They will win great chase, i thought they would lose this match after seeing the score they need to chase. Great batting by Taylor and Nicholls. This win will boost their confidence.
Even i was expecting the pressure to consume them and make a mess and fail to chase the score as they are not having Williamson in the team.

They managed to chase down such a big total with 11 balls to spare proving that they can still win(Sometimes). Kuldeep was pretty bad though he took a couple of important wickets while Bumrah and Jadeja bowled nicely. Lets see if India can bounce back in the 2nd ODI(Most probably will).
The India bowlers were not able to contain the New Zealand batsman even with a good total on the board and India will try their best to bounce back, the odds for New Zealand to win were really high after India scored a huge total and i was not having the confidence to place a bet as i did not expect New Zealand to chase the score so easily.

NZ would be most relieved today after breaking the loss jinx and winning the match comfortable in the end. Taylor who stood like a wall helped NZ in this win along with Natham and Nicholls who also played well. Taylor for his brilliant knock of 109 not out was given Player of the match. At one time when Neesham & Grandhomme fall quickly India just could have made comeback if they would have got out Taylor during this time.

It’s fair to say that we all were left stunned by the performance produced by New Zealand players, as none of us were expecting them to thrash team India and win this match after an humiliating loss in the T20 series. It’s pertinent to note that the difference between the two team was India's old nemesis i.e. Ross Taylor, who once again rose to the occasion and made sure New Zealand salvage some pride by beating team India.

1st day of the week but fightemhard283 is already on fire.  Grin

This is the perfect start to the month, and I hope these whales keep on showing up and keep on playing these huge bets at Bitdice.

Any plans to add any new slots to the site? The current selection is looking super dated, and Satoshi's Secret is definitely needing a revamp.

Also, what games are you guys currently working on?

Is there some kind of community vote where we can help choose which game is added next?

Used to use Bitdice a few months ago but got bored of the selection and moved to newer platforms. Would like to give it a spin again though if there's anything new?
You can suggest what kind of slot do you want to be added. As mentioned in the past posts, there will be some updates that's about to happen and I don't know if addition of new slots will be on it but it's possible if it's part of the update too.

But it's more of weekly competitions and interface setups.

Interface changes etc. don't happen instantly. There's also another thing which will be finished first until it's getting done.

We are planning on adding weekly competitions. Most likely separate weekly prizes for each currency.

If you wish to suggest something then you can suggest it here, as I have often seen that team Bitdice makes a note of it and whatever is possible to implement it is implemented.
4763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: February 05, 2020, 02:54:08 AM
Bitcoin is good and it has really been helpful for me. I was able to create a source of income through Bitcoin and it has helped me to make some money and also start up a side business which I believe would grow bigger as time goes on☺️, and of course, depending on how much effort I put into it.

If I never got into Bitcoin when I did, around 2015, I might not have been able to accomplish as much as I have done. Even after I lost my dad I was able to carry on with the family, though it was not easy, but imagine I didn’t get these opportunities how it would have been by now lol.

It is amazing to read and hear how bitcoin has changed your life. Most people I would imagine have had financial gains from bitcoin, but it is also amazing how people have started their coding careers in blockchain etc

Bitcoin is the reason I left my 9 - 5 job and became a freelancer, as I was earning more money via bitcoins and less from my regular job. Furthermore I even fulfilled my dream of buying gadgets like IPhone, Fitbit and even gave many gifts to my family members so overall I’m very happy with bitcoins as they changed my life forever.
4764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Correct to $6,500? on: February 04, 2020, 05:18:23 PM
first of all lets get one thing straight, going from $9500 down to $6500 is not called a "correction" that is called a big market crash since it is more than 30% drop.

now that the terminology is corrected we can discuss it better. a crash of this magnitude during a time where price is already on the rise and market is ready for it too is not possible out of nowhere and for no reason. we need some massive FUD and a large market wide panic for the market to crash that hard!
not to mention that we already have multiple strong buy supports (barriers) that would prevent such a crash at $9k, $8.5k and biggest of all $8k.

@pooya87 that’s an eagle eyed observation and I’ll admit that I too would have missed correcting him, and now moving on I don’t expect bitcoin prices to crash because of the global uncertainty that we’re witnessing around us. Though I’m expecting small fluctuations in bitcoin prices, and when that happens one should buy on the dibs because bitcoin prices may once again shoot up due to growing fear of Coronavirus.

4765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: February 04, 2020, 01:49:12 PM
Crime is everywhere, what do you do about it? It's not just only in crypto we have crime, people commit crime every day in various aspect of life so crypto is not an exception, the only thing one can do is learn to protect yourself by applying all necessary security measures and report any suspicious activities.
of course that is true but in crypto the reason why there's more crime because crypto was not fully regulated yet.
When people transact anonymously, that's where the criminals are taking advantage, of course this is privacy but with privacy, this also gives the criminals a chance to scam and launder their money.

