4721  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Explain to me how to start mining in the newbies way. on: November 24, 2021, 06:30:03 PM
All you need is already on the sticky thread on this section why not read them first instead?
Or you can just go read them here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4636521.0

Actually, it's a basic thing it's just like a Plug'n'Play you need to set up the ASIC miner and a pool where you want to mine and make sure you can provide a 220v directly from the wall outlet.
4722  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: PLEASE HELP!!! Did I lose my BTC? (Coinbase-Electrum transfer 72h wait) on: November 24, 2021, 06:21:52 PM
I encrypted my file a few years ago on my linux debian computer, I do not use this comp now. I have only this encrypted file in my phone and in two usb sticks that are in a metal safe, and I have learnt my seed by heart. Everything else is paranoia...

When exactly did you create your wallet?

Based on your Electrum wallet the Bitcoin went to your wallet and sent right away after it confirms there is a 15 minutes gap before it's sent to another wallet which I think I believe someone already has control of your wallet. They created a script to automate sending BTC if the wallet receives any amount of BTC. That script was spreading before I think last 2019.

So when was the first time you created your wallet?
If your wallet was created before 2019 and installed Electrum lower than 3.4.4 before then maybe you accidentally updated it with the fake version of Electrum and you can't just remember because it was long ago and now you send BTC from Coinbase to Electrum and you think that you didn't receive the BTC that Coinbase sent you. So you decided to reinstall the wallet and use the latest one?

Actually, a PC/laptop that is always connected online has always vulnerable to any attacks without any protection your Pc/Laptop can be infected with malware and viruses.
Also, don't use the free antivirus from Microsoft they actually useless if your pc doesn't have any security protection then your wallet is already compromised.

Would you mind trying the NeuroticFish suggestion, scan your PC and let us know if it detects anything? Use Malwarebytes and Kaspersky you can use the trial to fully scan your PC.
4723  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Electrum and windows not seeing coldcard on: November 24, 2021, 04:31:27 PM
Coldcard will not appear in your computer without the pin if you type and open your coldcard with pin code it should show up in your PC or device manager.

If it doesn't detect there is a connection issue between your coldcard wallet to PC you must check the MicroUSB cable and the MicroUSB port. You can try to clean it isopropyl alcohol/ petrol or thinner and maybe the MicroUSB port is full of dirt.

If it still doesn't work then your MicroUSB port needs to be replaced with a new one so you will need to hire someone to replace it for you or do it with yourself.

Another option is to use it as an airgapped just like the above said so you will need to generate a wallet directly in your coldcard you can find it under Advanced>MicroSD Card>Export Wallet>Electrum Wallet it should generate a skeleton file or wallet.json file that you can import to Electrum. The guide is already on NeuroticFish video above
4724  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17+ (70 TH/s) - Hashboard 3 Only Find 10 ASIC on: November 24, 2021, 03:27:48 PM
You almost did all basic thing but have you tried to run only one hashboard I mean keep the chain 2 running and disconnect the other two hashboard and test if it still detects only 10 ASICs.

Unfortunately, I don't have any skill on electronic thing or soldering.

If you don't have skills your best option is to bring them to the professional technician about ASIC hashboard ZeusBTC is one of the known who can repair these boards and they have lots of repair centers where you can send them but the problem is they don't have a center in Indonesia.
But if you still want you can check the list of their repair centers here https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/

Another option is to buy a replacement hashboard you can directly buy it on Bitmain or buy on ZeusBTC.
4725  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance.com allow buying fiat on p2p & have the fiat sent to someone else? on: November 23, 2021, 11:46:59 PM
Is it really adding another payment method? I thought it was me > p2 seller > me. Not me > p2 seller > Binance > me. Meaning the seller is the one who is sending the money from their account to the account I give them. It's not Binance that's sending me the money from their account.

How do you think you give your account then? Adding a payment method is where you will receive the amount you exchange from the seller.

You will still need to add a payment method in order for the seller to send the amount you exchange to the payment method that you add in your P2P account without adding it you won't be able to exchange anything from Binance P2P.

