GO SPREADCOIN!  Grin

I don't know much about your vanity gen problem. But, I am curious... what is your avatar? lol

ah yes the avatar. well seeing how you are the 1st fellow bitcointalk community member to ask that question
i wont give my standard " oh now that would be telling!"  response (with the accompanying gene wilder meme or some such)

so that is an old Irfanview (great piece of free imaging software btw)inverted cropped pic of yours truly sporting wrap around sun glasses
that has been run thru some sort of image altering algorithm like a billion times.
its a leftover file from the album cover i created for a bunch of recordings i made back in my artsy fartsy song writing days.

4742  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: October 09, 2016, 05:47:23 AM
Another reason why some atheists hate religion is, they want to be first. They want to look good.

Scientists and astronomers just know that there are aliens out there somewhere. It is only logical to conclude this, considering all the space that is out there.

But many ancient religions have talked about angels, or their like, thousands of years ago. The ancient peoples didn't exactly understand outer space like we do, but they understood the aliens. There are even those ancient religions that have knowledge of the Nephilim... descendants of some powerful aliens that visited earth long ago, and mingled their DNA with human DNA.

Scientists are upset that the ancients knew all about aliens. So, they try to downplay this ancient knowledge so that they can be first. In their attempts at being first, they try to ignore God, and say He doesn't exist. But guess what? The ancient peoples were right about aliens, so why wouldn't they be right about God?

Atheists... such a group of smart people in some ways, and so ignorant in other ways.

Cool

Only ignorant for trying to reason with the likes of you fairy-tale believers.

When it comes right down to it, the only reasoning atheists do is faith based in the things that they stupidly believe. Oh, sure. They have lots of "compartmental" logic about the things that they believe, but the whole premise of many of their beliefs is totally ridiculous. And when you show this to them, they claim that the users of REAL logic are fairy-tail believers.

I mean, look at the three major Big Bang Theories and the 4 major Black Hole Theories. None of these theories are compatible with any of the others. Yet, because they have so many theories, Big Bang and Black Hole just have to be true. How stupid can you get?

Yet, when you throw real, factual scientific laws at them, like cause and effect, complex universe, and universal entropy, they ignore the proof that God exists as shown by these three things. Rather, they go about trying to use non-factual theory to prove that the facts are not facts.

What a bunch of blind, intelligent, morons these atheistic scientists are!

Cool

intelligent morons eh?
huh, i never knew morons were intelligent.
yeah too bad we had/have all these intelligent moron atheistic scientists like  Einstein, Tesla, Edison, Darwin ,Hawking De grass Tyson, Asimov, Dawkins.
and the list goes on... damn atheist scientists! they dont know shit!!
they shoulda believed in the almighty invisible sky daddy to guide their work.
then we would be so much more advanced today.

cue badeckers farcical reply...
who lives on this joke of a thread to spout his ignorant religious nonsensical non scientific word salads because in any real science forum
with real scientists he would be shredded to pieces and laughed at and he knows it... in 3...2...1..

4744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: October 08, 2016, 11:52:16 PM
fun fact...
one of my 2 miners hit  a measly 13 blocks the 1st 6 days of october  (other one slightly better... yeah, im big time baby!!)
so then i upgrade wallet and bam! 1st day mining with it (well same miner actually, but whatever)
i hit 10 blocks! karma baby!... (apologies for 2 baby! (s) in same post)

um...well then again maybe the fact that network hashrate took a nose dive from around 700mh to
current 430mh (and subsequently difficulty dropped as well) just mighta had somthing to do with that...
but hey whatever man... spreadcoin mining, it makes my life fun in my old age..and its way more healthy than
my past indiscretions which i wont get into here cuz that would be off topic...

I was on the soundcloud. You're music and vibe rocks. Thanks for sharing. I haven't checked if out to see if its on spotify, but I will later.

and i just wanted to make sure i give credit where credit is due .
the acoustic trax are all me. ("sirazimuth" my fav duh!!!)
the multi track stuff (full band with drums etc) is my late musical partners stuff (with me on bass guitar)
whom i credit as a huge influence  for all the stuff i later came up with.

thanx for linc. very nice voice indeed

so i could never get that vanity gen thing to work when i upgraded to latest wallet a few months ago.
wasnt bothered as everything else worked fine.
finally just upgraded my main pc to v0.9.16.1 wallet. so both my pcs are now running it.
no issues except i tried the vanity gen thingy again just fer shitz n giggles and same thing. wtf?
to wit...i click in the "create pattern' field and curser appears but nothing happens when i try to enter characters.
its like a "dead" field.
not that it really matters. i mean i dont think i'll lose any sleep over the fact that i dont have
"Sirazimuthspreadthedogsbollocksminer2016" for my spread addy. Grin
but i was just curious, is this a windows 10 thing or what? anyone else with same issue? or am i missing something?
(more than likely...the latter)

oh yeah....

