4701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Make money with martingale applied to dice game ? on: November 22, 2018, 06:31:23 PM
This method already discuss with plenty and many people has been trying martingale method but eventually they were lost although have huge bankroll and i personally disagree with your opinion about consecutive losses and i don't dare to sacrifice my money to 20 or 25 consecutive lost for 1 times won use martingale

Tell me something bering. You see all those posts in the thread saying the same thing, that the subject has been discussed many times in the past, and you still come here to repeat after them. Have some decency and put more effort into your shitposting. Tongue We all know what martingale is, there's no point in going over that a thousand time.

This strategy has been discussed many times before and as others have said this will not work.

This strategy has often been discussed indeed
4702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 10000 miners shut down due to market conditions on: November 22, 2018, 06:22:39 PM
It's 2014 all over again. In 2014 there was a large increase in mining companies because of the development in ASIC mining. Along with them came cloud mining companies. Most of those new startup went bankrupt by the end of 2014. Some of the biggest mining scandals of 2014? CoinTerra, AMT miners and GAW miners:

We've seen it all before.
4703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next time people tell you bitcoin is banned in China, show him this pic. on: November 22, 2018, 06:01:53 PM
The ban is real. It's not the ban on using cryptocurrencies. If you want to sell your car for crypto, you can do it, but you will have to register the deal as if it was paid in fiat and pay taxes in fiat. The banned part is all about financial institutions and exchanges. You can't run a crypto - fiat exchange in China and you banks won't process your payments if they find out that an exchange is the target. To be able to use exchanges you need an offshore account.
4704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btc price....what's happening? on: November 22, 2018, 05:42:23 PM
The most important question is: Will most altcoins recover their previous value? in January ETH reached $1300 and had a Market Cap of $130 billion dollars, now has a Market Cap of 13 billion dollars, this is a very big fall, and with the regulations and with many cases of Scam ICO the chance to see $1300 and a Market Cap of $130 billion dollars are very small. In the case of bitcoin things are still more possible, but the altcoins can have a very bad destiny

I have heard this being brought up by many crypto investors and gurus and the prevailing thought among them was that Bitcoin is the safest store of value if you want to remain in cryptos. Nobody is going to create laws for altcoins. Nobody is going to make sure you can buy coffee with dogecoin or litecoin. All laws and all adoption will be built for Bitcoin first and if it does fine then it will be extended to altcoins.
4705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are destroyed, everyone is disappointed on: November 22, 2018, 12:15:21 AM
Bitcoin price is in constant decline. Its hard to control our emotions in this time. But not all of people here are disappointed with the price. I think all bitcoin believers and traders are now in buy mode. Because of lower value.

Constant? There was a very big move up in August. If you bought at the bottom of 600 dollars you could make a lot of money in that month. These short cycles within a larger bear or bull market happen at least once per 6 months. The price won't be declining forever. The next cycle will come. Maybe in a year and maybe in 3 years but we all know it will happen and the patient ones will win.
4706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Real estate for bitcoins your opinion on: November 21, 2018, 10:55:45 PM
I'd call that a great idea. We are either at the bottom or very near it. The long term Bitcoin trendline that we have been following for many years is above 3000 USD.  There's a chance that we'll touch it but we can also go up from above it. I really don't see us breaking below it. There would have to be some crazy problem with Bitcoin for us to go below. Also, next year we will have a move up simply because such move happens every time after a year of bear market. If you have the balls to buy Bitcoin now you will make money.
4707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you describe decentralization as concisely as possible? on: November 21, 2018, 10:42:40 PM
To make it short and simple decentralization is private custody. It's independence. When you own something that you can move around freely and that nobody can take from you hiding behind some law or authority. Things that you have to get a license to use are centralized. They depend on others to function.

Of course, not my business and this is Darkstar_'s decision but...hilariousandco is right, give the man at least a few mourning days till Saturday, for god's sake!!!

Mourn? It's a bonus payment for forum posts not some important career matter. You get kicked you find another one.
He must really want in if he checks user profiles for trust and infringements always ready to take their spots. An interesting individual no doubt.
4709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It Takes 9343$ to mine one bitcoin, so no way i am selling it below 12000$ on: November 21, 2018, 09:39:44 PM
This mining price does matter too much now as it is always changing. Despite all of these changes and Bitcoin falls, I will not sell it for at least 2-3 years. I have chosen the way of a hodler.

Although it is changing, it takes time for the difficulty to adjust. If the miners are forced to operate below profitability for too long they will go bankrupt. Some of them were an the edge at 6000. Now nobody is taking profits and the bills will keep piling.
4710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2018, 09:18:22 PM
Bitcoin isn't the one that should be blamed for people's greed, because the price in no shape or form reflects the utility of Bitcoin, just people's greed.

It actually surprises me that you bring this up, because when I look at the date you registered your account, you (in case you are still the same account owner) very likely have seen the market tank below $200 back in early 2015. Back then people said it's game over as well, and here we are. It's just another cycle we are going through.

$20,000 versus the various correction scenarios.

80% = $4000
85% = $3000 (my guess based on technical ball analysis)
90% = $2000

We're getting there.

