4741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 08, 2017, 12:46:24 PM
I don't know much people who are able to live with income maid from Bitcoin only. First it's hard to count on exact sum each month because of the price volatility and will you be able to make decent living only from Bitcoins depends also on the country you live in. But I very much beleive that Bitcoin is excellelent source of extra income.
4742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Macron supporting bitcoin? what does it mean for us? on: May 08, 2017, 12:12:59 PM
You just give too many powers to politicians regarding Bitcoin. Macron like any other politician will do nothing and he can't influence that significantly. He has far more serious problems than Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Don't expect from single persons to do some revolutionary for Bitcoins because that is not going to happen.
4743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of many reasons why I love bitcoin on: May 08, 2017, 11:46:44 AM
Everyone loves Bitcoin these days because the price is very high and everyone is holding to get rich or at least have some good parking. But it wasn't that all the time, when the times for Bitcoin weren't so good many were thinking to abandon it.
What I like the best about Bitcoin is the alternative that it represents.
4744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: May 08, 2017, 10:55:07 AM
I like to use multiple wallets and never to keep all funds at one place so at the moment I'm using blockchain, mycelium and xapo wallet. I've also heard that electrum wallet is very good so I'm planning to use it.
No matter which wallet you use is very important that you keep the security standards on high level.
4745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Are there any other btc transaction accelerators on: May 07, 2017, 06:33:24 PM
I had problems with 36 hours unconfirmed transactions and this was realy frustrating and at the moment I thought they were lost. At the end I succeed to solve this with Viabtc and I managed to get confirmation but this wasn't easy because they are overloaded these days and to submit transactions wasn't easy at all. Still, I recommend everyone to try to speed transactions this way.
4746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please recommend wallet on: May 07, 2017, 06:22:50 PM
You are asking for all in one wallet but I wouldn't suggest to keep all currencies at one place, first of all because of security reasons. Or easier to say don't keep all eggs in one basket. For Bitcoin I could suggest Mycelium and Coinbase have LTC and ETH option but the bad side is that they will not let keep you the private key.
4747  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Slow payments and fees solution??? on: May 07, 2017, 06:17:09 PM
I can confirmed what is said for Xapo because I also use it and it offers good solutions for the users. They are taking care of customers taking into consideration current issues. Security is other issue and its true that it could be targeted by hackera but there is still no perfectly secure Bitcoin service.
4748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transactions now take ages to confirm? on: May 06, 2017, 03:44:28 PM
Just to add that I have put 0.0004 fee for 0.002 transaction and this is not low fee and I still can't get the transaction confirmed. And of course that Viabtc doesn't have some magic powers so I'm afraid there is nothing I could do but just sit and wait that my transactions will get confirmed soon.
4749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Had a Dream Aliens Brought Us Bitcoin to Save Our Monetary System on: May 06, 2017, 03:25:52 PM
Strange dream but not so impossibe. If aliens realy exist they could have even more developed technologies and some currencies more developed than Bitcoin. This will remain a mistery and in many times when people don't have solution for something or just can't explain something they think this have came out of space.
4750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transactions now take ages to confirm? on: May 06, 2017, 03:16:24 PM
I could also join the club, have three transactions that are not confirned for more then 36 hours. Some say that the fee should be at least 0.0006 BTC to get confirmed in reasonable time. Is this some kind of miners blackmail? I used Viabtc but this haven't helped because they are so overloaded with requests and the transactions just can't be submitted.
4751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Advice on a stuck transaction (again) on: May 06, 2017, 12:56:03 AM
I understand this about higher fees, but to send transactions again I need again this exact sum, right? What if I don't have it in the wallet? Or can I resend the same one?
What I've noticed is that the problem is with blockchain web wallet because not sent, nor received transactions are not confirmed for a long time now and I don't have this problem with other wallets, no matter the fee.
4752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a threat to BTC??? on: May 05, 2017, 05:45:06 PM
I.don't know what that exactly means that Ethereum is much better then Bitcoin? At the moment Bitcoin is the strongest and the most accepted cryptocurrency. Of course there are issues, nothing is perfect, but to my opinion at the moment Bitcoin doesn't have some serious competition. Ethereum is totaly different story and its not the threath to Bitcoin.
4753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Miners or others stealing our bitcoin? on: May 05, 2017, 05:35:48 PM
Just don't be too greedy and include the recommended fee.

