactions confirmed in the time I want.

Anyway, to answer your other queries:
1. No time limit on transactions. Bitcoin transactions cannot be cancelled, and they cannot be refunded or reversed. Transactions simply remain in the network until they are picked up by miners or are dropped when there too long. But as long as you keep broadcasting it, it will be there indefinitely waiting to be confirmed.
2. The accelerators that do work and are free (with conditions) are confirmtx.com, viabtc and antpool. Google those for the links =)
Maybe you see that fee is lower than 0.0001btc so viabtc is useless in this situation. Can say the same about antpool (maybe you mean btc.com's accelerator) because they request so high fees, confirming can even cost more than actual transaction. I have never used confirmtx and don't know their rules/terms too. You can also contact QuickSeller here, as I know he has access on f2pool and can accelerate/confirm your transaction.
4706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 03, 2017, 11:53:42 PM
Does that even make sense with the current transaction times and fees? You are going to pay more for the fees than for your meal. Unless the fees go down drastically, it makes no sense to use bitcoin as a daily payment method.
Is that news real? Because I can't see similar posts on more trusted websites. At first I would answer you that if they integrate, it will be like it was on buy starbucks with bitcoins. There will be something like bitpay where people will have bitcoin and buy with it so there will be no fees. Imagine they accept bitcoin users from xapo, coinbase, bitpay, foldapp and etc. We will pay zero fees in this way.

4708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big of a role does privacy play? on: November 30, 2017, 11:57:23 PM
How important is privacy for you? In terms of making transactions online. As you know bitcoin is not very anonymous and once someone finds out your address, that can be linked to anything you have every purchased.
Why do you need that extra high security? There is no need of this. There are mixers for them who needs it and these mixers already do their job on high level, I haven't seen mixer owner or mixer user caugh ever (it will only happen if person made mistake, forget somethinf or etc like kickass admin did when he logged in in fb and apple's account with one ip). So privacy is important on moderate level and that's protected.
4709  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit Investbox. You say I can make $170 per month? on: November 30, 2017, 11:37:46 PM
OP please don't promote scammer's scam service. Yes scammers because everything they do is very dirt, they hang on their users. Also there are many other things like investbox you are looking for but seems you are child or have hope of free money, wrong section. You have to be first ans luckier to get profit from hyip or otherwise you lose. Also avoid cloud minings, legit ones don't worths for profit and others are scams which offers money back in 3 months.
4710  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money is needed to manipulate Bitcoin's price by 1%? on: November 30, 2017, 11:18:06 PM
we talk about small market  about 160k BTC so you need 1-3k bitcoin and can move price up/down .

it is about 10,000,000$ or 30,000,000$
oh, you live in a world where people have 100x more money than what you wrote. It's not like one man has 1% and can manipilate, there is a need of cooperation and a lot of dirty work. Just imagine, any poor country has possibility to become 100x rich by buying and manipulating but nothing is hidden, no one gives possibility one man to do everything on his/her own, it's big and wide business.
4711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are corrections like today actually a sign of health? on: November 30, 2017, 10:57:21 PM
Just today Bitcoin has lost nearly 2,000$ after it’s sharp rise. So could this be a sign of health/maturity, meaning that Bitcoin won’t shoot up or down really fast without correcting; or does this just mean nothing other than a normal correction?
I have no idea how can you call normal something that happened in seconds while we were waiting for it for 7 years in past, yes I mean we wanted bitcoin to be higher than 1000$ and now this happened in seconds, rise and fall, both happened. That's not normal of course but the fact that it didn't lose it's stability is pretty good. Also while sudden rise happend, there is a chanse of more higher and sudden fall too, remember this.
4712  Other / Archival / Re: [NEWS] [banned mixer] — the Fast, Secure and Reliable High Volume Bitcoin Mixer! on: November 30, 2017, 10:39:12 PM
Dear CryptoMixer:

You have sent a transaction that is very very large, with a very very small fee. It looks like you are capping fees at 0.01 BTC. Unfortunately, for a transaction that is very big (we are talking about XX,XXX kb), this will NEVER CONFIRM.

You have taken MULTIPLE BITCOINS from the fee, I think you can afford to not cap fees at 0.01 BTC.

Please rebroadcast the transaction with a higher fee; otherwise you effectively have deprived me of XXX BTC as it will never confirm.
Absolutely agreed, I tested your service 2 months ago and you had this problem, it took 1 day for confirmation and at that time satoshis/byte, I mean fees for transactions were very low. So consider this please because when we are charged for 0.0005btc + some fees, it will be appreciated to give us possibility of quick confirmation because there is some situation where we need it as soon as possible + some mixers don't offer mixing below 0.01 and that makes your service usable for another category of mixers.
4713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do we still have no good bitcoin poker on: November 30, 2017, 10:16:24 PM
Usually bitcoin websites only care about dice and that's not good, some of them started thinking about sports betting and other games lately. I think another reason js that people don't care much about that but personally I find bitcoin for poker better and more funnier than simple currency. It will be great when you can bet 100 bits, 1000 and etc, playing on low but potentially high valuable money (btc). I think if more people request it, they will concider it like bitsler did it once on burstcoin.
4714  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to avoid high tax buying antminer in Europe on: November 30, 2017, 09:33:13 PM
15%? That is cheap... *cries in third world country* In my country VAT is 20% and you need to pay additional 10% something called "custom tax" fucked them! And when you take in count everything i need to pay around 600$ around 2k$ worth package...

