4761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 29, 2020, 09:53:08 PM
Yes all the time, when we lose something important we might felt some kind of emotion to get it back that's why. It's better not gamble with money you may need in the future because you tend to be very emotional that clouds your judgement even after having a losing streak. So the end result, is you tend to loss more or get bankrupt.
I have issues with those that have that kind of view, when you gamble you are paying for entertainment in the same way that you pay to see a movie or pay for a video game so I do not see where people get the idea to get their money back, if you gamble that money away then you should see that money as gone from the very beginning, this way you will only bet what you can actually afford to lose and you will have no temptation to try to recover it by gambling some more.
The difference here when you do compare those amounts used in gambling and watching movie and stuff which is on the actual or total amount. It cant really be avoided for people not to think about on making money yet they know that gambling and treating it that way wont really be that easy. There would always that kind of impression on where you do always look for making money by winning. This is the main mistake which people shouldnt really be tolerated because these kind of aims will really put you in hard.Dont chase losses and as said when you do play gambling then think it up that those amounts is already gone and dont expect for some return and just enjoy the game.
4762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: February 29, 2020, 09:24:03 PM
Since 2018 I have seen many new projects that come into crypto space with half plan and got the rest on roadmap, developers should stop this bad habit of introducing projects that aren't finished yet because many of them only get abandoned in the end, some have bad intent of grabbing money from ICO or fundraising and run away

To all investors out there think twice before you invest your money on projects that have promising future but haven't reached half way of production already, they are mostly red flags
Most of them doesnt even reach out that half state where they dont even deliver on what they do promised when they are still on token sale. Most of projects are trash and you can easily spot out which one is garbage if we do base up into their goals and yet there are really ones which are unrealistic to consider or unbelievable and some which do have some common concept that had already been existing on older projects.
This is the hardest part of crypto invest where you cant be sure on which one will really tend to deliver out promised output yet most of them are just good on promises.
4763  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto mass adoption achievement on: February 28, 2020, 10:59:04 PM
What the crypto projects (any type you can think of crypto projects), are doing in order to achieve mass adoption?

Is there any group of projects working together in order to achieve this social and specifically crypto goal?

If all the different crypto projects were more coordinated and united this could be achieved soon or at least each month the whole crypto could have some positive progress.

We cant point out consider the current numbers of projects in the market with having that different aspects or areas of specialties that were trying to create on or shall we say on different sectors but look at on what happen?

Most of them do end up on failure due to unrealistic aims or goals or shall we say that they do copy out each others ideas and do die up in the end due to lack of support or investors doesnt already trust up this process.

I dont expect too much for alts to give out such thing yet Bitcoin is already enough imho.
4764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: February 28, 2020, 09:56:12 PM
They offer promotions, they offer certain things and they even had merchandise! (Well some of them has it)
As a Gambler How do you view these things? Is it worthy of a try? Or it's just a thing of the company to get more sales and money?

No harm trying them all out, it's free I received a promotion on some of the gambling sites where I have an account and playing, promotions are good it's a good way to tell that they are allocating a portion of their profit for giveaways and merchandise, top gambling casinos are doing that to their loyal customers and new clients.
They would really need up to consider on having those promotions because i dont see other things that are needed for a business to last without having that proper promotions or events.
We know that people do easily get hooked up when it comes to bonuses or promotions where most people do look at this as an advantage for them but it doesnt work that way
yet we have seen on how these promotions do have ridiculous wagering requirement and it isnt easy to reach that threshold and if you arent lucky enough then you do lost your money
while reaching that out.
4765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: February 27, 2020, 06:48:26 PM
They offer promotions, they offer certain things and they even had merchandise! (Well some of them has it)
^ All of them are pretty obvious that it is the marketing strategy of course. In order to lure gamblers and probably will stay on their platform, they offer certain promotions. Just like a faucet, free spin, and giveaways. Sometimes they have a wagger contest that makes users more active to compete other players. As a gambler, always find the provably fair system in every gambling platform you have been chosen. Because you know there is nothing bias between the gambling platform and the user. Nevertheless, verifying is the best way to find out.
Sites reputation itself would already tell you out that the site is provably fair which means you dont have to worry in regards to the results as long you do know its fair then you are confident that there would be chances for you to take advantage into those promotions as expected there would be a specific requirement regarding to that which isnt surprising. They wont give out promotions if they do put themselves into the bad side.
It always matter on making money by luring out player by means of those promotions and as said, all things are part of marketing stuff which is same as usual.
4766  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another decline of BTC expected on: February 27, 2020, 06:15:03 PM
https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2020/02/btc-hold-trend-line-decline
Is Bitcoin likely to keep going down, in your opinion? Are you selling/buying it?

