4741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you bet on "Sports" games that you don't know? on: December 12, 2016, 04:52:32 PM
Bet on sports that we don't know is no different with dice games where we only rely or luck, and i think wise people wouldn't do that if they know better way to win by gambling with good strategy.

Clearly described the impact and similarity of betting on unknown sports or games. Even I was a person who just relied upon luck and involved into unknown games, but later on started to learn and completely focus upon the specific event with long time researched strategies.
4742  Economy / Speculation / Re: 778 resistance broken, 779 hit, time to fly!! on: December 12, 2016, 04:31:59 PM
The price of bitcoin is found to increase and decrease without being stable on a particular price. Now as expected price movement towards $800 has begun. I believe the price sustains and continues growing as we are getting near to the end of the year 2016. Every year end price increase happens to some extent.
4743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: December 12, 2016, 03:43:16 PM
Right now bitcoin price increase is getting continued for a long time. This gives every user an added profit. Bitcoin grows gradually, which describes that holding doesn't have any specific time. Everytime holding is effective.
4744  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper bitcoins. Is it worth it? on: December 11, 2016, 04:54:40 PM
Like gold bitcoin are not subject to risk of loss or getting theft so why would anybody like to store their bitcoin in banks vault?
Also there will be nothing that can stop banks from issuing more certificates than the actual amount of bitcoin they have in their wallets.

Better solution for offline transaction could be bitcoin paper wallet rather than those certificates. However your idea seems quite complicated and even harder to implement.

Paper bitcoin use looks to be a better option for common people to start using bitcoin similar to traditional currency, but accessing is possible only with the help of paper wallets. So I too think it's hard to implement right now as described by the above mate.
4745  Economy / Economics / Re: Italian Banks-Crash is Coming on: December 11, 2016, 04:01:30 PM
For this reason banks won't crash, because they'll have an alternate solution to overcome the issue. European union avoiding to support during the hard days is to make the situation worse in the economy of the country's growth.
4746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Collections will become more valueble when Bitcoin replace Fiat currencies on: December 11, 2016, 03:37:37 PM
Bitcoin replacing fiat is highly unlikely, because bitcoin with its potential has grown high in value but to that extent it hasn't reached common people. I believe people continue to use fiat forever. Coin collection gets importance when the predicted year of coin generation gets over
4747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: December 11, 2016, 01:23:10 PM
if poor countries set up big mining farms, they can make big profit from bitcoin

I can't see governments of poor countries jump into Bitcoin by setting up entire mining farms. It will be wealthy individuals in these countries, or investors from abroad that might get to set up mining farms if they find it to be cheaper than going for China to set up everything. If you consider that poor countries have a very poor power network, where power outages are a frequent occurrence, then it's not a very interesting option for them. Don't forget that a lot of these poor countries are not very Bitcoin friendly either. Another negative point that any serious investor is taking in mind.

Setting up mining farm is not only way to get bitcoin, there are other way such as setting up a freelancing sites that caters unemployed talented bachelors and give them an option to choose between local currency or bitcoin but charge employer with bitcoins.  This does not require a big fund but a good contacts which the government has.

That's a good plan to make a better living standard to the unemployed group through mining farms. These mining farms are quite expensive to set up, if planned to provide employment for a good number of technically skilled group of users. If governments authorises then even with government funding things can be made much better.
4748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices could leap to $2000 in 2017? on: December 10, 2016, 06:07:37 PM
I predict the price of bitcoin might be in the range of 1200 USD to 1500USD in 2017.  the price 2000USD  is too high. This will cause some economic system disrupted. but bitcoin will still be a priority choice for me.

