If there is any exchange running from India then they should get registered with physical address and proofs but if you are using an unknown exchange then its your own responsibility to save yourself and I will say these kind of noobs deserves to get scammed then only they will realize how to be safe in this internet world.

I would just say that even if there are no rules and regulations for crypto in India yet, it is the police's duty to serve the Indian citizens and help them wherever they can.
If people are getting scammed, it is the police's duty to help them identify the scammers and get the victim's money back.
Although police don't do the needful these days it is still their duty to help the victims from online fraud.
Bitconnect had their office in India in Gujarat and yet they scammed so many Indian citizens as well.
So whether or not the company has offices in India or not, if an Indian citizen is getting scammed online then it comes under the jurisdiction of the Indian police to help them.
But practically its not possible to find Mr.Unknown so what all they will do is going to take a complaint and let it to be in pending forever.

Yes its comes under jurisdiction but as an individual we have common sense of what should do and don't when it comes to online investments.
Yes you are absolutely correct. This is why I mentioned that police don't do the needful these days.
They are just there for name sake (not all but most of them).
It is our duty as well to become more aware of what's happening around us and evolve ourselves so that we don't become one of such victims.
4722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 0.28 bitcoin to be in the 1% of richest bitcoin holder on: February 23, 2020, 03:38:29 AM
From the discussion and comments from other users all I can say is the numbers are no guaranteed to be statistically accurate and are just a speculation.
I think there are more number of factors that would be taken into consideration in future when the top 1% will be calculated.
So let's just leave it to the future and not make any sort of predictions right now since it will just be a waste of time for nothing can be predicted accurately.
4723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: February 22, 2020, 04:55:49 PM
You can include ways on how to earn from bitcoin i.e., mining, trading, staking etc... as some of the methods on how users can earn from crypto.
You can also take mining separately and make it as a game where users are in a simulation, mining transactions and earning money.
4724  Local / India / Re: Cyptocurrency not banned in India on: February 22, 2020, 04:13:29 PM
There are so many new exchanges and do you know where they live or located? Who is responsible if they closed their doors?
In Blockchain people are hided with different names emails even most are not using Gmail to prevent from Police case.

If there is any exchange running from India then they should get registered with physical address and proofs but if you are using an unknown exchange then its your own responsibility to save yourself and I will say these kind of noobs deserves to get scammed then only they will realize how to be safe in this internet world.

4726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Regulation really means? on: February 20, 2020, 02:44:59 PM
Regulation by definition itself means that a set of rules are being applied on something.
It can be taken in a positive as well as negative way. For some regulation means that the government is restricting us and applying limitations on something.
For some regulation means that the thing is approved by the government and hence is under government influence which acts like kind of a protection/authorized entity.
It all depends on how the country takes the regulation.
4727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE CEO goes on CNN , attacks Bitcoin on: February 19, 2020, 02:46:37 PM
They give this guy 21 mins of airtime, and he basically says that China "controls" the Bitcoin blockchain. Some other gems in there too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ag6kxco4kk

Look look who's talking about controlling the coin  Grin .
Ripple has been releasing new coins out of thin air for a long time now. This basically proves they are the ones who are controlling their platform.
Bitcoin is decentralized with limited supply and hence, it's way better than XRP.
4728  Local / India / Re: Play Quiz and Win BTC on: February 19, 2020, 02:21:22 PM
It would be nice if there was an exam that we could win merit instead of btc Smiley
I congratulate you on your initiative. Thank you
Merits are to be "earned" by making constructive posts on the forum which contributes in helping the people.
This is why merits were invented in the first place. You can easily get merits if you make helpful posts in the Indian board.
Just be straight to the point and make your posts constructive and you will get merits for sure.
4729  Local / India / Re: [ANN] GREAT INDIAN RAFFLES - Game On until bitcoin in escrow lasts!!! on: February 19, 2020, 07:07:14 AM
Reserved for updating future ideas or something similar.

If anyone have any other interesting thoughts and ideas which could encourage the posters in better way, do share them here.
I have an idea for new Indian members joining the community to make money, fame as well as receiving merits by contributing to the forum.
The most helpful post of the month will receive a small BTC reward.
Merits are obvious since the post itself would be 'most helpful'.
Lets keep this limited upto Member rank or Full member rank since members above that are already expected to make genuine constructive posts.
We can keep it as a monthly or once in 2 weeks sort of thing.

4731  Local / India / Re: Zebpay: New policies, new management, and new beginning? on: February 19, 2020, 06:10:03 AM
Zebpay was giving great service to all Indians crypto investors in the past with best charges for converting our crypto currencies to Indian rupees but after crypto business goes shutdown due to regulate issues.

Now there are best crypto p2p exchange platforms like wazirx,  giving good service with decent charges but now zebpay come back with new management team, maybe they have to give good offers to get back customers so they should charge decent fee for their services.
Wazirx is closed in India long time ago and the owner who tweets everyday for Bitcoin regulation. In the past I heard that wazirx will join with Binance.
It all depends upon the customers whether they will go with zebpay or not, but sure they will use Zebpay at the moment.
1. WazirX is still functional and I have been using it on a regular basis.

