4761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high do you see Ethereum going this market cycle? on: December 16, 2020, 07:11:12 PM
I would say the logical part would be going towards 1k first, the market is great and all but to talk about 5k before it can even reach to 1k would be not serious and we need to be serious about these type of topics. If you really really want to make money, just get 32 eth or more and just stake it, eventually you will have money and keep reinvesting your profits to it to keep making more profit and remove all other logic from your mind.

However if you really want to trade it, and buy right now to sell later to make money, know that 5k is not possible right now, it is not even at 1k right now. First we need to let bitcoin go up as much as it can, and then sell it when it stops and move to ethereum, which will start to increase and after that we can talk about only 1k, not even more.
4762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black - Legit or not ? on: December 16, 2020, 03:42:56 PM
Unfortunately there are tons of bitcoin forks everywhere and they are rarely ever good, I understand that people may think it is actually decent and they may make some money from them but most likely outcome is losing money over long period of time. Do not get me wrong I am not against bitcoin black specifically, I do not believe that bitcoin cash nor BSV is good neither, they are both very bad and over long course of months or even years they will go down too, they haven't so far but that doesn't mean it won't in the future neither.

Hence why I believe it is quite useless for me to invest into ANY fork of bitcoin, which includes bitcoin black too. Try to avoid things that are trying to promote themselves based on bitcoins popularity and the price of it and adoption of it.
4763  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: December 16, 2020, 11:15:49 AM
I guess some people mistake investment and business. Normally if you have a business and you want to get it bigger you can get a loan, obviously it is still quite risky, you are taking out a loan and if your business is not doing well you are going to screw up big time and crash.

I know someone who had 1 million dollar loan from bank to renovate the business just before the pandemic, he says it was both good and bad, it was good because nobody else was making money neither so they didn't lose customers for down time, he was scared about that at most, but it is obviously bad because the small part that works that he intended to keep the costs low became useless, so he lost more than he assumed but he started to make everything back and then some after it was over.
4764  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin for “Fake Rich”? on: December 16, 2020, 10:01:34 AM
Honestly "fake rich" has been a thing before crypto as well, it could be part of it nowadays but that doesn't mean there was a problem with fake-rich people after crypto neither, nor there is a problem with crypto.

So, I would have to say just like how tesla wasn't made to look like you are rich, it was build because it was electric and it would be a lot more helpful for the world instead of using basically oil in the end, so all I can say is the fact that people are looking at bitcoin differently and they could promote how "rich" they are with it if they want to, but when they fail to actually spend that kind of money, it will turn out that they are not rich at all and their whole ruse will come to an end, don't know how long they can continue with it but they totally can.
4765  Economy / Economics / Re: JPMorgan - bitcoin may find an additional demand of $600B on: December 15, 2020, 02:51:51 PM
Just because companies are getting more and more involved with crypto doesn't mean it will always be like this, I think it just means we are going to see these kinds of days a bit more frequently but it is not going to be additional 600 billion dollars marketcap, it will be a lot less.

There was a test that calculated around 100 million dollars is enough to make bitcoin go 1% higher all by itself, obviously there are market movements and sometimes 100 million dollars would have a bigger impact depending on the market, but on a break even day where bitcoin doesn't move much, that is the secret number. This doesn't mean if you buy 500 million dollars it will go up 5%, it will be probably more, or sell 500 million and go down 5%, they create a wave of buys or sells, but this is the break even change number.
4766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself from Hyperinflation with DAI on: December 15, 2020, 12:48:15 PM
Obviously you are going to pick a stablecoin to protect yourself against hyperinflation in another nation, but what will the people of USA do? What happens when dollars become something inflated?

I understand that they keep showing you lower and lower increase in inflation but I do not believe them, I look at how much expensive life was just 10 years ago when I started working and I look at it now and I can honestly tell you that it feels like prices increased 50% during that time, maybe not simple stuff but most other stuff.

Hence I think DAI is not the solution, sure it is great if you live in a nation where dollar is valuable and if you want to protect your wealth by keeping it at dollars, but that only works if you live in a third world country and nowhere else.
4767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get VIP Signals? on: December 15, 2020, 12:12:45 PM
Unfortunately a lot of people get scammed because they are looking to be scammed, I have seen a ton of people who were not idiots, not morons, very smart people who were scammed not because they were fools enough to believe scammers, but because they helped scammers, as in they were looking to get scammed themselves and convinced themselves to get involved and ended up getting scammed.

