4741  Economy / Reputation / Re: Spotted this guy selling his Hero account! on: June 24, 2020, 04:03:12 PM
The case is quite complicated to me. To be honest I strongly believe this account has placed for sell as per provided all evidence on the post/reply. But since telegram become heaven for scammers and its possible to edit image so red tag shouldn't leave right now IMO. This would be advantage for seller but who know the real story. The only possible to detect correctly by verify email address which will need moderators help. But since account sales isn't prohibited according to forum rules we can't expect help from moderators about this case. So it's better to leave neutral feedback which has left already by multiple DT members. I am trying to communicate seller on telegram from seller profile if really account placed for sell and for how much. But still haven't got any answer. I will update here if found anything else or reply from seller.
4742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake team - DIGITAL DOLLAR:THE DOLLAR OF THE FUTURE on: June 24, 2020, 03:43:43 PM
I'm not begging anything, I just asked, who asks not stray.  It is not a big deal but it certainly discouraged me to even try next time. I won't just even bother to spend the time  If I spot any scammer. What is wrong with helping the community and gaining something from it, merit literally doesn't cost you anything. Stop acting like you want to help community cuz you would not be here if not that signature you are wearing...
I did archive their website check again.
Don't try to be over smart here. I don't know how many scam report you have made here but I am not new here at all. You regret just you hadn't received merit for you signle scam report. Check my scam list how many report there and how many report has merited. If you visit my profile there is enough merits for Legendary rank and even I don't need a signle merit for rank up. But still I am reporting scams just for help community, not for merits. I didn't attacked you personally. You have asked the question why you didn't received merit. As a merit source I have expressed my opinion only. Yes, I am wearing paid signature because admin has been giving this opportunity. But is your signature space empty? Do you think I am a spammer? If so then visit my post history and report to moderators and they will handle. But I believe lots of your post probably will be deleted if someone try to report. But I don't have enough time nor that was my intention. If you want to help the community just do it selflessly, expecting return shouldn't called as a 'help' IMHO. But I strongly believe community will give a best return once a time who have been helping continuously to the community.
4743  Other / Meta / Re: Why does bitcointalk allows signatures? on: June 23, 2020, 12:40:10 PM
Why this question? Because you are unable to earn from it? I have remember you have sent me PM regarding earning way. I am posting your PM here since there nothing secret which would harm for you. I am forced to post because your post and PM likely conflicting each other.

I saw your profile picture. Do you make money of it? If I get the full member role can I earn too with this way?

Provide useful thread links, if you have any.
I can verify PM by reporting moderators if needed.

I am assuming you are talking about signature and avatar. Even you are talking about avatar particularly then still its annoying for some users. Anyway you can disable signature and avatars when you will become Hero/Legendary member including forum ads. So try to upgrade your account as soon as possible.

Edit,
And I have nothing to worry about that revelation. Yeah, I asked, because I was curious that you guys get paid of it. So?
Fine. You should know about so, you are looking for oppurtunity to join such as paid campaign since you are asking for links. On the other hand you are creating thread against such as advertising. Isn't conflicting?
4744  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake team - DIGITAL DOLLAR:THE DOLLAR OF THE FUTURE on: June 23, 2020, 12:15:14 PM
I noticed that all people get some merit for spotting scammer, what did I wrong?
You did wrong by asking this question. To be honest I was going to send some merits on your post so I had been reading deeply including replies. But unfortunately your above statement discouraged me to send merits on your post. You don't have right to ask this question and merit begging isn't allowed here. When someone will read this reply likely they will not send merit to your post as well. Your comments indicate that you are just seeking for merits, helping community isn't your goal.

