4761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade btc without kyc on: January 09, 2022, 08:21:23 PM
Finally I’m also going to recommend binance.com, which is already a popular exchange, and they allow you to trade without KYC to an extent. Try to do your own research still and see what you can come up with.
Which year or decade are you still in, mate? The year on your side of the world certainly isn't 2022  Grin

Trading minus KYC verification is history in Binance since last year ( Important Changes About Binance Identity Verification )

seems that he has not trade or use binance in the past months. or has received his notif from binance regarding the compulsory kyc requirement. but anyway, as others have suggested, i can recommend kucoin as they are not requiring kyc. as they reduced their daily limit, still a good choice to look at. so better take this opportunity before they finally make a kyc requirement for all traders.
4762  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Will Bitcoin dip below $40K? on: January 08, 2022, 11:59:40 PM
yes, just for the sake of checking the sentiments from people here .Smiley

i believe we will hit below 40k but it will bounce back. anyone can give their own predictions on this market. so there's no right or wrong answer here. and even if it will dip below 40k, still it is still way above the price level of btc just before the pandemic.
4763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is unsettling, for those who don't have it on: January 08, 2022, 11:00:10 PM
This is the reason why it has been growing so much all these years. More number of people are becoming aware of it and realizing it's potential.
I second that, I also think the benefit of being your own bank has been underrated by quite a lot of people in the past, but due to inflation and dictatorial policies by many governments, quite a lot of individuals and organizations as well are now harnessing the benefits of being your own bank in the Bitcoin network, and also using the network as a hedge to fiat Inflation and other whatnots, I expect the number of Bitcoin users to steadily continue to grow as people begin to discover its benefits till we get to mass adoption.
People would make out some discrimination once they dont even have the slightest idea on whats it all about thats why they could say up those things even though it wasnt right but for those who

are aware on what it is will surely be laughing out since those people doesnt really have any idea and those criticisms might turn out to be a praise later on if they do just tend to look on the brighter side
or simply make out some research first before make out those bad comments.

You would really be saying wrong things even if you dont have much idea on what it is all about.

great to hear the story of the OP. this is only one testament coming from the traditional banking industry, that most of them are against in crypto or btc up until now because they have not experienced yet being in crypto. but more then likely, they will change their perspectives once they tasted what it's to be like when you involve yourself in crypto.
ignorance and lack of knowledge are usually the reason why people don't like a new technology. but try educating them and for sure, they will switch sides.
so yeah, i believe it is only a matter of time before other people who highly criticised btc or crypto to change their minds. but don't force them to change sides, it will be their own time to realise things here because that would be better.
4764  Economy / Gambling / Re: BustabitWin.com | New Crash Game Earning more than you know, Gives 100 bit Bonus on: January 08, 2022, 10:17:03 PM
Aside from the fishy start by using "bustabit" in the name of the website, I did a quick look on the website and I see that the bankroll is huge enough for a brand new website.
The bankroll is almost 3,000btc worth more than a hundred million dollar, can you prove that you won that much in your bankroll?
No need to show it publicly but you may prove it to someone who is trusted in this forum.
Frankly speaking, I do not believe you have that much bankroll because if you have that much then you should have created a better crash game site and innovative name.

wow! about 3kBTC? they are larger than most of the long running casinos here. so yeah, i agree that's a shady start. if he has that amount of money, he can easily purchase at least a curacao gaming license to add credibility, that is, if he is giving true info here. let's wait what's he gonna say about on this matter.
if he doesn't have those amount, maybe, just be transparent and maybe people will prefer that way rather than giving false info.
4765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you use stable coins? on: January 08, 2022, 09:22:42 PM
I maintain a balance of fiat in the centralized exchange as a parking area or reserve to conduct a trade, so I'm not sure what benefit a stable coin could provide over using fiat. Conducting a trade using stable coin pairs is not free--the exchange will still charge fees to conduct a trade in a stable coin, just as it does to conduct the trade in fiat. So I don't see the benefit or purpose of using stable coins, at least for trading.