This is why I think it is quite obvious that when you are looking for some VIP signals, you are going to get scammed, it is not an old idea and it is obvious that everyone talks about how VIP signals are a bad way to make money and mainly scammers, yet people are still going for it, looking for it, with the hopes of "maybe this one is really good" and they get scammed there too.
4768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual/Practice Trading on: December 15, 2020, 09:45:03 AM
Definitely this will get you better, nobody can deny that, because in virtual trading world you are learning how to get better and you are doing it without losing your real money. However, there are few things you should be very careful about. For example, if you are trading with the knowledge that you are not spending any of your real money, you may end up being a lot more fearless and do trades without actually caring about the result, and if you get lucky and make a profit, you may think you are a good trader but that was all because you acted fearlessly since it was free money.

I would trade as if it is really your money, trade as if they will give you that money if you profit, otherwise you will lose. Secondly and more importantly if you end up profiting, do not think that you will do exactly same on real life neither, you should be careful.
4769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any ideas for traiding bot on: December 15, 2020, 06:17:13 AM
There are already a million bots out there, there is no better bot neither because each have their own strengths and weaknesses but the reality is that they are not really that great even when they are at high level because market is the one that helps you profit or not.

The bad side of bots is that when market is on a bear run you are trading 7/24 with it and that means it will buy or maybe even sell during a bear market period and you will end up losing some money.

Whereas if you end up actually using during the bull run period, you are going to realize that it does make a lot of money because it is trading 7/24 on something that is always profiting. Only very later you realize that if you traded during bull run you could have made money yourself as well so there is no benefit.
4770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 14, 2020, 07:42:06 PM
Vosk is doing great thanks to youtube money but sometimes I feel like he creates topic names or video names more likely, just to get attention. I understand that he needs to be watched and viewed and that is why he does this, but the reality is that we should not really look for getting more and more views just with clickbait titles.

Look at defi world right now for example, it is as lively as it gets and it is making as much profit as you could hope for, with the defi systems giving people staking or other methods of passive income as well I do not think that people will stop investing into it, I get that it may look that way to some people because the huge hype is gone but we are at a sustainable level where it is still quite very valuable and profiting a lot of people.
4771  Economy / Economics / Re: Consumer Inflation Still Nowhere to be Found on: December 14, 2020, 05:27:25 PM
Honestly there is not much money to be spent right now, hence why prices are not going up this year, I understand that economy should be going lower because things are looking bleak and bad however reality is that we live in a world where not that much work is being done, meaning not much production is being done and also not many people spend money or can spend money on stuff.

Hence at the end of the day we are living in a world where inflation either can't happen since if you increase the prices a lot there won't be anyone who can buy it, or if you keep increasing the price that means inflation will be very high and you are going to live in a Venezuela like nation which USA will not be. Plus look at inflation numbers in other nations, there are some with a lot of inflation too, not every nation stayed low.
4772  Economy / Economics / Re: Sweden Explores Moving to a Digital Currency on: December 14, 2020, 11:45:11 AM
First of all we do not need bitcoin to grow rapidly and be accepted everywhere around the world in order to be happy about these news. What do you think we are expecting from nations, suddenly make bitcoin their national currency?

The good part is, if nations start to use blockchain technology that would make things a lot better, obviously politicians are as corrupt as it comes in many nations of the world so they will not want blockchain tech, where one nation shares where all the taxes are going, whereas a corrupt nation can't do that so they will postpone this as long as possible. However as long as blockchain technology is utilized in a good way from governments I will be happy about it, I do not need bitcoin to be super high thanks to nations, I just want crypto to get more love.
4773  Economy / Speculation / Re: So contrary to the Cult of Hodl, apparently at highs, people don't hold? on: December 14, 2020, 08:48:48 AM
At highs, people do not hold that much, and I can honestly tell you that we are not going to suddenly change the fact that we will not have highs, but it doesn't change the fact that we do not have lows neither. So, what the holders are simply saying is that, buy low whenever you can and hold as long as you can, if you want to sell at a high that is nearly at all time high, those are not bad places to sell even for a holder, if you want to hold more and prices will continue to grow that is even better, but do not sell at low levels neither.

I have seen people who bought at $10k and sold at $12k for example, do not do that because those are not highs, those are just some small increases. So, the misunderstanding here is the fact that you d onot need to make that kind of return at all if you could just wait.
4774  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that the price of bitcoin is going to exceed 20,000$? on: December 13, 2020, 09:12:52 PM
Honestly looking at how bitcoin already broke over $19k once again, we are in a situation where nothing is guaranteed anymore. I can tell you that bitcoin could break over $20k finally and be done with this waiting, which will be a period where we will not know if it will go under $20k again or go higher, or I can tell you that we will drop again just like we did the last 4 times we broke over $19k too.