Beside that your topic starting isn't too good. Even you didn't Archived thread link. So learn first from others how they made fake team accusation. Please drive your intention to right truck and help the community if you can. Don't expect merits for your every post, its fully depend on community who will send merits.
4745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 325 million new potential users on: June 23, 2020, 11:49:47 AM
If PayPal start using Bitcoin then there would be some positive and negative effect at the same time. The positive effect is people will be use bitcoin almost everywhere where PayPal accepted although their transaction fees would be high, but at least useable everywhere. But I believe negative effects would be more than positive effect. For example dispute, since it will be internal Marchant transaction PayPal to PayPal then obviously there will be dispute option according to their terms & conditions. So it's quite against of bitcoin native behaviour.

If incase this news become true then likely PayPal will act like Bitpay or any other centralized online wallet. So there will be more issue about verification, block account and so on. I haven't use PayPal although I had created long time ago because I don't like too much harrassment. But I heard they limit account, ban account and make some other issue. Anyway if its happen then somehow it would push bitcoin price for quite sometimes by creating FOMO. Let's see what will happen actually.
4746  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Listing accounts and private keys in a Folder WINDOWS10 on: June 22, 2020, 04:57:24 PM
Useless, Don't follow OP tricks

Saving password and personal credentials on a computer which is using online and connected on internet is totally useless. Everything would be revealed if your device become compromised somehow. So I always write my all personal credentials of account on my personal offline note book. This is hard copy and keep with me, I don't use any online device to save such as important things. So I will suggest write your personal credentials on your real life note book and keep it safe place. For security reason you may use multiple note book as well to make sure you are able to recover everything incase lost one of them.
4747  Other / Beginners & Help / Do not be deceived by sending PM. on: June 22, 2020, 04:37:15 PM
Long story in short. I believe some of you have read this story. I think it's quite important issue especially for newbies and this topic will serve as awareness.

I don't know how should I describe it since very long story. This type of scam story new for me. Its call triangle scam actually. Someone else on telegram would ask you send a btc address provided by him to a bitcointalk forum user in order to prove ownership. Don't do this, if someone ask something like that then write your own message like I am Coolcryptovator, I am talking on telegram with you and my telegram username is @Coolcryptovator. Simply sent someone else btc address to other bitcointalk user would led to cheat. Who know if that person who asked you he is dealing with other bitcointalk user and likely other user asked to scammer send btc address by forum PM to prove ownership? Perhaps he is using you to scam by sent his btc address. Hope you guys understand what I want to say.
4748  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam elmanchez on: June 22, 2020, 04:07:22 PM
Although the story was quite complicated to understand but I have read it multiple times. So what I understand someone had asked to @elmanchez for send btc address to OP bitcointalk profile. Since @Royse777 have verified OP claim and @elmanchez admitted that he has sent btc address to OP, so mistake happened by @elmanchez. Most likely scammer dealing with both of them (with OP & elmanchez).

@elmanchez, you shouldn't simply sent someone else bitcoin address to other user. You should write your own message like about what are you going to deal and how. You have no way to prove yourself innocent on this case. You are the one who is responsible for it.

Conclusion; My personal view on this case is @elmanchez have to pay somehow. Either he will ended up with negative feedback since there is no chances to prove innocent because telegram chat isn't enough to prove. Or he have to pay fund lost by OP due to sent PM.

I can understand OP & elmanchez both of them are victim, there is no other solution if @elmanchez unable to prove him innocent.
4749  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nydronia - fake team members! on: June 22, 2020, 03:07:49 PM
Supported flag against them and left negative feedback as well. I can't believe scammers are still using fake photo/AI genarated photos for raise fund which is quite unrealistic at the moments. Except stupid people should not fall into such as platforms. Any kind of excuse regarding fake team will led just ignorance. No team doesn't matter since investors will be well aware where they are going to invest. Fake team means they are cheating to their investors which would led to scam eventually.

Good job OP, keep it up.