A few cents is not worth the frustration of waiting for hours or even days imo.

I always pay even over the advanced recommended fee..I accidentally spent what wasn't confirmed, so got an ingoing and outgoing transaction still unconfirmed..I sent message to Quickseller but unfortunately had as of yet no reply, so looks like either my btc will be lost again from the blockchain or I might be lucky to get it pushed through.. so far no luck, feeling a bit despondent now.

I don't know what is happening but many people have the same issues these days, including me. Yesterday I sent the funds as usual with recommended fee, it's been 24 hours now and stll nothing. And the number of unconfirmed transactions on blockchain is huge. Hope the coins are not lost or stolen but there is not much we can do I'm afraid.
4754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 05, 2017, 01:44:44 PM
This is not impossibe but you have to find advertisers who will be willing to do so and pay very high amounts to TV stations because Tv commercials are very expensive. And on what kind of channels should Bitcoin be promoted, what is the audience that would understand and like such commercials? In current situation with people's knowledge about Bitcoin this would not be that easy.
4755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 05, 2017, 01:35:57 PM
Where did you get the "because fees are still $0.4-$0.5"?
Maybe he's using the web wallet from blockchain. The wallet sometimes suggests you to send a miner fee of 0.00027 btc ($0.45) I stopped trusting their recommended fees because sometimes my transaction size could be above 500bytes.
http://prntscr.com/f4d4tp

Yes, that could be the case, I have similar experience with blockchain wallet. But on the other hand ignoring recommend fees could lead to problems with transactions confirmation. Although if you look at today's numbers there are so much unconfirmed transactions, seems there is some problem with Blockchain again, no matter the amount of fee.
4756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2017, 01:31:55 PM
You simply can't convince the people to something they don't understand or don't find interesting. So, first you have to make people interested and explain them how it's working, what are the advantages and how they can benefit. It's the best that you use some good example and break this fear people have from new and unknown.
4757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only now many countries recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency? on: May 05, 2017, 01:13:50 PM
Maybe this is not the right question. Many countries have done that before, it wasn't the problem that Bitcoin is virtual currency but should it and how be regulated and inegrated in financial system and that is still the question now. But many have realized that virtual currencies in general are inevitable and part of the future so they are now maybe more willing to accept them.
4758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoins on: May 05, 2017, 12:20:02 PM
Of course it's possible to earn Bitcoin without Investing fiat money but you will have to put more efforts. Besides signature campaign one of the best way is to perform different jobs for Bitcoins. If you have some special skills and knowledge that shouldn't be very hard, people always need products and services. But remember, no pain, no gain, Bitcoins will not fall from the sky to you.
4759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ready to sell 1000 BTC on: May 04, 2017, 01:56:30 PM
Even if I had such big amount of Bitcoins I wouldn't share this here on forum. What is the point? Just to make self promotion but this also could be dangerous and you could easily become hacker's target and they know how to get to your data. Still, if you hold so much coins, you're wealthy man.
4760  Economy / Economics / Re: The biggest profit you made from selling stuff for Bitcoins on: May 04, 2017, 12:45:26 PM
I sold my hero member account for 1 btc before 2 years but the fact is at that time the price of bitcoins was too low so I couldn't enjoy that profits as it was spent very quickly on my basic stuffs.

Wow, today this would be very big sum and you would earned a lot. Still, it's a big amount for the account
But nowdays I think that account prices have fallen significantly and there is no use of selling account. There are also people who are farming accounts, what I find unfair and dishonest.
