Venezuela - Ecuador
If I look at the odds at the moment Ecuador is the favorite and I think that's probably the right thing, considering from the two games the fact that Venezuela has still not scored. But if I consider the previous result where Venezuela was able to draw with Colombia, then it looks like this match will be tough too. That way, I bet Under 2.5 goals @1.59 because maybe the match will end in a draw or Ecuador will win by a narrow margin.
I will stay away from this game although I believe Ecuador will win it. A very hazardous game for me that might end with a disappointment, without taking on consideration covid absentees... |

Spain and Germany at the same tier? I think Germany should be in Tier A after today's performance. I would put France and Italy - Belgium at same tier though. Italy and Belgium look better than France now after second games. Group stage doesn't reflect reality but it gave us an overview of teams and their potentials. Spain has potential and good players but it isn't convincing at all. French failure doesn't mean anything for those who followed the game and Deschamps won't let this happen again imo. Germany was quite good, way better than first game, but I still want to have a better idea about their stability and consistency. Italy is resting a lot of players (but giving Verratti a start), both them and Wales are guaranteed to go through with a draw. Odds on bookies go as high as 4.10 and it's something I simply have to take.
In another game advantage goes to Switzerland, Turkey has to be among the biggest disappointments so far. Both teams need a win, it will be interesting to see which one will play on the counterattacks.
Wales will remain second even if it lose the game unless Switzerland wins big and Italy trash them which I doubt to be the case regarding starting eleven in the Italian side. |

Another not inspiring game of Spain.
Spain will not go so far in this competition imo even if it managed to pass the group stage.. I would say the whole group (E) isn't promising. Now Germany winning 4 - 2 vs Portugal (2 - 4 isn't false too) is something unexpectedly good. Now that is a group (F) that every single team on it (/Hungary) deserves to be a champion  |

I think France will get its revenge in the second half.
Hungary is hungrier and that is why they could not spill the chance to fees when they saw it. France is overfed that's why they can afford to throw away chances. I think they’re hungrier for more goals. Hungary is fighting with everything they got defending like crazy and waiting for a counter attack thats how they scored their first goal . France missed a lot of good chances both Benzema and Mbappe. France will push hard in second,we will see if Hungary can withstand the pressure Honestly I didn't call it a counter attack because French defenders didn't do anything to stop him. Such slim victories for both, one was the outright fav and Argentina were the slight ones, 2x a little bit over IIRC.
The matches were way too late for me to watch of course, so I'll never know how it played out but happy my Messi man didn't get disappointed with another draw after yet another single goal involvement:)
Same I cannot watch the game but I saw a highlight. I didn't see opportunities for the Uruguayan team except for an attempt from Suarez but it wasn't accurate at all. Argentina missed few shots and winning with 1 goal isn't reassuring imo. |

Colombia 0 - 0 Venezuela. Well that was unexpected  I don't know if I should be thankful for the not attractive odds that made me stay away from betting in this game but I feel the pain of losing what supposed to be easy money meh... To resume the game, Venezuela = 0 threat = 1 point! The result was really surprising (to some extent this is good, otherwise I began to feel excitement and a desire to risk my money, which could end badly). By the way, you wrote earlier that the coefficient is not very interesting for you. In what sense? Do you choose more risky events or, on the contrary, more likely ones with a lower coefficient? I prefer riskier ones where the odds are above 1.5 and preferably around 2, in general. I also back a team behind by 1 goal to win, of course if I trust they will do it (ManU failed me in their game vs Villarreal BTW  ). Odds @1.2-1.3 vs @6-8 don't attract me, since I have to bet with a big amount for the favorite team or risk a smaller with the underdog one which end up with surprising results!! Game ended 0:0, but it wasn't boring. Before game I said that Scotland have no chances today, but I was completely wrong. They were much better than I expected. While England were nothing special tonight. For Scotland, draw isn't perfect score, but it keeps their hopes to go furthervalive. While for England, draw isn't disaster. Maybe it only hits their ambitions after mocking Scottish football for decades.
You weren't the only one completely wrong... I thought the game will be a training mode for England...apparently I overestimated them too much. Games involving group D teams are very unpredictable for real. Pretty disappointed so far from England, only draw with Scottland.