WE NEED FULL REGULATION AND THE STANDARD REGULATION FOR THE WHOLE WORLD.

What kind of regulations are you talking about because despite the strictest regulations criminals till date are able to transfer fiat money across country borders, and believe me the number of illegal transactions happens more in fiat. Also I don’t think we need to do anything because these days nearly all exchanges require KYC details to transfer funds, hence if they suspect anything wrong they can always report it to the concerned authorities and then they can take necessary action.

4766  Other / Politics & Society / Bird Flu Virus spreading in China!!! on: February 04, 2020, 10:09:17 AM
The world is already reeling in shock because of the Coronavirus from China and we all were hoping that China tackles it quickly, but now they have a new problem to handle because Bird Flu has been detected out there. At this stage I’m feeling sorry for all those people who have been effected by these viruses, but at the same time I’m feeling scared too what if those infected birds were sent outside China before the virus was deducted in them, don’t you’ll think that these infected birds could cause global chaos?

DOUBLE UP!
Who had a nice win over the weekend?

@Symphonized I’m not surprised to see this kind of big bet being played right now, as Bitcoin prices have risen and if bitcoin prices continues to rise then I believe we will witness even bigger bets. However I didn’t play on this weekend as I’m waiting for bitcoin prices to rise further before I decide to wager, and hopefully someday soon I too will record a big win.
4768  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.2 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: February 04, 2020, 03:33:49 AM
This black-mamba-challenge link directs to a forum of windice? Oh Jesus, not this thing again!
We had literally the same thing at primedice and stake back in the day when they decided they don't want to care about bitcointalk and tried to get people to their own forum for some weird reason, why does these casinos want to have their own forum all the god damn time, you can use this forum as your own and write these things here as well.

Now, they are doing "challenge" which literally what primedice did back in the day as well, and we need to "partner up" but that is not enough, both of those people have to register to windice forum and should be writing there as they are partners and contribute to their forum that way as well. Not only they are getting worse, they are also copying other websites on the bad parts of their websites as well. Hopefully they will figure things out and come back to good ways they used to run or this place will eventually get less and less people.

You're right!!! In fact to my comment made earlier about not having many people signed up for the challenge this might be the exact reason. People like familiarity and don't want to sign up every time to everything and hosting it in their own forum just makes it less accessible.

There’s nothing wrong with this strategy as many gambling sites prefer to build their own forums, as that helps in increasing their traffic base and even coming on google’s front page for various search results. Also marketing techniques remain the same in this industry so if PD has done it before it doesn’t mean Windice can’t do it again, and only after trying multiple strategies will they be able to finalise what works best for them.
4769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 03, 2020, 05:30:00 PM
Plus, Manny was a politician last I checked, I don't know if he still is or not but it really was an important reason why he had that Mayweather fight as well, dude used all that money to get bigger and bigger in politics.

So, I am sure this fight will not probably happen but if they do have this fight I am sure the money reason would be for politics and not anything else, he probably has enough investments and savings to cover all the smaller expenses like salary and car washes and everything, those are easy stuff to pay for, when it comes to politics tho, paying your way in (bribing) always requires more and more money, the more you spend will result with more you further your career as a politician, which means he kinda "needs" money but not in the way you think.

Manny Pacquiao is still into politics. Currently a senator. It is possible that he still wants to continue fighting in order to finance his political ambitions. it is not a secret that he wanted to become a president one day (I hope it won't happen). But I cannot say that he is up into bribery or something. Pacman is a very religious and traditional guy. But who knows.

But hey. I don't think this fight is gonna happen. McGregor is already making big money like 8 digits per fight in mma. And McGregor can cherry pick all he wants. He can fight Mashvidal if it losses to Kamaru, or anybody which is less dangerous than the current champions.

While there’s no doubt that Manny will earn lots of money from this match, but I feel he’s doing it for the fun sake rather than to earn extra cash and reinvest it into politics as he has already made a name for himself and he’ll receive unlimited funding if he chooses to run for presidency. @inthelongrun I believe this fight will definitely take place as their PR teams are continuing to tease this match, and a latest report shows that McGregor can beat Manny and they have concluded this by using stats of Mayweather and Manny’s match.

4770  Economy / Economics / Re: Bakkt is done? on: February 03, 2020, 03:59:17 PM
sad reality, in 2019 Bakkt was used as material for FOMO Bitcoin and after Baakt was launched it looked disappointing, this made me think about Eth 2.0 information, and Halving Bitcoin this year, would it be like Baakt's fate?

