4741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 06, 2020, 03:57:40 PM
~~~
This has to be the biggest news for all football fans and also sports gamblers. I am really looking forward to match after match EPL and other leagues and hopefully this plan will be realized in the following months.
For me it does not matter if the match is not witnessed live by the audience and carried out in private which will only be broadcast on tv, due to conditions that do not allow. The world is still trying to continue to fight the virus pandemic so that its spread subsides, doing sports activities that are watched directly by fans will only make things worse. and I hope the option to hold a closed game is the right effort to be implemented and get support from the government.
4742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 06, 2020, 05:42:05 AM
Trading is a gamble due to the volatility of the market.
Why should we equate daily trading with gambling ?
Market volatility is caused by the demand and supply of traders and that is about how crypto assets are valued. And if because of volatility people will call it a gambling, then what about other traders who choose short-term or long-term trading? Because all traders without exception will take advantage of this volatility to profit.
4743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 06, 2020, 04:25:30 AM
~~~
What do you think, guys? Are all the suggestions worthed to follow by all gamblers?
Almost all the best advice is on the list and I think gamblers should consider it. That would have a positive effect for gamblers in my opinion. Good effort, mate.

Please let me know if there are other good suggestions!
Dont trust the strategy 100%. Yes, strategy is the gamblers attempt to win every bet and game they play. I just think that everyone has their own way of gambling and if a gambler fully believes in strategy and risks everything on one occasion, then I am very sure they will get more harm than they might win. Although the strategy is not a prohibited effort, but if you entrust it 100% to get the victory I think you are wrong because there is no strategy that can guarantee the gambler to win at every opportunity.

can you please let us know how we will get merit in this forum.
First, this question has been asked by dozens or even hundreds of times by other users before you and second you are an old user who registered an account on June 17, 2018 and I am sure you should already understand how you will get merit in the forum.

I am not very sure about the question you asked, but I have to think a little positively and will consider that question as a reason that you have difficulty getting services. If that is true, then you should start everything from these two thread before starting the journey in the forum. Before you try to get merit from other users in a post or thread that you create later, you must know in advance what a merit system is. Please read this thread: Merit & new rank requirements and if that still confuses you, then next you have to read this thread which is equipped with answers that are easy for you to understand. FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit.

You know what, I can respect all the players who've agreed to a pay cut, like those at Barca (that's why I love you guys a lot!) but you know what? I can also respect players who don't want to take a pay cut. Everyone has a right to a salary and their clubs should understand that. Freedom of personal choice.
All of player and staff has the right to get full salary as stated in their contract. But in a critical situation like now I am sure the club can also send requests to the players and all staff to negotiate salaries.

But still this is not meant to coerce players and staff, negotiations are being carried out because the club is facing a financial crisis situation because of covid-19, no matches, no promotions and everything. Without negotiating to cut the salaries of players and staff, I am sure the club will go bankrupt or go into debt.
So far I really praise the attitude of the players and staff from Barcelona who agreed to a 70% reduction in their salaries and I am also sure that there will be many clubs that make similar efforts to save money by paying salaries and staff.

Those cyber criminals are global, it's just that the Philippines has been very attractive to them lately.
There must be a reason why cyber criminals target your country as the right place to look for profits through their fraud schemes. So far I can say that the Philippines is a country with good growth in cryptocurrency users and at this stage people is enthusiasm for cryptocurrency investments can be used by fraudsters to carry out their goals.

In addition, I do not expect that they will also deceive and target us as cryptocurrency users from Indonesia and finally this case can be used as a warning so that we can also continue to be aware of the risk of fraud committed by cybercrimes through such investment schemes.

Hai manager, the second week of the campaign has finished, and as usual we are waiting for announcements about the campaign status for the following week or this week. Is the status still continuing? But I see that a spreadsheet for this week (week-3) is already available.

