4722  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 09-Feb-2020] on: February 12, 2020, 09:32:40 AM
Looks like Luckydice decided to end their campaign after 2 weeks. Here is information from one of the campaign managers

It looks like this campaign will unfortunately end with immediate effect, so you can remove your signature, avatar and personal text, if you wish to do so. I will tally up and payments for week 2 will get sent today.

Sorry for inconvenience.
4723  Economy / Reputation / Re: Senior and Hero account seller. on: February 11, 2020, 07:06:53 AM
Just to add on what Yahoo62278 said,  others could just be scammers  claiming to have an account for sale yet they actually don't. They afe just waiting prey on anyone stupid enough to trust them.
4724  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this user tried to steal members password? Very suspicious. on: February 11, 2020, 01:29:06 AM
I saw that post in the services board a few days back. The announcement was all unserious, unprofessional and a big joke but i was surprised at the amount of people who were signing up to the websites without hesitation despite not being sure whether they would get paid.

The outcomes don't surprise me at all, just like you suspect, @Confit must have been carrying out social engineering to gather people's login details.
4725  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice deceived investors? on: February 10, 2020, 11:17:45 PM
Many if not all ICOs back in 2017 made such promises to investors. Anyone who was careful enough would have thought that the price of an asset is driven by demand and when demand dies out, the price will always go down.
I dunno how this is going to be handled but i feel sorry for those who put their money into the ICO

"Due to extreme and escalating weather conditions and in the interests of supporter and staff safety, today’s @premierleague
match against West Ham has been postponed."

Thanks for the info. I guess the game might then be played within a week since this game week is stretched out. I wonder why they had to stretch all this game week's 10 games throughout the whole 2 weekends thou. This weekend was so boring on Premier League's side... Some of us had to seek refugee in Italia's Seria A  Cheesy

The answer is just right above your post. Just read a little, it won't hurt you  Wink

I remember in 2017, this kind of attacks were common which made Theymos decide to opt for the Cloudfare protection. Now my question is, how are these attackers still able to bypass the current protection in place?
4728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 09, 2020, 10:55:54 PM
Valencia was the team that they want Barcelona with 2-0.
I expected them to be more competitive in this game against Getafe. Getafe is having a great season but a 3-0 is too much.
They also got battered by RCD Mallorca, a team that was at the bottom of the standings at that time by 4 goals to 1 in the match before that Barça victory. I hope you haven't forgotten too soon.

Valencia is a very unstable team and no one should waste their time placing bets on it at the moment
4729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 09, 2020, 10:31:36 PM
I thought the Manchester City vs West Ham match was going to be played this evening only to check in my sofascore app and saw that it was postponed. Does anyone know the reason for the postponement?
4730  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: simpleswap.org is web site scam i lost 0.01BTC today on: February 09, 2020, 08:49:29 PM
sorry, any case, i deleted my link in the signature
There is no problem with having a referral link in your signature. It's not against the forum rules. What is against the forum rules is  putting your referral in posts... That being said, next time be very alert when searching for a website on the search engine and then visiting it. There are some many scam websites out there waiting for you to make a mistake.
4731  Economy / Exchanges / Re: SimpleSwap, instant cryptocurrency exchange with more than 175 coins. on: February 09, 2020, 08:37:39 PM
i was scammed in simpleswap.org  >>>  https://www.simpleswap.org/exchange?id=8rde5EpreV#
Dude, if you read the OP, it's SimpleSwap.io and not simpleswap.org. It looks like you have been scammed by a phishing website. Always check the URL multiple times before using the service or you will lose your money. Nothing can now be done to recover that money.

SimpleSwap.io is an easy-to-use instant exchange. Our user interface simplifies the cryptocurrency exchanges and allows you to exchange over 300+ cryptocurrencies, and does not hold any limits.
4732  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Blender.io - Advanced privacy for Bitcoin transactions (mixer) on: February 09, 2020, 08:24:02 PM
Seems that the blender team is not so active in this community.
The rep profile was active just 3 days ago so i think they are reachable. They are sometimes online only that they don't post that often but they also have an active signature campaign that pays relatively well for just 15 posts per week.

