4721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 06, 2020, 07:12:13 AM
I don't think the world epidemic happening today will have something to do with the market—it's just that I think this happen all the time and it's not yet the right time for the bullish market. No matter how I think about it even if there's a virus or not the market will always be like this. Nothing is permanent because it is so volatile due to the fact that it is an open market.
We see that there's no interconnection to bitcoin and the world happenings. But sometimes it's making me think that isn't that just a coincidence if we're seeing the same movement if the entire economy is facing a downtrend then crypto is also going the same way.

We don't know when this pandemic will ever be stopped but we're all hopeful that this must end asap.

Yes, nothing is permanent so this virus will be stopped in no time.
4722  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is AMFEIX a Huge Scam? on: March 06, 2020, 06:33:51 AM
I wouldn't trust them.

How they can sustain the returns to their investors? more than 100% a year is hard to maintain. Even the banks and other legitimate investments cannot provide such a percentage of returns.
4723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need of the hour on: March 05, 2020, 11:24:25 PM
They just won't stop. They keep on replacing and re-innovating the existing projects which they think lacks of something which they ends up creating a new one and adding to the massive number of altcoins in the circulation.

It's not anymore valid to see such new projects because we have existing ones. We need to reduce them as much as possible and determine what are the useful projects which we can apply with real use cases.

Yes instead of launching new projects which is just an updated version of existing projects the developers needs to work on existing projects and upgrade the same projects because it doesn't make sense to launch a new project every time they need new technology or missing link. Already investors and users have stopped believing in new projects as they think it's a scam by default due to past experience. I think either the developers need to upgrade the project or else the come up with a new project based on the technology which is unique and different from the existing ones.
It's no longer valid for investors to look out for the new projects because they're all the same. No new solutions, no new offers and just plain project that was made even before.

The ideas that are coming are the same so there's really no need for investors to watch for the upcoming ones. It's hard to restore the faith of the investors if many of them were frustrated and lost money due to this.
4724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VPNs using Blockchain Technology on: March 05, 2020, 10:45:31 PM
I still can't understand why many keep bringing up TOR network when it comes to anonymity, every time I try using TOR my location is easily leaked compare to other VPN services like IPSEC and OVPN, as for blockchain no idea
When I've tried to access TOR using Brave Browser, my computer notified me that there's a Trojan and that made me worried about it. did a few search and saw that I'm not the only person that experienced it. But I have cleaned it already.

So I think the idea of VPN with blockchain technology, that looks good after reading the thoughts of Abiky. I don't think it's still early, people are becoming conservative with their privacy these days so it's a good topic to discuss.
4725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex Global Announces Improvements and Exciting Upgrades for March 9th! on: March 05, 2020, 10:10:48 PM
They have to compete and keep on improving. The competition for exchanges are becoming tough and traders seem to become loyal with the chosen exchange that they have. If the service is very good and convenient, we don't have to go to another exchange and that's why we're staying.

Before Bittrex is at the peak of its popularity but I don't think they are now. These are the steps that they must conduct to retain the customers that's gone from their platform.
4726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coronavirus Forces the Hand of Central Bankers: A Boon for Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2020, 09:28:51 PM
The two connections about the virus and the month of April to be the best month for us, I don't see as well the connection of those to the price of bitcoin. Well, if it's just the month of connection many will say the least that it's December to be the best based from the experience of most but still that doesn't have any connection.

Threads about corona relation to bitcoin price, it's just absurd.
4727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about halving on: March 05, 2020, 08:56:42 PM
You are right.

Just like with Litecoin, I believed at first that it will make the price higher but after that almost nothing happened. But for bitcoin, this is a different coin and much better than the said altcoin because it's the most popular and well-invested cryptocurrency in the market.

But with what you have said to your friend, you just said the right words.
4728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Bitcoin Legal in South Korea! on: March 05, 2020, 08:17:59 PM
Question is When China?
The ICO's has been stopped by them during the entire bull run but I don't think they have ever banned bitcoin. Huge mining facilities are coming from that country so it has been a good country for bitcoin.

Was it illegal before? I don't understand, I thought south Korea are one of the crypto friendly country high rate of crypto supporters,
I'm also thinking the same question because we've been hearing good and bad news from them about cryptocurrency. The bad news is about the taxation and the exchange hacks.
4729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China has suspended research and launches for electronic currency digital paymen on: March 04, 2020, 06:33:15 AM
What's the latest news? first quarter is about to end. We're on the beginning of March but days are passing by very quick so that announcement has been mentioned will be announced by this month.

