4761  Economy / Gambling / Re: SkirmishBet: provably-fair turn-based strategy 😳😳😳 Multiplayer soon on: October 28, 2020, 10:59:08 PM
snip~

seems that they didn't get much traffic. checked their tweet regarding this and it is really true, they are closing.

https://twitter.com/SkirmishBet/status/1320113000360136707

but they should disable only the deposit, but for withdrawals, let the players withdraw first if there are funds left.
gone too soon. not even a month here. but hopefully, they will venture in a more profitable gambling game.

This very alarming than those error pop-ups once visited the site. I don't think that this was just taken for granted by the site owner because I'd never heard/see their actions and response in here. Doubted how the project will grow if there are rising issues and complaints with them. People are now very cautious when it comes to this, of course, we all wanted to have a clear response coming from them, probably not false hope.

provably-fair-turn based strategy? I can't imagine if how this could be realized if no one will actually believe it. Nobody is checking it now and I feel worried about the situation. No, I can't afford to try and lost control of my money.
4762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: October 28, 2020, 10:23:40 PM
rapidly growing mainstream adoption, and media attention;  many people at large increasingly believe in the phenomenal development of Bitcoin, and want to take part in the crypto world.  and today it was recorded that 1 BTC transaction costs $ 20.  previously 1 BTC transaction was only $ 0.1- $ 0.3.  and of course, in the future it will be more expensive.  why? because the blocksize scalability of the Bitcoin Blockchain is very full by transactions that occur every second.  Finally, there is an increase in each side of the network, so that higher transaction fees are charged to reduce transaction traffic.
It simply you can't ignore the fact that sending it now (at this current heavy network traffic), the fees slightly increase because everyone would like to move our transactions faster to confirmed. It was us who would like to pay such amount because if we can still make it to wait for a few hours why we have to pay for it.

If we are talking about fees in the future, you'll certainly be seeing the same fees and the same scenarios. There is a time that we experience the same where we need to pay a higher fee rate than to normal transactions we do.
4763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween inspired poll –would your Bitcoins get passed on if you suddenly died? on: October 28, 2020, 02:45:21 PM
I'll be honest to you guys if ever I pass today, doubted that one of my family member can access my Bitcoin account because none of them I have already been talked about it and tell them. They actually know what I'm doing but the problem is they don't have knowledge about this. Maybe I have to spend time and to let one of the trusted members of the family or a friend try to access my wallet but I won't let them to have the full admin of my keys. I only give all the records, the keys, address only to my partner, not to the other person.
4764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products? on: October 27, 2020, 11:46:16 PM
What we are expecting about Defi hypes has done to reality, it finally burst and it's over. Those earlier investors might be lucky as they can make money for that time as the price strikes high but I worried those who come late. Defi projects have no way to stand stronger because if we take a look, most of them are unreliable projects, how could this helps the market to grow? This only helps to destroy crypto's reputation.

I'm not suggesting as well to leave crypto and only invest in the real stock. yes, crypto investment still makes sense and profitable, it matters only how we choose a coin/s for investment because this is the reason why noobs come to a sad end.
4765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 27, 2020, 11:15:07 PM

There are more serious risks here. Gambling leads to the release of the hormones adrenaline and dopamine. In normal doses, these hormones are very beneficial. However, their excess leads to depression. A person ceases to be interested in the world around him. He sees the whole World in gray tones. The person does not want to live. It's scary😞

That's why I got too much excited when posting my prediction on our local board and keep thinking about it until the next morning. After I lost my prediction in the NBA championship games, it felt so heavy in my heart. This is what the other gamblers felt every time they lose and it really hurts. depends on how much they have lost in the game. It's a surprise how they managed to forget such a feeling because it is not as simple as you imagine. Losing a huge amount of money will get yourself a lot to imagine at night.
I feel you, man. But if we keep thinking that way, remembering those losses every night, every time that we are alone, it makes you hard to forget and can't move on. Gambling could have that losing and winning ends but at first, before we decided to put our bets we actually decide also to accept the result, and that is not a reason to keep thinking because we'd lose big. It was scary if we entirely lose our minds because that, making other stuff might help to divert our minds and forget the past.
4766  Economy / Gambling / Re: GameCash.io - Colonel Blotto Game - BTC | ETH | ShapeShift on: October 27, 2020, 10:08:28 PM
New users are quite low as I notice that you have only 68 users last week, how can we sure that we will be playing with real players and not to bots?