We can talk about Bakkt's fate after it's been established for 5-10 years. Until then it's still finding its feet. There'll be dead phases. There'll be explosive phases.

Anyone who expected Bakkt to singlehandedly ignite a dead market is a twat. It's one solitary service for a small number of people. It might facilitate further bullishness when the time comes, it certainly doesn't magic it up out of thin air.

@gentlemand I don’t blame these people because Bakkt was hyped up to be the saviour of the crypto market, and their PR team should have marketed it less then maybe people would have been able to tone down their expectations from Bakkt. However you have raised a valid point too, and we all need to give Bakkt at least few more years before we can say it done for good.
4771  Other / Politics & Society / Will the world leaders punish China because of it’s handling of Coronavirus? on: February 03, 2020, 01:55:09 PM
I had heard rumours online that China was aware of this virus spreading, but it decided not to inform the world earlier about it and by the time it did announce to the world the damage was already done. Now many articles are popping up online with information about how China buried the news of this virus spreading at an early stage, and had they not done that then this virus would never have gone global, as it could have been contained locally and a possible pandemic could have been avoided. Now the question arises will the world leaders act against China for letting this virus ship globally or will they simply ignore their mistake?.

~
Heres the bet thats going to win the Jan closing price event and its got decent odds even.   I did not bet this range, I swear it wasnt that viable when I was looking.   The ranges are quite slim for looking weeks ahead so I could have gone with the slightly more moderate outcome as its quite predictable for it to enter a lull before 10k but after gaining a fairly large amount in a small time.
Quote

I bet on "$9,501 - $10,000" with 16.39 odds

and I was so close to winning the bet. BTC price was $9,533 in the beginning of January 31, but then it slipped down a bit, and, yeah, the range "$9,001 - $9,500" is going to win, like you said.

Currently having fun with betting on Oscars. I think Al Pacino has more than 5% chances of winning

So, I'll probably bet on him, if the odds remain the same closer to the event.
I guess we have no clue what bitcoin will do at all, people wagered on 3 different possibilities more than they wagered the winning one, the winning one ended up having 7.47 odds to win and only 9% of the people who wagered said it would be like that, which comes to show 91% of the people literally didn't know what bitcoin will be like.

Put that into market works and you will see why whales are controlling the market as well, they know what they are doing when buying and selling whereas people like us have 9% of clue what we are doing and mainly just guessing and assuming that ends up being wrong most of the time, the main reason for our volatility I suppose Cheesy.

It was always going to be difficult predicting the correct range for bitcoin prices because of the uncertainty that comes along with it, but overall it was fun and now I hope that someone from here predicts it correctly. Also none of us could have anticipated that Coronavirus would spread so fast, and because of that we would witness sudden upwards movements in bitcoin prices.
4773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: February 03, 2020, 06:08:44 AM
Look for reviews and ratings, if there aren't enough reviews then you should be worried.
Opinion from others really matters. It is either they have experienced something first hand or someone told them so. Especially when you don't have knowledge about something you should need to gather information. Information in the internet is massive, you could draw your conclusion easily, especially when reviews and ratings all say the same things.

Beware of fake reviews and ratings, nowadays scam casinos can do anything they want to attract people.
One example is that they can pay a review website, or pay some people to make a good review of their site. It is still happening till this day where there are some sites which has very bad reputation in this forum but the sites are considered as one of the best sites on the review websites.
Gathering information is indeed good thing to do, but we should not rely on reviews and ratings only. Make sure that the reviews and ratings are honest.

As I belong to the SEO industry I can verify this that any site and any service can purchase fake reviews for themselves, and many times these fake reviews will come from verified profiles too. Instead of searching on the internet I would suggest you’ll to start a discussion thread out here, as this forum is the home to many active gamblers and they’ll be happy to share their honest reviews with you.
4774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 02, 2020, 05:38:23 PM
As expected, the match has ended in another boring draw. The Zimbabwean bowlers had 90 plus overs with them, but they failed to bowl out the Sri Lankans. Rain also played a major role in this test match, and this is another example of the climate change affecting cricket schedule. Those who are proposing the 4-day test format needs to explain how they are going to take this factor in to account.

@Vishnu.Reang while this match may have ended in a draw I felt that the Zimbabwean team will be able to draw lots of positivity from this fixture, as they almost came close to winning this test match. Also I’ll second your concern regarding the weather, because so many matches gets washed out due to poor planning from the ICC.

Twitter has added the emoji as soon as you write #Bitcoin BTC hashtag.
To use it, just type the hashtag of Bitcoin(#Bitcoin) and the emoji will pops up.

Edit: I think it will also work on hashtag #BTC BTC #btc BTC #bitcoin BTC.