I guess almost everything which is very important that's being done on China is being halted. My country is still good and the health department is doing the best that they can to avoid or at least reduce the cases.
4730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asking Investment advice? on: March 04, 2020, 05:20:34 AM
I agree that you should always depend to yourself but it's not that bad to get some advice from other experienced people. This is applicable for newbies that are totally out of knowledge of what to invest with.

But on their part, they also need to be careful with whom they are asking. They may not know that the people they are talking with is just shilling the portfolio that he has so it's always together with diligent research so that you won't be fooled around by anyone who is giving advise. Extract the useful and ignore the unuseful advises.
4731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Could Be The Key To World Peace on: March 04, 2020, 04:55:52 AM
I like his idea about the protest. Instead of people going to protest, they can easily give their thoughts and idea that the government should give back what the people deserve.

And through buying bitcoin, it's like that because bitcoin is decentralized and it's more of the power of the people who have it. Because, we are the ones who are determining the greater value of bitcoin and they don't have authority to control it but they all have the means to regulate businesses that uses bitcoin.
4732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could be the court's ruling on crypto banking BAN ? on: March 04, 2020, 04:03:32 AM
Good luck and hoping for the positive result of this hearing.

Keep us updated with the possible outcome of this court hearing. We're all hoping for the best thing about crypto there in India.
4733  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto eSports betting on: March 04, 2020, 02:58:02 AM

Good point about the players interaction within the game, which is 100% pure Blockchain technology in the usage of the players.
Not to mention that each player's stats, games, win, training and even their diet - is recorded and can be used by sponsors and marketers, to support and invest in these groups.
When placing bets on Bitcoin eSports, just like any other sports betting, you SHOULD use this information which is of course available and accessible.
It is a good guide for those who wants to try out esports betting and, materials like this is a good start for those want to go deeper about specific games that they'll focus.

It's easier these days because we have the resources that we need whether you'll be in esports or you just want to focus with esports gambling. People who love games can easily adapt the changes and get sources for every match that they'll bet and interact.
4734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need of the hour on: March 04, 2020, 01:25:22 AM
There are thousands of altcoins and if you can find dozens of altcoins unerr every segment let it be a pyment or wallet, green energy, asset backed but what is the need of the hour? What's the technology which we are longing for when it comes to altcoin? Because have duplicates of existing technologies will kill altcoin so we need a better altcoin based on current circumstances and future. Kindly share your thoughts about the kind of technology which we need.

4736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 03, 2020, 12:48:56 PM
NBA games are very unpredictable now, Rockets which are playing a pretty impressive games lose against the Knicks which is a bad team.

I can't believe it, they are beating good teams but they lose in a bad team, was it due to a fatigue or something? I notice Harden was too reliant in his 3 point shooting but he has a poor percentage made in this game.
This happens usually.

We tend to believe that a team is superior than the other one but at the end sometimes unexpected things happen. So whenever you're betting with games like this, always think about of all possibility and outside the box that situations like this might come.

Or in short, bet against the public, in gambling terms that is very effective and the game between the Rockets and Knicks, the money was on the Rockets since they have been winning with huge margin in weaker teams. This site - https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/public-betting is useful to know which team is a public bet.
I will also take it with a grain of salt.

Sometimes that strategy works but sometimes it's not. It works for others but it may not work for you and for me. Thanks for sharing that link, I'll go over it.
4737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VSYS + BitHumb = Moon? on: March 03, 2020, 11:50:43 AM
I'd be careful with those indications and factors that you are considering.

With the prices go up, it's a very known thing what comes next after that. But if you really want to trade, buy and chase the profits because of the current excitement and factor that you consider, think of it first.

The esports community is growing faster than more than we expect, In the Philippines, a certain school is planning to make esports as a college degree. source Awesome right?
This can make the esports community greater than as of now and some gambling sites more on booking sites can possibly open a new betting section which is for esports. Esports is evolving fast and games are becoming great, New concept of games and many tournaments are showing up. I am expecting that more esports betting sites will be born soon because of the adaptation of people in the esports community.
I think that course is an answer to the growing industry to support roles and jobs that are open to sustain the needs of the industry. It is evolving past and what's good with these gaming companies, they are giving back to their players so it's a win win thing for them.

And for the esports bookies, it's convincing that they should include these games. This year and the next years to come is an eye opener that everyone should look into it.

Yeah the guy has been red flagged already.

But if you want to do more of it, post this on Service Discussion (Altcoins) just to warn others to avoid the projects that he's managing.
