4761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the trusted stablecoins to save money long-term? on: May 30, 2020, 09:54:34 AM
I don't think there is one stable coin that you can trust long term. All of them can collapse anytime as they are centralized. Once the owners or one of the owners decides to leave and sell off his share, it will incur huge change for that stable coin and might not recover. Also, we don't know the absolute truth about their claims of being backed by certain fiat money. What is the assurance that they are indeed saying the truth about their reserves, even USDT admitted at one time that they were not fully backed by US$?
Indeed stable coins in cryptocurrency are centralized so when the team dies it will all just collapse, but I see this will not happen what you say even though these stable coins are not supported by banknotes or USD then it will remain more stable at the same thing its in dollars.

I think in an era like this going digital, stable coins will be more interested in cryptocurrency.
4762  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: May 30, 2020, 08:58:30 AM
Some countries and some companies will survive but most of the countries will have a recession, these countries are those coming from third world countries and those with very high numbers of infected.
After the corona ends, the form of the economy cannot be ascertained considering the predicted end of a pandemic. Because after all the pandemic is a burden on the state budget. Therefore many countries have begun to reopen their economies even though the corona pandemic fire has not yet ended. The longer the lockdown, the longer the market is closed, and the longer the activity ban is imposed, the passion and ability to consume will decrease. even though in the midst of the global supply chain breaking up, domestic consumption is the only mainstay of the government to turn the economy.
Because it also takes a long time to restore the country's economy back to recovery and I think the corona virus will not end in the near future so this burden will be borne by the state for a long time, yes of course it will use up the budget because the needs must be met for the community due to activities in limit even the lockdown is still valid then this will complicate the regional economy.
Everyone knows that many of these conditions are experienced, so we have to raise the economy we must look at other people or government policies.
4763  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [PHISHING][SCAM]Stellar airdrop by Bitcointalk Center on: May 29, 2020, 11:37:58 PM
Ops this also happened with me too a few days ago. I have also made a thread in Beginners & Help to warn the newbies. for me, the email comes from bittrex_n @ yahoo.com this mail.

Since they asked bitcointalk username in google form, that means it is sure that someone collected a huge amount of emails from this forum and frequently sending them emails.

Code:
news.upbit@yahoo.com

The originating email looks different but I'm sure this is still a plot in the scamer to send spam messages throughout the emails that have been sent.

Can we prevent or filter out spam emails like this from entering the main city? annoying every time there is a notification like this spam email.
4764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 29, 2020, 11:26:57 PM
Liverpool won the league at 1990 last time, that is 30 years not 20 years. That is a looooong wait. They have come close few times as well but still managed to fail. Last year was closest I suppose, couple balls off the bars going in and you got yourself a championship. With champions league as well that would have been perfect for them to win it together.
~snip~
Liverpool became a team capable of showing consistent performance in English Premier League competitions throughout the 2019/20 season.  Jurgen Klopp's team are top of the standings, with a 25-point advantage over second-placed Manchester City.  The Reds only need two wins to ensure the success of getting the first English Premier League title in the club's history
It takes 2 more matches meaning Liverpool will win the English league season 19/20 but I am sure all of it can be overcome by breaking the record with the previous game which only lost one time in one season.

The Klopp team will definitely win the EPL with lots of surprises where the players are consistent and solid in every game.

As a fan of course you will look forward to winning the trophy for Liverpool at the end of the league.
4765  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [PHISHING][SCAM]Stellar airdrop by Bitcointalk Center on: May 29, 2020, 03:18:37 PM
I also just received a Stellar airdrop email just like your catch but this one only differs at the end of the website's name.

I do not understand that they continue to send spam emails to many people to get victims so they can install those that have been infiltrated by a trojan / Malware virus.

Code:

I hope there are no victims by their deception with the lure of airdrop XLM.
4766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in cryptocurrency but which altcoins is good for long term holding? on: May 29, 2020, 03:05:05 PM
I don't suggest holding altcoins for the long-term at all. If anything, altcoins for me are just great short-mid term trading opportunities. It's easy to assume that most altcoins will be obsolete sometime in the future though.

Especially the ones on your list, probably only Monero in my opinion has the chance of surviving in the future(but it doesn't automatically make it a good investment), assuming that Bitcoin's privacy doesn't get that much better. The rest? Total crap. I'm actually really interested in why you actually chose those six.
Well what you said is true that altcoin is better utilized in a short time to trade if it has an increase or potential either, I don't really expect full what they say like the altcoin season I think it will never be there again after seeing circumstances like this because the market has changed and investors no longer trust altcoin as a long-term investment.

Bitcoin is only one of the best coins if you have the intention to hold it for even longer.
4767  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitforex is Scam! on: May 28, 2020, 11:38:22 AM
Maybe you are experiencing some problems on Bitforex there may also be an error so they freeze your own account.

I have used the Bitforex exchange several times but there are no problems at all even the funds have not been held. The bitforex account has not passed KYC but it is still safe to make withdrawals until now.

