He was also on Fox this morning chiding Hillary for her role in Benghazi, military options in Iraq, the past arming of radical Islam and if there were to be boots on the ground in Iraq - the 1st 10k should be Iraqis, the next 10k should be Saudis (calls them out for supporting radical Islam) and also from Turkey. The opening part of Hillary addressing an Iowa drone crowd is super annoying.

Here's a short clip of Rand on CBS this morning talking about ISIS action, foreign aid and growing the GOP. Keep in mind, this is a network station that is a 'free' channel that most of the peasants get and view their news on. Much different than, say, Fox or MSNBC.

And the annoying:

Some people aren't sure as to whether Huckabee is running but Rand does have a solid operation in place in IA so there's plenty of room to build. As usual, the social conservative block is rearing it's ugly head in Huck's % here and are the biggest bunch of useful idiots on the right. I typically refer to them as the puritans as they usually vote along faith lines w/o regards to economics as the leading issue.

4745  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Clinton insiders screened Benghazi documents before ARB probe, official says on: September 15, 2014, 06:05:13 PM
The Clinton name has long been synonymous with corruption. There's also plenty of dead bodies that lay in their wake but they have such a powerful operation that most independent lefties in the beltway won't step on their toes for fear of losing status or worse. This latest story does not surprise me one bit. In fact and in hindsight, I almost expected something like this to happen and unusual if it didn't. And, the average boob keeps going along with their "I'm ready for Hillary" bumper stickers. The lack of critical thinking skills is shocking in this nation.
4746  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-09-11] Amazing UK news channel report on Bank of England's Bitcoin Paper. on: September 15, 2014, 05:47:24 PM
http://www.channel4.com/news/bitcoin-bank-of-england-super-rich-excluded-poor-internet-currency

This is fantastic stuff, best and most positive news coverage of bitcoin i've seen todate.

That is not necessarily a good thing, and bad news is not necessarily a bad thing, either.

Why is this not a good thing? It's positive reinforcement on mainstream media. Channel 4 news is watched by quite a lot of people in the UK and this was pretty positive and unbiased coverage.

It's the basics of the rules of power. Praise your enemy while you learn enough about them to destroy them. Know thy enemy. I won't even begin talking about the concept of 'killing them with praise'. But then again, you obviously think that all positive news coverage is a good thing. I urge you to look further into the matter.
Regardless of what the bank's motives are, it's not very often that a country's main news stations airs a puff piece on BTC. This is exactly what happened in China to spark interest last summer. It's one thing for one of us to preach the gospel of BTC to our colleagues but when they see if featured on a trusted tv or radio show they really internalize it and it becomes favorable in their minds.
4747  Other / Politics & Society / Seattle Woman Charged With Sex Attack On Sleeping Man on: September 14, 2014, 05:59:58 PM

SEPTEMBER 12--A Seattle woman has been charged with raping a man who told cops he awoke in his bed to find his attacker sexually assaulting him while she had his hands pinned down, according to a police report.

Chantae Gilman, 26, was charged this week in connection with the alleged June 2013 attack inside the 31-year-old victim’s Seattle apartment. Gilman has prior felony convictions for attempted robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle, as well as several misdemeanor convictions, according to court records.

As detailed in a probable cause affidavit prepared by a Seattle Police Department detective, the victim told cops that while he did not know Gilman, she was an acquaintance of another man who lives in his duplex. He described Gilman as “a drug user in the area.”

The man said that on the night of the attack he attended a birthday party for the neighbor whom Gilman knows. “Once arriving home he fell asleep on his bed,” Detective Roger Ishimitsu reported. “Victim slept very hard due to a long day.”

4748  Other / Politics & Society / North Korea Jails US Citizen to 6 Yrs Hard Labor on: September 14, 2014, 05:57:05 PM

North Korea's Supreme Court on Sunday sentenced US citizen Matthew Miller to six years' hard labour for "hostile" acts, two weeks after he and two other detained Americans had pleaded for help from Washington.

