4761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake Tokens on: May 17, 2021, 12:50:01 AM
Let's assume i have created a game, and then created ERC tokens (Example swords) so the player must buy a token to be able to play the game.
What if someone creates similar tokens in his wallet and injects them into my game as if they are bought from my tokens store Huh
Thats impossible if the platform only were able to read smart contract the game designert that has been program. Yes they could make fake tokens but real projects with use case doesn't even tainted with a copy pasted gaming blockchain.

He can have fake one or fool some on trading byy not in the use case of a project. People should always check if they have the same contract address
4762  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: That feeling having your first merit on Bitcointalk on: May 17, 2021, 12:20:38 AM
I pledge to Bitcointalk to always create value to it's forum now and always. Amen.🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thanks
Congrats. Its bit early but we must encourage those newbies to extend their faith on creating and posting quality post. You are still long way to go, but Im sure with that spirit and confidence you can make merits and rank up in the future.

Just don't mind people that have some negaitve comments on your posting. That's normal that you get corrected and saw some opinions against yours and you'll see a lot of that here in forum. Dont get swayed, I've see some bounty registration on your account but that's fine, I am a hunter too, before but I have found a way to pass that and gain merits. Listening and tryimg to figure out your mistakes is always healthy. Good luck on your journey here.
4763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to spot common Bitcoin scams and avoid them on: May 16, 2021, 12:10:35 PM
I would like to add telegram chat by strangers. At first they will try to talk to you and become interested on some deal or transactions. Then as you preoccupied with the topic his engaging his started to penetrate by inserting words such as exchange, transfer, cash out. Anything that leads to to withdrawal and even trying to fake that he is in need of help. These are all type of scams, and much netter to hit the block or directly delete message.
4764  Other / Off-topic / Re: Recovery for Google Authenicator on: May 16, 2021, 08:27:21 AM
No, you didn't understand me... I said that CEX support staff can disable user's 2FA without any code. I guess it's just a checkbox in some database. However, I have never needed that so I don't know if that's possible. I read few times that people got their 2FA disabled by the support staff.
On what grounds does the centralized exchange can possibly disable it for you. Like of course this should do a strict verification before allowing it to be disable as this could compromise account if fall on the wrong one just in case someone disguise as you and asking for it
4765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What percentage of investment BTC vs ETH on: May 16, 2021, 03:42:54 AM
If you were going to invest in both BTC and ETH what percentage would you put into each?  At the moment I have 100% in BTC but am thinking of diversifying.

Are there a couple of others that you would suggest should get some of that percentage, such as DOGE or something else? If so, what percentages?
All the top 10 projects are worth to invest with. You can also try to put some on matic, ada, fantom, solana and Avalanche. Amongst these projects, avalanche is the most youngest but we're able to catch up with the old timer marketcap. It seems ada, and matic are now moving so I suggest to divert into these like fantom and avax rather than, bitcoin or eth, but I'm still holding a bag of eth of course.
4766  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefit yourself, not fear on: May 15, 2021, 10:58:04 PM
Encouraging yourself is okay but as a newbie you should read a lot first here and search topics first for a theme or idea that you think could already exist. That's how forum works. Sometime there are existing topic already and we must just comment on that thread instead of creating new ones to avoid redundancy and repetition. But it's okay if the old thread is outdated that much.

However, for topic like this,  you must make sure that you add value to either bitcoin or forum. Anyway just a reminder mate. Cheers.
4767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help with erc20 contract code with 2% toknomics on: May 15, 2021, 10:22:37 AM
i would like easy template to work with with toknomics most template are without if someone could help out
Tokenomics? You mean the number of supply and its breakdown. You can search each project on coingecko or coinmarketcap. You can see there their tokenomics. Usually it has breakdown of usage, supply, allocation and percentage of token metrics.

Tokenomics sample.

Team token 10%
Private sale 15%
Public sale 30%
Advisor        10%
Marketing     15%
Future dev fund 10%
Bounty and airdrop 5%
Listing fee 5%

This is just a sample.

4768  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Road to Hero! A challenge to self, and challenge to yours! on: May 15, 2021, 05:30:00 AM
I'm sure whether how long it is you would get those merits to rank up to hero member. No need to rush mate, just act normally and merits will come your way. Some are right, you are putting pressure to yourself to earn those merit. Ive been within that situation where I'm close to that and I understand how eager you are but trust me, just keep posting quality and good response and will let you arrive on that naturally. Congrats it advance mate, I know you can make it.
4769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reversal Psychology ! on: May 14, 2021, 09:29:50 AM
When you heartfully thank for what you get then probably you may not go greedy further; when you are not feeling grateful and then not showing gratitude, you will definitely become more greedy which is the point your emotions are getting more power to control you.
Thats right. It is only applicable if you arent satisfy enough. This is sometime a gamble to oneself. Everyone came to this point where they are asking themselves should I go for it or not? Then if something good happened. DAMN I should have done it. But when something bad occur, shit good thing I didn't insist on doing it. There's gonna be chain of possibility but if you fully decide 100% then having regrets are not an option whether we gain little that should be bigger when we dumped earlier.
4770  Other / Off-topic / Re: Recovery for Google Authenicator on: May 14, 2021, 08:46:29 AM
If you are using Google 2FA for CEX (centralized exchange) logins, maybe you can contact their support and have them remove 2FA for your account.
Is this possible? How about if just in case you only have your phone to do the kyc and the public key weren't save somewhere else? How you gonna disable the 2fa cause even disabling it needed 2fa codes right?