I couldn't go out to shoot professional photo for the theme of the covid19.
Have Covid-19 attack in Mars also?  Wink
4750  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the Best Bitcoin wallet? on: June 21, 2020, 02:03:10 PM
Actually you aren't only asking to choose best online wallet but also you are risking your funds as well. Because to holding funds online wallet isn't suggested with any cost. Its prevent the main goal of bitcoin like financial freedom like they would ask KYC. There is a popular sentence, "Your private key, your Bitcoin" and fortunately any online or web wallet will never give you access of private keys. Anytime they would able to block your account. If really you want to be your own bank then you should choose a non-custodial wallet. Better option is you may buy Hardware wallet if you can afford. Otherwise I will suggest for SPV wallet like Electrum if you are unable to download full node for bitcoin core.

Whatever you choose wallet don't forget to write and save your seed to multiple place to recover your fund in case your if lost or damage your device.
4751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another bitcoin scams hit Canada on: June 21, 2020, 01:33:21 PM
Scam will never end but scammers choose bitcoin as a easy payment methods. This is advantage for scammers that no one will able to find out them and funds aren't reversible. But it doesn't mean bitcoin is related with such as scam. Anyone shouldn't recognise with such as phone calls or messages where asking to invest your bitcoin or real money. They will offer a very greedy plan, of course this kind of scam happening with fiat money as well. But fortunately bitcoin scams highlighting since this is virtual currency and there is very less chance to trap scammers. Just we have to be careful about such as scam and don't fall into scammers trap.
4752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading guides,books,articles whatever on: June 20, 2020, 03:15:00 PM
Exactly for what you are looking? Trading guidelines or how to trade? There is different between advice and tech how to trade. You will get thousands of advice if you search on Google but don't know how accurate they are. So here is my simple suggestion, search on YouTube if you don't know technically how to trade in your native language. For caution, don't apply their strategy since it's only to learn how to trade. Second thing read more and more before start trade. Some articles mentioned above where you would learn something (although I haven't tried it). Then start with very small capital before start with huge amount.

Remember make diposite what you could afford losses, trading isn't any investment platform where you will get ROI. So you might lose your total portfolio (most of part of your portfolio) during trading. If you lose continuously then your account might near ZERO. Choose only couple of reputed coins instead of make trading with lots of coins. Because you should know background of your pair very well in order to gain profits. Don't be greedy and trade with patience, learn to be happy with small profits. We aren't your financial advisor, so do your own diligence before take any decisions or hire a professional financial advisor. Because we will not be responsible for any kind of loss.
4753  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam Alert] Blochkchain Vault Ponzi scheme on: June 20, 2020, 10:01:39 AM
Any of their partnered exchange mentioned on the website aren't clickable. Means they aren't partner of any exchange. Totally fake information to attract innocent (greedy) people. Also their customer reviews seems fake to me, although I didn't deep investigate (which isn't necessary) most likely all customers images have collected from stock image. They aren't real customers and making us fool. Their ROI is enough to call them scam. Hope nobody will fall in their trap. Stay away guys don't be greedy.
4754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is another type of fiat money according to the New York Fed on: June 20, 2020, 09:17:04 AM
@OP, it's better to use quote to avoid future claim about plagiarism since most of part collected from article on your post. Although you used link bottom but didn't mention as a source. Anyway I can't see any valid explanation about this fiat claim. How bitcoin would a like fiat since there is huge volatility and its not accepted by any central government from any country. Perhaps it's a one kind of attack to bitcoin. First thing is fiat money issued by a government where bitcoin is created by a unknown person called satoshi nakamoto. So it doesn't fit to call fiat currency. You may see on wikipedia when we can call a currency as a fiat money.
4755  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Fake Bitcoin Transaction on: June 20, 2020, 08:53:11 AM
Short answer is not true & not available. I am not sure but assuming OP talking about double spent. But it's not fake really. There is few wallet that will allow you to make possible double spent. If a transaction made with lower fees then you may spent this unspent transaction with higher fees to new address before get confirmation on the blockchain. Means your previous transaction will be cancelled but it doesn't mean previous transaction wasn't fake in that case. Perhaps someone could make you fool by double spend if you aren't aware about it. We might give you more accurate answers if you share your video. Always wait for one confirmation at least before make any deal, so it wouldn't fake when confirmed on the blockchain. If you mean transaction on test net then its address type will be different and it will not show on the main chain. So overall there wouldn't be fake bitcoin transaction lately.
4756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your main goal... ? on: June 19, 2020, 04:12:39 PM
Often people search "how to earn free money" which is quite complicated IMO. Everyone want to earn some money from internet which is almost impossible if you are looking totally free. I have remembered a story long time ago in our country, there was a online survey and they have asked to participate on the survey in order to get mobile recharge (balance). So I go in deep to check what is that and eventually a message popped after complete survey and that is "Nothing is free on the world". So from there I have learnt it and never tried for free money. Either you should have best knowledge and time or you have to invest on some good platform (doesn't mean PONZI scheme). If you have good skill or knowledge then you have to spend time like you may work web development or design, then you may earn some money over internet. If you fund then you may start lending business even on the forum. So spending time on Airdrop or similar platform wouldn't give your cost of your time. Find some real earning source would be a wise decision. Besides that free earning method would led you to scam.
4757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner in this forum on: June 19, 2020, 08:03:25 AM
Welcome to the community. When I have seen any new user on the forum I expect he should be a good contributor in the future. Because we need future of this forum and today's newbies tomorrow will be Legendary. But. But it's sad to see that your intention to join on the forum just earning purpose. You have ZERO intention to learn and contribute yourself. Its because when I have visited your post history then discovered your second post of forum which had has made on Airdrop thread. You have joined Jun 18, 2020 and at the same day you apply for Airdrop reward. I am not saying it's bad but your timing is bad. You just joined this forum to create spam. Even you didn't read forum rules or some important thread although you mentioned on the OP. I am not insulting you but really it's not expected a well intentioned member which you are acting like. Your post quite innocent which isn't.