Furthermore, the vast majority of stable coins seem to be ETH-20 based, so if you want to withdraw from the exchange or move to a different exchange, wow that is going to be expensive!

actually, you are not alone about your worry of holding stablecoin for long period of time. i guess some of the users here also have that kind of instinct that most of these stablecoins are not saying the absolute truth regarding their usd assets backing their stablecoin. as we remember, in 2019, usdt admitted they were not fully backed by usd assets, so right now, do you think they are indeed 100% backed by assets? so one mistake, and we will see these stablecoins going down. but for day to day trading, it may help the trader and using the usdt (trc20) has still the cheapest fee among them. so you can use the trc20 network instead of erc20, that is, if it is available in the exchange.
4766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TX Cost , fees and gas on: January 07, 2022, 11:59:02 PM
Talking about everything 2022 ,BTC tx price, ERC20 and BEP20 tokens.
10-20$ for 1 transactiion fee, even if sending 1$ .
The transaction fees of each network are different. Sometimes, I only need a few cents and under $1 to send around $50 in BTC. Or less than $1 to send using the BSC network. But if that is about ERC20, it is higher than other network fees. the fees will range at least more than $4. And we must also have the least amount in our ERC20 wallets of gwei in order to send the transaction to be available.
Aside that, we must also have certain amount of tokens or coins to send, commonly will be minimum at certain alunt.

we have different options now today. even usdt, you can send it via TRC20, BEP20 or other networks. just check the fees because every exchange has their own fees. or btc, now you can choose other networks aside from the native network. i was in awe when one of the gambling platforms here enabled the withdrawal of btc via bsc network because the fees are really really cheap. but if you go to eth network, of course they are still expensive up until today.
so now i guess, we are having more options because of these rising new networks. we are not confined with erc20 anymore.
4767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elsavador President Predicting $100,000 Bitcoin price looks like another joke on: January 07, 2022, 11:18:52 PM
Everyone has the right to express their point of view. Unfortunately, Naib Bukele is not Elon Musk. Naib Bukele's words did not have the same effect. Rather, on the contrary, the price of bitcoin has dropped dramatically over several days of the new year.
No one can know if bitcoin will reach a price of one hundred thousand dollars and when it will. Bukele's words should be taken simply as a New Year's wish.
I doubt the market moved at all due to his statements, after all while some figures have the power to move the markets on their own, like Elon, the more they use that power the more ineffective it becomes, so the current dip that we are seeing in the market of cryptocurrencies has nothing to do with him, and anyone expecting that somehow his statements alone will be enough to move the market are completely wrong about their expectations.

it may be joke today but who knows sooner or later, btc will indeed reach its 100k value. the difference is it was not achieved last year. but i strongly believe that we still have the chance to reach 100k in the near future.
just think of this example, way back in 2010 or in early days of btc, if someone predicted that btc will attain 50k value, what do you think will be the response of the community? so basically, it is the same. but he should have not said the date or time frame.
4768  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! on: January 07, 2022, 10:16:11 PM
Happy new year Bitcointalkers!

May 2022 be everything you hope it to be, and may all your predictions be 100% accurate! At Futuur we are planning on more markets, more features, and more crowd-powered forecasts. Hope to see you there!
Looking forward for that prosperous new year with Futuur. I’m not expecting that much but I know with this site , you are really capable to have more good updates. Hoping as well to at least have a good marketing campaign this year, that could be a big help as well. Happy New Year Futuur team and bettors! Smiley
That could be good for us if they have more campaign for this year since they started on this forum as well and most probably, they’ll succeed more once they become more active. Futuur is a great site to predict on many category, I’m waiting as well for more updates from them since they are quiet not active last year hopefully they have more surprises for us this year.
^ Signature campaign, contest, and promotion was a great idea to boost your traffic audience and I think, this is what they need at this moment for their gambling casino improvement. As I have noticed, a gambling casino that has run a campaign here is successfully satisfied with the result but yes, it will not have an effect on the spot, it will take time maybe a month or months. Predicting concepts is always good, it brings more excitement while waiting for the result of your prediction.

aside from adding more markets, i do agree that they need to be active also with contests and promotions  because so far, that's what they are lacking here. but great to hear from futuur this year. hopefully, they will show more presence here. because the more active they are here, i guess, more players will be encouraged to play on their site.
hope to see contests that will engage bettors on the site. because right now, the leaderboard is still for the players who are using ooms.
4769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport's betting experience on: January 07, 2022, 09:09:44 PM
The only safe bet are those bets you placed knowing in advance how the match will play out. In other words, you know of the match fixing that will happen eventually hence you bet on the outcome. These patterns that you have found out isn't 100% exploitable, and could not be considered as safe bets because even favorites to win the match sometimes drop off of their game and deliver lackluster performance. While on paper it is a good betting strategy, in practice this will, most of the time, fail since you cannot expect favorites to always cover the odds that were designated to them by the linemakers.
That is exactly the issue, it seems people do not understand that the odds for each match and each kind of bet are not generated by people but by very complex algorithms that take a great deal of factors into account, so it is almost impossible to find an instance in which a particular bet is going to give you profits consistently, as such it is better to not waste our time with something like this as it has no chance to be a profitable strategy over the long term.
Speaking or talking about some consistent profits then this could be possible but of course it would really be still having those losses. What matter most here is that you do able to make profits in the end of the day
but always be mindful that gambling is something that shouldnt really be engaged too much so that you would really make yourself get rid of possible addiction problems.