I don't know how you're measuring it but you never measure the bull run from 0 but from its bottom. 2000 would be a 90% correction if we started from 0 in 2017, but we didn't!
Below 800 dollars it was almost flat trading. There was no bull run there and that price should not and is not considered in real TA. Also, the ATH is not 20,000 it's below 19700. However you look at it you're off by 1000 USD.
4711  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is why I'm not worried about Bitcoin price. on: November 20, 2018, 09:06:17 PM
I'll be worried if we go below 1000 dollars because there would have to be a giant flaw in Bitcoin for us to go this low. Or Satoshi would have to sell everything on the market. The biggest trades are taking place outside exchanges. You don't even know what the real "price" is. And the real price is not the price of coins on manipulating bitfinex, but the price at which large investors are buying behind their backs to avoid fees.
4712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why does the Bitcoin price keeps nose diving? on: November 20, 2018, 09:03:37 PM
The price keeps nose diving because there are more sellers than buyers. Why are there more sellers than buyers? Because there hasn't been much positive (if any) news about Bitcoin for most of the year...people are bored.

I think it might be because of federal prosecutors launching a criminal probe into the cryptocurrencies earlier this year, but why?

What prosecutors? What criminal probe? In what country? When you speak in such generalities you don't help us engage in your discussion.

He must be talking about that article that I saw somewhere about prosecutors going after Bitfinex again for tether manipulation. While I'd like tether to just disappear because there's too much stink hovering around it, people going after tether is not people going after Bitcoin otr cryptocurrencies in general.
4713  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] YOLOdice.com Signature Campaign on: November 20, 2018, 07:32:05 PM
Signature updated. Thanks for all the payments. I haven't had to ask or demand anything since I joined in 2017. Best campaign ever, good job!
4714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can reach 12000$ value BTC and 800$ value Eth end of year ? on: November 18, 2018, 05:37:44 PM
It can't. Every bear market ends with a very slow uptrend that confirms the bottom. We were close to getting there in Bitcoin in October and November but it all went down in the end ending our hopes for this to be the awaited stabilization. Now we'll have to go through it again so maybe if we're lucky we'll get another pump in Spring of 2019.
4715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New cryptocurrency the “Petro” on: November 18, 2018, 04:41:24 PM
most probably i would never touch this coin mainly because it is centralized although it is not the worst kind of centralization since there is a government behind it instead of a shady company with unknown people who are obviously scamming you!
but this coin exists and their government have been advertising it a lot and have been trying to make it bigger. i have yet to see the price and its market though!

A cryptocurrency made do bailout the government is already a red flag because we all know that they will try to sell their stakes for USD to be able to by commodities or help their local currency. If you know that somebody is making a cryptocurrency to get more fiat money you shouldn't touch it, even with a long stick.
The second red flag is that the government that is responsible for it is feeble and can't manage the economy. You don't want those people to be in control of your money.
4716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How twitter affects the price of Bitcoin on: November 18, 2018, 04:35:15 PM
Social media don't affect the price. The news affect it and social media only allow the news to quickly get to a large audience. Social media for the Internet now is what the television was for people in the 80s and 90s. The main source of information evolved from newspapers into radio, television, and finally social media and Internet tv.
4717  Economy / Services / Re: I lost my all btc,ltc,doge coins! on: November 18, 2018, 03:45:25 PM
Your assumptions are like accusations. Why will you say that about someone you do not even know? We should sympathize with him. He needs our love for that is a great loss he has incurred. Am sorry OP. But the truth is your coins are gone for good if that was hacked.

Why should we sympathize? For all that we know he could be lying about this. How can you be so rich and at the same time so careless with your money?
How can you hold so many coins and have no knowledge about Bitcoin and transactions. He had millions of dollars in Bitcoin and didn't know that transactions are irreversible? It's all very suspicious.
4718  Economy / Services / Re: I lost my all btc,ltc,doge coins! on: November 18, 2018, 03:41:11 PM
I don't believe it, there's no way someone has this much crypto just sitting on an standard PC wallet. I was paranoid to the max with a paper wallet with a handful of coins. Multiple hardware wallets and never entering the seed words on anything is the way you do it.

I think he choose a random address with a recent operation and is now claiming that it was his. If you control this address sign a message with it! If you sign it we'll at least know that you are telling the truth and you used to have almost 2 million dollars in BTC on that single address. This will make you a moron, but at least an honest one.
If I had 2 million it would be divided into many wallets and addresses and kept offline.
4719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you HODL because you believe the price will go up? Or are you lost too much? on: November 18, 2018, 03:31:06 PM
I haven't lost anything. Most of my coins were earned not bought with fiat and I don't care about their fiat value much. I'm not going to spend my coins until there are ways to spend. I don't want to exchange it all into fiat first, I want to really use coins daily. That's what I'm waiting for and I know that by the time I'm able to Bitcoin will be worth more than its ATH today.
4720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: November 18, 2018, 02:53:49 PM
Seeing how the odds are pretty often against you in gambling as the gambling services are for making money out of you and not the reverse, do you still decide to gamble? If so, why?
I am also a gambler and i really do think playing gambling is just a watse of my momey and time, that is why i only play gambling if my friends started to ask me to go with them to have fun but i don't push myslef to use a lot of money in playing.

You just have to treat the rake, which makes the odds look like they're against you, like the casino free that you pay to enter and play. They need these money to pay the dealers, clean the floors, pay the bills. It's a good idea to bet low and just have fun. You're going there to have fun, not to become a millionaire all of a sudden.