GO SPREADCOIN!

Was Stuart Fraser really a MINOR contributor, or contributor to the delinquency of a minor - miner?

Nice try, good delay, but NO WAY can Fraser slime out of this, with those WSJ releases, he is toast.

Sadly though, it's not up to any of us. Some random judge will decide it. Hooray USA. Tongue
you are correct in that it is not up to you. you and suchmoon are both stupid bitches if you think stuart or garza will do any jail time. this is an american court case. money equals innocent in america.

go take a long walk on a short pier yu worthless pile of shite
is that your best argument?

no argument pal...yu insulted my friends, so i returned the favor

guys, a question

I cannot remember the passwork in a spr wallet, to unlock it.

Is there any way to recover it?

I would like to send the amount to georgem in spr:
ShutUpHxbuLdy22g9NE4afviUr2Cnqd68H

i believe the only way to recover a qt wallet password is to know it,
so if you have forgotten it with no record of it, unfortunatly you are like that saying goes...
up shitz creek without a paddle.
but if its any consolation, you get unlimited guesses. good luck
4751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 03, 2016, 02:42:37 AM

That would be pretty funny if true. The dump certainly had the hallmarks of a total n00b. Somebody should check if there's been a large sum of old, unspent coins that moved recently.

reminds me of the tale of  that dude that chucked out his old HD then dicovered
the bitcoin he had on it was worth millions. except this lucky bastard didnt lose em.
im thinkin if this is true we may well read about it in the papers unless he's smart and keeps
his mouth shut. im sure mr tax man would be very interested indeed.

He probably has no clue that the banking system will collapse very soon and all his money will be somehow worthless in time... currency wars are about to hit the "sh!t fan".

Umm.... yeah.

1. Doesn't supposedly remember that he mined BTC way back when?  Check.
2. Says he successfully put a 5-year old desktop hard drive into a brand new laptop (which is likely impossible)? Check.
3. Has a "range" of BTC (he says "between" 3k to 5k) instead of divulging the *exact* number? Check.
4. Doesn't bother to divulge any public key address(es) to verify his story? Check.
5. Sounds like total made up BS? Check.

well yeah... actually come to think of it(im sober now)agreed, absolute BS... but hey,it was a fun story eh?! i even googled TFW ..

I like this coin, i didn't find any recent news about the awesome DAO attacker? he totally deserved all money he got via the exploit.

If you were the owner of the DAO, what would you feel after the DAO attack. Do you still think he deserves it?

i'd feel pretty damn stupid (among other things) to  say the least...
and whether or not he/she deserves it..thats irrelavent, what difference does it make?

i got into the coin stakin thing about a year and a half ago.
i chose Tek and Sprouts. bought at Corruptsy no less...  (dont laugh!)
you know that ponzi palace that spawned every scammin' shitcoin out there? which btw is pretty much all of em.
i was like woo hoo! every 30 days with incoming coin.
so look how that worked out for me,  lol   what a joke!
it was just chump change , so thankfully i can laugh about it now.
especially when that bell ring pop up thingy happens, incoming coin! (NM its worth all of .0001 cents)
unless of course, its that damn annoying java nag screen, then i say "hey,GTFO!"

so yeah, what the hell, i'll keep on stakin'...

anyway... thats my 3 Teks worth...

4756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Millions of People Use Bitcoin? on: October 01, 2016, 01:29:11 AM
well we could always look at total users as a function of total market cap.
for example todays market cap (according to CCMC) is just under $10 billion.
so assuming oh... lets say 2 million users, then each user has an average holding
of $10 billion divided by 2 million = $5000= 8btc+
so if you think the average bitcoin user holds around 8 btc then that would equate to 2 million users.
etc...

...or i could be just talking out my ass... Cheesy
