4761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: November 01, 2020, 07:37:53 PM
What do you think about Bitcoin Price? Will, it again stays below the resistance level?

This question had been beaten out to death not only on 14k but in all levels or resistances that we had in the past but surely it does have one answer.
"No one really knows" when talking about on whats ahead then no man will really able to see on what will happen. Why not try to lurk out on WO thread?
you would really be entertained on how people do love on predicting btc price? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0  Wink

Also, you should have put up "no one knows" in the poll.
4762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: November 01, 2020, 06:51:31 PM
he should just asked someone else to confiscate the chickens.
these roosters are trained all their lives to fight as long it can. as long as it can fight back using its beak the fight in the arena goes on.  since the chicken can still kick, it only mean this is the dominant fighter. shit happens. rip to the police officer.

Who would be the one to confiscate those? They are law enforcers so its just normal that they would be the ones to get those cocks. Its just that police
were just too careless yet those are equipped with blades. If he had been careful on handling it out then he might able to save up his own life.Well,
this do happens and theres nothing you can do when accident do really happen. Feel sad for that police had just wasted up his own life due to
that blade which causes for extreme bleeding. This is also part of the risk when you do really have this kind of job.
4763  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ? on: November 01, 2020, 06:23:49 PM
Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ?

I honestly just don't understand bitcoin as a financial instrument/asset ,all financial books tell me that i should never buy bitcoin ..bitcoin it's mind f...king

Finance ,economy, investing books need to be rewritten as all they say in those books ,bitcoin is doing the opposite ...if btc goes 20k Warren Buffet is dead to me ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTMj4cg64yw

How is it possible ? ( beside whales pumping the price )

"DEMAND"

Main reason on why we here and why it had reached out such value. Fan of reading those financial Books and Idolized those traditional investors or known people into that market?
Dont get blinded too much yet this would really result into missing out such opportunity here on making money with crypto specially with Bitcoin.
Lots say that it is shit, its not a financial asset blah blah and all negative things that can be thrown but look at on where we now? Bitcoin is unpredictable,
it can turn peoples belief upside down and made it to support and we have seen that lots of those perma-bears back in the past had already changed up their
mind now.
4764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest #Bitcoin transaction in history was sent literally just now! on: October 30, 2020, 10:59:58 PM
It's a great time to sell right before the holidays especially with BTC and other popular cryptocurrencies steadily rising in recent times. A billion dollar transaction with such insanely low fees did surprised me.

My green wallet suggests paying $10-11 for a $110 transaction at medium-high speed which is around 10%. Meanwhile, this guy paid a negligible amount for a billion dollar transaction. He sure knows how to save money.

Could be an early adopter or some extremely rich dude. However, calling this the biggest BTC TX is wrong as the poster above suggested though it certain qualifies as one of the biggest ones.

This is the beauty of using up btc where you can send up multi millions or billions without having those ridiculous deduction on where a traditional platform that we have known and this is what it makes different among the rest but somehow this do affect on mini transactions but well this is just an another topic. Its just great to see this one where sending out a billion with less than 5 bucks fees. This one is no doubt a whale or an early adopter.
4765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 09:19:17 PM
Well aware about that "tari" or some sharp blade that needs to be worn by a cock for the fight and this is where things do becomes excited and this had been known for decades
on this kind of gambling.Thing here is that they have done it on a very bad situation where crowd shouldnt really be tolerated due to corona virus but those organizers were just
to greedy and decide not to follow up those protocols. In result? its just right for them to be jailed or have some serious amount of fine. Its just sad that one of the
police out there had wasted up his life just because of this illegal gambling operation. Animals shouldnt really be blamed of though because its just natural that they would move
out. The police hadnt just be too careful with those sharp blades.
4766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: October 30, 2020, 08:14:52 PM
Quote
I will just wait and watch, that is all I can do. 😕   -
I can't wait at all, I will ask a mining firm to help me as I can pay more fee.
I will go to the gambling website's support staff and ask them to credit my coins and let me play.
I will double spend it with higher fee to get the next sent transaction confirmed quick, because I want to gamble at any cost.
I will increase the fee as my transaction was RBF.