And with regards to your currency rate, may I know if where you are basing it? as upon comparing it to coinmarketcap prices there is a little differences so I am wondering if where you are basing your rate. Is it your own rate or you are basing it to some exchange rate?

That is what I afraid of and to wonder why OP isn't active in this thread. We can't leave for the doubt that this site is run by bots and no way that a gambler could win but just only to lose their money.

I feel that this site has been abandoned for a long time because not even it gets the interest of the gamblers since their launching.

from their site https://gamecash.io/

Gotta be clear how the project runs with fewer participants. I don't know what these participants do here, or just a clone member. Not that it looks attractive, no market promotions, and no reason that this project will survive.
4767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Different level of risk in crypto currency trading on: October 27, 2020, 09:37:07 PM
The volatility feature of the market brings it into a higher level of risk when it comes to investment and much more for trading. As we can see, a lot of trading platforms currently existed in the market but crypto trading is a little bit far from them. If we could ask ourselves, why I should choose crypto trading if there is high-risk waiting for me? it simply because we are driven by our positive mindset, money, and the possibility of gaining more profit is higher also than the others. But the problem is that and mostly the case that it happens to newcomers, they have been losing a lot instead of making a profit due to their own lapses.
4768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is unique to man. on: October 27, 2020, 01:15:16 AM
Bitcoin is Bitcoin, not FIAT money, not gold, and definitely, we can't compare it to other cryptocurrencies. It becomes unique to man and also in crypto space because of its pictured market value and that is the reason why it gains popularity. It is eye-catching to the community not only because of its price but also we are adopting it considering that this is useful to the current era.

However, it was unfortunate that people never fully understand what is Bitcoin and how it works. And I don't think that we come into realization and finally consider Bitcoin as a currency alternative to fiat because people mostly come in here just purely for investment.
4769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 26, 2020, 11:50:08 PM
Chasing losses is the most dangerous part of gambling, along with spending more than you can afford to lose. It is so easy to fall into the trap that you'll be able to recover losses, but the maths and learning algorithms that big casino companies use is simply designed to beat customers in the long term. All you end up doing is losing more and it is best to cut your losses to take a break for a while.
I don't feel it was a trap because, in the first place we know that losing is a part of gambling, and winning will be just our bonus if we are lucky enough. That is the reason why in every time I gamble I'd never think about winning but just asking to have luck this time. because the hardest part of being a gambler is to accept that we lose and we want to recover by making another bet again, incrase our bets which actually never works perfectly.

And you are right, we don't need to chase about winning. If we lose, accept it, and better not to complain rather than to enjoy your day.
4770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: October 25, 2020, 11:53:50 PM

What do you think ?
Is this essential? Would it affect the online casinos?

I'd find it more essential this time as a way also to help the government and the country's economy. It won't be a problem to our ends if they just asking a fair amount of fees in following what is stated by the law. However, I don't think that it could be easy for them to regulate online gambling sites since not all of them are being controlled, this very challenging part to even minimize the spread of illegal gambling sites that causes scam and fraud.

But I can also feel how it affects to the fees that every gambler has to pay for every transaction. Probably there is an increase and that it is not favorable to gambler sides which likely they/we don't want it to happen.

4772  Economy / Services / Re: [AMEPAY] Signature Campaign | Full Member+ ⚡Paid in BTC on: October 25, 2020, 12:58:20 PM
Update

I haven't got BTC from the team yet. I can't order you to work for 2nd week until I get BTC in my wallet. The amepay team said they will transfer the btc in Wednesday night or Thursday morning. But, I will not be able to guarantee your payment until I get BTC in my wallet. So you can remove your signature. Or you can continue the 2nd week work.