We should not have to be a daytrade, maybe the right words to make us like a merchant who is mentally strong and tough and not easily influenced by whale problems or warnings like that. But what must be done, the panic will not be stopped if the whales throw some of their assets on the market. If we dont cut losses and start buying them again when prices hit rock bottom, then we have to wait a little longer until the market recovers.

I just noticed that, every time a whale play is drama, there will be people who suffer losses if they dont cut losses when prices start to dump.
4749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance after Coinmarketcap on: March 31, 2020, 05:47:05 PM
I just dont want to speculate about the future of CMC that I hear wants to be taken over by Binance. But I really want to know what are the main reasons for CMC to sell the site to Binance?

CEO Binance has the capacity to buy CMC sites and make them more trustworthy by cryptocurrency enthusiasts, both investors and traders. I just hope that all cryptocurrency fans can enjoy something positive for the steps taken by Binance. So I am waiting for his decision.
4750  Other / Meta / Re: This is a self-moderated topic. on: March 31, 2020, 03:52:01 PM
From some of the threads that I have made, I often use self moderate topic features to prevent the entry of shit posters that pollute the quality of the thread. Self moderate topic is a warning for anyone who wants to post on the thread so they stay on topic and when they post something that is already out of the topic then most likely the post will be deleted by the OP.

For questions that you ask appear to have been answered by some other users, but you should still consider not to delete other users posts carelessly especially if they contain constructive criticism for yourself.
I am sure if all thread makers activate their self moderate features then it will affect the quality of users posts if they want to express their opinions on the threads we made.
4751  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Houseparty App potential hack may empty your wallets on: March 31, 2020, 03:26:20 PM
This is the first time I've heard of this application, and I personally don't see why the article would say that it "is one of the must-have apps for people self-isolating or in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic"?
Should this mean that without this application we cannot survive or that our lives will be easier with it?
Honestly, I also have never heard of it and this is the first. The main goal maybe because to eliminate boredom while staying at home, they want to stay connected to each other in the community and maybe the application can help.

But I dont like these things and besides being busy with real work, this forum is enough to help me stay connected to the bitcoin community and keep me entertained.

For all those who use smartphones for serious things like crypto, banking or storing some sensitive data my advice is to be very careful about every application, so even if it is downloaded from Google Play and has xxxxx downloads, it does not mean that it is safe.
Agree with you and this is what we have to think about, stay cautious and dont easily believe.
4752  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos and April fools, 2020 preempt on: March 31, 2020, 03:05:24 PM
BTW, In my opinion, people will not much surprised because many people in this now aware of April fool after became a fool in 2019.
I think theymos is a man with a good sense of humor and long before today maybe he has prepared surprises for all forum users whether it is permanent or only temporary. Lets wait a few hours from now, and if theymos cancel the April plan this year then I think its also surprising because we have been waiting for it a few days or a few hours from now. Cheesy
4753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: March 31, 2020, 02:46:20 PM
~~~
Actually, I often do this strategy when I play dice. Every time I lose the first bet I will double it on the second bet and if I still lose then I will double it on the third bet. But of course this strategy will require a lot of capital and courage from the players.
I just think that this strategy still has a 50:50 chance of winning, so still if we are too excited and cant control our emotions, as much as anything capital we have, it will disappear and we will come out empty-handed. Believe me, there is no strategy that always runs smoothly as we wish. I have tried it.
4754  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Adding More Child Board in My Local Board Indonesia on: March 31, 2020, 12:23:21 PM
~~~
So that it is more focused and neat, a newbie can easily find posts that they looking for.
Previously I thought your efforts were a good thing and I feel happy when you intend to make Indonesian local boards look neat but Until now I have not felt that the Indonesian local council needs a number of child boards in a category that is almost the same as what we can find on the English (global) board assuming that the level of compliance with regulations on the Local Indonesia main page is very good in other words many users have moderated the thread well and many of them have activated the self moderate thread.