Few countries have experienced some financial issues. On account of this big increase in users were found. I believe bitcoin is expected to be around the range of $1000 - $1200. Sudden increase to $1500 is not possible in this short period. If it happens too, it won't sustain similar to the gradual increase.
4749  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: December 10, 2016, 05:45:14 PM
Banks and banking system has been helping common people for a long with its various services. Banks were supposed to be a form of business which too earns from people investing into it. Now advancement is required for which banks too need to adopt the successful technology.
4750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin is one new step for sucess. on: December 10, 2016, 05:19:12 PM
The technology behind bitcoin seems to be a unique as well much advanced. In the coming years if blockchain rules the world it won't be a surprise. Several banks and other information solution provider and data management service providers were already started to adopt blockchain technology to be the best among their competitors.
4751  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: December 10, 2016, 04:39:04 PM
Until now, Bitcoin was very good investment for me.
I bought Bitcoin very cheap, and now its price is very high.
Of course, nobody can predict future, whether the price will rise or fall.
We should be smart enough and recognize the right moments to buy or sell Bitcoins. Smiley

Yeah from the beginning of bitcoin's existence it has been revolutionary and in a very short period due to its potential users started to give preference to it as a investment, though bitcoin price fluctuations can never be predicted exactly.
4752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: December 09, 2016, 04:10:26 AM
Well its easy to get referals, but its hard for them make deposits and start gambling with the same house, the way i see this being possible is changing side from player to owner of casino or dice, otherwise may try to refer others but its very hard to get sucess into it.
It is impossible to expect that you can earn bitcoin by your referrals. Players who can make a big deposit usually join the site when it early started. If you were their friend, it would be much easier to gain commission from them. Thus, i think you need to sweep away the idea of getting money from your referrals

Some people make a good profit with referrals. They post a strategy video on youtube, and who watches it and want to try, sign up on casino with their links.

I have already saw who offers money to people sign up with his referral link on casino. A little giveaway to start betting on casino and making some comission for the refer. But it won't work for everybody, "just one in a hundred" or something like that.
If he can make his own strategy on youtube to guide people, i think he will not need the commission. Because if his plan is good enough, he can earn money from the casino by his own hand. I have seen many of my friends who are experts in gambling, and they never try to invite anybody through their referral links. And they also do not want to show up his strategy to other people
That's true, even if he don't make video to teach other people his strategy, he can earn money using gambling because he is good enough to play gambling by his own.
well strategy works when the house still not aware of it but if someone created a video and share it and more players are using the same pattern then win i guess the house will review and make applicable ways to avoid losing from this strategy so theres no long term way just maybe needed to be satisfied with small winnings if you are lucky then quit while you still have some luck.
I don't think that the strategy will always be 100% effective to win in gambling, because in gambling for me there is no 100% effective strategy because for me most of the time gambling will always be more on luck.

nothing about gambling has ever been 100% there is always a percentage missing because of the unpredictable results of each bet. even with the best strategy and even with the best skill based gambling game you will always see good players bust out and lost their bets.
True, even professional player in gambling will lose, because not all gamblers or professional gamblers are perfect and manage their winnings. All of us, when we play gambling we can lose even the most professional gambler.

Professional gamblers too loss in gambling, but one can be perfect in gambling as well can earn certain amount regularly. For this the person should not have big expectations of profit in a single event. Playing based upon good research and strategy too gives win.
4753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: December 09, 2016, 03:57:26 AM
there's no such a thing as "too much money". people will always want more.
i dont have a statistic, but i'm pretty sure rich people gamble way more than poor people.

of course because they have enough money to gamble than the poor those rich people has nothing to worry about because they can just release another amount of money in order to place bet for second time and so for . and about those poor individuals some of them they do hesitate if they are going to gamble if only they can realize that the amount of money they are going to gamble can sustain their need for a singe meal they value every amount .

Every rich people were not in a expectation to get more and more. When they had earned a good amount for their living, certain group of people focus of having fun. In such a manner rich gets involved into gambling as it gets a excitement when the betting gets a good earning.
4754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with lost bitcoins on: December 09, 2016, 03:41:07 AM

If I remember correctly, in Denmark, if no one lives in an apartment for a year, it can be taken by anyone, and the previous right of ownership is revoked

I think it's the same as in Italy and it's totally reasonable if you ask me, since it's a waste for an apartment to rot unused when it can be recycled and put to a good use by someone else.

