4741  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: September 21, 2016, 02:44:58 PM
It's kinda a little inappropriate to rely on floppy disk now much more for a portable and handy technology like bitcoin. BTC is built around your hands not in your pc as it use to transact in which place you want to be. You can't always bring a desktop or an adapter for it. In technology you don't go back to the past rather you move forward, for example do people still use VHS or Betamax now? If it is it maybe less than 5% of the population of the world. Also look at as now even CD-r players on laptops are disappearing.
4742  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would u still use Bitcoin if u were a USD multi millionaire? on: September 20, 2016, 04:42:35 PM
If im a millionaire I won't be buying anymore Bitcoin as already its prices peaked already. A good and wise millionaire will have mined and collected BTC when its prices are still low. People will always pick what has a good growth to it. When I am seeing Bitcoin's prices daily It won't be any time soon that it will reach the 1000 dollar mark. I would suggest that we must look for something new that will be lunching an ICO.
4743  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: September 19, 2016, 02:01:47 PM
I'm a little low on my wallet right now but having 10 Bitcoins will have a great boost on me. It's more than what I have before starting in the Bitcoin. Maybe I'll wait for the right timing until it reach the 750$ mark before trying to convert it to Fiat. The Fiat money I have obtain will be good money to start a small business for me to make a small earning.
4744  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: September 18, 2016, 10:59:02 AM
That's true. It can affect in a good manner, if you know how to use in the right way, or can bring undesirable events, if you act carelessly, but it becomes easier to manage with knowledge and experience.

You can say it affects life in a good way but it also affect life of some people in bad way, These are people who are a part of gambling to make more and more coins but unfortunately they loose all their earnings in gambling so bitcoin has a bad affect on life also. But 75-85 % it has a good affect on life of their users.

I think we should not care about the gamblers or others, if they are loosing it then its their own mistake, and they are not kids that they are not aware about reality, everyone here is for his own benefit so we should not interfere in someone else's matter.
Well they are just answering the question if bitcoin affects us or not. The post said nothing about not caring people who gamble but the point is they are also affected in a certain way whether it is a good thing or a bad thing.  Also CoinFoxs where did your statistics came from? That 75-85% of people who uses bitcoin has a good affect on them? Or is it just an estimate? Because I know that there are a lot of scammers and easy people to fool around the bitcoin world.

In most of the cases I have  to convert bitcoin to fiat currency, to use it on daily  expenses. But at the time  I am not spending it, I'm holding most part of the  stake in bitcoins. It seems to be a good  time to do so, in my opinion.
That's right saving your bitcoin in your wallet until it has a high price is a good way to actually have more money in comparison to converting it to fiat right away. Also If I have a choice I will pile up all my btc first instead of using it to pay for something not unless you don't have a choice of spending it. It is a good way to have more of any emergency fund in your wallet you'd be surprise on how many it can be.
4746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: September 17, 2016, 08:16:00 AM
My friends that don't care about investments does not have any clue about bitcoin, while my other friends when I tried mentioning bitcoin they said they have heard of it and tried to take a look at it. They said that Bitcoin is promising but other than mining BTC there are no other ways to earn equally with it.  They are right about it people will not attempt to try BTC unless they will earn from it.

Reading a lot of things in this forum, especially in Meta, and Scam accusations board, made me a more logical person. It really fascinates me how people in that board talk to each other. I don't get hurt easily now. Even if you throw shades at me, I won't take it personally. I will understand why you said that to me.

Bitcoin is also helping me financially which is a big part of our lives. It also took my attention away from social media sites. I used to spend hours talking nonsense to my friends in Facebook.
I am inspired with what you have said. I am still a student and I am looking for earning opportunities online but I am staying out of hyips and so called cloud mining sites, so besides you having a signature campaign what other ways do you earn btc online? Thank You.
4748  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where do Bitcointalk members invest besides cryptocurrencies? on: September 16, 2016, 05:39:35 AM
Penny stocks won't be considered as a wise kind of investing you must ho to the well known stable companies as most penny companies often use the ipo money to pay off debt and then later declare there company bankrupt. I am also into stock investing I invest in stocks that are undervalued but thee are not penny stocks.

I have not spent my bitcoins to purchase something from a physical store maybe its because it is hard to fina a business who is accepting btc in exchange for their product/merchandise. Good thing in your country they are accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment I hope many local businesses will accept btc too.
4750  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 14, 2016, 01:34:42 PM
I have seen some very nice arguments in this thread. Most interesting thing for me is that banks cant steal money from us, I remined how much I give to my bank each month for credit cards, for my account, for transactions. They are taking from me more then 10 euros each month, and that is a lot for my salary, more then 5 %.
I would like to be my own bank, and I to have my money for me and not to give them money every month. That wouldn`t be such big deal, but they are so unkind when ever I go there. They are acting like I`m idiot and they sit there in nice suits, and womans are dressed very nice, with big nails haircuts. Well I`m getting sick in my stomach when I think about that.
Banks can't steal money from us? Ok, but if it gonna be bitcoin bank it will be totally the same system. And it is also possible to steal all of your bitcoins, cause of wallets and exchangers can't guarantee you total security.
Banks does steal money from us. How? Well they use money that we deposited from them and use it to loan it to other people with high interest, after that they will give us little interest per yer, in which inflation will take place that will lower the buying power of our money saved, Lets not be outsmarted by greedy banks lets  find other ways to save money.
4751  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 14, 2016, 10:02:27 AM
Well having to use your BTC wallet can be handy as you won't bring any wallets, cards, or pocket money in order to pay, also you prevent it from losing money from loose pockets, having to pay the exact amount. Well everything would be benefitial but ofcourse it must be available for everybody in order to bring no extra cash.
4752  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: September 14, 2016, 04:12:51 AM
I guessed bitcoin won't have that kind of affect on what you are imagining right now. Also a crash is possible but the most realistic thing to happen with Bitcoin is a correction, maybe going down to the 500$ mark. Corrections are normal with commodities and stocks so us bitcoin will.
4753  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: September 13, 2016, 01:35:31 PM
For me personally you had a change of interest as you have taken interest on earning rather than socializing. What I see from you is that you use more time facing your computer, for me it is normal as not only you use the majority of their time into earning BTC, many people like you has been in same way of having interest of earning.
4754  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: September 13, 2016, 01:19:23 PM
It depends on the wallet really. For instance there are wallets before you open the app lets you ask for a pin before accessing the wallet. And also when you log in into their pc site will send you a text message containing a code so that you know you are the only one who can access your account. For me having a multiple wallets is much dangerous to keep track with.
