4761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 22, 2020, 09:47:30 PM
if their resume, what conference they are going to play? is it still the all filipino?

Probably yes.

I'm browsing TV channels around 17:00 (local time) yesterday and saw a basketball scene. That was on IBC13 and they are airing their news program at that time. They are now on the sports section that's why I saw a basketball image and that was PBA. As per the report, PBA will continue to All-Filipino once it resumed.

As bisdak mention, I doubt PBA will allow imports for now even let's say there is no travel restriction. Governors and Commissioners can be done next year as a fresh start. And besides, one conference takes 2-3 months IIRC including post-conference activity so All-Filipino is the only conference they can play this year.
4762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 22, 2020, 09:19:45 PM
There will be players that wouldn't go for the risk and I guess some teams too..

Didn't you know that the majority of players themselves want to go back and play? So I doubt that the season will be considered to be reset, at least by now. It's difficult to just implement changes without looking at all sides of the square. A big decision that needs a serious approach.

That's why NBA management is working hard since then on what would be the best thing to do.

They are expected to release the guidelines on June 1st about resuming the league. Let's see the product of their brainstorming together with the teams.

A bit off-topic to the subject of the thread but after I send my order, I didn't receive any instruction from my email.

It's just said that I have to save my coupon code.

So what's next? Where's the download link?
The download link is on the Epic games itself, once you have confirmed the order the email that they will send you is just a validation that you have purchased the game for free. It's just a receipt that they will send you.

When you have that, you can download it without any problem.

Maybe what the user meant is about the usual download link in any PC games without the need for a launcher.

In the case of games purchased at Epic Games, users should download first the EpicGames Launcher on their website (same with Steam). After logging in (the email used to purchase the GTA V for free), go to Library and that's where GTA V is located. Install then play.

Anyways, the game alone is 94GB in size just for reference.
4764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: May 22, 2020, 07:27:34 PM
Today there are some people would like to join the world of trading but some of them are going to afraid to lose their money because they don't have enough knowledge. It is not hard to find a lot of information because of the help of the search engines like Google and we have now internet also with the help of the forums and platform that are giving some ideas about the world of trading. I'm not a professional trader I just trade for over a month and here are some of my trading mistakes that the beginners do too.

Honestly speaking, even with the general information spread around our favorite search engines and platforms about the basics of how to start doing trades, it's not easy for a newbie to just follow it.

Sometimes they really need to experienced those trading mistakes and errors in order to understand the pressure. There are no perfect trades so a mistake is usually common. If these newbies are really eager to learn, they can soon come up with an idea of how to deal with the market while at the same time, creating their own strategy based on their analysis.

There is no shortcut here. Experienced is the best foundation.
4765  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🃏💵 Seeking Investors/Partners for new Bitcoin Blackjack Casino 💵🃏 on: May 22, 2020, 07:03:32 PM
I would like to start a casino blackjack website. I have developed the game and the Bitcoin functionality already. It is %100 ready and functioning. I have tested the Bitcoin parts with test and real bitcoins.

If you are looking for investors, you must give them reasons why they should partner with you.

The crypto-gambling world is so vast and the competition is tough that even for a new site with stunning design, large bankroll, good customer support, awesome bonuses, and promotions or anything that gamblers want, are struggling to cope up with the big ones.

Not judging your book by its cover but no investors will likely risk some money for that kind of layout that you want to goes live.

But I see that you have knowledge related about building a gambling site and some concepts of it so like mentioned above, try to look for partners at the Project Development section of the forum. And before going live, change the layout. You can't attract users with that kind of layout.
4766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Games on: May 22, 2020, 06:41:38 PM
Just dying to know which one of the games I mentioned will win the most spectacular game title!

Gamblers have different preferences so I think your Poll about which gambling game on the list is the most exciting will somehow not answer the thing you want to find out.

As for me, I know how to play Blackjack and Poker but I most preferred the latter as I'm addicted to it to the point that I'm also an avid player of another poker game which is Chinese Poker. But Poker is not on the list. The Scratch card game is also interesting although I'm not a fan of playing it if based on online provably fair. For dice, not a typical dice player here but if I'm on winning streak, that makes things more exciting.

So I will skip voting on the poll. Good luck in collecting information.
4767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online gamblers think about their privacy and anonymity? on: May 22, 2020, 06:16:16 PM

KYC is a big "NO" for me especially when it comes to "crypto-online" gambling but I already accept that if ever there will be big winnings, a KYC might surely be asked even it's not on their terms.

Crypto Exchanges and Crypto Gambling platforms are different. For the latter, it shouldn't be a mandatory requirement as it destroyed the purpose of why gamblers choose crypto in gambling.

