There's a difference between micro payments of $0.10 or $1 or something, and $0.00005. The former is good, the latter not.
Says todays exchange rate.. tomorrow?? This is the issue. Miners will tweak the values because they want to earn the transaction fee which becomes worth a lot.

I can see the delete button in the show last posts view of other users, if that thread is mine. This shows even if my thread isn't self moderated.
Deleting it doesn't actually work, but it should be hidden unless the thread is self moderated.

I think this is a good step. The 7gig blockchain file is getting too large. Bad news for satoshidice. People shouldn't be playing that idiot tax anyways. Bitcoin lottery is much better odds anyways, like http://www.satoshisploder.com . -.- It's not really bad news for S.DICE, they just gotta increase their lose notification by 430 satoshis.

I think most of the criticism would disappear if the patch would be held off until there was a GUI for "choose your relay / mining policy".

Bump to prevent more people using ripple.

Perhaps new members should start off as "Untrustworthy", and they can be marked as "trustworthy" by a member that is already "trustworthy". If you give that badge to someone who scams, your reputation is on the line.

Don't spread misinformation.
You have to connect directly to miners to get those transactions in a block because 0.8.2 nodes will not relay transactions with dust outputs at all.
Essentially speaking the network protocol has been changed.
Network protocol is not bitcoin-qt/bitcoind. Not every node will run 0.8.2.

As far as I know the block chain app is still on the store? They get around apple because the app stores no currency but only the keys to it. Its only a portal to your online bank account in the same way other banks have apps that let you send money.
+1 Somewhat i feel that people complaining that the blockchain app is lacking features doesn't own an iPhone. I have one and it's complete. Blockchain.info gets around of it by secretly including features if you are signed into a "old" blockchain.info account. New blockchain.info wallets don't have send or receive capacities. Unless you use Android

The network protocol has not changed, you can always send someone whatever transaction you want, but it's up to miners if they want to include the transaction in a block. Miners running 0.8.2 can use command line options to change their dust limit.

No longer will we be able to send someone a satoshi.
I am no longer a satoshi millionaire.
RIP satoshi.
You can send someone a satoshi. Miners may not include it, especially if they're using 0.8.2.

I'd be fine with a bot, though it shouldn't post in topics, and I'm not going to allow posts consisting entirely of bot commands.
That's a shame: IMO, a bot is most useful when triggered by commands in posts. Do you think you'd ever change your mind on that, or do you feel pretty strongly about it? I think theymos means that "+tip 0.25 btc" won't be allowed, but "Thanks for fixing my PHP script, +tip 0.25 btc" would be.

Miners and nodes who have the updated anti-dust code won't relay or mine those transactions, regardless of what fee you put them AFAIK.

Why the fuck aren't you using escrow for any questionable trade?

Contact bitpay with a support ticket? Kinda obvious.

I'm guessing this is a no, but just to confirm, I don't need to upload any credit rating documentation to *lend* money, right?
Nope, you don't need to upload anything.

MtGox can "draw" anything in their own data.
Or perhaps we don't need to go into conspiracy theories and that someone just placed a bid wall they're going to pull.

Post evidence in this thread, mods theymos will eventually see it and tag him if they feel he is a scammer.
FYI, don't use EasyCoin/EasyWallet/whatever instawallet of the day.
