Stanley Pringle deserves the BPC award.

He's the most consistent player in Ginebra in the bubble up to the Finals. We all see that. Others even consider him as the Finals MVP.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/ginebra-s-stanley-pringle-named-pba-best-player-of-the-conference-a795-20210117

I agree on this one mate. We all saw who put water whenever the TNT is on fire in the finals.

The only thing i wonder is why Ray Parks who is the leader in SP didn't even make into the "Elite 5".
I guess it's based on the impact of the team? Instead of him, they get Poy Erram.. I'm really not sure of this one too.
Do they give the criteria of judging on this award?

I'm hoping Calvin will win here?

He did not won the BPC award but at least he is on the Elite 5, his only award aside from ROY if i'm not mistaken.

Calvin will eventually get an MVP award, I'm betting on him next season.. Hard because Fajardo will be coming back, but if Calvin will continue to play the kind of basketball he showed in the bubble, he has a big shot.

Ganda naman ng odds ng Clippers if they won by more than 26 points.

Medyo buwenas ako pag LA teams ang tinatayaan ko ahh so for tomorrow my bet is Lakers -8.5 @1.84 vs Warriors.

9Wins - 19Loses, my standing.

Good luck kabayan.. humahabol na standing mo..

Maiba naman, ayaw mo ba sa Nets? +2 sila now, tapos home court pa. hehe
4743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 18, 2021, 07:13:51 AM
Guys, I was thinking, with James Harden going to the Brooklyn Nets, do you think the team will be more competitive? They can beat the Lakers for example?

Until now, it seems to me that everything is going well, let's see how the team will fit in some time.
Yes.

They are upgraded with that roster but that doesn't mean that they can be assured of beating strong teams like the Lakers.

There chances has just increase in winning the championship, and we can verify that based on the odds for championship which they are currently at the number 2 now, lakers still at the number 1. Which means, Lakers are favorites in the West and Nets are in the East and if these two will meet, Nets will be the underdog,.. I'm sure some bettors would like that.

Quote
We'll see their overall performance soon to observe.

They should top the East like the Lakers topping the West.
4744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: January 17, 2021, 10:46:37 PM
While this might be the case for many of us, there is definitely a group of people who like risk and uncertainty. If you don't look for it you go for a safe 9 to 5 job without any upside. Your salary is fixed and you won't make any big pay jumps. People in the finance industry work a lot based on bonuses, so their salary is uncertain too. Or people working in sales are paid by commissions. There is also a change your salary per month.

Although both gamblers and employees get uncertain income, at least employees don't have the risk of losing money or the worst possibility is that what they did doesn't get rewarded, so they will only experience a loss in time and energy. Whereas in gambling, apart from an uncertain income, every gambler will definitely face the risk of losing their money.

Both are really different when it comes to the purpose of making money, have a job and you are safe but you'll only make a specific amount while in gambling there's no limit of how much you can make if you are lucky.. we call this risking high for a high reward, that's what gamblers do.

Some people does not really focus on just one, they like to gamble, they work to earn and use their earning in gambling, they'll only stop working if they are already making a decent money in gambling consistently, which we are rarely see as mot of us are losing in gambling.
4745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 17, 2021, 10:19:50 PM

Kyrie left the Cavs due to some issues and he don't want to be a 2nd option next to lebron so hopefully he will not react the same when harden departed on nets since if he will do some nasty moves which  can destroy their team chemistry well that would be a huge disaster to them. But we cannot  really compare harden to Westbrook since WB is a big ball hog and doesn't care about winning while harden is totally focus on winnings and he's good on sharing the ball if he see his teammate open.

If only Kyrie becomes a matured player, being a 2nd, 3rd option, and so on really doesn't matter as long as you're contributing for the team to win a chip. I'm already expecting Harden will handle the ball most of the time and that happened against the Orlando Magic. Kyrie really needs to adjust on Harden's style of play if they want to win a championship.
If this Nets team works very well, they will be dominating the East.

They will be very unpredictable if Irving will focus on the assists and Harden and Durant will focus on the points, that's the job Irving has to do, making more shot attempts will make his teammates stagnant and might not get their rhythm early. We know that Harden always makes a lot of shot attempts to generate more points, it might be limited here but with proper ball distribution, these big 3 can contribute according to the game plan.
4746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 17, 2021, 09:55:54 PM
Also, Nuggets vs Jazz under 219.5

With how these teams were lightning up the scoreboard against each other in the playoffs this seems like a risky bet. Mitchell and Murray will be putting up big numbers for sure. Whether or not the regular season brings out the same fire they had in the bubble remains to be seen.