Hope you will realize importance of contribution rather than spam for airdrop only. There is lots of time remaing for earning. Try to learn before start earn because it's related each other.
4758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Map on: June 19, 2020, 07:43:30 AM
I don't know how they calculate it with USD from local country. It should calculate with native currency for each country. Anyway you are able to find native currency price for bitcoin. Just search on Google like we search BTC-USD price. Just replace your currency. For example you are from India and you want to check local price of bitcoin then you have to search BTC-INR, so you will find the live rate. Google provide this rate from coinbase exchange. So you can say its official price as well. This way you will able to find btc price for any country then you may convert it in USD.
4759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is More Popular Than Traditional Banks on: June 19, 2020, 07:14:18 AM
Not true, be honest here, can you live without banking system lately? If so it will be too complicated for you. It doesn't mean we don't love bitcoin, still bitcoin popular for us. I don't know if in the future bitcoin will accepted by worldwide and could become more popular than bank but there is lots of prevention to happen that. Probably it was a online survey and likely those peoples participated there  most of them are bitcoin lovers. It doesn't mean worldwide population love bitcoin. For me I can say even 2% of total population of my country's don't know about bitcoin but 100% population know about traditional banking system I believe. So I can't say bitcoin is more popular than traditional banking system in my country. And I believe same goes to worldwide population.
4760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable Coin Treasury keep minting coin why ? on: June 19, 2020, 07:03:18 AM
There is lack of transparency on tether limited. They have claimed USDT is backed by USD which is a false claim and they are failed to provide transparent audit report. But since there is hidden relation with tether limited & Bitfinex so peoples using it. Actually no one is questioning about unlimited print nor want to ask, because most of exchange using it and there is lots of trading pair. When a big move happen from tether treasury then we have seen its effect on bitcoin price. Most likely this kind of big move occurred to manipulate bitcoin or crypto-currency markets. That's why tether called as a controversial crypto-currency.