@hugeblack thanks for noticing it and posting it out here and as we discuss here Bitcoin Emoji is trending a lot on twitter, and do you’ll believe that we will see sudden spikes in bitcoin prices because of this move by Twitter.

While Jack is actively doing everything possible in promoting bitcoin, Mark is busy trying to sell his shitcoin (AKA Libra) idea to fool the masses. Don't be like Mark, 😁 be like JACK.

Bitcoin with its emoji currently trending No1 on Twitter NG. What a great way to start the week.

@CryptopreneurBrainboss no one is keen to buy Facebook 💩 coin, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they called off this coin because their own partners have started to back out of this coin.

We are planning on adding weekly competitions. Most likely separate weekly prizes for each currency.

As long as you guys are "planning" nothing will change, it is a MUST right now, any casino out there has this as mandatory feature, not a nice to have anymore, to retain customers.
Dont rush up yet everything does have its own time.  Wink

@docthusinh I can understand your excitement for the upcoming competitions, and I’m hoping to see your name in the leaderboard once the competition begins. @milewilda I’ll agree with you as I believe that team Bitdice is planning something special, so let’s give them some more time as I’m hundred percent sure they’ll deliver and you can always count on them.
4777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2020 on: February 02, 2020, 09:18:35 AM

Men Singles Dominic Thiem VS Novac Djokovic

This will be one interesting match in my opinion after both fighters have faces and defeated their first opponent and now faced with each other again from their last five meetings and Thiem has beaten Djokovic in four of that meetings this could be a great start.

One of the good quality of Thiem is his Courage and if this would count he can surely win against Djokovic he would surely win his first grand slam because he is fearless he would play big and bold driving the ball down with authority, aside from this Thiem surely sharpen his transition skills, and adopted a lot of court positionings, he could surely stretch an opponent and willing to make a close to the net battles he can sure make a baseline assault to Djokovic at crunch time as he did in London and Paris matches,

While Djokovic is Arguably the greatest return in tennis history, spending time in sharpening his serves and training with his co-coach Goran Ivanisevic he is cracking the serve by hitting 82 percent of his first-serve points, he is a sniper when it comes in serving Djokovic will surely play with a positive energy I really think that he is prepared for this match I think the passing of his friend and mentor will give the motivation in winning this fight and that is the legendary Kobe Bryant I think this is enough motivation in winning this match and get his Grand Slam,

So my final thought will be Novak Djokovic defeats Dominic Thiem in four sets because he is in his comfort zone his return game could carry him and his proactive court positioning will to the job for him, he exhibits great timing in Melbourne he would surely be more aggressive in court positioning than Thiem Djokovic Dominates this court and I think that is the reason why he will win this match.

Djokovic vs Thiem will be an epic clash as both these players badly want to win this match, however I feel that Djokovic will be victorious because that guy just can’t accept defeat and his desire to win is simply unbelievable. However I don’t except Theim to simply handover the match to Djokovic, I'm pretty sure he’ll give his best performance before Djokovic finally beats him.
4778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 02, 2020, 06:31:49 AM
Manchester United were pretty decent today, but it was pretty clear they needed a real #9, Martial is so lost when playing as the main striker. Also, Pereira is officially part of the list of 'players you have no idea why the hell are playing in Man Utd rather than a mid-table Championship team', the list includes Phil Jones and Lingard  Lips sealed

@tomahawk9 I saw the match for the first half and hour and I did notice little improvement in their playing style, but it was not enough and if Manchester United want to get back in the top 4 then they’ll need to start playing ruthlessly otherwise they’ll will finish outside the top 4 again. I’ll totally agree with you Pereira, Jones, and Lingard need to be sold in the summer transfer window, and maybe even Martial needs to be sold as he’s constantly failing to perform for the club.

We have some $230k+ overall wager on here.

@milewilda what a brilliant start to the month of February, and this is a whale people a big fat whale who’s decided to come and play at Bitdice because they know how good this casino is. It’s also pertinent to note that whales and all other players love to play at Bitdice even when there’s no competition going on, and hopefully now people will stop doubting about Bitdice ability to attract the whales.

There are 3 U19 matches going on currently. SA vs WI - SA was all out for 143 and in response WI are 23/2 in 4.4 overs. Seems should a good competition if SA can pick more quick wickets. JPN was all out  for 115 runs and in response NIG are 55/1 in 11.1 overs and in third match UAE got all out batting first for 174 runs and Canada are now 20/1 in 5.2 overs.

@onrise it seems that South Africa’s chocking habit is not going away, and currently West Indies are only 59 runs away from victory and have 6 wickets in hand. Nigeria has comfortably won their match against Japan, and it’s a shame that we see such low scoring games in the World Cup. Further it seems that Canada may loose their match unless they start playing the big shots anyone watching this game or no?.