That's a better idea, but before taking it under control from the first authority it need to be informed to them. Else it might create issues between the first and second authorities. Also as mentioned these were applicable in very few selected countries.
4755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin impacts? on: December 09, 2016, 03:03:57 AM
simple fast payments and transaction and a way to be your own bank.

Yeah, bitcoin has made great revolution in the technology and in the transaction. With its continued growth it is moving forward as an alternative for the banking sector. Importantly it had given access to users an investment option.
4756  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: December 08, 2016, 04:59:28 PM
Lots of the markets on there are scams. I have lost around $500-$600 being scammed of BTC on my old wallet. But, if you want to make lots of sales the Deep Web is the place to go. Good Luck!

Yes there are a lot of scammers on there and you should also never buy something from it randomly because in the most cases you will than lose money.

It's true that there are a lot of scammers throughout the dark marketplaces and that is why we call it dark market for those people who are keep on hiding in the dark and doesn't want to expose their shady behavior and activities are there. So don't ever try to have some transactions there or else you will feel sorry about it.
a bad place will never be a good income for you , avoid to deal on there.
dark marketplace is a place for illegal marketers or for a tech savvy only.
the good thing there is only about bitcoin used as the primary payment processor , the rest is just full of bad things.

Even in dark marketplace you can find lots of trusted traders. Getting the first successful trade seems to be difficult. If you're a person who like to take risk, then surely you can give a try to it with small amount. Why I suggest is that dark marketplaces give a big profit margin on products comparatively.
4757  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: December 08, 2016, 04:46:55 PM
Several country governments were in a plan to create their own digital currency. This doesn't mean that they will be having features similar to bitcoin. The country's fiat will get circulated in the digital form, government will be controlling authority. Everyone can be tracked easily than using fiat. This helps government for better functioning.
4758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: University Business School ESMT Berlin Now Accepting Bitcoin on: December 08, 2016, 04:28:51 PM
University Business School ESMT Berlin Now Accepting Bitcoin

https://news.bitcoin.com/german-esmt-berlin-accepts-bitcoin/

What do you think about this?

Its a step forward in the growth of bitcoin and acceptance around the entire world. Previously a school in India accepted fee in terms of bitcoin. Following this such a acceptance in Business School helps bitcoin users as well helps promoting bitcoin.
4759  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: December 08, 2016, 04:16:29 PM
Bitcoin has no age restrictions unlike bank accounts but I think the average user cannot be too old since older people are too set in their ways but it cannot be too young either since you need to have some money to invest so my guess is wee are something between 22 and 37 years old.
i think the old people have the a good opportunity to invest, specially if they are retired from their jobsm, and setting free, i think they can give good time to bitcoin as compare to other people who are busy in their job.

The old people would have felt good, if they have known about it during the days of earning. So that they could have made a small investment regularly on bitcoin. This would have helped them with a added backing to spend and have a good time after the days of retiring.
4760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people use/hold bitcoin in 2016 on: December 08, 2016, 10:52:20 AM
Im interested to know how many people are actually now involved in the bitcoin world, Is there anyway to find out a rough idea of the user base so that we can come to a conclusion on what kind of adoption we are currently at? It seems difficult to gauge since this forum alone has several duplicate accounts from the same people.

. /r/bitcoin has 180k subs to it so would it be safe to assume if we included all miners, users holders and whoever else that we are still at under 1 million users? If this is the case then we still have a long way to go.

Does anyone have any more accurate guesses or way to determine the market?

It will always be a wild guess and the exact figure will never be known.

Yeah, bitcoin price prediction as well the user prediction can just be guessed, making exact number is impossible. Several threads have been running based upon the user profile count. I believe these number is increasing gradually. By the time of next halving we can expect the users to get increase to at least a 10% growth.