I already expect for these sentiments to come out for those people who do believe much on increasing runs without even thinking on price corrections. We've been rallying for months now and even reaching almost 11k

in price without stop? Its impossible for a market to go up all the way without minding for some correction.People do usually got panicked when the price settled down with few percentage without looking back on how
much percentage we have risen. Im not really into technicals yet this time would be good on buying some cheap coins.
4767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 26, 2020, 10:06:22 PM
Earning money is real hard and it's a no-brainer. So basically what I do is I write down in a diary of my daily income along side with what I have sacrificed for earning that amount.

Yesterday night after finishing my own assignment, I worked as a freelancer from 12am to 2 am to complete an assignment based on electrical engineering to earn $20.

I wrote down in my diary - earnt $20 - sacrificed 2 hours of sleep, 2 hours of not watching netflix and put in mental effort when mentally I was exhausted.

Now when I would have the urge to gamble with that $20, I would just see the diary and would realize I am not just gambling with $20 but gambling with that sacrifice of time and effort which I'll never get back. And it has worked for me to a certain level.

What's your opinion on this......
If you do give important in all of your hard work then wasting up even a penny will always have that second thoughts in mind unless if youre that addicted much then you wont really do care and playing gambling in the end of the day.

$20 might not be big for most people on here but for some it is already a big amount for you to save on specially for your living and expenses. If you do have some extra then playing isnt bad as long you dont exceed on spending way more than you are earning.

Just be on limits and if you dont like to spend money then there are lots of activities which are enjoyable or can kill off your time.
4768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 26, 2020, 05:05:51 PM
What do you think, will Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling?
After seeing that you could have bought a new motorbike or buy an expensive watch on all your losses that you have computed.
Not a guaranteed working solution towards your addiction. This kind of goal or activity will just either make you stop or play even more. Why? When you do saw that you have lost too much, of course there would be a time that you would thought that you should keep playing and you might able to take those losses back or recover which is really a possible mindset that you would encounter along the way.
So i say that listing out your losses is useless and if you do play just for fun then this wont really be an issue yet you are willing to spend or lost those money to gambling in the first place.
4769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet would rather be a “forgetful old man” on: February 25, 2020, 07:56:57 PM
According to CNBC Warren Buffett was gifted 1 BTC during their 'meeting' and afterwards Buffett turned the wallet over to GLIDE Foundation as a donation.

So it was not even transacted by him?
https://bitcoinist.com/just-in-warren-buffett-gave-away-his-bitcoin/
Read it just now - I can't believe he just gave away the phone as a donation to GLIDE Foundation just because he does not like BTC and any other crypto. He lost the opportunity to learn something new, I heard that he is a man that belongs to well-educated societies which like to learn something new every day, he had the opportunity to do that but he wasted it.
He wouldnt care that much either this one is intentional or do really completely forget about it.WB been known when it comes to charitable works so it isnt surprising that he do give out that phone containing that bitcoin.

Those amounts arent really a big deal though but the thing we are concern is on his sentiment towards bitcoin/ crypto.
4770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Newbie Traders Lose money? | Risk Management Basics on: February 25, 2020, 06:56:37 PM
It is great to share some information so that some traders would learn something new.
I think risk management is one of the most common problem of the new traders,
Most of them doesn't know how to manage their funds they just want the profit they doesn't think about the negative things that could happen while trading or they doesn't have any back up plans.
Newbie is unaware of how investment management and risk reduction are normal when basically, they just want to reach the world of trading as quickly as possible, the knowledge was too much and boring right at the beginning, it made them overwhelmed and did not want to absorb it, perhaps here a lot of our friends just ask us about which coin should invest, instead of asking us about knowledge and safety in trading. Losing money may be the best message and limit the arrogance of newbie, they will wake up and realize risk management is very important.
Most of the time where mistakes are the best teachers imho...I cant deny such mistake when i was still a newbie where rushing things up for you to jump in trading and hurrying to make profits but later on you would
realize that it wont really be that easy when you are already on the actual situation. There are lots of factors needed for you to remember and follow if you do like to survive into this market.
Mistakes are inevitable it would just depend if you o absorb and learn from it and be used on future trades to come.Dont mind on having no perfect trade as long the important thing is
to be profitable in the end of the day.
4771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: February 25, 2020, 05:58:04 PM
Good community and a trusted one.
That is the only thing that would make me stick to one particular gambling house.
And also I would consider the games on their site if I would enjoy it.
A good community makes sense if you are playing against other people like it is the case in poker and games similar to that, but if you are playing dice then the community becomes less important as there is no strategies they can share with you that are effective, in that case other aspects of the casino should take a priority, things like good customer service, quick withdrawals, no KYC and the casino being trusted take a way more important role.
You got actually the point on when community does make sense. It doesnt mean that dice shouldnt really have that one yet communication with other players is the most important where you can hang on and chit chat regarding into your particular game but as said it would be more relevant if it would be pertain with card games or pvp ones.

