4741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Clipboard hacking restarted again on: November 25, 2019, 03:53:36 AM
Thank you for bringing this into my notice, I have been very careful with my laptop while browsing I hardly click or download any software online or click on any ads based on some the stories I heard as regards hackers using malware to steal information and other sensitive documents, Clipboard hacking has become the latest in vogue in cybercrime now I would now ensured I thoroughly check any address of wallet or the address of the recipient of bitcoin or ethereuem.
4742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an example for a successful ICO launched on Stellar on: November 24, 2019, 01:22:32 PM
Hi all,

I really like the Stellar blockchain, and was thinking about basing my own project on this chain.

Just wanted to know if anybody knows of a cool example for an ICO based off of the Stellar network.

Cheers,
buhrmi
I think you should go with the popular network which is ethereum smart contract which I believed is the best and widely used for most the projects in cryptoshpere although there are stellar, Trx etc which are not so popular, any bug on your project can easily be fixed or rectify because of availability of experienced developers in that aspect as for stellar I wouldn't know how proficient are the experts in that field.
4743  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much can bitcoin cost in Future. on: November 24, 2019, 08:20:00 AM
The growth in the price of bitcoin in the future is subject to some regulations and bans imposed on it by some countries eg the recent clamp down on some exchanges in china had really affected the price to a downtrend, this and many more are likely going to be imposed in the future by countries unfriendly cryptos, however all these bottleneck wouldn't deter the price cost of it because as its popularity soar a lot of investors will invest in it and bearing in mind that the more the hodlers the scarce it becomes thus increasing its value as per its price.
4744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 24, 2019, 07:23:38 AM
Personally I battle fear and emotion when gambling however since I changed my mindset to gambling with the amount of money I can afford to loss then I overcome those fears, i.e mindset controlled  I just gamble for fun now knowing fully well that whatever money I made from it is extra income to buy some little stuffs I also took time to analyze my bettings just to avoid betting blindly although it is a 50:50 chance nevertheless I play it with a set rules.
4745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One solid reason that I came across for the need of BitCoins. <Be Your own Bank> on: November 24, 2019, 06:20:13 AM
That is why people are keeping away from banks. They are stealing people's money. Imagine you are saving your money in a bank with a little interest, banks use your money to lend it to other people with a high interest and collateral, and if this people cannot pay they will take away their property and giving people a little interest for their deposits, charging excessive fees for their services.
But the purpose of using the bank is to obtain a valid statement of account document according to the OP which would be use to secure his visa we all agreed that banks are using every possible means to make unnecessary charges from their customers, the US embassy would not recognized bitcoin transaction ID as a valid document for securing Visa thus the purpose of using a bank is justified for now.
4746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Continues Downfall in Bitcoin Circulation threating traders on: November 23, 2019, 11:16:28 PM
There is no need to entertain any as far as the lost Bitcoin is concerned I understand that you are overwhelmed with the huge amount of Bitcoin missing which you think it would have a drastic implications to traders nevermind the missing Bitcoin could as a of result of hodlers not getting access to them due to loss password or death of the owner invariably this would not affect the price of Bitcoin
4747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 23, 2019, 11:55:59 AM
So anyone willing to risk it with me by picking Chelsea as the winners in regards to their match against Manchester city. Supposedly it was last season, i won't have had the courage to do this but this season, Manchester city are under performing (already lost three games in just 12 games played) meanwhile Lampard is performing above expectation. Currently Chelsea are the only team in the league with 5 straight wins in the last 5 games.

The odds are against Chelsea but it isn't an impossible task to achieve. We aren't going to Etihad to defend but to attack. Defending hasn't been our straight this season so the best chance we have is by scoring as much goals as possible them to try to defend the goals. In my opinion, this match would be full of goals atleast 5 goals. Prediction: Chelsea 3:2 Manchester city.
I also expect and backing Chelsea to win this match against their opponent today Man City had been under performing so far this season I want Chelsea to capitalize on their opponent lack of form to defeat them so to avenge their pouncing and bashing of 6-0 last season I believe this is a pay back time for Chelsea which is very possible, they should just attack from the first minute of the game knowing that Man City defense is very porous due to injuries suffered by some of their key defenders I also expect a lot of goals in the match.
4748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Trading competition good way to earn money? on: November 23, 2019, 08:07:45 AM
In forex trading competitions the stringent rules and regulations for competitors always makes it hard for them to win the competitions from my point of view I believed its better for a good trader to personally source for funds and invest in a reputable exchange and engage in trading rather than embanking on the stressful trading competition whose outcome might not be fruitful and time wasteful.
4749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 23, 2019, 06:32:52 AM
I think IEO and ICO, many of them are scam so its hard to say it will take longer of time. After bounty tokens distribution all of those coins automatically dump, and cant follow the main price of their coin.
I believed we should also blame some investors too who invest in those ICOs and IEOs They are always after the juicy bonuses churn out during pre-ICO not minding the viability, reliability and credibility of that projects while the team of those ICOs are after money invariably after raking in millions of fund they would run in thin air thus the project becoming scam this had been painting investing in cryptos in a bad light.
4750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 23, 2019, 03:36:36 AM
Mourinho mostly thrives of expensive transfers. It would be interesting to know how Tottenham's transfer activity changes now that he is their coach. If they get busy in the transfer market and buy players then i think Mour can turn them into a cup winning team.
Isn't that what every big coach in the game today does, pep had a horrible first season, he made the club buy exactly the players he needed, and he was able to win the EPL back to back. You cannot perform well as a coach if you do not have the players to play your style. Spurs hardly spend money during transfer windows, but the audacity alone to make mou the second highest earning coach in the world means they are ready to spend as much as city and other big teams in the next transfer window(not in January though)