I am as a local Indonesian user, just want to say that we only need to support and care for each other in terms of eradicating, preventing and trying to make posts and threads that are not useful no longer made there. So, enjoy it man, I am sure so far the Indonesian local board is a local board that has a lot of qualities users so that their contribution there is far more important than making other child boards that are exactly the same as on the global board.
4755  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hackers using fake COVID-19 app to implant infostealer malware on: March 31, 2020, 01:59:30 AM
I don't say them are smart. Scammers are always stupid, if not they are not scammers. there are many ways to get income and if they are smart, they can earn income by their own works, not scam ones.
They are not stupid, mate. They are smart enough to take advantage of the opportunities available and they can even take action even though the chances of success are very small. For them (scammers) there is no consideration that his actions are something that can harm others because they only want money and keep trying to find new victims all the time. For them, money can be produced in various ways even from the results of fraud they succeed in committing and this is a misleading ideology.

Victims are people who have had the bad luck of the efforts made by scammers, when someone has a concern about this then reminding one another is the most recommended and I thank the OP for sharing this information with the crypto community and I think your findings are worthy of appreciation.
4756  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk blocked from Russia on: March 30, 2020, 06:56:12 PM
I was surprised to hear that Russia was taking decisive steps to block all sites that could direct its citizens to access gambling sites including Bitcointalk. So far bitcointalk still facilitates forum users to be able to do gambling activities using crypto and I am sure many sites provide fair games and they can be trusted.

I am not sure they have taken the right decision to block the bitcointalk site for their citizens, and this blocking is very sad and very unfortunate because I know that there are many Russian users who contribute to bitcoin forums and communities and I think they have the right to access the forum when they want to.

VPN/Proxy/Tor. I'm using Coudflare DNS but it useless to bypass censorship.
Really, this is a government decision that has disappointed all parties. Is there another way for forum users from Russia to access the forum if everything you mention doesnt work.
4757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: March 30, 2020, 06:32:40 PM
~~~
Its quite easy and when they dont have a clear reason for their decision to stop gambling then Iam sure someone is hard to stop. Calculating the losses that have been suffered may be a step or attempt to stop gambling activities. But at this time, if you are a gambler who only likes to bet on sports matches, then you have the opportunity to stop because no match is played because Lockdown is valid simultaneously.
I used to be a lottery addict, so I had trouble sleeping and when I got to know Bitcoin in mid-January 2017 and I started to be active in forums, my betting activity was almost completely stopped. Therefore, I think the role of substitute activities is also very important in terms of stopping gambling. Without substitute activity, I am sure someone will return to gambling quickly.
4758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 30, 2020, 06:19:57 PM
~~~
You dont have to look for alternatives if you are not a gambler who only wants money from your gambling activities. But there is a possibility you cant stop easily if you have made gambling a place to make money, and switching to online casinos is the solution that has been taken so far.
Almost all football lovers miss the match and if this season is canceled then I think there will be more parties who get an impact and this time maybe not only on finance but the championship title that has to be canceled. There is no title for those who currently lead the standings and that is a very poignant fact especially because the League is almost finished this season.
4759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: March 30, 2020, 05:56:22 PM
I got recommendations from friends or acquaintances to be part of the forum because at first I liked trading. I need to get more information about trading because I am a trader with small capital. To benefit from my activities as a trader, I must always get information and news, so I arrived at the forum and registered it on January 17, 2017.

And of course, this forum is where I want to carry out my activities as a trader. But over time I also tried a number of efforts and joined the campaign and the results I got were used for my needs and capital. Maybe this is a short story why I am here, and hopefully the presence and contribution that I made today can help other users.
4760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 28, 2020, 04:56:22 PM

Dont force yourself too hard to oppose the rules that have now been published and applied to the whole world in dealing with covid-19. Everyone today feels bored because staying at home is not their habit for a long time even if only a few days. Something that is too forced usually will not be good, please follow the advice of the authorities there and hope you are always safe and start testing some online gambling sites instead.