Good support, quick withdrawals etc. should really be standardize on all upcoming or newly launched gambling sites.Well, theres no such thing as perfect but currently those who are on top
rankings or popularity do have these qualities. So it isnt surprising for them to retain theirselves on top.Lastly, having some unique game is much more prefer if possible.
4772  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain lottery? How does it work? on: February 25, 2020, 03:22:37 PM

Anyone here have good experience with playing or promoting theses lotteries ?
Yeah, i do have some experience on playing some lotteries and most of them doesnt really get too much attraction even if blockchain-based is already implied.

Somehow there are still some sites that do have lottery games into their site or being added. Theres freebitco.in and in talks of erc20 then theres ethexbet.io
and etc like TRX and EOS based ones but so far i cant see a glimpse into these lotteries.

4778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Double Checking while playing Roulette? on: February 19, 2020, 11:57:12 AM
Played Roulette in one of the reputed casino, on consecutive bets value spend was 0.00008192 eth. For the first two bets this was the value and mistakenly for the third consecutive bet unknowingly my fingers have touched the chips based on which value can be increased. This made the further bet amount to 1.00008192 eth, and the bet lost. Further I wasn't able to go for further betting. This ended the day a loss of more than an ethereum. If I've double checked I could've escaped such a massive loss.

But imagine if you've won, you would have not to blame anybody, it's part of the game to be very attentive, that is why those who drink and gamble has a lower chance of winning the game of gambling, concentration and focus is very important if you want to stay in the game and possibly win.
Being attentive is very important when you are playing inside the gambling house, things are tough when you are not paying attention with each bets that you've made, it's hard to accept that just because of such mistakes it can easily empty your bankroll. Though it would be a different story if ever you win those bets with that same mistake.

Being attentive is important not only on gambling but in all sorts of activities in life which do require such thing yet lacking of this one will really result into accident or disaster.
Lets talk about on gambling matter which each action would really vary because one mistake can indeed wipe out your balance and ending up your day into frustration and regret.
Actually i did experience such mistakes in the past where i do bang up my head on wall because i do lost my 1 month equivalent salary. After that i do become careful on each
press of button i do make but still there are really times where this mistake do happen once again.Accidental winnings do also put a smile on my face. hehe
4779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal gambling in Asian football increased partly because of crypto? on: February 19, 2020, 10:29:26 AM
Yes, it could be that some bad actors are taking advantage of crypto and used it as a tool for illegal gambling. But it doesn't mean that crypto per se is bad.

I wouldn't list the positive benefits of it, but as crypto enthusiast, we already know it. Sooner or later though, this criminals will be caught by authorities. And btw, fiat system has been abused and used by illegal criminals or bookies as well.
I tend to disagree into the point that sooner or later they would be caught.Using up crypto is the best recipe on doing illegal acts due to anonymity which is really hardly to be traced.

These kind of news arent already surprising if were to say yet weve been slapped for a thousand times on negative news that do only emphasize cryptos negative usage.

Why they cant post up illegal thing while using fiat? Huh

4780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: February 18, 2020, 12:55:45 PM
Obviously not, If you're really in Macau then there's a lot of casinos where you can go. I think there's a casino place that has few people on it 'cause it's very tiring and it's stressing me when there's a lot of people around me.

How can I play gambling peacefully and think about my own strategy? It's impossible in that place. If you're playing on uncrowded places, then you'll be not bothered since there's no looking at your decisions in the game. But if you're there to enjoy, then it's fine, those people on casinos are rich and sometimes it's a good place to stay even there's a lot of people, means socializing with others is better.
It would be other way around with other people yet they dont even care if the crowd is watching them.So its just really a matter of preference because not all would really be the same.
Some do gamble for socializing and enjoying the ambiance and some do prefer on a private or less crowded. If you were VIP then you can choose up on where you do like to play.
On my case it wont really be that an issue on where i do play as long i do gamble wether on a public or private place. What matter most or important is that you do enjoy on what you are doing.
People around you shouldnt really be a problem while you do gamble. If youve been distracted then this one isnt your place.