-It will be most likely the case if you dont plan to pay for more in fee then you would end up into this option.
-Ask a miner? Finding one will already be a hell of a work.  Cheesy
-Its dumb for you to ask out on something that they arent in control.Theres nothing they can do.
-It wont work.
-This is the only valid way i do saw on where someone can make such action. Increase the fee for faster confirmation.
4767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: October 30, 2020, 07:26:02 PM
You don't need to think much when you are buying something but when you want to sell there is always a fear that what if the price increases?
As a boy belonging to middle-class family, I don't have a large share BTC hodling and now I am unable to figure out what should I do? Here are my few questions......
Should I hold for more time?
Should I buy some more now only or wait if the price dips a bit?

Buy more if you do tend for bitcoin in long term but if you do really mind of on making profit in shorter time then its better to wait for price dip before you do enter.
Its depends into your plan. How long you would tend to hold up? If theres no definite time and do talk if that would be tomorrow then best choice is to wait
for the price dip a bit then buy some amount but doesnt mean that it will automatically rise up.Market isnt predictable for someone to able to make money.
Dont expect that this market is the same as what you think.Sell out when you are greens and dont wait up for anything.
4768  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: October 29, 2020, 11:25:08 PM
I only hope that after this everything will go back to normal.

These practice of increase in price won't go down even after covid-19 pandemic is gone. Is like this because some people have tasted excess of profit from what they have invested, they have had returns in multiple folds so if you want things to go normal, you also understand it is a difficult thing to do.
It wont really be happening on an instant and thats why we do have that government departments which do really took control of prices.
Sellers cant just increase on prices that they do want because it wont really be that appealing nor feasible to see its citizens do suffer on
expensive prices thats why everything should be on control. For now its a bit exception since its quite understandable that transport of
goods and other things are costly amidst of this pandemic and essentials are bit of a demand so its understandable that the price
is somewhat been increased but not on that extreme extent.
4769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 29, 2020, 10:26:00 PM
Wont matter much if bitcoins price would go to the roof because we can always base off with fiat value even though its already expensive but it wont matter yet majority of
us would do the same.In regards with fees then i doubt that it would really comes back to normal where the entire network had already normalize so it wont really that much
of an issue. > $150k? How i wish we would really be reaching out that level. In that case, some people will really be keen on spending their coins in gambling and rather
do decide to make hold of it due to potential price increase as years goes by.
4770  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ CORONABET.CO ⭐ bets on the covid-19 pandemic ACCEPT BTC/ETH/LTC on: October 29, 2020, 09:24:04 PM
Kinda shameful to use COVID hype to grow gambling project imo...
Before playing notice it's a new account, the interface is minimal and the project looks very cheap overall.
I don't know if this is legit, but still wishing good luck.

The issue again to this is that covid-19 cases are beginning to drop and if it finally calms off, I wonder what will happen to this thread. Anyway, the thread can still go on while the pandemic last because it seem politics have started coming into it.

Dont worry since this pandemic wont be over soon.Im not really hoping for it to last but it might really take a while since vaccine isnt available yet which means
this domain name will be still quite relevant for sometime and also it did really had that presidential bet where it can really cover it up but after all the events
do happen then expect that this site will not be offering something which is not really correlated to the sites name but it all depends if bettors would still
bet on what this site would offer to do so.
4771  Other / Archival / Re: Again nobody needs DEXs? on: October 29, 2020, 08:24:50 PM

Then, when most of the tokens were no longer needed by anyone along with all the yeald farming, people simply left these DEXs and moved back to CEXs, because there are now more options to make money, and they all do not care about technology and will remain so for a long time. Practical application to DEXs will not come soon, and they will most likely remain in second swarms compared to CEXs. And DEXs can only revive again thanks to a new hype for DeFi tokens or something similar, and when it dies down, return to CEXs again.

What do you think about this?

This isnt something new anymore and we had observed this since from the beginning of time where DEX do exist. There's really a time where everything hypes up which would result into those rise in charts and when
that hype dies then expect for people to go into those traditional ways on where they had been get used to which on CEX.We do love decentralization but these cant beat up on what CEX is been offering.
One of the main reasons on why people do still continue to go back with cex is that because of fiat/crypto transactions.Yes, there might be some liquidity on dex but those are just temporal or in a short span of time
and that happened when defi had really make out some buzz to the market which it did really result into some increase but now theyre plummeting again which it isnt that surprising.
4772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: October 29, 2020, 07:51:07 PM
Actually the world condition is so much unpredictable now a days, so bitcoin is also a part of it. Predicting the price of bitcoin was not a easy task anytime. It was always unpredictable. At present there is so many big news for bitcoin, for that it's pumping. Also whales are giving it a support. Whales is on of the reason behind the unpredictable price of bitcoin. Because they can easily manipulate the market, and bring the price of bitcoin anywhere they want.