2. Zebapy is making a comeback but it's not that big a deal because they have not mentioned about Crypto to fiat trading anywhere.
They just mentioned about Crypto to Crypto trading which is not so big deal.

3. They will be charging a nominal fee and that too for those wallets which are dormant throughout the month.
Even if you do one trade for the whole month then you won't be charged.
4732  Local / India / Play Quiz and Win BTC on: February 19, 2020, 05:57:01 AM
I am going to organize a game (quiz) soon where the users will have to answer all the questions and the one who answers all the questions correctly will win some BTC as a reward. Questions will be related to bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, blockchain, exchanges etc... and the first two people who answers all the questions correctly will get the prize.
This is being done to increase the board activity and bring in more members to the Indian board. Anybody can take part in the game.

Reward : 0.0005 BTC each
Quiz will be released soon (probably on Sunday)

People can vouch in to put more ideas and reward prize(I think 0.0005 should be sufficient as a start since the quiz won't be so difficult).

Note: People should play the quiz not only to get the reward but also to test their knowledge on crypto.
Encourage each other to play the quiz and lets have some fun time in here.

4733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi think that quantum computers will exist? on: February 18, 2020, 03:30:19 PM
Satoshi has mined the most coins.
In 2010 they were talking about lost coins and Satoshi said

Quote
Think of it as a donation to everyone.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198.0

1. He thought the coins are lost forever and we have a lot of 'shalecoins' https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134441.0 and they will become active one day

or

2. Satoshi created the greatest prize competition and the privatekeys are somehow within the blockchain. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5150688.0

1. Yes, with quantum computers they would become active. Did Satoshi think that quantum computers will exist?

I think we should know what is the quantum computers first? And I think this video is the most understanable information way.

https://www.ted.com/talks/shohini_ghose_quantum_computing_explained_in_10_minutes?utm_campaign=tedspread&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=tedcomshare

If you know what is the quantum computer now. Then you may understand it is not possible to know this things 10 years before.
I saw the whole video and now I have a doubt. The host said that quantum computer can be used to create private keys.
If that's possible then I believe quantum computers can also be used to hack the private keys of other users.
This will make the bitcoin network very vulnerable and hence will break the network eventually by creating a panic in the market.
4734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mail Bombing in exchange of Bitcoin on: February 18, 2020, 02:54:36 PM
I see what's happening here. Nothing has changed but the ransom.
Earlier, people used to do the same kind of crimes and ask for cash and gold and other luxuries and now it's bitcoin.
Criminals have got smart to ask for bitcoin as ransom since they know it's hard to track.
It's the duty of the cops to investigate the crime and look for the criminal. Paying the ransom will just invite other criminals to do the same.
4735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take the latest Crypto Quiz and find out if you are the next Satoshi Nakamoto! on: February 18, 2020, 07:22:27 AM
Just took the quiz. Started with Intermediate to see what level of technical questions it has.
The intermediate level seems like beginners to me  Grin.
Took the Expert level later which impressed me. I didn't know the answers for 4 questions.
It was fun and hence the merit. Enjoy !
4736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright: A Very Wrong Person on: February 18, 2020, 07:11:11 AM
we should not even think about him anymore since the whole crypto community recognize Craig Fucking Wright as Faketoshi.
He has been proven wrong so many times that people don't even listen to him anymore.
Let the guy enjoy in his own world. Besides that, he is giving us more things to laugh on him  Grin
4737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: February 16, 2020, 02:41:26 PM
Obviously we should not ignore the profits in Satoshi. People usually don't pay attention on their Satoshi profits because they are overwhelmed with their fiat profits.
While fiat profits are more than enough, Satoshi profits are actually the one that matters the most and especially in the long run.
I always pay attention on how much Satoshis I am gaining or losing. Also, it's not always bad to lose Satoshis.
Sometimes we should let go the small Satoshi loses and be happy with fiat profits  Smiley
4738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC/USD trading without Bank Account on: February 16, 2020, 02:34:29 PM
If you already have some bitcoins then you can just open any exchange which has BTC/USDT pair and deposit bitcoins in it and then trade BTC/USDT.
If you don't have any bitcoins then you can deal with some local seller for cash and get some bitcoins.
Eventually you will have to get bitcoins from somewhere and then trade USDT with it in any exchange.
4739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading app? on: February 16, 2020, 02:17:29 PM
I usually don't use mobile apps for trading since desktop provides a larger screen and more convenience.
I use trading view on desktop and the regular exchanges like binance etc..
On mobile I use binance and WazirX which are exchanges. I don't need separate apps on mobile to trade.
4740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I was offered to EXCLUSIVE TRADING BOT - whats that? on: February 16, 2020, 01:55:36 PM
Hi guys,
i was offered to trade through this platform.
I have no intention to do so, but would like to check credibility of the person.
Whats your opinion on this platform? And also any others? Are out there legit platforms?
I only get it on the phone via Telegraf. Nothing about found on the internet.
Fake, scam, fraud?
Never go for these bud. Most times, people on telegram offer fake services and get money from you and then scam you.
Secondly, trading bots are nothing but automated scripts which performs the trade for you.
There is no guarantee that it will always generate profits for you. So in my opinion it's a waste of time and money investing in trading bots.