Another thing is, it will be interesting to see the calibre of players Mourinho would be able to convince to come play for spurs, we all know Spurs are not so much among the elite. If Mou is in a team like Madrid/chelsea or United, he can attract for example a player like Pogba, but in spurs can be do the same?
Gone are the days when football clubs used to boast of the quality of their very own Academy bred players, Nowadays everyone is seemingly buying players, because of the immense competition in football leagues nowadays, no one really has the time to wait on players from their own Academy to go to the senior side. Now they just use a few homegrown players and buy the ones that they lack.
Coach Frank lampard had really tried in this regard having drafted or promoted some Chelsea academy prodigies to the main squad, the likes Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham had really lived up to expectation so far this season, kudos must be given to their coach for taking such a drastic measure this would  encourage other talented young players in the academy to improve on their performance, while reducing the cost of buying other expensive players.

4753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to the Ceo of coinbase 1 BTC can actually change your life. on: November 22, 2019, 12:19:31 PM
I wouldn't dispute the fact by coinbase Ceo that hodling 1 BTC could change the hodler's fortune or life, if early investors could endured and hodl for a long term fortunately or luckily for them 2107 was a remarkable year for those hodlers, I also foresee another great opportunities for the present hodlers as the the demand for bitcoin grows and becomes scarce in the future invariably its price would pump to a new highest high.
4754  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for current bloodbath on: November 22, 2019, 10:27:33 AM
I don't know the reasons and there's no need for me to know what's driving the market into this continuous dump. Let us not forget that early this year the price quickly jumped so this might be the turn over for that run. It's not favorable and lovely to see the charts because the market keeps on flushing down. If the end of the year isn't going to give us the Christmas that we would want to see, then it's fine. We can move forward to the next year.
Personally I believed this just the normal price action looking back or referenced to last year price behavior of bitcoin the price drop before the end of the year going low as $3300 before the price recovered later, I am of the opinion that the same scenario is about to play I don't believed that some whales are manipulating the price or the rumored closing down of binance office in china is sole responsible for the dump in the price of bitcoin.
4755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: November 22, 2019, 05:47:12 AM
Investors are now diversifying their portfolio into trading bitcoin, ethereum, BCH, these are well established cryptos that are very profitable in a long run unlike the already moribund ICOs or IEOs that had become a fraudulent ways or methods by which project developers scam investors, I believed, the era of investing and earning good profits in ICOs is gone for good, although the over all bearish trend of the crypto market had not been helping matters hopefully the turnaround of the market might create another opportunity for ICOs.
4756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CHART 2016 VS 2019 on: November 21, 2019, 02:51:33 PM
If history would repeat itself with respective to the price of bitcoin then we are in for another bullish run based on the technical analysis of the OP my concern is that as we are approaching the end of the year hodlers might withdraw or exchange some of their bitcoin to fiat so as to buy stuffs for Christmas invariably might lead to fall in the price of bitcoin implying that the price might likely defies the TA.
4757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Way to Make Money with Crypto? on: November 21, 2019, 05:51:04 AM
Better still freelancing is another way to earn cryptos although it requires some skills especially programming while some requires little efforts in learning like Graphic designing, there a lot of sites where services offered by a freelancer is paid with cryptos notable among the site is xbtfreelancer.
Filling of mrai and captcha is not longer profitable and worth all the efforts and time used in working on them to earn satoshis is wasteful unlike before.
4758  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 21, 2019, 04:36:19 AM
I sourced for fund to invest in bitcoin from a small business although the profits from that business is not much nevertheless I invested with it, I also invested the bitcoin earned via participation in signature campaigns here also I participated in some bounties whose tokens after listing I exchanged to bitcoin for investment however I do sell some bitcoin to fiat for some reasons best known to me.
4759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick Noob Question about Traders on: November 21, 2019, 12:57:32 AM
I have 1.8 btc in total from two different trading sites. Its stored there. On somedays the websites work and is fully operational. hustrade.com and waxcoins.com

Does it have to do with server?

I know I might be answerings this question for myself, but it never hurts to ask.
I can deduce from your post about the servers of those exchanges not functional at times well this is a warning signal that their server might go off completely someday thus your hard earned bitcoin would have gone with it, as a trader withdraw your bitcoin to a reputable and trustworthy exchange based on your research in this forum at least your bitcoin would be safer although its not advisable to store your coins in an exchange
4760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: November 20, 2019, 02:44:41 PM
a long time ago, bitcoin has always been the top crypto. in addition, the world is also more aware of developments in bitcoin compared to other cryptos. it is evident from the price, we know that the price achieved by bitcoin today, starting from the number 0. because of this, bitcoin is the king of crypocurrency.
The dominance of bitcoin in the cryptosphere is well deserved and despite all every efforts by other cryptocurrencies like ethereum to undermine its dominance had hits a brick wall thus it continue to wax stronger partly due to its huge capitalization and large volume traded daily, of course investors sees bitcoin as a safe haven that worth investing on based on its trust and nobody is behind its project which can lead to it manipulation.