Since when where the price had been predictable? Since on the beginning of time where this market starts where prices had always been unpredictable.
Not really a fan with news or whatsoever but this market isnt really correlated from time to time but there are instances we can presume out that
it did really make out some significant effect but we dont actually know on whats the real thing that do happen behind for such rise or dumps.
Its never been easy and it had never been easy to analyze the market and of course manipulative actions is there which isnt something
new thats why we should really be careful on making out trading decisions.
4773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 29, 2020, 07:16:13 PM
Yes, I have always lost more in the recovery process. I had always played harder to cover the damage, and the little damage started to snowball. I no longer play in the days I lost.

You would really just realized when its already been done or too late and this had been a common scenario for most gamblers where they do become desperate
when it comes to recovery of their funds as long they do have money into their pocket then that thought on making some recovery or at least breaking even
with your losses would really be there. We would really have those thoughts in mind that if we might able to win on next bet and able to lessen your loss.
This does signify off that you are really just aiming to make money with gambling not on making out some entertainment.
4774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not store your wallet on the exchange, store it on your crypto wallet. on: October 28, 2020, 11:51:21 PM
Not your private key not your money.
Most of the time a trader skips this statement from their brain and end up being a victim of scam, exchange is not a place of storing funds, that's why numerous news about  exchange hacked had been sprouted around the space, not that the exchange is weak enough to maintain security policy but its easily hacked at any given point in time unlike wallets neither web, hardware nor software wallets.
--
this is a principle that must be understood.
many beginners use exchange wallets to make trading easier, without thinking about transaction fees for sending from private wallets to exchange wallets. whereas the risk is even greater because exchange wallets tend to be the target of hackers.
be wise in dealing with this. transaction fees incurred are proportional to your security, so if you don't care about security then you will definitely ignore this.
One of the reasons why people do tend to choose not to make active transfers from exchange wallet to their own personal crypto wallet not only just for the hassle but also with the fees.
Making transfers actively will really get some amount of fees specially now that $6 is the average fee atm for bitcoin since the network is clogged.Imagine on making
transfer back and forth and how much you do spent with just for fees alone but if you are a whale or do have lots of money then these amounts wont really be that
much of an issue. Some whales do value much of their holdings for sure and this is should how people do have this kind of mindset.
4775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports icons and Covid19 complications on: October 28, 2020, 10:55:49 PM
I really thought of these and I figure out how boring some hit matches would be, I have observed that no matter how strict precautions to be taken of been contacted may be but to no avail, players, coach and staff are still getting contacted. If this continues throughout the season then there must be a major competition among clubs finishing top because the virus affects some major players giving them imbalance in their lineups, for instance, Christiano Ronaldo absent in today's match against Barcelona will definitely give Juventus a though time in winning the Spanish giant this night. So I see some imbalance in team lineups and its really affecting club performance not only in soccer but other sports too as well.

lets admit it, we will only contain this infection when a potent vaccine is already available for consumption. however, sports events are trying to go back slowly. and now, they will see the repercussions of such event. but life goes on, right? people will find their ways how to minimize or lessen their chance of being infected.
also, many sports personalities are trying to skip some of their events owed to personal reasons, and we cant blame them. this pandemic is no joke to everyone.
As long theres no vaccine then theres no other option but to go ahead and continue but with having that strict health protocol. This virus is indeed no joke and transmission
could really be severe if the players or staffs itself are way not too disciplined on following these guidelines for them not to spread the said virus.
Once infected then the possible problems could really go even more worst. It doesnt exclude anyone because once you have it then you would really get
infected.
4776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: October 28, 2020, 09:43:21 PM
it is a strong cryptocurrency but there is no way it is a stable crypto. how about the price progression in 2 years? from triple digits to five digits what we have currently right now. if you look at the price chart right now, you probably see the chart itself is really volatile, there is no way bitcoin is a stable coin cuz of that reason

BTW, who want to invest in a stable asset?
me, i think investing in a stable asset is necessary for your future backup, maybe you want to save some for  your backup in case you need urgent money to pay something. that's why people who does not know about bitcoin prefer invest on gold cuz the profit is guaranteed and there is nothing to lose there and i am pretty much agree with that
We have our own inputs and insights towards things and i wont disagree to those people whom do prefer gold over Bitcoin when it comes to security of their funds.
Yeah, bitcoin is the new digital currency now but doesnt mean that it will guarantee that it would last if you do compare it to gold or other traditional investments out there.
Nothing is assured though but there are people whom do risk out their money and trust up bitcoin with all their might. If the market turns out on green then
that would really give out the prize but if not then that would be a total wreckage.Thats how thing works!.
4777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: October 28, 2020, 08:36:10 PM

The fact that you now realized that you need to get in, you don't miss anything mate.

