Why people are still pushing it is because they want to have a chance to see Mayweather loss in this fight. Manny is active and fully healthy right now, he fought toe to toe against the champion and a younger fighter so Manny might have a good shot in this rematch, and although I didn't believe that much that he can beat Mayweather if they will fight the same style but one punch hitting Mayweather might make Mayweather slowed down, for sure after the fight, Manny are already thinking of the rematch and they have studied very well on how to beat Mayweather. Boxing fans are pushing for this one as this is the only logical fight for Manny before he retires. Bob Arum once said that if the rematch between Floyd and Manny does not materialize then it is better for Manny to retire and for me Arum is right though maybe he has some motive saying that. Don't know why Floyd don't agree to the rematch, this is very winnable for him and he will get the larger piece of the pie and they are also under the same promoter. He maybe waiting for them to turn 50 years old before agreeing to that rematch lol. |

And the most logical fight to see champion vs champion here is Spence Jr. vs Pacquiao as both are stable mates under Haymon's PBC.
With Mayweather out in the selection for Manny's next opponent, Spence Jr is what the fight fans want too but i doubt if Team Pacman would bite the offer if there is. Pacman was exposed on that Thurman fight, in the latter round he ran out of gas and these young fighters like Spence Jr would exploit that and besides Manny will be a year older by next year. I was moved to put my bet on Inoue since sports analysts of a certain newspaper in my town was crediting that Donaire will have a hard time dealing with the Japanese. I also thought the analyst was right because Donaire was not the same as he was before and Inoue was more hungry for the win than him.
For me, I would not do that, with the current odds of Inoue, its not wise to risk a decent amount of money. Just try to analyze this, say for example, you are betting on Inoue and the odds to win is 1.07 only, which means if you put $1000, you will only get $70. Its not worth it, I tell you man, I suggest to just enjoy the game and forget that bet. Maybe the odds will change as the match goes near. Let's see when the fight is near and I will place bets. Anyways, $70 is obviously too low but at least you know that the boxer you are betting with has a higher chance to win the fight. Yeah, it's too risky to place bets right now that's why I will still wait for the odds to change. For me. Of course, Discipline really matters in gambling you need to set some limits so that you will not lose bigger amounts. It is better than going all out or all in sometimes it pays off sometimes not. It really helps you in making decisions and other stuff. Discipline is really important in all aspects and our daily routines.
Perhaps, if many gamblers can have discipline in gambling, they don't have to face a bigger loss. But we are human which is not perfect and we still learn about discipline and many others to prevent from the mistake. Making a limit is one of the preventive ways that we can do in gambling, so if we can gather with discipline, it will work well for us to save our money. But there will be lure or passion that will keep telling us to go on, and on so we might lose the discipline, and we might break the money limiting. That will depend on how strong we can control ourselves to hold our emotions. Yeah, it is easy to say to have discipline but sometimes you might break your own rules. lol. Sometimes I keep telling myself that this will be my last bet for today and then I still continue playing because of the will to win. I don't know but sometimes it is very hard to control yourself from the greed as you said we are just human and not perfect but everyday we keep learning from our mistakes and take it as an experience.