There is other way what my friend used with his friend from USA... But Bitmain wouldn't do that.. They wouldn't risk getting import banned in certain country... Anyways it goes like this..

Friend from USA sent him 13 miners... he has scratched cases A LOT, and pour some dust on it, so it looks like old used gear... he only paid... HERE IT COMES.... 13$ VAT....yea..
Genius, great way but it will be better if we keep some "secrets" and don't write everything publickly. Btw sometimes bitmain's miners are really full of dust.
OP it was possible to reduce tax while it was sent but now I have no idea why even do you think about that. It's very late and 100% impossible to avoid tax. But in future consider your loss and act differently, I can't say anything more.
4715  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁 LOTTERY 🎁19 BILLIONTH BETS PROMOTION🎁 on: November 30, 2017, 09:11:22 PM
BitSler has the biggest casino so far, especially on Game of Dice. and the big reason why BitSler can stand up untill now, 'cause strong of community as widely and globally. Trusted of casino, fast support / an assist.
So make your casino be keep with us, an idea for a new games on casino for future?

Bitsler is the biggest casino, not has Cheesy
Yes, there are players from all around the world + you can see chat for some native language speakers. They gained trust because as you see support always responds posts/threads here, on bitsler and on emails, nothing gets hide and every problem is solved always. Baryom posted here that they know, there is a need of some new games and they will work on it to provide them soon.
4716  Economy / Economics / Re: 100 bits = $1 USD on: November 30, 2017, 08:35:43 PM
I thought this thought is kinda amazing and felt like sharing. Smiley

100 bits = 10,000 satoshis.
So .. 100 sat = $0.01 USD ..

Who knows how many USD you'll need to afford a single satoshi in the future. Cheesy
What about faucets ? It's amazing. And Bitcoin is not even 10 years old ...

... Just my 2 sats.
Man no one knew if price would skyrocket, now 0.0001btc =1$ and some years ago it was very easy to collect that 1$ by filling capture once in hour. And with 5-6 highpaying faucets and current price, it was very easy to earn 10$ in 4-5 hour. So I believe if anyone knew, no faucet would offer so big price and faucet users/abusers would be on it for 24 hour.
4717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Seriously, does bitcoin has fixed life in internet and crypto world? on: November 30, 2017, 02:30:14 PM
Maybe I'll ask questions which were already answered but I am really interested in it.
We know bitcoin's supply is fixed, 21 million. Mining will stop after that. So who will confirm transactions? I guess miners will be forced away from the block rewards they receive for their work. So I think transaction size must be 100x more to keep low fees.
But I think there will be a need of redesigning whole bitcoin's abilities, how it works and etc. Currently it's great but will it be so great in future without changes?
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I try to win back my loss? on: November 29, 2017, 11:59:27 PM
In gambling theory, trying to win back after loses is desperately used by the gambling addict, because if you are in good thinking you can choose to escape and back if the negativity of your body were lost. Sometimes we can't win because there's a lot of negative vibes to our body due to stressed in our life. So I think it's better if we lost it first before playing.

Otherwise, if you feel that your not lucky in the games, I suggest to stopped and back on the next day. Because if you continue playing there's a possibility of instead of earning income, more loses you will gain.

It's a different story when you are in the game. Sometimes you forgot everything because of excitement. You tend to skip your meals, your chores at home, and sometimes you start to ignore people in your phone because of gambling.

But you have a point there, if you are negative, you'll have a hard time winning and if you lose, it feels like everything is falling. That is why it is better to atleast have a break in between games when you feel that you are not lucky, go out.
If anyone does that despite the fact how funny can be sounded skipping meals for gambling, he/she has very serious problems and needs psychologist as soon as possible because it's even out from abnormality. Gambling is gambling, not a profit machine or source. Game is for fun so is gambling but if anyone wishes to profit and thinks he/she is better than anyone, let's do it but don't cry when you try ro win back loses. Good luck everyone, don't go in deep..
4719  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT Scam/Theft - waiting five months on $10000 on: November 29, 2017, 11:38:55 PM
The best I can say is that please don't use any exchanger without seing threads here or as we see it can cause some fatal erors, people lose money and register here after that. There are still many people who don't knows about yobit's unethical actions. They even trade dead coins, they do any shit to get much profit. Currently revealed every bad bitcoin service provider is usually tagged here so just try to google, scroll down and look for bitcointalk threads (bitcointalk has good positions in google so it makes search process very easy).
Does it worths for you to hire lawer? I guess it can't change situation or it will cost you a lot of money.
4720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next BTC Crash? When? on: November 29, 2017, 11:17:27 PM
I think no one was expecting current results. Once even theymos wrote here ( I guess he is good in bitcoin economic too, he is our admin at all) that he couldn't imagine if bitcoin rise would last so much time without crash, it still continues to grow and today we saw how it jumped by approximetly 2000$, that's insane. So I think no one has any idea when it will happen, hard to say because nothing affects it's price, it even becomes stronger everyday.