Maybe only a few experience this, but for me Bitforex is still safe.
4768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 28, 2020, 11:16:30 AM
The next 7 days will be very important for Bremen. First they play against to Schalke and afterwards on Wednesday they will play at home against Frankfurt. I'm looking forward for the match on Wednesday. That will be a very important game for both teams.
Bremen is still in an insecure position or in the relegation zone. I think it is difficult for Bremen to move up to the next table because the points are quite different, especially this week when it will face Schalke for me it will also be difficult to win this match.

I think this match is not interesting even though Bremen will continue to try to win it.
Bremen vs Frankfurt I also prefer Frankfurt over Bremen.
4769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: May 27, 2020, 01:40:18 AM

Many people, gamblers included, usually think of borrowing money to be used for other things like setting up a small business or pay your kids education fees and all the other things one can do with money. But never to be used for gambling. Even if you think very high of yourself and you think you can actually do be able to get back the money then that is not good. You can use a small amount and make that big instead of using the whole loaned money and then lose. That is unethical.

If borrowing is only for my needs I think it's natural because it is important for them to finance their daily lives, but borrowing for gambling I think we have to think again even though we have good skills in gambling still the chance to lose in gambling 80% then therefore gambling cannot be guaranteed that it will return money quickly.

We must understand that gambling is not an easy thing to get profit so they borrow for it.

It's very difficult to say that gambling becomes greedy.
4770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: May 27, 2020, 01:01:00 AM
Right. Using all communication channels and information sources is very useful. The more comprehensive you study the coin or project you want to join, the better it will be for you.
It's very important that you will be keep updated on the bounty campaign that you participated so that you will never miss a single information that might cause of not getting your tokens at the end of the campaign. The more you respond in every social media channel, the higher chances that you will be at ease with the project you have joined like having KYC that should be informed at the start of the campaign.
Social media is very important where many people are now using social media on a daily basis, especially in a bounty campaign with ongoing promotions on social media. Many people will be familiar with the project and information about other campaigns, all must be on social media because of that is one of the most important information.

But now the faster information is on the telegram channel where the admin often gives the right info before going to social media.

4772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRUSTED PROJECT BOUNTY OR JUST SCAM ? on: May 26, 2020, 03:57:09 PM
As bounty hunters its your job to find a good campaign don't just rely on others suggestions you should always have your own way to determine  if the project you want to be part is legitimate.

As for my suggestions I create a thread that only list a bounty coins or tokens that only listed in exchange.

Here is the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232710.msg54025514#msg54025514

Just because a project is listed on exchange don't give them a check as a legit campaign, take a look at digitalbits, they are listed on exchange and doing absolutely great still refuse to be pay hunters reward,
To me that is not an authentic criteria to determine which campaign will be rewarding, there are so many disappointment from project owners that left hunters wondering and confused.

Indeed, whoever thinks that CENTRA being one of the successful ICO during its campaign and even promoted by Mayweather will be turned out to be a scam/fraud.  We can never tell if the project is legit during its incubation period unless they had successfully delivered their roadmap.
CENTRA, as I know, a sepat price touched $ 4, even at that time many hunters held the coin wanting higher prices, but it did not change. The CEO just cheated on his own project, so this project became a scam that was widely reported.

On the other hand many are happy because they have sold the centra at a high price and even the hunters are a little disappointed because they cannot keep their promises.
4773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: May 26, 2020, 03:06:13 PM
I am also trade few coins which are sometime gives us much profit and sometime gives me regret and sorrow. but if we want to good trader than we should be much knowledge which cryptoes are invest and then it is good for anyone.
If you can learn more about trading, I think you will have the opportunity to make a profit, and you can prevent to get loss. But that will also depend on how good the market move, and if you analyze where the price will move in a few hours later, you will see a good time to enter the market so you can buy the coin at a low price. But that will not be easy as you will see, the price will change every minute, so you need to be careful to analyze, and don't be greedy to make a profit.
I think the same trade and investment requires the right strategy to be applied, but with a small amount of funds of course trading daily then it can be done very simply and the analysis that you have learned, pergerkan market is quite unknown but at least we reach the target that has been set or in order to sell the skill has been done a lot so I think there must be instincts and the latest news and usually make the coins go up.

As it is now like Matic coins which are holding a trading competition and mainnet launch, I think this is something that needs to be noticed and will definitely go up.
4774  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] - Fake Ledger Airdrop on: May 26, 2020, 02:46:33 PM
I am clearly getting the smell of scam from this project where actually they are forcing users to send funds to their wallet. Most interesting thing is that entire project is a combination of Hyip & Airdrop. Users have to pay to verify their address and they will get 2x, 3x in return. How funny! As someone have already described that how they are using fake transactions on their web frontend to make visitors believe that they are providing honest service for their users.

Personally i believe scammers have much patience than investors and from that urgency they never give up. After getting caught with one project they don't shy or fear to create another. All their real intention is to steal people's money at any cost.