Both of those options are quite possible, usually when price gets stuck and can't move down or up in any direction and just goes between two spreads like this where it moves between $19.5k and $17k and doesn't go under $17k or over $19.5k that means we are going to eventually have a HUGE movement. I don't know where the next movement will be but I can guarantee you it will be bigger than 20% for sure.
4775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 13, 2020, 06:43:43 PM
I do not really stick to a certain pair list and only trade with them, but I do have a certain pair list that I trade without limiting myself to it. I don't know if I was capable of explaining myself clear enough, I have certain pairs that I enjoy and trade constantly but I also have a lot of new things that come out and I haven't heard of them before and I start to trade them as well.

Like for example, I didn't traded wave for a long time and in the end one day I decided to do it and made some profit and got out and now I am not trading it, that is an example of me not trading with certain coins and limit myself to them, however at the same time I have been trading on ethereum for years and haven't given up on it, still collecting and accumulating as much as I possibly can.
4776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price risk? on: December 13, 2020, 04:06:53 PM
I do DCA and it helps me get better results in the long run. Obviously if you end up buying at low and selling at high you are going to make a much much bigger profit, this way you are buying from low but buying from high as well and you end up with some average price, but this works out much better when price falls and you do not lose too much money compared to other people who constantly bleed out losses during the same period.

If you learn what DCA is and try to mimic that for a long period of time, you will definitely drop the risk to a very low level as well. https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/dollar-cost-averaging . Check this out, it is from binance so you know it is a good source and you could learn everything you need to learn about DCA from here.
4777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) Breaking out on: December 12, 2020, 05:38:47 AM
Ripple dropping nearly 10% this week is the proof that no matter what happens to a coin individually, the general market consensus is more important than its performance. I mean tomorrow is a huge day for ripple and it should be going up like crazy right now from the people who would like to buy ripple to get flare but it is not, why? Because market is not doing well right now.

So that means, the fact that crypto market going down this week is much more impactfull on ripple than what flare could do, and that shows you how insignificant flare will be tomorrow as well, if it can't help ripple go up in price, what can it be helpful with any other way? Hence, I believe crypto market movement in general is much more important than any news any coin could possibly ever have.
4778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto-Gambling Sites are being _ about XRP EVENT tomorrow. on: December 11, 2020, 07:04:23 PM
It is difficult to expect casinos to give out flare, I understand that they may have a lot of XRP on their account and I understand that they will profit from this more than anyone because they have ton of it on their wallets but they basically warned everyone that they are not getting anything by not saying anything.

If you do not want your coins to go to waste, withdraw your money and put it on a place that will give you flare and that way you will profit from it too, if you insist on keeping your money in a casino that hasn't said anything about it and by all accounts will be keeping all the flare without any problems since they didn't promised anything, I would say it doesn't make sense to keep your ripple there. So, it is a situation you can fix by just withdrawing.
4779  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic will bring more economic progress in long-term... on: December 11, 2020, 06:32:24 PM
If we could see more companies going more remote and we see them go more digital, we are probably going to actually see a world that is cheaper as well.

I have always said the same thing and I will keep saying that forever, we do not need to make people richer, we need to make things cheaper, that is the way we could get away from this trouble in economy because if we keep giving people more and more money, that means things will cost more and more as well and when someone doesn't make enough money they will be too poor to continue surviving, whereas if we make things cheaper, we are giving even the poorest people in the world a chance to survive.

This digital world could make that happen, things could cost a lot less and that is why I think it is vitally important to realize the importance of digital world not only helping companies but workers too.
4780  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks going in stable coins news its starting now on: December 11, 2020, 04:59:55 PM
They will probably make some stablecoins that is based on government or a big company and at that point they will be capable of going into crypto a lot easier as well. Think of USDT being backed by the USA government, there would be a lot more trust to it wouldn't it?

Even though we hate the fiat version of USD because it is backed by the government, we could let them control a stablecoin because that is not a must and optional thing and they could ruin it or print as much of it as they want, and in the end as long as people want to use it, they can, and if they do not want to use it they can ignore it. I do not use USDT for example that much, it is an option for me, USD is not like that, people have to use it in USA because that is the only option available in the fiat world.