Regret is always are there but considered it as a part of the process. Not just you, but I believed most of us here feel the same way before. Are we going to just think of the past and do nothing while BTC is progressing more?

But while staying positive about bitcoin's future, you should also spend some time learning all the associated risks once you decided to put some of your money on crypto.

When you decided up to engage with crypto or into this market then its just normal for you to know the risk involved and all the possibilities that can happen into this market
which would heavily affect your investment.Feeling of regrets is really just normal but there are people who are really that too paranoid when it comes to volatility on where
it do made them too scared on engaging the market and tend to make out some move or actions when the market is already hyping or rising up not on just making out
any steps or considerations when the market is still in read or in accumulation period. This had been a pretty common in most investors.
4778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 28, 2020, 07:30:54 PM

By multi-betting, do you mean parlay right?

Generally, neither of two can't give us an assurance that we can win most of the time. By doing parlay, aside from maximizing the best odds we can get, we consider those low odds "as safe" since likely it can win. However, as usual in sports betting, there are unexpected results and so-called upsets.

I prefer single betting but I do parlays if I want. Honestly, both are entertaining to do.

That's the challenge in sports-betting. The output will depend on our own strategy and knowledge.
Thats indeed parlay and we cant deny that when it comes to odds then this one is much more attractive but we know its con's that once you lost even one game then thats considered to be a lost bet.
This is why i dont really play with parlays even on 3 multi games only and tend to play with single which i do like even odds arent really that appealing.Upsets can really happen anytime and
basing of with my experience with 5-game parlay where my last game was a loss which really make me to punch a wall due to frustration.
4779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Never expect any big boom in ETH 2.0 on: October 28, 2020, 06:26:13 PM
Never expect any big boom in ETH 2.0

Do never expect any big boom in ETH 2.0 since it is just a utility token which is just created for the transaction purpose, even if ethereum add the smart contracts facility on ETH 2.0 then how many people will create their blockchain apps on it? We already having ETH Classic which is not performing well.
ETH 2.0 wont really be the same with that forked coin ETC and even though you do see that theres no soo much impact into its price with ETH 2.0 but you dont know
on what can hype will eventually do when it comes to price increase. It can made to shoot up to the moon where everyone is been mainly talking about this.
For total relevance then it might not really be that a big shift and this will all matter on how they do market it out or making some hype to drive the prize
into crazy levels. Never expect any big boom? You cant tell because if you do miss it out that will surely leave you in regrets.  Cry
4780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 27, 2020, 11:22:48 PM
The good thing about Michael Jordan was his skill to bring his team into finals when he was in Chicago Bulls and not only that, He managed to win 6 of them. also, he became the NBA Finals MVP in all six NBA championship that's insane for a player who played in Chicago Bulls for his six-season career.

Let's also give credit to his teammates. Their lineup was really one of the best during their championship seasons. Jordan's skill is superb so when blended with his teammate's skills, the result is they turned into a monster team.

And just want to clarify your last statement, Jordan's journey in Chicago is not just six-season but 13 seasons. He also experiences struggles and difficulties in his early years and even a first-round sweep at the playoffs but he came back strong every year. Their team's GM is also good at acquiring role players that help the Chicago Bulls reached their stardom.

That's right, without good role players surrounding the best player in the NBA, he would still fair as he cannot carry his team alone, it's a team sport, chemistry is very important as team effort makes a team successful. Correct me if I'm wrong, during MJ's era he is not a fan of building a super team, IMO, Bulls that time are not considered as super team compared to the GSW, Lakers, and Nets with Durant and Irving.
This is why its called 5 vs 5 team game where each player do have its specific role and no player can carry his team alone. It all needs coordination and indeed an extreme teamwork.
Honestly speaking, i do love those old days of basketball compared on what we have now.Theres no quarreling or argumentation about being a super or powerhouse team or not.

MJ's journey doesnt only talk about success yet theres indeed ups and downs in all of his career but he prove out his greatness in the end.