Miller becomes the second American serving a hard labour prison term in the North amid accusations that Pyongyang is using them to extract political concessions from Washington.

The 24-year-old was arrested in April after he allegedly ripped up his visa at immigration and demanded asylum.

"He committed acts hostile to the (North) while entering the territory of the (North) under the guise of a tourist last April," the state-run KCNA news agency said in announcing Sunday's court ruling.

Pictures published by KCNA showed a sombre-looking Miller, dressed in a black polo neck and black trousers, sitting and standing in the courtroom dock, flanked by two uniformed guards.

A photo of the evidence table showed what appeared to be Miller's ripped-up visa, as well as his US passport, a tablet computer and a smartphone.

Sounds like some progressive retard as only someone like that would be fucked in the head enough to go to the DPRK border to demand asylum. I mean, are you fucking kidding me? Enjoy some real socialism, dickhead.

Ann Coulter is a top level witch. She's also a troll. This is what she does it's just her thing to stoke up controversy at any opportunity
Yep, she's like Sarah Palin in that she pops up from time to time to say something flamboyant in right wing extremist terms to get her name out and all the hoorah conservative men sucking from her tits. She's probably working on another book. People like her crave credibility and are totally out to build their brand.

Rand Paul Meets With Sir Richard Branson (BTC) to Discuss War on Drugs

Quote
There is also positive movement in the corridors of power here in the US. This morning in Washington we had a highly productive meeting with Senator Rand Paul, who has been taking huge steps forward in building bipartisan support for sensible, humane drug policies. Later, we enjoyed a livestreamed debate on why it is Time to Rethink Global Drug Policy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Online, masses of people have been getting in touch to pledge their support.

The Secret to Rand Paul’s Foreign Policy: His Father
If you want a real insight into how Rand Paul truly views the world, check out his dad’s record in Congress during the Cold War.

W. James Antle III

Rand Paul is struggling to demonstrate that a presidential candidate can be skeptical of military adventures while still being tough on foreign enemies when necessary. And so far, all he is getting for his trouble is charges of flip-flopping.

Is there any recent precedent for a reluctant but strong warrior in Republican politics? Paul has been citing Ronald Reagan, but there is another, and perhaps more surprising, model: Ron Paul, the Kentucky senator’s own father.

This may seem counterintuitive. While the elder Paul’s two Republican presidential campaigns put noninterventionism back on the political map, his rhetoric is often a textbook example of how not to sell such foreign-policy ideas to the wider GOP base.

Ron Paul’s first stints as a Republican congressman from Texas were during the 1970s and ‘80s, however. As a libertarian-leaning lawmaker, he frequently disagreed with his GOP colleagues on foreign policy back then too. But, unlike some more militant libertarian thinkers, Ron Paul never dismissed the threat of communism during the Cold War.

The CIA is usually behind the scenes laying the groundwork that the MIC war propaganda uses to fool the American people and specifically conservatives into believing what the man behind the curtain is selling. Notice how most of the news is about this and the talk of Obamacare and the southern border issue have fallen by the wayside? Middle class jobs returning? doubt it

4757  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-09-12] Tim Draper: Bitcoin’s Price Still Headed to $10k on: September 12, 2014, 06:32:47 PM
In 3 years 12.5 BTC will be produced every 10 minutes. At 10K each, that's $18,000,000 that the market needs to absorb everyday to maintain that price. I really can't see that personally.
In that amount of time there could be upwards of 15-20 million more wallets and once BTC is steadily hovering north of the 1 or 2 thousand dollar range, it's public attention factor will have already been solidified and the genie will be permanently out of the bottle. Smiley

Her character is about as fraudulent as her face is. Common names to describe her are stretched face or dragon lady. When she talks her eyes pop out like golf balls and everything she says in public is scripted or prepared and none of it is from the heart. She's the team captain for the deranged psychos on capital hill.