Both are capable of making this game a high scoring game, it's too risky but I'll go with the under as well.

I like these two teams, I've seen how they gave each other a problem in the bubble so this should be a close game,  good luck.

4748  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Question about MEW (Myetherwallet) on: January 17, 2021, 01:38:48 PM

4749  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ledger: panibagong 20k customer data dump on: January 16, 2021, 11:14:08 AM

4750  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: January 16, 2021, 10:52:03 AM

4751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: January 16, 2021, 10:34:12 AM
But we are talking about dice here, right? It is true that I am talking about those gamblers that have a profit even though they are gambling for a long time but we are still talking about dice, luck-based games so I think strategizing can't help you. There might be some betting systems that could help you but I don't think that could make you a winner.

Seriously, we are talking on being a professional gambler by playing dice? No way.. there's no way we can be professional dicer as we don't have the advantage, we will just lose in the long run, this is a pure luck based type of game, not advisable to treat it seriously, for fun, it's good.
4752  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Location of Bitcoin ATMs in the Philippines [will update from time to time] on: January 15, 2021, 11:13:17 PM

4753  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: January 15, 2021, 10:56:21 PM

It's okay, part of the process.

Oo nga, maraming hindi makapaglaro na star players on some team due to health issues and protocols, the recent was KD where he had not played for three games i think and yet the Nets won some game without him and Irving lol. So before betting tingnan muna ang balita kung sino ang hindi makapaglaro.

7W - 17L, standing.

Edit:

Bet for the day:
Lakers -9.5 @2.0 vs Pelicans

Iwas muna ako diyan kabayan, ibang games tinitingnan ko now, masyadong easy sa Lakers yan at yong Pelicans mukhang desperate na silang manalo.

Ito yung pick ko ngayong araw.

OKC vs Bulls under 224.5

4754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 15, 2021, 10:38:37 PM
The pressure might be on Nash to even get Kyrie back on the court this season. Kyrie is complaining about the Nets and Durant is already complaining about Nash to Harden. Now Kyrie is saying he’s willing to sit out the rest of the year if need be. I think next they’ll be trying to play with no coach... Such toxic players...

....
I'm not aware of Durant complaining about Steve Nash to Harden. Mind sharing links? Interesting news lol.
I think this is the link that you've been looking for:

Edit:
And this for Kyrie:

Not so sure but I think that would be the reason...

Thanks for sharing bro, we can really understand the situation, they all want to win and yet sometimes they are inconsistent, so we can hear this kind of complains, this is good for the team, at least they are open and they'll see their weaknesses and improve it.
4755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 13, 2021, 11:32:51 PM
He is actually a boxer:
https://www.essentiallysports.com/boxing-news-jake-paul-vs-logan-paul-who-is-the-better-boxer/

with professional record of;
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/896698

Its 0 wins and have a loss not being counted. What in the world for people to believe that Logan will defeat a boxer which does have 50 wins without loss?

Well. His only "professional" fight is against Olajide William Olatunji (KSI), which was regarded as an exhibition match by most of the boxing fans. So I will not give much importance to these stats. He is an amateur and he lost his match against another amateur boxer. Technically I don't think that he can be called as a professional boxer. For all those Logan Paul fans, feel free to bet in his favor. It is a good way of wealth redistribution, IMO.

That is my hope too. It would be great if all the Youtube people come and bet on Logan Paul so the stats will be in our favour. This match is going to be so one sided. Floyd is still going to the gym on a regular basis, he is a machine and will detroy him.
Does he really need to go to  gym  for this fight? For sure it isnt really that needed. Simple  warmup and shadow boxing would already be an enough training for him.
For die hard fans then  they would really  be betting out for him and we dont know if they  are just trying  to be  blind or just for the sake of moral support. Lol

Going to the gym is not new to Floyd, he keeps doing that even if he does not have a fight.