Bet according to your knowledge and dont tend to go overboard with your limits. Odds is there and analysis should be made off and not just on jumping without any idea in mind
on what you are doing.

definitely there's no safe bets in sportsbetting, there's always at least one factor that will unexpectedly influence the outcome. we can't hold how the player's think and their performance inside the field or arena. but if you find a way how to get better percentage of winnings, then that's good for you. but it will not be applicable to others. also, it doesn't always mean if the odds are low, you have the chance of winning. upsets can always happen at any sport.
4770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 06, 2022, 11:59:14 PM
You are right, the truth is I would like to know what goes through the head of each boxer, if they take this as a great challenge, the case of Magsayo can take a big leap in a big way, to be measured against the greats of boxing, but of course nothing is written and for his part Russell I think he has a much superior preparation, I think that all the time he has been like this, this is a boxer who is characterized by not losing his form or his technique, he has always been active, at least I have seen on the news and on YouTube.

This is a world title fight so both fighters think highly of this fight, Garry Russell is the champion and he wants to preserve his hold and legacy by defending the title and in the case of Magsayo this is the end of a long road to journey to become a champion and if he wins here he can begin another chapter, I'm 100% sure they will be fully prepared for this fight because both fighters have huge respect for each other's skill and power, they are both fully aware of the capability of each other.

a lot are at stakes in both camps so seems that we will see a toe-to-toe fight here. unless, one of them becomes defensive and be very cautious with his movement. this is a make or break for magsayo, so more then likely he is in tight training sched here. but for this match, i guess russell will be favoured by bookies, maybe not so wide but he will get the edge here.
but knowing boxing, remember, last year, we've seen several upsets that we didn't expect to be.
4771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULDN'T THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOKENS BE MORE SUPERVISED ? on: January 06, 2022, 11:32:58 PM
Impossible.

You are suggesting to confiscate the decentralised operations and still use it as decentralised asset.
You can’t control anything that is being made on the blockchain or crypto environment more precisely. These projects and involved teams might control the process, structure and flow of the project as whole but unfortunately we can’t control them on how it should be done.

That’s the whole point of crypto projects. They are free, publicly accessible to develop and manage.

at the end of the day, it is you as a user have the final say on where to invest your funds. as it is not possible for an entity to look over the alt market, it is your job to look over your investments. this is the type of market where everyone can create their own project and leave whenever they want to. as most are anonymous projects it would be your prerogative whether to invest or not on a specific project and you can't blame anyone also whatever the results here
4772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: January 06, 2022, 09:42:56 PM
And the best gauge is to really see the two in the square ring. Ioka did his share with a tough win, so Jerwin should do the same against Martinez. And we just hope that there will be no derailing of the fight and no upset from Martinez.

That's correct, and I think Ancajas here has a tougher opponent and if he beats his opponent then I'll completely be confident that they will beat Ioka as well. No one could really tell what will happen in this fight, the outcome could be different from our expectation but I believe that even if Ancajas will lose, he can still get an opportunity to look for big fights.
Right, he has a tougher opponent in Martinez which is also undefeated and we never heard about him. And that makes him dangerous as maybe Ancajas may have a difficult time adjusting to Martinez style, although I haven't check if there is a fight of him in Youtube that team Ancajas can review and see his stance and style. So they really need to step up and train hard for this one and never underestimate any opponent even if you are the favorite to win the fight.

It will definitely be a big test for Ancajas, however, I believed in Jerwin's capability to still win despite his opponent of a knock out artist and hasn't lost. It could be the same case of Sultan, who is the underdog in his fight and facing a boxer who has a perfect knock out record. But Sultan took everything and on the contrary, knock down that boxer (I forgot his name) en route to a good win in the judges scorecard. So the same might happen in Ancajas here, but this time it might be a knock out victory for him.