Like the scammers never give up to continue to commit fraud like this and spread by telegram bot even almost all telegram channels about cryptocurrency filled with this bot, maybe this way they think is still effective and there are still victims so tricks like this still continue like Elon Musk is still happening.

I'm sure users of this forum will never be fooled by their tricks because there have been so many reports, but the worry is that other users are still new to this.

4776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price could reach $ 100,000 by 2025 on: May 26, 2020, 02:34:12 PM
The year is 2025. #bitcoin has been trading between 50k-100k. Hyperinflation is real. The new generation of bearish guys on twitter warn your it’s going back to 9500 every time it dump. You laugh, it dumps to 19k and everybody sells before it bounces to a new high 🔮
How do you think ? and give me comment here

It's too early to predict anything. It is up to the market to decide which way to go. There are still five years left from your prediction, a lot things may happen during this time. If you think about the last ath, you will see that Bitcoin has not crossed the previous ath in three years yet. Let the previous ath cross, Then we will see what happens to the new Price Discovery. So no one can say exactly what will happen in the future. It could be $100k, it could be $1 million. Only time will tell which way we are going.

We know that the crypto market is very difficult to predict so that it bounces wherever prices nobody knows but there is little analysis to approach the price we are targeting.
The journey of 5 years is still long so that achievement is still difficult to occur if conditions like this, but what I worry about is that the pandemic will continue for a long time so that the economy will be difficult to move like what we want it.

If the price has reached ATH then the possibility of price increases will continue so that it is not impossible with even high numbers to be reached.
4777  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] XTRM- Plagiarized content on: May 25, 2020, 02:06:58 AM
By the way OP you can include this to warn others they have recently launched a bounty campaign and the manager has a red trust so this might could be another scam campaign. I see a lot of applications already.

Bounty Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5250582.0

The red trust is from a participant of his previous campaign that is not paid. Seems his up again for another scam project.
Thanks for letting me know that they have bounty campaign as well!

Yeah it seems that this guy doesn't do his due diligence, and he is ready to make an ANN for just about anyone that is willing to pay. I tagged him and created the flag, it's added in the first post.  One would think that bounty hunters actually check the trust score of bounty manager and the project itself before entering the campaign, but based on the amount of applications already submitted, we can see that's not the case. Let's hope they stop now since  XTRM project has been busted for plagiarism.

@NashAmajh is not a good manager and often some of them cheated the bounty before and now they launch the bounty with white paper plagiarism of course they don't filter the project better even they launch at the risk they face now and finally get caught promoting the project plagiarism.

Now I can not believe the bounty project managed by Indians like kakatua before it.
4778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: May 25, 2020, 01:43:24 AM
It's probably most pointless restriction, same like don't allowing players to celebrate goals in usual way when they hug each other - these restrictions just don't change anything because players have close contact with each other during the game so many times. Maybe they should forbid tackles, or to make walls during free kicks.
Probably it's more PR which show people good example of social distancing, rather than actual measure to protect players.
I wonder why they decided to call it social distancing instead of physical distancing  Grin

Anyway regardless of the restrictions. Football is a contact sport, you can't avoid players from getting in close contact with others. From grappling during corner kicks to tackles. The hand shake rules is totally useless in this case.
How about this if they are limited maybe they will play in a hurry lol, social distance can be done but it will not apply on the field when the match starts, while the opponent is always in close contact with other players so this will not be avoided in my opinion.

The rules are too complicated if applied maybe the player is not familiar with this, I'm sure there is another solution behind this problem.
4779  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 22, 2020, 05:33:03 PM
South Korea and few other countries like Turkey managed to overcome COVID19 without the need to lockdown or shut down the economy entirely. Rapid testing is the only solution for a pandemic rather than making people go jobless and the ones who are homeless remain without food and shelter. Cases in some places are increasing despite there being a strict lockdown as they get infected by a person who has been in the hospital or who works in essential services. Not all Governments are able to help those jobless or give them enough money as per their standard of living.
Rapid test kits shows inaccurate results so many countries are not using them for testing purpose.Even if few countries managed to contain the spread still they ill get impact economically because the import and export will not become as before which is the one of the primary sources of income to any country.
Even though some countries have done a lockdown, but the epidemic has not been able to overcome, but the outbreak has been spread so that the lockdown was late to do so it is difficult to overcome the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Many rapid test kits have been carried out in various countries but many positive results may have long been settled in their area so that this sermon is even more widespread.
4780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IMF: The rise of digital currencies on: May 22, 2020, 05:07:58 PM
China is the next country that's talking about creating their cryptocurrency. But, will their citizens be interested in making use of their cryptocurrency that's created by the government? It might still die off like other cryptocurrencies that were created in other countries by the government.
I heard the news that China will make its own digital currency, will the people be interested? of course because it was made by the government so that people do nothing but use the money, but will digital money be recognized by the world?

Cryptocurrency is still part of the world that accepts it and some reject it because there is no guarantee in everything.