I'm also quite interested with this, not yet ready for some incident where in any case I've loss my phone and what to do with the case I've mentioned.
4771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Avalaunch launches tokens on pangolin dex on: May 14, 2021, 06:14:36 AM
Has anyone noticed the launch of xava tokens? Their private and seed sale which was price at $0.035 has begun trading peaking at $3.50 and now currently at $1.90 being stable at this level.

https://medium.com/avalaunch/pangolin-listing-private-sale-distribution-638c170858ae

In my opinion, any project associated with Avalanche network would likely to have a good start.

Its like 100x during first trades and now at 50x which is still profitable.
4772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is investigated by the IRS - BNB fell sharply today from $660 to $540 on: May 14, 2021, 05:47:39 AM
I see the news but this wouldn't let the coin go down that much. There are so much supporters of Binance and we can't deny how big their market and they are the number 1 exchange amongst all famous centralized big boys.

I've been seeing some burst from ada and even doge have their own pacing, it seems the market are being segregate and its up to you which league you gonna join.

Im not a bnb holder but I can sense that CZ can easily surpass this allegation eh even didn't consider it as problem.
4773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to tell when to dump an entire project/coin? Overall gain loss... on: May 14, 2021, 04:11:32 AM
That's depend on your belief actually. I think coin has potential and you can see it if they have it. The best way is always to hold portions of that coins whatever it is. Cause we don't know what progress or development or any kind of surprises that coin might pull.

Thats my regret when I am taking profit to left some bags of those coins that could literally give me more fortune. Its not advisable but can also dumped barely but that's a risk we could always wager on crupto industry.
4774  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The urge to quit on: May 13, 2021, 03:42:48 AM
It all started when I decided to learn about how to trade. things was very hard with me, I had to sell few of my property to enroll for trading class.
This is what you called perseverance. You risk some of your property just to enroll on a trading lesson and that's one thing a risk taker will ever decide in his life. Salute to you mate, not everyone have that courage and engagement to even sell soemthing valuable to learn on a trading.

I remember when CZ says he sold his house for Bitcoin or crypto then that's something shocking isn't it? Now where he is. Never quit, but learn to accept mistake if you ever encounter one.
4775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I swap my BTC to altcoins and hold for better benefits? on: May 13, 2021, 02:59:03 AM
I think we shouldn't expect more and more from those alts. Bitcoin price may increase quickly in upcoming days. It would be better to invest fresh money in altcoins rather than swapping bitcoin into alts.
Im not saying that on those altcoins but you can also venture to those new projects that are going to come out like casper, clover, dfinity, truebit, flare, symbol and new major altcoins that will enter the market. I think these new projects have chance to do a good run this 2021. Just my opinion, you can do your due diligence.
4776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dfinity/ICP Speculation thread on: May 13, 2021, 02:06:02 AM
I got 239 ICP from their airdrop back in 2018. Price target over $1k, Not really sure how it works but sounds interesting (The internet computer) people are talking about it being #3 already! I doubt that though. but it looks like It will remain 400-500 USDT range for now.
Congrats mate. That's a good amount of airdrops, if the price stays the same and or increase you already hit a jackpot but of course its locked and vested but the project is good SO I don't think it will dump easily. There are some wjo dumped already for free money and that's normal but those who trust will definitely gain more as ICP development move forward.
4777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Staking or not to stake, kraken? on: May 13, 2021, 01:19:15 AM
Yup, we should always be careful about our assets. If LP is lost, I have never heard of it, but if an asset is exploited by a contract I often hear about it and an Indonesian member in this forum is one of the victims.
Probably it will only resort to being scam. There is a project called forcedao their Vault got exploited and what happened was the token got dumped really hard like super dump. So the team decided to change to new tokens and give Snapshot to those who have been affected and don't to those who abuse or buy the token at super low.

So better watch some staking platform. Doing 3 farming at the moment 2 on bsc and 1 on Fantom chain, superbly ni sign of exploitation so far.
4778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New meme coins 😂😂😂 on: May 12, 2021, 08:16:02 AM
Memecoin are just typically a hype coins of course those who bought those know the risk of being toast ocne it got rugged or you know fall their liquidity. It's just a matter of staying strong.

More projects gonna explode on those meme and literally forgot the value of fundamentals on the use case projects. We should wait when the fundamental will return and those investors will get tired making money from meme coins.
4779  Economy / Reputation / Re: Rest In Peace Becky666 on: May 12, 2021, 07:24:52 AM
Not really know him but I always noticed his post and comment on some threads I've used to post. It's sadden to know that one of forum users past away like this. Well we can't really grasp what possible things might happened. But I'm sure the Nigerian community will never forget the contributions the user to his local community. Farewell and rest in peace.
4780  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bilaxy.com SCAM on: May 12, 2021, 02:40:02 AM
Surprisingly, the sequential withdrawal for smaller amount did work. How come is that possible, what's going on???
Probably based on the normaan0 attached photo. Actually I didn't know that they had KYC already, cause before I used this exchange and was able to withdraw my funds without any hassle.

Maybe because it was a small amount like what you said. But your case 3k isn't small so that's why. But that's negative on their side if they banned you or doesn't react to support your inquiry at all. Smells like it's gonna be scam soon.