You just didn't understand how Binance P2P works but if you already have an account on Binance check it there and I'm sure you will still need to add a payment method where you will receive the money you can add the payment method it could be a bank account or any other payment methods available in your country. You can also try to add the payment method of your friend's bank account but I do not know if it will work because based on my experience on Binance P2P they don't allow me to add other payment method or bank account that doesn't have the same name if what name you registered on Binance you must use an account with the same info or name when adding a payment method.
4726  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How do I recover ssh server from bitmain S11 miner? on: November 23, 2021, 11:18:37 PM
All I see on the logs you have are related to power it seems that your problem is your PSU. I don't have much knowledge about this miner because the logs are different compared to other Antminer machines.

Why not try to run your miner with one hashboard or do one by one test you can follow the guide from this link below
- https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/226142788-Test-hash-board-one-by-one

Maybe your PSU is not giving enough power that is why your miner is not running properly if you could test them one by one and all are running properly then your PSU is the culprit. Also, don't forget to test mine on another pool.

How did you flash your miner through an SD card? Did you extract firmware that you download from bitmain?
There is two SD card firmware for s11 7007 and 7010 you must download a specific firmware for your miner then extract and put all extracted file to the SD card.
If it was successfully flashed with an SD card you should notice some changes on the firmware version under the miner dashboard but if the SSH still doesn't open then try to hard reset the unit by holding the IPreport/Reset button for 10 to 15 seconds then release.

Why not read the wiki instead?
Here's the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin and this https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin

Or go directly on the Bitcoin wiki here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page

You can also watch videos about Bitcoin which are recommended for newbies to understand how bitcoin works.

4728  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit miner wholesalers? Bitmain and Canaan on: November 23, 2021, 01:47:23 PM
If you want to be an ASIC reseller make sure that you can be trusted. Buying ASIC machines on unverified resellers and distributor are risky so if you are buying on Alibaba and Aliexpress those are 3rd party reseller but the manufacturer said that they don't have any verified reseller on Alibaba and Aliexpress except to Newegg.

So I suggest you always buy ASIC machines directly from manufacturers and verified distributors. You can find the list of manufacturers and distributors from this link below
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5045732.0

Or try to contact offordscot if you want help to find an ASIC machine that you can resell.
4729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I promise you, this technical problem is going to be a very interesting case.... on: November 23, 2021, 01:15:51 PM
he tried it all using Iancolemans tool.

Why not try to tell him to connect his ledger to Electrum and follow Lucius's suggestion above(It seems it doesn't work to you).
Or get the master public key of that wallet and use a tool called xPub analyzer you can find it here https://blockpath.com/wallets/new?action=appxpub
It could scan all possible paths and find the used addresses.

Another option is the tool from Ledger they have their own xPub scanner created a few months ago and this should be the tool you must use if you want to recover your wallet.
Here's the link:

Just edited the link I forgot to put the link of ledger xPub scanner.

4731  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How do I recover ssh server from bitmain S11 miner? on: November 22, 2021, 11:47:25 PM
Are you trying to promote these websites?
Actually never heard of these websites and I do not recommend using firmware from that source it could be a virus.

Maybe your miner SD card reader doesn't work properly if you can disassemble the unit check the control board then check the terminal of the SD card maybe it has some rust and corrosion clean them with petrol or isopropyl alcohol. Then try to flash it again through an SD card and use firmware only from Bitmain
4732  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance.com allow buying fiat on p2p & have the fiat sent to someone else? on: November 22, 2021, 11:11:29 PM
Why not tell your friend to make a Binance account so that you can directly send BTC to him and exchange it into fiat through P2P?

Adding another payment method to your Binance account should be the same name as what you use in your Binance account. So you can't able to use other's bank account to exchange crypto to FIAT.
4733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic trading strategy for newbie to make a profit on: November 21, 2021, 07:33:35 PM
The strategy is always mentioned here the basic thing is to buy low and sell high there's nothing more and always be basic trading if you want to make a profit.
But there are people who don't understand or don't know how to apply it and they don't know when to buy or sell.