He owns a gym and therefore it's already part of his life, and training in his gym is really expensive according to this article.

https://www.sportscasting.com/training-at-floyd-mayweathers-gym-is-ridiculously-expensive/

4757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 11, 2021, 10:39:24 PM
It's actually not a problem on which team will pick him because any team as long as they have the budget would be interested to add Manuel in their roster, we will leave it up to Manuel on which team he will choose to play and I hope not a super team like the SMB.
Yup, you are right. I'm confident that even though he is not as agile and athletic as the other Power Forward from other teams, I sense that the demand for him is still considerably high. Hello? He won't become a Gilas representative if he wasn't worthy enough. Another good thing to him is his energy and brute force inside the hard court. That's a promising attitude.

But just like what you've said, I'm also hoping that he will not go to a super team like SMB or even Ginebra. I would be glad to see him in Dyip or Phoenix hehe. I want to see more strong contenders in championship titles because I noticed lately that PBA is getting predictable.

These two teams you've mentioned are good teams for Manuel to land. But for DYIP he can't bring this team in the PBA Finals, I guess he will be a big contribution to the Phoenix and this team will be a good team to give a hard time to the SMB teams, and also consider that Manuel and Abueva had a good chemistry way back in Alaska's time, adjusting is not hard for them, and these bad boys playing in the court, damn.. what a combination.
4758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 11, 2021, 01:46:32 PM
Who bet Biden will get money for sure but the question is the sportsbook that they use is legit? The election in the US last year is unpredictable because they are close voting to each other and many people watch the counting votes who gonna win and even me I vote for joe to win even Im not Citizens of the US I really like to win him to the presidential elections.

We do not know who place a bet for Biden, so we do not know who the winner is. If other members here place that bet and win, he can come out and tell us how much money he owns and hope that he can withdraw his win money. I think that will be a lot of money that he can win, but that will depend on how much money he bet on that event.

We might not know how much exactly they win or lose but we have a betting odds for that, and Biden was the favorites during the election, therefore winners only won lower than their bets which is less than 100%.

This is not exactly the betting odds as there are some movements to consider, but we can view this as an estimate.

4759  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: January 11, 2021, 01:25:38 PM
I cannot imagine life without banks, even though we have had a turbulent year and it has fueled the demand for cryptocurrencies. But in reality, i realize that dealing with banks will still be controlled. I am not a person who believes all in decentralized because the economy will need both centralized and decentralized for better development.
You can do banking even without banks, but if these remittance centers and other related businesses exist, for sure banks will also exist. For me, the importance of bank is only for safekeeping of my money, but I don't put higher than the insured amount. In terms of banking, we can do with other financial institution and nowadays we already have a lot of options in digital transactions, including crypto of course.

This one is the newest.
Aces misplayed their cards in the Vic Manuel negotiations

Quote
"Ayoko na talaga maglaro sa Alaska," the 6-foot-4 juggernaut was heard mumbling after a summit with head coach Jeff Cariaso.

That statement seems he has already decided, he will not anymore play with the Alaska Aces.

Manuel wants out, Alaska has to give him the freedom, his time with Alaska is over and he have already served them according to his salary. Now, since he wasn't so valuable in the team, then he should be open in the market for a chance to play with other team.

If Manuel is gone, then it should be Jeron Teng who will lead this team I believe.

Have you guys noticed, Alaska is letting go of it's star players. Few months ago, i have an article (blind item actually) that states that Alaska will leave the PBA and is on sale but they deny this rumors but with how things is going on now, it seems that it is going that way.

What do you think?  Cool

If you can share the source of the rumor, please do so.. well, if that's the reason behind then I guess what is happening makes sense. So we can assume that Manuel is the top paying player in the team, right? If Alaska is for sale, I hope it will not be bought by the SMC or the Pangilinan group because it will not make fans happy.

Marcial shrugs off reports of Alaska leaving the PBA as 'old news'

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/willie-marcial-on-reports-that-alaska-is-leaving-the-pba-a795-20200609

It's been in the news of Spin.Ph actually. The way i see, Alaska may not leave the PBA but they are not going to spend more money acquiring quality players. They will just be there in the PBA for the business side of it and not for the competition, just my thoughts.

Hmmm... So Alaska will be like Blackwater and DYIP, or even worse?

With this rumors, I think next season, I would not be confident on betting Alaska to win.. and if they are not gonna do well in the PBA, how can they market their product? I'm just a little  disappointed as I grew up watching PBA and Alaska was one of my favorite team.
