Time to move on from previous event drama to UFC Fight Night Makhachev vs Moises, and people are calling Islam Makhachev to be new Khabib.
He has one defeat against Adriano Martins but this was way back in 2015 and I think he is much better and complete fighter now.
Thiago Moises is a great fighter but I think that style of Makhachev is not good for him and I saw him losing against Damir Ismagulov and Beneil Dariush in UFC,
outside of UFC he also lost from Robert Watley and Jason Knight but I never watched that fights.

One more fight is canceled for Bellator 262 that is starting in two days, Roman Faraldo withdrew from his fight against John Ramirez because of his family situation.
It is not clear if Bellator will find some last minute replacement fighter to fight against John Ramirez.
Matt Mitrione vs Tyrell Fortune moved to co-main event and I think that Fortune is clear favorite in this fight like odds suggest.
Mitrione is much older fighter and with 43 years and 3 defeats in last four fights with one no contest, I don't see any chance for him in this fight, while Fortune have only one defeat in his pro carrier.

Dustin Poirier proved that is is two classes about trash egoic Conor McGregor with his death threats, and if I was in place of Dana White I would not give him rematch fight, because he does not deserve it.
Like Khabib said few days ago, if Dustin and Conor meat 100 times all 100 time Dustin will win easily, and everyone is now of Dustin side.
All his money earned means nothing now and his reputation is ruined forever.

I don't know if it's already been posted, but Crypto.com has signed a (what I think is a very large) advertising deal with the UFC.
Is there so much money involved in this combat sport that it is profitable for Crypto.com? The UFC several such large sponsorship deals?
Crypto.com com invested crazy amount of money in so many sports including UFC and Formula One, so I hope it benefits both sides and promoted Bitcoin and crypto to more people. Just as I expected, Dustin wins in first round and I got my triple winning bet from Stake I didn't see anything special from Conor and he would lose even if he didn't break his ankle, so I see no reason in making them fight again like Dana White is saying, but I guess he want's to milk this for money as much as he can. What I didn't expect in this fight card is to see Tai Tuivasa and Gilbert Burns winning their fights. |