For that, you will need to learn about FA and TA to know when is the right to buy and sell your crypto.  There is a guide that I know will help you from Basic to Advanced trading and I have already shared it here many times. Here's the link below

All tools are there free and paid. After you learn from TA and FA make sure to test your skills first with a trading simulator to check if your strategy works. You can find all free trading simulator on the same link above.

4734  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon Log : BOOTBY[0x0.11000000] What does it mean? on: November 21, 2021, 05:13:58 PM
So it's a pro version?
Ver[1166Pro-81-21072802_4ec6bb0_211fc46]

This one shows abnormal ECHU[131073 0 0] the first board seems not detecting properly

and this one

Code:
PVT_T0[-273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273 -273]

Shows abnormal negative temps for all chips and POWS[0] power supply seems normal but HASHS[1 0 0] it shows that the first hashboard is bad.

So your first hashboard is failing but I would like to suggest you check the first hashboard first replacing the cable or switching them to another hashboard connected to the same unit.
If the logs show the same logs again then your first hashboard needs to be replaced.
4735  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How do I recover ssh server from bitmain S11 miner? on: November 21, 2021, 04:20:10 PM
If you flashed it with the latest bitmain s11 firmware then your miner is SSH disabled if you read the description of the firmware from Bitmain you should see SSH closed for this unit.

Anyway, about your problem why not share with us the kernel logs and let us analyze them for you if what is the issue of your unit.

If you want to enable the SSH again there is a way to open it again just flash it through an SD card the firmware is already from Bitmain but if you don't know where then use the link below.

4736  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 not hashing after replacing fan. Fault light solid on. on: November 20, 2021, 06:52:37 PM
Look at this FAN PWM: 0
There is no fan signal it means the fan you replaced is defective. Do you have another fan to replace?

If you don't have you can try to check the wire

black = ground
red = input voltage
Yellow =  Signal Speed
Blue = Signal PWM

The blue wire must be your FAN PWM check the wire if it has a connection from the fan to the control board. Or maybe you plug it incorrectly?
4737  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1246 Stopped Hashin on: November 20, 2021, 06:37:18 PM
Thanks for the reply, just to confirm, if the fans are working,, it still could be a PSU issue?

Fans are running fine
Code:
Fan1[4815] Fan2[4791] Fan3[4818] Fan4[4799]

It's a common issue if you see - on PVT and look at Vo[1] PS[16 1201 4 2 0 1324 53]  the first item is 16 it means the control board detected power failure or short circuit.
Another thing that I noticed is there is an extra item on that part which is the 53 it should only be 6 items on that part according to log description from Canaan.

I suggest you contact Canaan support and request for the new firmware to test if it's just a firmware issue.
Also, try to replug all cables from the power supply to the control board. Then test it again.
4738  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I got error after rebooting my Mac on: November 19, 2021, 11:59:37 PM
hi. thanks for ur reply. i compared it with ordinary successful open log. error started from that. also error message said to reindex as ur suggestion. will i redownload the whole blockchain if i reindex...??

I think if your wallet is set to pruned mode and you use -reindex it will only download the latest blockchain and delete old blockchain you recently downloaded.

I don't know what would be the outcome after you use the command above but better add prune=(N) at bitcoin.conf file so that it won't download the whole blockchain.
4739  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I got error after rebooting my Mac on: November 19, 2021, 11:33:14 PM
Can you post the whole debug.log here and don't forget to put it inside the "insert code tag" with icon #.

I think the reason why you get this error it's because you have corrupted blockchains.
I'd like to suggest is to try manually reindexing the wallet through the terminal.

Use this command below

Code:
/Applications/Bitcoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/Bitcoin-Qt -reindex

Let see if it will work.
4740  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Does anyone have expereince with the Cheetah F3 on: November 18, 2021, 11:28:24 PM
What do you plan why you are looking for these miners?
Do you have this miner and looking for a way to flash it?

This miner is not common and only a few people have this miner. Why not try to go on cheetah-miner.com it seems that is their official website.
Or if you are looking for the firmware to flash this miner they have a firmware here https://www.cheetah-miner.com/Pc/#/download