For fiat gambling, I understand that KYC is needed here. In fact, I'm a verified user in one of the local online casinos here where I submitted my personal credentials.

Bottom line, the reason I shifted to crypto-gambling many years ago is the less hassle way of placing bets, simply register-deposit-bet. Less hassle compare to fiat gambling sites wherein KYC is a must before betting.
4768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 22, 2020, 05:55:06 PM
Casinos can't keep up with the current situation, they must make a profit even at this pandemic, do you think it's possible that some gambling casinos are already into underground casinos, where they only allow their old and trusted clients to play in a place that they provided, could be a mansion or a secluded building, but of course, they will guaranty all the necessary preactions to make their venue safe for their clients.

Underground casinos do exist. But to make it simple, these are simply the illegal gambling place. Not actually the usual underground casinos we have known in the movies that held in a building etc. at most of the cases.

I think I have posted here before that there's illegal gambling that still takes place in our nearby city amid the Covid-19 pandemic spread. But since authorities became more strict during the initial and enhanced version of our lockdown here, the gambling place was shut down and all person involved behind the operation got arrested.

There's also a possibility that some governments will allow it because some casinos are being run by the government or they have a big cut in the revenues.

Disagree. There are legal casinos so why should those illegal casinos be allowed?

They are illegal in the first place meaning they are not complying in the law and hiding behind to pay for taxes. Just because there's a pandemic virus, it's not a reason for this illegal casino owners to just operate freely. It's a big slap to those casinos that are complying and following the law.
4769  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoGamblingNews.com | Bitcoin and altcoin gambling news on: May 20, 2020, 11:53:35 PM
The ads are consuming a large space as it was now looked at as part of the main content. It makes the site not organized. I know that it's important to have ads and you are running an affiliate program but I believed you can think of a way how to properly placed it.
And if you are reading it on mobile it's look more messy because those ads are huge much like a cover of an article. I think it's best for them to just place it on top because too many popping ads are the reasons people avoid such sites especially those who don't have ad blockers.

Agree. Not a mobile user friendly.

But as per OP, they will make sure to work this out properly. Organizing the page together with the ads as they have to pay their journalist that's why ads are placed like that.

Yes, we will be adding more casino reviews over time to that section of the website, as well as reporting on news from these casinos.

Are there any particular casinos you would like to see added?

All casinos with 1,000+ replies on this section would be nice and if your staffs have time. Smiley Although no need for further reviews on those reputable sites, it's a good feature.

Take note that 1,000+ replies or anything is just a reference since this shows that thread are active. Obviously, as a news and review creator, it will be easy for you to check if the site is worth to give a review.
4770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the best online resources to learn the divergence strategy? on: May 20, 2020, 11:38:10 PM
1- One is Coinigy. It's the second time I heard about this platform and I just checked the homepage. At first glance, it seems more like a way to trade from one place on multiples exchanges. If I'm only beginning day trading and I'm using only one exchange at this time, is there any edge I could get from this platform? ...or should I only look into this when I will be more experienced and want to trade on more than one exchange?

So preferred the kind of trading system that Coinigy offer? It's way more advance but no harm if you want to try it now.

For usual trade, I suggest trading at Binance. Then step up to other trading platforms while you are gaining knowledge along the way.

Either way, your plan is good as long as you understand the basics and the risks associated with doing trades.

2- The second is Forexfactory. This seem to be a excellent community forex traders site with a useful forum. I noticed on the site that there also a sister site called "Crypto Craft" that seems kind of like the same thing but for crypto traders specifically. Are those two sites a major community hub for traders? Are there any other similar sites like those two?

Since both platforms are meant for trading discussions, yes that will be a good community to act as your reference especially if you are on Forex.

For crypto, it's up to you where will you get a reference, either CryptoCraft or Bitcointalk.
4771  Economy / Economics / Re: Did COVID-19 Bring Any Positive Sign? on: May 20, 2020, 11:03:27 PM

The best thing that Covid-19 brings is the lesson to have a financial support in times like this whether we saved a few or lots.

Although there are people who aren't really capable of saving money, the crisis makes them be wiser in doing side income.

Many people are disappointed that their savings got depleted but they didn't realize that without their purpose of saving money back then, they will struggle in a crisis like this where the world is not ready. Money can be earned again after all.

We experienced a thing that we can't imagine and that will make us a better person in terms of managing our financial goals.

Can you PM me the heroes you used both harizen and asu? Or is it allowed as it might be served as a reference by others?

Not a big deal for me but for the stats, I will check if it was recorded in battlefield history because it's Custom game. I honestly don't know if I can check it there even I'm playing the game for long now lol.