Disclaimer : I will not take any responsibility. if you miss the 2nd week payment in any way. 2nd week work have to done at your own risk.

If you want to take part the 2nd week at your own risk. Than you can start working by filling this [ Google form ]
I suggest to temporarily close this campaign and just open it once finally got payment for the second week rather than asking participants to fill the form if they want to continue. I know that participants are willing to wait at that time if they want to stay.

Just take a look at how @Hhampuz did to some of his campaigns just like Blender.io and Bitamp.

Anyway, that is your decision and I respect that. I'm then to wait for if I can't find another campaign and keep active. I'd found a place to stay. Good luck.
4773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 24, 2020, 01:30:32 PM
I voted "NO" because this could be an honest answer. Will everyone does reading it? 1-2%, maybe.

TOS isn't necessary for me, what I consider most when choosing a site is to find its legality, no KYC, and user-friendly. Just to be honest, and I know that most gamblers never waste their time reading on its long and number of pages for their TOS. Even if we read it, I don't know if it clearly catches it all.

4776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 22, 2020, 01:55:45 PM
all of the gambling site is risky well roulette is a fast paced game play unlike the sports every spin is a roller coaster you might win this round and not on the second. we have our own preferences in roulette you can have different types of bets with different multipliers so it is still up for the player which type of bet and strategy he will use.
That is why I admit not to really like playing Roulette because in a thing that luck on me is usually not meant for me. And I'd rather to choose sports games or skilled games where I can made use of my skills.
Likewise, it wasn't unfortunate if we are also trying our luck and make some bets into luck-base game, who knows if that even make you better than the other games. Roulette, lottery and many others.

4778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some ideas about Bitcoins recently on: October 22, 2020, 10:24:36 AM
I don't know why Bitcoin suddenly pumped, this is a good thing that Bitcoin holders have been waiting for. With Bitcoin currently priced
at $ 12,800 which is a huge increase in my opinion. And I was lucky because I managed to buy Bitcoin when it dropped to $ 6,000.
So now my profit is quite large. I decided to hold Bitcoin until 2021, because I believe the Bitcoin price is still going up. The best strategy
for investing in Bitcoin is to be independent of other people's opinions. Just trust in our own analytical skills. Because trusting other people's
trading signals can hurt us. Because not necessarily other people's trading signals are more accurate than our analysis.
Should we have to distrust people's analysis all the time? Well, I'm not going to agree with that idea.

I know everyone has their own set of criteria, market analysis, price prediction but we can just rely upon it. Why we do our search? Of course, we want to hear other's opinions just like reading other market analyses. What we can get this is to have an open mind, it can also improve the way we think about the future that is why sometimes we need a mentor to helps us and clearly set our mindset for a better result.
4779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin lose its value? on: October 22, 2020, 09:43:19 AM
after you made this post, bitcoin price has increased by trying the $ 12,000 retest today, so I think your question has been answered for now, bitcoin will have value until the future. bitcoin was created to fight the domination of the FIAT currency
It will take a long time before bitcoin can become a currency.
Governments do not like bitcoin because they cannot regulate it, and bitcoin itself remains limited. I think that before bitcoin solves the problem of speed and transaction fees, bitcoin is very difficult to be a currency.
Actually, Bitcoin created for a reason and that to be considered as a legal currency.
Yes, some countries doubted about it and ban Bitcoin but many of them change their minds and did open such an opportunity to runs. And what I see today is that the more it spreads globally the higher chance that price will move together (high).

We can't certainly decline any possibility of losing its value but not it means that we are seeing it to continuously dump, of course, pumps have to expected next after the lows.
4780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 21, 2020, 11:39:57 AM
I'm not really a bullish person but I keep top believe it though. $12k, $13k...we gonna make it possible IF the momentum won't break. We have this a roller coaster-like trend, we got the dump in the past days, and we have the recovery now. We can't surely expect what next but I was then to think this Christmas season brings a better trend.

People can make their own speculations base on what they understand the market trend, feel to make it so.