Croatia - Czech Republic. Croatia looked disappointing, especially in 1st half. Penalty was quite questionable - I think if there wouldn't be blood, penalty wouldn't be given. And that moment Schick with bloody nose scored it, looked quite epic. Draw isn't worst result for Croatia, now I think they just have to beat Scotland in last round.
England - Scotland, I don't have big expectations about this game. England is going to win confident, I have no doubts about it.
I followed parts of the first and second half of Croatia - Czech game and I wasn't impressed at all. Both teams were playing close football, no real threats. What we expected from Croatia has nothing to do with reality.. Until now, England 0-0 Scotland, control the ball and do nothing, at least in this first half. |

We have seen for several years that Argentina's defense is weak. In the previous World Cup, Argentina could not perform as expected due to weak defense. But even then I didn’t see any move from the AFA to strengthen their defense. The same kind of weak defenders are being taken into the team and as usual they are performing poorly. I don't understand how Argentina dreams of winning the title without strengthening the defense.
Having stars without having a consistent team will not make them champions, barely nothing changed in Argentina in the last couple years... Now they have to face Uruguay which isn't an easy team at all, I see the result as 50/50 although odds are in favor of Argentina @2 vs @4 for Uruguay. Brazil did an excellent job yesterday trashing Peru with 4 goals! Incredible! |

Slovakia played great in the first match. They have also given average performance in today's match. They do not have a skilled striker in their team. Having a star player would have improved their gameplay. Slovakia wanted to draw today's match. But they were not able to draw. The match would have ended in a draw if Sweden had not been awarded a penalty.
Playing for a draw and full defensive play will end with a disappointing result in most cases.. Slovakia made a surprise win vs Poland but failed to secure a spot after its defeat vs Sweden with 1 goal.. Group E winners will be hard to determine until the last minutes of the 3rd game. Spain - Poland tomorrow is very interesting to watch! For Croatia match, the result is still 0-0 with odds @2.5! |

Tomorrow we will have boring games, maybe the only one interesting will be England Scotland since it is a derby.
I find England - Scotland as an easy game, it should be a training mode for the first team. If England struggle to win, I will be very surprised. Otherwise Sweden vs Slovakia is interesting since the latter could be the surprise of this group, picking a spot from Spain or Poland. |

Maybe I missed it but I read Buffon is back at his home club? It is said that he returned to Parma. He's back with a free transfer status. At the age of 43, it seems that he does not want to retire immediately. We know Parma are currently in Serie B the Italian league.
I assume many fans wanted to see him retiring but he has other plans. I don't think Buffon will continue more than 1-2 years, helping Parma joining Serie A again will be his main objective tho. BTW there is talks? between Ramos and PSG? Still nothing clear after the talk. |

The results of today's matches are obvious to me: Brazil will beat Peru and Colombia will beat Venezuela. By the way it seems like easy money: 1,33 x 1,19 = 1,58 Indeed, I doubt there will be surprises in these matches. Colombia is way better than Venezuela. Brazil generally wins with +2 goals vs Peru but failed sometimes, I doubt Peruvian team will resist in this game. BTW in Stake, 1.39 x 1.22 = 1.69 (not very interesting odds for me) |

Denmark really played well and till the last minutes had Belgium on their knees with some scary shots and chances. De Bruyne had a good impact with one assist and a goal and both of them were crucial in Belgium's win.
For someone seeing a part of the first half, I was surprised that Belgium is behind with 1 early goal and was asking how they were classed first as the boys mentioned here. I'm looking forward to the times when Messi leaves the national team, I think they will be transformed without him.
Transformation can be to a better situation or to a worse one. I will not talk much about Messi but rather how much their teammates failed him and their nation/supporters. The problem of Argentina is how effective the whole team. Having the best players is a thing and having a very coordinated and effective players is another thing. If Argentina has the late option without Messi, the team should be just fine. |