Anyways, I will check it once my connection back to normal. It's been 12 hours that my ISP is experiencing a slow loading. I wasn't even able to get the daily rewards yesterday as I can't connect even at other online games that I currently playing (COC, ROM SEA, WOD).
4773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 20, 2020, 10:16:06 PM
Yeah, I agreed there's just 1% possibility that he would come back and play Basketball again.

This is too low, you guys really think he can't make it because you are just giving him 1% chance? lol...

Guys, Lutz was a great player, he was just sidelined because he was injured, but when he thinks he is healthy now, then I guess he can play.
Though he wasn't active anymore but his love for basketball will make him come back, and if ever he won't make it in the PBA, I'm sure he will be given a chance in other league in the Philippines like the MPBL.

Manny is waiting.  Grin

Asu is right. 1% is the possibility of Lutz return to PBA, I even give it a 0% chance. No team showed interest with Lutz when he was placed as an unrestricted free agent by SMB. It took days before Meralco signed him so surely they discussed it to their table first as it was a risky move.

This is not about being a great player but his hip injury and ankle injury are crucial to the point that it needs years of recovery. Maybe in 2017, he still has that interest to commit playing again at 100% but as years pass by, it's just an interest today but not 100% consider. He is not doing any physical activity for many years so it will take time before he will cope up as a player.

At 35 years old, I think he will be fit as a part of team staff instead of being a player.
4774  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best advice for Bitcoin ATH investors ?? on: May 20, 2020, 09:59:03 PM
What advice can you give those who buy Bitcoin at 19k in 2018? Because I still have friend who got in at that time, now he doesn't have the mind to sell and take his loss, what is the best advice to pass unto someone in this situation??

HODL.

Literally, they aren't still in loss unless they will sold it. Your friend managed to bear the hard and painful period of seeing bitcoin losing its value so why this should be a problem. If I'm your friend, I already assume that as a loss back in 2018 and will just remain those coins untouchable until now while on the way, I do some accumulation at any chance.

Unless your friend needs money, to the point that it will be used into something really important, that's the time selling should be considered. But if your friend can extend his patience and not necessarily a big deal to just continue holding it, then much better.
4775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Effect of the Bitcoin Halving on Online Casinos on: May 20, 2020, 09:38:53 PM
..why online gamblers would use Bitcoin gambling platforms more because of the halving.

Honestly, not with the halving but are these online gamblers (literally a gambler outside crypto) really interested to try bitcoin itself?

As we all know, the adoption is still, no doubt, not that big so before these gamblers will shift into bitcoin, the first thing they will ask is "what is bitcoin". They will set aside the halving thing, the moon thing, the rocket thing, etc.

Those listed things in the article are general information about why people should use bitcoin, not just in gambling. But seriously, even with all these positive views, there are people who will stick playing on fiat online casinos compare to crypto casinos.
4776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20K USD again? on: May 20, 2020, 09:00:41 PM
Why or why not?

Instead of asking if ever there will be a possibility for Bitcoin to reach $20,000 again, speculate instead when will this happen.

Both questions aren't answerable but at least it's more interesting to speculate when your dream price will happen.

As far as the bitcoin progress is concerned, it's always possible for Bitcoin to established again another ATH. Of course, it will take time. If you are looking for a technical analysis of why this $20,000+ price should happen again, I think it's not necessary.

I don't know the purpose why you asked that question but if you are the one who bought at the peak, you should be move on by now and already knows what to do after all these years.
4777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: May 20, 2020, 08:39:24 PM
It would not be nice to play all sports matches except tennis competitions without an audience. It is the audience that makes the matches beautiful.
Really, would you watch a Liverpool match without listening to the You'll Never Walk Alone anthem?

That's the part of the new normal. Having a live audience can't just be pushed easily.

For the sake of resuming some leagues, expect that it will be different compare to normal.

After all, the usual live audience ambiance will go back soon once everything is now ok. So better start it slowly.

Billiards don't need a lot of people in a match and the game can be relaxed and keep a distance of 1 or 2 meters if there are committees, opponents playing etc.,

Aside from that, billiards are known to have a calm atmosphere like there is no one watching.

Same with CHESS so I will add this to the list. Literally no need for an audience for this game.

4780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Physical Gambling Casino Simulation through GTA V on: May 19, 2020, 11:42:08 PM
For regular or casual gamers, while at the same time, as a gambler, I think they will found this game as interesting although it's just another game for them and not because they will play this because of simulation to somehow feel the casino experience.

However, for those who are literally a gambler and not a fan of any games of this kind, I also doubt they will test this game for simulation purposes as there are alternatives with real money involved.

This game needs at least a mid-gaming specs for a smooth run.

Just so you know guys it's GTA V and it's free to download with the remaining 2 days in it.

Epic Games Store is offering GTA 5 for free this week

Thank you.