It's Caraballo, if my memory serves me right, but we can't compare the two fighters though. Martinez might be a different kind of break of knock out artist, maybe he has a tough chin not like Caraballo that when every time Jonas touches him, he immediately goes down.

But we still want Ancajas to win, no matter what method it was, knock out or thru the judges decision. We need another Filipino in the boxing world to carry the flag.

i am seeing Ancajas has many advantages over Martinez here. that is, if he will take this fight seriously and work on his weaknesses because he has edge already. experience and reach alone is a big factor that will contribute to the outcome of the fight. so if all goes well and no delay or any suspension of the fight, we will see this coming month. when it comes to odds, ancajas will be favoured here.
4773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: January 06, 2022, 07:05:02 PM
Assuming that you have done your examination and you are really certain with regards to the future result of Shiba, you can assign a level of your portfolio to it and pause. We should be cautious with that news since we don't have the foggiest idea about their arrangement with Shiba and don't entice assuming we think it isn't more right than wrong to put resources into Shiba.

business is business, so binance though a known reputable exchange also got their hands on shib because they are after for the income that they can generate on this meme token. have you noticed that if there's a coin, getting popular, sometimes they are not requiring the respective dev to list it but they will do it on their own? we know that listing in binance is quite hard but they will list a coin on their own terms if they are seeing its potential. but what if the shib dev team disappears? i guess binance will be the first one to delist them. so yeah, don't get too confident about their listing in binance.
4774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big Wins of 2021 ($550,000+) on: January 05, 2022, 11:44:43 PM
The size is impressive but I want to hear the thinking behind each bet, why it was worth the risk or better then the odds most had given the game.    I'd congratulate someone just the same who bet a dollar a game for the same wins, some people are just for fun some are willing and able to risk it all Smiley

not many gamblers here can bet that big and win big. also, it goes to show that stake can handle this big amount of bets and winnings. and if you are a sportsbettor, you should at least be very familiar with the sports to get higher percentage of right results.
curious if the OP was also having heart palpitations while waiting for the results? Smiley that amount, wow!
4775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: January 05, 2022, 10:05:10 PM
It will be cost effective if the players are willing to pay for it. But to be honest, I know several gamblers (and play a little myself) - I have never heard from them any wishes regarding gambling graphics or anything like that. For ordinary gambling, the Metaverse is unlikely to provide anything new. Maybe there will simply be some interesting opportunities like running around the field next to the players (in the game on which made a bet), of course virtually.
At least, Metaverse can offer a new experience using VR equipment that some gamers already use to play many games. The cost will adjust from time to time and with the newest technology, everything will be updated following the current situation. The gambling industry will change when VR equipment can be applied, which may also change the interface of the gambling industry. The smart contract will solve the problem of the fee of the transaction and with so many options now, people can choose what they want to pay for the services.

This is a controversial point in view of the fact that top monitors transmit a picture of best quality, and, for example, for me personally, a monitor is much more convenient than any VR equipment, simply because I can see well with only one eye, so VR for me means a deterioration in the picture and not an improvement.
In general, there are many different unexpected pros and cons in this area, and in order to strongly attract consumers, the Metaverse must offer something really worthwhile.
^ This could become a hot topic now, metaverse game using VR which is already started people using it. But it is only for those who can afford to buy this device. I did not yet experience using VR while gambling and how good it is, as they said, it looks real when you as your character is an avatar and other your opponents too which look like you are inside the casino. Probably this will be going to happen soon and many gamblers will move to this nice idea and explore how virtual reality becomes looks real.

they may attract certain group for this market, but high likely those that can afford such experience. because let's admit that not all gamblers can afford this gadget. but if you are up to it, the experience may really be a different one. and this may be another option if you want to visit virtual casinos in replacement of physical ones.
maybe in time, this kind of gambling will become cheaper as more and more platforms will be offering this kind of service as well as wide options on how to purchase the gadget.
4776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung to introduce NFT platform within its new smart TVs on: January 05, 2022, 08:31:28 PM
Not being pessimistic but who the heck will gonna use that kind of smart TV with a pain in the ass remote controller and with added useless feature? Even if you use their newly added NFT thingy, using remote control for choosing your NFT's would be so damn slow  Roll Eyes
I can't remember when the last time I watch a TV, but that is one noting input from your side regarding the user experience. In another hand, to let users buy and keep NFT within their so-called smart TV, I wonder how the security aspect will look like. Not to mention they are aggregating across multiple marketplaces which it will increase the amount of, let's say user money on that. I guess there's might be a chance a scammer might try to deceive specifically on that, but that only concur if the device gains a userbase, so let's see.