Are they still doing good in this kind of business?
Curious how bitcoin mixers are doing these days though...
I think bitcoin mixing business is profitable if you establish ground. The only problem is the risk involved in this kind of business. I remember the likes of bitblender and bestmixer back then before they had to forcefully shut down, they were making a tone of money.
4733  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 💠 [ANN] SmartMixer.io | Crypto Mixer | Be Smart, Be Anonymous ❗❗✅ on: February 09, 2020, 04:06:39 PM
I noticed that unlike other popular mixers in the past and present, you people have a telegram channel. AFAIK telegram can submit private data like chat logs, IP addresses, mobile numbers etc to authorities if requested for serious investigation.

We all know what happened last year, one mixer was seized by authorities after they had concluded the investigations (we have no idea who long authorities had been watching them), another one closed off their business and wiped out their servers within a week in panic and on short notice meaning they must have discovered they were being watched. This means there will always be a witch hunt for mixers no matter how genuine the intentions are.

What plans do you have to avoid such disaster? Because if authorities start watching you they will leave no stone unturned, they will try to request for that data from telegram to continue with their investigation.
4734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 08, 2020, 11:45:03 PM
I believe Ighalo will be an instant hit at manchester united, and will provide the attacking spark and goal scoring threat that has been often missing in the United frontline.
I have a feeling he won't live up to the expectations at Manchester United. He's already 30. A much younger Lukaku even looked more promising before he joined United and guess what happened. I think there is a lot that needs to change at Old Trafford before the glory get back there.
4735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 08, 2020, 11:17:07 PM
Watched the match, it was fun especially to as Neutrals  Cheesy
Verona was so aggressive... No much surprise because even in the first leg, Juventus had to dig deeper in order to win that match. I wish more teams would come out to challenge Juventus like this.
4736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 08, 2020, 11:00:02 PM
But I don't get you, which game are you referring to? Yes, they haven't been playing as well as they should all the time but they're still in contention for all cups still in play, unlike Real.
Barcelona is also out of Copa Del Rey, they lost to Athletic club... Didn't you watch the match? It was there on the same day as Real's.

It was very surprising that Valencia lost to Getafe.
This lost actually made me lose my parlay for today. They lost so easily with 3 goals conceded... Unbelievable...
Why would you be surprised mate?
Getafe is third on the table, just a few points away from Barca.
4737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can Atomic Swap be used to act the same way as/even better than Coin Mixing? on: February 08, 2020, 01:23:41 PM
I thought about it before but you would rather use a coinmixer because;
1. You will end up spending a lot in fees when doing an atomic swap. So carrying out 2 atomic swaps means losing more coins in fees not forgetting the exchange rates that are always set so that the DEXes can make some profit out of your trades.

2. Not convenient; Most atomic swaps have maximum limits for coins you want to exchange so imagine if someone wants to convert 20 BTC and the atomic swap has a limit of only 2 BTC per trade. Some even start asking for KYC (read changelly)  Grin

Verdict: Coin mixers are a cheaper option, much more convenient to use
4738  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Cointiply on: February 08, 2020, 12:31:18 AM
Never heard of them before, however after a small search

1. Here is their official thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2889264

2. You can also check this thread from beermoney forums; the chaps there usually risk and check if a site is legit and paying. Make sure you carefully read through all the posts before investing your time and resources into it: https://www.beermoneyforum.com/threads/cointiply-reviews-scam-or-legit.12129/page-54
3.  This thread does not belong here, please move it to the microearning board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0
The move topic button is at the bottom left.
4739  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning about a dishonest bitcoin investor calls herself Alicia from Mexico on: February 07, 2020, 11:56:45 PM
You should learn to trade for yourself. Stop depending on random people to trade/invest for you. This is something which you can learn by yourself. There is a lot of learning material on the web.

Telling you to open a scam accusation thread in this forum will not help you, neither will it even help anyone. People really needs to start making use of their senses.
You may not be aware of it but it does help other people. I have witnessed a couple of people confess that the opened scam accusation threads of certain projects or scam tactics helped save them from getting ripped off after doing a small search on google.

Obviously OP won't get back his money, but he may save someone else.

I just checked his/her reputation and its already  fucked up. I personally wouldn't care about such people and would just let the dead continue resting in peace by ignoring their PMs.