for now, we don't know what possible bottlenecks they will be encountering here. but security is very important and they need to secure that it will not be infiltrated by scammers. somebody can imitate their gadget and make their own NFTs, so they need to publish all their authentic NFTs in order to identify which one is fake or not.
NFT market is indeed expanding and now popular companies are starting to get their hands on NFT market. expect there will be more of them in the coming days.
4777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Betswap.gg Join our community and start betting your way ! on: January 04, 2022, 11:52:29 PM
What do you think is most important for the future of a project, a token, an ecosystem? I'm working on some new projects and am having a lot of trouble assessing its potential now and in the future. Too much of projects and economic models…
In my opinion, tokenomics is the most important thing, because it determines the game and creates value for tokens and projects. If the project can create real demand for the token, people will have a reason to keep the token and use it more in the future. That is what helps the project continue to exist and be successful. What project are you looking for?
I am learning Betswap & BSGG Coin. The BSGG Coin coin can be used to pay discounted fees on sports trading commissions. Betswap regularly performs BSGG coin coin buybacks. This removes tokens from circulation, reduced the token supply is consistently and is deflationary by design. What do you think about them?
Well, a good project and has very clear and logical tokenomics. I think this project is developed by professional and smart team who know how to maintain demand for BSGG Coin in the future. You should also pay attention to the total supply of the token because the betting community will need quite a few tokens.

not only the tokenomics but they need to take a look on how to attract their bettors here. because after all, that's their business they are offering to the community. without active business, their token will slowly die. so how can they attract players on their site? being decentralised may have pros but most gamblers prefer to have a choice like btc or other alts.
most decentralised betting platform has difficulty in attracting their regular patrons so they should think of ways how to get their interest and sustain their players.
4778  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐉 CoinDragon.com 🐉- Closing down. Last day for withdrawals 17/1-2022 on: January 04, 2022, 11:14:54 PM
I was part of its signature campaign and they also credited my account on time, they are an honest casino, and I'm sure many of its loyal supporters will miss them, like all the others here I'm also hoping that they will be back, with a much better casino version, and the community will welcome them, thanks for their contribution here in Bitcointalk, good luck to the team and stay safe.

the good thing about them is they are leaving a positive mark from their players or from this community itself. they haven't screwed anyone throughout their journey here. so if in case they decide to come back and revive their business, it won't be hard for them to establish their site. they already got their plus sign here.
they also have learnings from this venture so if they will go back, they pretty sure know where to improve and add their time to increase the interest from the gambling community.

hi i'm trying to buy the token. why do i have to buy at least 1000 busd?
Hey friend I think you should leave a free purchase amount.
I would strongly advise you not to invest in this shitcoin. Pro tip: every time you see some website boasting with ceritificate of incorporation (image below) like BITChro is doing, you can be 99% sure that there is something dodgy going there as that thing is  favorite tool of many scammy sites, in order to appear legit while its completely useless and doesn't prove anything.

Don't get me started on that ridiculous tea, member section...

-

usually that type of certificate is easy to get or easy to acquire. they can pay cheap to get such certificate. and it is not a guarantee that they will do the right thing later on. how many projects have posted their certificates here and yet, they were abandoned? even projects with published team members can rug pull these days. so don't easily trust new projects esp if they are going in the hype industry. there's more than meets the eye here.
NFT, metaverse - these are key words that are getting the interest of people these days. so be vigilant when you invest on this type of project.

No point of regretting not being able to invest in BTC back in that price. I could have invested also, but I don't think there are any more reasons to still think about that you missed out the lower ATHs of Bitcoin. Bitcoin would be declared as dead many times again in the Obituaries, and that's another cue for anyone to buy at the lowest.
It is just also matter of how ones daily schedule work. I quitted day trading just to hodl it all in Bitcoin.

you can't go back in time and regret. so what you can do here is move on and if you strongly believe that the coin like btc will have good future, you can always invest anytime. just like what the OP did. though he didn't know that btc will increase in the future, he kept on holding up until he saw his investments more than tripled from his original amount and sold it. as we have no clue what's coming, it is your instincts that will guide you on what to do with your holdings. don't look back and regret, it won't do any good in your future plans. act now and keep up with the market.
